One reason this kit is so cheap might be because certain items were taken out and sold separately. The kit DOES contain what is shown in the photos, so I can't say the description is wrong. However, these items are missing to complete the kit:

There might be a good reason these items are missing this could be a configuration issue, but I would have loved that information in the description. And I would prefer to have a fully stocked IFAK rather than an incomplete one.

I am an emergency physician. This does not have everything you need for a single trauma case in the prehospital environment but its a good start. Most "medical kits" are band aids, tape and other crap. This bag and starter equipment is a low cost start for a car or hunting kit. Look up CoTCCC for other information.

this is the real deal. it comes fully stocked and has more than enough of the good stuff to form the base of an awesome IFAK. First of all, the bag itself is epic and will fit any webbing or bag. I fit mine to a range of maxpedition bro-sacks and it takes about 30secs to swap from belt to belt. The supplies were great quality and just perfect. I did add to mine a nasal airway, some band-aids and strips (to deal with small abbrasions and to help settle kids down), some quick-clot, another (full CAT tornique) and an additional israli bandage. A chest seal (for punture wounds) is the last item i will add to the pack which with the other items gives the pack an overall 6-star rating all for less than $60. I have reviewed the other packs on amazon and this by far is the best. Actually, i'm just going to order another one now. LOL.

Versa-Pac Reusable Heavy Duty Part No. d Pack Part no. MH71598 KENDALL HEALTHCARE PROD.

This item has a great texture and the gel has a very firm consistency. The cover/shell is also thick, firm yet flexible. The seal, however, failed in less than a year and the gel pack is now leaking. Not happy about durability but in all other respects this is a product well-suited for its stated purpose, at least as far as cold therapy. I've never used it for heat therapy.

Band-Aid Band-Aid Comfort-Flex Adhesive Bandages Sheer Extra Large

I originally used one of these at work and loved the way it stayed securely in place all day and over night. Most band-aids that I have bought at home seem to come off easily. Couldn't find these locally and finally found them here. Works perfectly and stays on securely. I wouldn't buy any other model, these are the best.

this new "cushioned fabric" model defeats the reason people buy the Sheer Strip. The whole point of the Sheer Strip in the line of Band Aids is that it doesn't show, right? The cushion fabric thing totally defeats that purpose! BTW looks like the same model in the box in this illustration, but the ones I got were the news one. I bought them here on Amazon cause I thought they were the old, normal Sheer Strips based on this picture.

3M Medipore Soft Cloth Tape 1" x 10 yd Pack: 2

I originally purchased this tape thinking it was the same tape they used after my surgery. While it IS very good, I later discovered the tape they used on me was Hypafix, which is, in my opinion, even better than Medipore because it sticks even better, yet is extremely gentle on the skin and does not pull hairs. KCK Medical is a great company to purchase from. My shipment arrived super fast and the shipping was free through Amazon.

This is the only kind of tape that I have been able to use for years, but the two inch rolls have had to be cut so this is the perfect solution.

I'm sure this is a great product if you're looking for a thick foam bandage. I wanted the thin material product to wear on the foot and still be able to fit into shoes. I guess I didn't read enough detail or pay attention to the thickness listed. They still do make the thin product, but they need to emphasize this feature on the label better. Buyer beware!

Triple Cream Severe Dry Skin/Eczema Care

I've tried a bunch of stuff and this one actually works and has improved my skin.

The downside is this stuff will leave your hands greasy for quite a while after application.

The upside is it's actually working and you apply less lotion.

I do want to eventually try the Neosporin Eczema Essentials line but it looks more similar to the Aveeno Eczema Care lotion, which isn't as good as Triple Cream.

My son has eczema whole body, we tried a lot of other creams, but no one can compare to it. It traps the water in the skin for a very long time and no allergy reaction. I highly recommend it!

This has worked really well for me. It foams up nicelysimilar to the consistency of shaving pot cream. With a pea-sized amount, it is able to remove makeup and bring my face back to its (almost squeaky) clean state. I haven't tried removing eye makeup with this, but it does a great job at removing foundation, blush, eyebrow pencil -don't have residual makeup on the cotton pad when I apply toner afterward. Will add this to my list of favorite beauty products.

This cleanser lathers well, you only have to use a pea-sized amount to cover your whole face. It seems to remove makeup well, and it's non-irritating and didn't dry out my skin. I don't think this alone will help cure noticeable acne, but for that it's important to use a cleanser in general. I did notice a light soapy smell that's unpleasant to me, but it goes away quickly.

