Dynarex Adhesive Tape Remover Pad - 100 ea

This product is wonderful for removing the leftover stickiness from bandaids, patches of all kinds and is kind to the skin. In the past I would have used finger nail polish remover. Not any more!

This product was first discovered by me when my brother was going through cancer and his pain patches left silicon stickiness on his skin. You would think it would be available or better known for those of us who wear different types of patches which state that alcohol removes the adhesive left behind.

This is a product every one should know about!

This product promises to help with tape and adhesive removal, and it really doesn't do much of anything. I don't expect miracles, but I did expect some result and didn't get it. If you use the pads to rub on the tape or adhesive and let sit for several minutes, then take soap and water to it you can get results that way, but basically this is a waste of money. The main ingredient is mineral oil, so save your money on these pads, buy some cheap mineral oil. Apply the mineral oil, let it sit, then use soap and water and you have the same effect for a tenth of the price!

Working as a bricklayer in 1993 I fell off a scaffold due to cheap outriggers. I landed on my shoulder, damaged it and had three subsequent surgeries. Each surgeon assured me that he "fixed" my problem. No one ever did get it repaired. I went to therapy and learned about the "McConnel" taping method. I'm reasonably sure that's right. First, a layer of retention dressing is applied. Then a second piece of tape is fastened to the first and this piece is pulled up to help bring the shoulder into its proper position. The retention dressing is a "foundation" for the second piece of stronger tape that does all the work. The retention tape does not hurt the skin or affect it in any way. No more headaches, no more stiff, sore neck muscles. I know that this taping method is used on other ares of the body, but my problem was my shoulder. Here it is, nineteen years later and I still need and still use it. What a blessing!

These are the perfect size for five (5) low dose aspirin (81 mg), anything larger and they will not fit. There is an inner plastic container with a cap that fits in the aluminum casing. You can fit a larger size tables if you remove the inner container as long as it is close to the inner diameter of the aluminum casing. The inner container keeps the smaller tablets from rattling around and breaking themselves apart against the aluminum. The container has a rubber O ring sealing the top to the bottom, so it is waterproof, and the key chain ring on the top is perfect to attach top your key ring. Perfect for holding 5 or 6 ibuprofen tablets. I now have coworkers coming up to me at the first sign of a headache because they know I'll always have some on me! Very handy. The case is also small enough to not cause any discomfort while in my pants pocket.

These are SUPER small. A single regular Tylenol capsule (not gel cap) will barely fit into the interior capsule. If ur lucky enough to have uber small meds then this is the bomb. Most pills, gel-caps, etc. will not fit. My meds are to large for this, so it's kinda useless for me. Stocking stuffers next year, right. Haaaaha. Especially the festive red & green ones. xcept...who wants to think bout their meds while checking their xmas stocking. ;-/

I ordered these after losing a plastic water tight pill capsule that I've had for years. Loved it because plastic doesn't conduct heat as much as aluminum and is quiet & lite in the pocket. I thankfully also order the medium ones available on there. But, man-oh-man it's big. Sure wish there was an inbetween size like my old one. This product is great. I used to carry Anxiety medication with me in wallet and it would always turn to dust. I purchased this kit as a starter kit and it fit the bill perfectly. It comes with everything you will need to respond to most emergencies. I did add a few items that I thought were important also. I added a ambu bag, a SAM splint, a better tourniquet, some ACE bandages, and a few 1 gallon ziplock bags. I had a paramedic check out the bag to get his thoughts on what else I could use and he said that the set-up that I had rivaled some of the trauma kits that the full time EMTs carry. This is a very through kit for the price. I am only certified as a first responder, so this has everything that I need for my level of education.

I just finished EMT training, and was looking for a great starting medical kit and a decent bag. This kit has it all, huge assortment of items and everything an EMT needs to get started. The bag is good quality, tough and durrable, waterproof bottom, and opens easily. However, the divides inside the bag that seperate compartments tend to be troublesome, often shifting too much and collasping unintentionally. This is my only complaint though. Overall, this item was above and beyond what I was expecting. Items contained are vast in number, and contain almost everything basic life support requires. I would advise adding more gloves (only comes with 1 pair), perhaps a BVM, maybe a C-collar, and additional splints. Great product!

I am an Emergency Medicine resident about to start my final year. Needless to say, I've been through my fair share of trauma shears. I've had the lowly drug rep shears to the run of the mill medical supply store shears, to the titanium shears my residency provided, and finally got these.

I can say without a doubt, these things are the best. They will cut through anything you'll ever need in a trauma. Any piece of clothing is destroyed by these babies. It will cut through jeans, double layers of clothes, and even belts (sorry whoever's belt I destroyed). I've been using them for about a year now without any noticeable drop in performance. I've let people borrow them and each is amazed at how great they are. I just made sure that they gave them back!

They look nice too. All black. A real eye catcher. Throw this in with your all black Littmann stethoscope, and you'll be styling in the trauma hall. People may gripe that they are $13. That is a little pricey for trauma shears. But I feel they are well worth it. You won't be buying a new set any time soon.

After cutting off a dozen or so pairs of jeans off of patient's they get dull and there is no way to keep them sharp. Not able to sharpen them makes it a drag because you have to just buy more. I had an old role of transparent tape from work hooked on my hemostat; it probably has a lot of MRSA/VRE on it by now, so I gave the scissors a try and, as the video shows it can cut through about a 1/4" of tape. It wasn't too hard; I know my meat scissor would not do that. My first video was of the first cut through the role, but it was too shaky so I propped my phone up this time, hope it turned out ok. I'm satisfied with them, but would not pay full price.

I am a Paramedic working on an ALS ambulance. I respond to approximately 1,200 911 calls annually. These shears feel a bit cheap and certainly did not last any longer or cut any better than any other knockoff or cheap brand I have used in the past 7 years of working in EMS. i ordered this product about a week ago because i have a multitude of injuries. after researching the anatomy of my problem areas and watching videos, i used it. put it on my hip at about 10AM, went through class, work, rugby practice, and then a shower. only rolled a little bit on the ends when i put on my jeans in the morning a bit too rough. i am thoroughly impressed with this product. i believe if it is applied correctly it will last the full length the company advertises it to.
