An excellent oil. :) It's pure, edible great. I bought this after returning a different brand of oil, when I realized that in the US oils can be sold as pure therapeutic grade even when they're not 100%.

Tried it mixed w/ ice cream (ONE drop in a HUGE bowl of ice cream is plenty!) yum! I'm looking forward to finding other ways to cook with it.

My yoga teacher rubs this on her hands at the end of our workout. The smell is so relaxing. I had to buy it for myself. It came last week.

Last night I put it on my pillow and it was wonderful. I fell asleep and I was so relaxed. My husband got bit by jellyfish snorkeling so I put

it on his chest. I can't wait to see the results tomorrow. Someone wrote it was not the right company. That is not true. Mine was

Young Living Essential Oil. I am so pleased. it is pricey but it smells better than any lavender oil. Absolutely love it.

Lanacane Anti-Bacterial First Aid Spray: 3.5 OZ

Lanacane Anti-Bacterial First Aid Spray: 3.5 OZGreat product! Purchased this for a trip that we have taken...worth your money Works great!! Does the job, a terrific product. AAAAAAAAAA++++++++

If you get a large abrasion or deep cut, I wouldn't use this. Otherwise it's excellent.

I recently removed a good half dollar sized area of skin on my knee in a fall (with long pants on). I tried the spray and the pain is unbearable for up to a minute until the benzocaine starts helping. If you can stand a lot of pain, it might be worth it to put it on abrasions as well.

I don't see why they had to use such a painful antiseptic.

HIP KIT DELUXE M1107-8 1 EACH

HIP KIT DELUXE M1107-8 1 EACHUsed this after my second hip replacement in March. The leg lifter was very helpful in the hospital right after surgery and meant I could be pretty independent in the hospital getting in an out of bed by myself. This kit had more items in it than the one the hospital sold me for my first hip surgery and at half the price.

The design and quality of the items in this kit are far superior to those offered by my local medical equipment supplier. They are also less expensive. They arrived on time and well packaged. I am very pleased.

There is everything in this kit that you will need if you are scheduled for hip replacement. There is a device in this particular set that is not available in most other kits. It is the piece used to lift your own leg, into bed or such. Very useful during the initial phase after surgery.

If you are going to have hip surgery, this is a must have. Don't know what I would have done without this kit. I was really amazed at the sock helper...whoever thought this up is a genius! The grabber is so helpful with getting dressed and for other little things around the house. The leg lifter has helped me in and out of bed and with my physical therapy. It did take a while for delivery so order ahead of time so that you have when you get home.

SWAT-T Tourniquet

SWAT-T TourniquetThere seems to be a common reoccurring theme among products, especially like these, that, while common sense in the directions on how to apply... still somehow require a skill set to use properly. I've seen plenty of people apply a cat-t and soft-t that wouldn't have stopped a papercut from bleeding. Putting it on and twisting is HOW you make it tight. However, that doesn't mean that putting it on and twisting... means that it's tight. Just like this one. Wrapping it around a limb, is how you apply it. It actually has a diagram on it, that when you make the ovals/rectangles into squares/circles on it, so you know that you're stretching it tight enough. But again.... somehow something get's lost in translation. The ability for the human element to mess something up, is always prevailing. I've put a cat-t and soft-t onto myself, and tightened it down until I couldn't twist the rod anymore. That hurts, but I can do it. These, I can't get more than 3/4s wrapped (on my thigh) before the pressure is so great I feel like I'm about to crack my femur, or get a hernia. I'm not fat, but I'm 6' 220, my thighs aren't exactly slim.

pros: Versus the cat and soft-ts, *these are VERY lightweight, ridiculously so. *Can get just as tight, and in my opinion, tighter. *Requires less fine motorskills, so CAN be faster to apply when you're nervous, vs fumbling with velcro and tabs. *This has no moving parts. *And, can be applied one handed proficiently, you wrap it around with no pressure, and then start stretching it, and it will stick to itself, and holdstart wrapping tighter. *Very unlike cat's and soft-t's, where you're a dumb*ss if you never took it out of it's wrapping, because they require preparation to be applied. These, do not. You can remove one from packaging easily, with gloves on, and then it's just stretch and wrap... oh, and tuck. With all equipment, training and knowing what you're doing with it before you need it, helps. *It can hold icepacks, very well actually, again, see last sentence and first sentence of review.

con: Versus the cat and soft-ts, *I don't know of anyone who's actually used this realtime. I know it has good statistics in it's realtime field testing. But I don't know the individuals that used it. I trust soft-t's because I've already had to use them. *You can't release pressure on these as simply as unwinding the rod one rotation, to check for clotting. It can be adjusted to lesser tension, without removal, but it's more difficult. (That truly doesn't matter if you're not the medical officer, but it is an observation) *It is a rubber, (latex free), and it's possible they could dry out. Tourniquets are always hanging on the outside of packs, and just inside them, getting hit with all the elements. These are designed to not dry out and crack, and I haven't seen one that has dried out. I haven't even seen one that's torn. However, my two bells that went off when I was introduced to it, was it tearing, once it's applied, and it gets the smallest pin prick, and popping right off. And it drying out. But no evidence to support either of those. Just worries. *As for the expiration, I got mine in March of '10, and the expirations are 15 Oct 2014 for mine. And, with most certainty, that's a 'best by' date, also it's airtight sealed in foil/plastic bag, leave it in the bag, and there should be no reason that it'll last for many, many years. Open one, and learn how to use it, and leave the rest, stored in the bags, they are easy to get open.

