I have not used one of these yet in an actual first aid emergency, but I did open one up to see how to apply it and what kind of quality it was. It is comparable to the israeli style pressure dressings, but not as bulky. It has a gauze dressing that can be folded over a couple times for smaller wounds or left as is for wider wounds, and has a kerlix style roll attached to it to wrap the dressing into place. What I found really nice about this product is that each one comes with a second roll that is not attached to the pressure dressing and can be removed to use as extra padding or for another injury.
Overall it seems like a great product that I hope to never have to use, but will be glad I have it if I need it!
Pre-packed, easy to open, sterile pressure dressings are a must have for first aid kits. I keep two in my vehicle as well for emergency use per potential accidents when bleeding needs to be addressed immediately and can't wait for EMS.
