I bought this stabilizer to support my wrist and thumb. I was diagnosed with the dreaded "mommy wrist". It is very simple to use and it can be used on either wrist/thumb. It offers adequate support without hurting me or being uncomfortable. I gave a rating of three because the piece that wraps around your thumb seems to wear out a little quicker than I would like. I have purchased two of these and the quality and construction were the same both times.
