This is a single threaded needle and is very overpriced. For $13.50 from AD Surgical I received 12 silk sutures with needles. The term "suture kit" is misleading in that it does not come with hemostats or any other items. I do not recommend this product due to price, item description and shipping time/cost.

This is simply a suturing needle attached to 18 inches of mono-filament. There are no instructions, no booklet, and no other information. One (1) item, hardly a "kit". At the price, a pair of sterile gloves would have been a plus. Not what I expected at all and especially at the exorbitant cost. It is sterile so that is a benefit.

People are complaining, but it's their own fault. If you read the description, it clearly states "For use with Life/form® Suture and Stapling Practice Trainers (LF01028U, LF01034U)." AND " Med Student Suture practice packet of the most commonly used suture"

This is for practicing, not actual use, so it doesn't deserve a 1 star. Its the lack of attention by those who purchased this item that is at fault, not the product.

Also, I have not purchased this product.
