Bought these to trim my kids hair. My son has really thick hair and these did not cut well at all. My daughter's hair is thinner so I think these will work better for her. Do not buy these if you are cutting thick hair. Thin hair works fine with these.

The pictured item is the Fougera version and the item sent was a similar item sold by Perrigo. It wouldn't have taken much effort to have put the right item, or have emailed that a substitute was being sent. Sort of a a bait and switch, though I did not send the order back as anything with Dibucaine is better than nothing at all. although it was technically dibucaine, i wanted the one from FOUGERA & COMPANY because it has a tad bit of creamyness to it. it also has a more protective feature to it. instead i got sent a competitors which i do not like mutch
Since I discovered Skin Shield at Walgreen's about three years ago, I have been telling people about this product. I get cracked skin on my knuckles and fingers in the winter (probably from the anti-bacterial products I use and the cold air), areas that just aren't great places for a bandage usually. I use 1-2 coats of Skin Shield on a cut. It does sting at first -it's an antiseptic, so that's a given -but it has staying power after it dries, which is in seconds. There is no lingering medicinal smell, unlike some liquid bandages. It peels away and new skin is beneath. Last year, I needed some while out and about, but the drug store I stopped at didn't sell it. I bought a competing product and wasted my money: it wore away too quickly and the smell was still there after it dried. I'm sold on Skin Shield. :)

I managed to cut my finger one day while I was chopping some onions. I've been using this product for 4 years and I think this is the best liquid bandage on market. I tried some other brands too but they just didn't protect wounds like this one.
due to a foot injury, i have and still use this product. because it is non-stick, it will not tear the skin as other products that i have used. with regard to quality, curad has, in my opinion, made a better quality bandaid, bandage, tape, pads, than the other brand.

When me and my husband do use condoms, which is rare now that I'm on a magnificent birth control, we used these or "Skyn." For a condom, it feels pretty decent. Not as great as going without one, but sometimes the occasion calls for one. However, if you're well endowed or if you're a girl and your husband/boyfriend is well-endowed, be careful with going too hard with these! One night the condom shredded. Completely broke from the tip to the base because he packs some heat! We didn't even notice until we were done because these condoms are so thin. So if you don't have a great birth control in tandem with these condoms, I'd get a thicker condom so accidents don't occur. Overall, it's one of the best condoms a couple can use that's "close" to the real thing, so if you're a regular condom user, it's a good brand to try.

I injured my ankle pretty severely. I graduated from a walking cast to this ankle brace. It fit inside of my regular shoes (shoes with shoelaces only) and offered great support for my ankle for several months before I moved on to a nice pair of boots.

Update May 17, 2013: Since I wrote my original review, I've come to find out that I do have some problem with fogging of my glasses in cold weather, but it hasn't been a major issue. Also, these masks do not absolutely protect against dust/allergens; the conical (cone) type masks do perform better, I think. But, I still like these masks for their fit and comfort and sometimes double up when I'm dusting/cleaning and that helps greatly. Still recommend this brand.

3M got this product right. It does exactly what it says, sticks to itself but not hair or hide. I have used it on a horse but 99.9% of what I buy stays in my household medicine cabinet to use on the kids and my husband. It holds bandages in place on any arm, finger, leg not matter the location. They do make a similar product that can be bought in the local pharmacy/drugstore for humans but it is much more expensive and it is only 2" wide and takes more to hold the nonstick gauze pad in place. Plus this comes in "cool" colors (not just the human "white") so at least my kids are willing to sport it long enough to actually get the wound to heal. I have an 16yr old Border Collie mix that was having problems walking on the hardwood floors. I tried dog shoes but they sounded like a horse was running through the house so on a recommendation from my local petfood store I tried out this tape. Fairly easy to put on, my dog doesn't seem to mind (he danced a lot wearing the shoes) and effective in preventing slipping! Lasts a couple of days and is much cheaper than the $50 shoes.
I have not used one of these yet in an actual first aid emergency, but I did open one up to see how to apply it and what kind of quality it was. It is comparable to the israeli style pressure dressings, but not as bulky. It has a gauze dressing that can be folded over a couple times for smaller wounds or left as is for wider wounds, and has a kerlix style roll attached to it to wrap the dressing into place. What I found really nice about this product is that each one comes with a second roll that is not attached to the pressure dressing and can be removed to use as extra padding or for another injury.