synopsis; They intrigue me. I would like to buy 10 and perform my own rugged test, but it's not my priority. I do keep these in my trauma kit, as a secondary tourniquet to two soft-t's. I also keep one in a firstaid bag for outdoor recreation, and one in a pack in my trunk. I trust that they will stop bleeding, and in a car accident, or an hiking mishap, I'm not worried. How small and light they are makes them awesome. My concern is how well it will work, being in 140 degrees for months, and then being applied, it not cracking, and then it not breaking from sharp objects, gear snagging, shrapnel, being drug across rock and pavement, etc. For that, I stick with the soft-t as a primary, and haven't had to use them as a backup yet. Even if they do expire, every 4 yearsif they are the best tourniquet (don't know if they are), then spending $10 on life insurance, every 4 years is something I can afford. I think they're field proven, and will trust them in such, just not fully combat proven yet, IMHO.

Use this as a secondary tourniquet. I have found it difficult to use single handed with my non-dominant hand. Have used one to create a pressure dressing and it worked VERY well.

Buy SWAT-T Tourniquet Now

So you are giving this product a single star because it doesn't hold ice packs in place? That is something that it is not even designed to do. What is your medical cert? It sounds as though you might benefit from some medical training. Even with "real tourniquets (i.e. CAT and SOF tourniquets)," after a single real-time application they should be tossed. For us, after using a tourniquet during training exercises, it will be taken out of circulation for out in the field. This product works, same with ratchet straps, bungie cords, and strips of cloth, etc. You do not need to buy a REAL tourniquet for $25, you have the ability to make you own as well. This product is great, compact, lightweight, and is able to go high in the armpit and thigh regions, where bullet holes like to hide. Trauma surgeons recommend and use this product. Oh, and as mentioned before, all tourniquets have expiration dates on them. Materials do degrade over time, and this way, fire stations, military units, and other first responder programs are able to justify purchasing more, because you can never have too much gear.

XL Paramedic, EMT, Medic, EMS Tool Pouch & Sheath

XL Paramedic, EMT, Medic, EMS Tool Pouch & SheathI purchased the XL EMS Tool Pouch and Sheath for my work with the EMS System in my state. I wanted a large enough pouch to hold my medic gear securely so that I could save some pocket space for other items.

I am fairly impressed with the construction and materials so far.

As stated, it can hold a stethoscope in the large back pocket, but I use a dual lumen, dual head type and it takes a little effort to get it put in there and I have to be careful when I pull it out as mine has a rubber ring securing the diaphrams to the bells and it has a tendency to want to roll off and then I have to put it together again, which can be a little distracting in an emergency and if I lose a piece in the field, I am pretty much S.O.L.

The velcro closure system on the pouch does not go to the bottom of the unit and the flap will not pull down tight across the tops of my tools, which means that they are not as secure as I would like them to be, although I have not actually lost any yet.

It could also use a velcro or snap flap to secure shears or hemostats in the pockets, or a securing flap across the entire outer flap to pull the outer flap tight to keep everything in the pockets.

All in all appears to be a decent product, but could use some adjustments. I am not a designer, but a user, and these are just my opinions.

This is why I gave it four stars and not five.

I will take mine to a seamstress to see if she can put an extra piece of velcro across the bottom of the pouch or a larger piece higher inside the flap, or both, to make it more secure and maybe a closure across the outer flap.

Very comfortable, very big you can store a lot in it, I use it for my bp cuff sheers and my pen light and gloves

Buy XL Paramedic, EMT, Medic, EMS Tool Pouch & Sheath Now

Shipping is fine. Product is not as excellent as shown in picture. The stethoscope fits in nicely in the pouch, but the EMT shearer fits in loosely and has the tendency to drop out of the pouch when moving about. Internal seams are not properly trimmed, leaving sharp edges inside which may cause unpleasant experience when you take out the necessary items in the compartments.

I am an EMT on a volunteer rescue squad. I'll probably never have my EMT cargo style pants on when the pager goes off, and this holster lets me have everything I need in one package ready to go. The only improvement I'd like to see is a belt clip instead of a belt loop so you could clip it onto a pocket or belt instead of having to thread your belt through the loop.

Bag-Balm, Vermonts Original Moisturizing & Softening Ointment - 10 Oz (2 pack)

Bag-Balm, Vermonts Original Moisturizing & Softening Ointment - 10 OzBag-Balm, Vermonts Original Moisturizing & Softening Ointment 10 Oz/ Pack, 2

This product has been around for years. It's been used for pretty much everything from cow udders to lubricating squeaky bedsprings. It's medicated, lubricated, and it lasts forever. Scratches, scrapes, dry cuticles, rough heels, diaper rash be-gone with Bag Balm. I've used it to lubricate the slide on my aviary door, to soften my dog's heel pads, as an under eye and lip balm, and I wouldn't be without it. Grandma did indeed know best when she said, 'Bag Balm. It's the way to go.'