On it's own merits, this product really has no major flaws. I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because of the price I've used other face washes that are as effective at half the price or less.

Heritage Products Castor Oil, The Palma Christi, 8 Fluid Ounces (240 ml) (Pack of 6)

I've read many reviews about how castor oil is supposedly good for hair and it promotes growth. So I wanted to try it out. It is pretty thick so I mixed it with coconut oil which also gives it a pleasant aroma (the castor oil barely has a scent). I used the oil on my eyelashes (because it's sad when my fiance's eyelashes are longer and fuller than mine) and I noticed that it did get longer and thicker looking. I'm not sure if my head is just playing tricks with me but I like my lashes now.

I also use it as an oil treatment for my hair because I recently got it chopped off and I'm trying all sorts of things to grow it out again. I'm not sure if it helps grow your hair but getting an oil treatment every now and then is good and healthy hair is always a plus.

My sister recommended that I use Palma Christi on a woolen cloth to help with my arthritis. I laughed at her but I was desperate. I can't rub the oil in because that too causes pain. I soak the woolen cloth in oil and place a hot water bottle on top. I thought i would really feel foolish if I woke up with a bed soaked in water and oil but I tried it anyway. I slept for 5 hours! I don't know if it was the combination of heat with the oil or not but, the next day I soothed my entire body, including my face, with oil. The jury is still out on how long this will last but I will ride the wave until I come to shore.

I have always had dry feet, but I take care of my feet and be careful to put lotion and try to not walk around too much with bare feet and wear good shoes. I get a pedicure at least once a month which helps my feet to look healthy. About a month ago, I noticed that the bottom of my left foot appeared to have a "cut" which was really a crack in the heel. I live in Arizona and it is really dry here and has actually been cold (for Arizona standards). Nexcare Reusable Cold/Hot Pack

These packs work great! Freeze fast & stay cold forever. Haven't tried as hot pack yet, but foresee no problems. Long so they cover area nicely. Covers work great to give skin protection and straps hold them nicely in place wherever you want them. We bought two & use them constantly!

Wish 3m would LABEL their product better, but this one did have the straps which allow you to wrap and hold the icepack where needed. Same box, but without a look inside the box, it's impossible to tell if you'll get the icepack sleeve (nearly useless) or the thin but durable cover with elastic strap.

These are ideal icepacks if you suffer any sort of headaches, knee injuries or other locations where a secure wrap around lets you not worry, and hold temperature very well, and despite being cold-frozen (til the gel is semi-frozen state) and pulled to wrap around head. Nearly TWO YEARS and I've now worn out the straps, but none of the icepacks have ruptured or leaked. Really solid product.

The old style 2nd. Skin Brand of blister pads stuck much better than this newer type. One plus is they are easy to peel off the blister so you don't pull the skin off with the pad. I wear these running and they tend to come undone around the edges after 10-15 miles and ripple and fold under.

CURAD Sensitive Skin Strips Spots, 50 Count 4pack

It may sound silly but I'm a man and I'm a marathon runner after dropping 70 pounds in the past 5 years but I still have a serious problem with bloody/chaffed nipples on long runs that last more than an hour. Nipguards are fine but they're expensive and whenever I'd need them, I wouldn't have them. These work just as good provided you put them on a few hours before running. I assume it takes a while for the adhesive to do its job. I'm a morning runner and as long as I put these on before bed, I can run however far I want in whatever conditions and they will not fall off. I've even forgotten to take them off and have taken a shower and they've stayed on. BUT if you put these on a few minutes before your run, results may vary (so I still keep some nipguards around for the mornings I realize I've forgotten the curads the night before).

I'm not sure if this is what the creators of the product had in mind but I had to mention as one of my best marathon related tips/tools.

I wear these for long runs to combat nipple chafing. They work great. I have worn them up to 10 miles with no sign of it coming off. I would guess that it will stay on for much longer.

I own this kit and I think it's a very good small size for those of us who don't like to carry a 1 pound emergency kit while we hike. There are a lot of items not in here. I supplemented it with tweezers, Pepto Bismol tablets, pain relievers, antiseptic cream, and allergy medicine. I prefer a small size for 2 people, but others may find they need more things.

Overall, I've been using this kit for 1 1/2 years and I love the size.

I highly recommend this product for a Survival kit or for backpackers it has everything you need! its a must at a great price!