The stuff is great, but this should not be marketed as a 2-pack. Its only one 10 oz tub and it can be bought elsewhere for much cheaper

Bag Balm just works it fixes all those rubs and irritations that can happen in bike shorts and keeps you riding comfortably Use a little every day as a preventative or just use when a problem occurs.

Bag Balm is greasy and will darken your leather seat but it is so worth it. I never tour without it. I gave small extra cans to other riders on this year's ride from San Diego to St. Augustine, FL it saved the ride for several of them. I just restocked at the next town with a Tru-Value Hardware store.

My wife, a non ride uses it for rubs also and loves it. It was a hard sell to get her to try it because it has a strong smell and is greasy, but once she did she is also hooked.

Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson First Aid Cloth Tape 1/2 Inch X 5 Yards Dispenser

Johnson & Johnson All Purpose Cloth Tape, 1/2 Inch 1 rollWorks well, easy to tear, doesn't hurt skin but is sticky enough to stay when needed! I use it with my childcare kids (maybe twice a year) and wouldn't dream of using anything else!

I was very disappointed that the local grocery store and CVS both stopped carrying this tape at the same time. Are they discontinuing it? It was always more expensive than the other brands (store brand, NextCare), but you got what you paid for. I bought 3 rolls to hopefully last me a while.

Unlike competing brands, the Johnson and Johnson cloth tape is:

1. Easy to cut

2. Easy to write on with sharpie, will not bleed and will not fade

3. Very sticky

4. Does not leave adhesive residue after being pulled off

5. Relatively waterproof

Right from the start, this tape is a pain to use. I had to break open the dispenser just to get to the tape. The tape is very thin and stretchy. WATER-JEL - Burn Dressing - 4" x 4"

WATER-JEL - Burn Dressing - 4' x 4'Years ago I had purchased several 4x4 waterjel burn dressings individual packages, stuck them in my car's emergency kit, and then forgot them. Then after a terrifying car accident in the rain, my family and I were stranded in the middle of the interstate. We were basically okay, except for my husband the driver who had painful 3rd degree burns on both hands from the airbags exploding in the car. I whipped out these packets, tore them open, placed the gauze on his burns, and poured the remaining gel over them. The pain subsided and the burns were kept clean. In fact when the ambulance got there 45 minutes later (and this was downtown Dallas), the medics told us that they really had nothing to add to the waterjel treatment. That the ER would have done little different. They also told us that these airbag burns were very common.

I have now put Waterjel products in my house medical cabine and all three of our cars. In fact, I think our whole extended family has now bought and carry these with them.

This is absolutely the best for burns, it instantly numbs the pain and promotes healing.

I burned my hand on boiling hot water, I was in undescribable pain. After using the burn dressing and was able to tolerate the healing the process as well as sleep confortably.

Fantasia High Potency IC Hair Polisher Olive Styling Gel, with Sparkle Lites, 16 oz.Love it...worked very well in my hair! I am mixed race and wanted more shine for my curls...this is wonderful! Isn't sticky, no residue, left my hair soft as well.

I rarely if ever rate a product badly but I am very particular about my hair which is natural 4b. Since I converted from my relaxer and bc'd Olive Oil Eco Style Gel has been my gel of choice however in the interest of other reviews I have read about this gel I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately I was disappointed, terribly. To give a little contrast of the the gel is thinner in consistency and lighter in color vs the Olive Oil Eco Style Gel. Every morning after I co-wash I do an ACV rinse and then rinse my hair under the shower and wrap it up in a towel. Any gel I use is applied to clean product free hair, when I applied this to my hair it made my hair look dry and did nothing to define the curls naturally. I'm not exactly sure what "sparkle lites conditioner" is intended to be but I'm sure I don't want this combination in my hair.

First Aid Ointment - 3 tube pack - 1.5 oz tubes

First Aid Ointment - 3 tube pack - 1.5 oz tubesI had been looking for Johnson & Johnson's First Aid Cream (White Ointment with a topical anesthetic) for what seems like an eternity and jealously guarding the small reserve I have on hand, when I stumbled upon this little gem from Natureplex!

Apparently Johnson & Johnson no longer manufactures their product. Probably because of some welcome government regulation saving us consumers from exposure to a product that if we were mice and drank 50 gallons a day of it we would get flatulence! But I digress....

Natureplex hit a home run with this product and I'm RELIEVED I found it! Not only is it as advertised and does what it says, a welcome anomaly in todays' world of hyper-inflated advertising statements, but it's also saving me about 2-3 hours a week of internet search time trying to locate a replacement for a trusted, but no longer available, first aid ointment.

I've used this product a few times now and I'm thoroughly satisfied with the results! Even if Johnson & Johnson started manufacturing their product again I would stay with Natureplex's First Aid Ointment since it is such a superior product and a good value.

Like I said: Johnson & Johnson Who?!
