Flents Flents First Aid Finger Cots
I would have rated the Flents First Aid Finger Cots much, much lower but one star was the lowest that I could rate them. I bought these assorted finger cots from the local Walmart because this was the only brand available. I tried to put one on my finger to protect a cut and the cot would not even roll up as depicted in the picture on the box. The cot will not roll up no matter how you put it on your finger or how hard you try because after a few attempts, the cot tears. I went through several, different sizes, thinking my first one was defective but none would roll up my finger and they all ended up tearing. I had to toss the remaining cots in the trash because they're absolutely WORTHLESS! Please try another brand, this one is a waste of good money.

Quite necessary to be prepared in a hurry in the event of an emergency. I purchased this kit to get me started in the right direction. I may add some personal stuff just for my little guys but this kit has what is needed should an urgent situation arise where you need to grab something quickly and go. The only thing I was not happy with was the bag a duffle bag would have worked better so that if you wanted to add some things it would be easy; with the bag they provided you would have to throw the kit into a large bag with anything else you wanted to include. I am very satisfied over all with my purchase.

I found this product a little lacking. Due to a personal emergency I left this kit behind for my dog and it seemed to be of only the most limited use. My dog's lack of opposable thumbs made it nigh impossible to get most out of this kit. It was able to tear open some of the packets, but the water purification packets, first aid kit, poop bags, and decals went completely unused. To top it all off, it ate the lightsticks leaving glow in the dark scat everywhere. My favorite Band-aids were the Ultra Strips. I needed some more and could not find them available from Amazon anymore. I noticed these new Dryfit Band-aids and thought they looked similar on the package picture so I thought that I would give them a shot. After getting them they seem to be the same thing with a new name. I am not sure why that happened but I am happy to have the same/similar Band-aid that flexes well and stays around my finger through a shower. They also seem to stay on my kid longer than others too. I accidentally cut-off the tip of my finger. There was no skin left to re-attach or have stitches put in. My friend, who is an emergency room doctor, said to keep pressure on it and keep it elevated above my heart. The next day, when I changed the dressing, it was still bleeding. It was painful removing the bandage because it had stuck to my wound.I went to a local drugstore and saw this product and gave it a try. I could not believe how well it works. Its a dark colored powder that you pour onto your open wound. Then apply pressure for 30-seconds. It forms an instant scab over the wound so it can heal. It stings for about a minute (reaction from all those nerve endings in my wound) but other than that, the relief is immediate. Next, cover with a non-stick bandage pad, tape and you're done. No more bleeding, no more throbbing, no more pain from the injury.
It has been 10-days since I first applied the product. I only used about 1/2 of one of the four packets. My wound has got wet several times since I applied the product and it has not affected the scab. I change the bandage daily. No pain, no infection. It is healing beautifully. Clipped the tip of my left ring-finger off while slicing a bell pepper. It bled like crazy, but was able to stop it with tightly wrapped bandaids. The next day I removed them in order to change the dressing, and it started to bleed again. Went to Walgreens and found WoundSeal. When i got home I removed the bandaids and immediately used WoundSeal. First, it stings insanely for the first twenty seconds or so, but even then, more than "light pressure" was needed to stop the bleeding, and it was NOT "instant' as they claim, and it took three packets to work. However, it did eventually stop the bleeding and it set like an artificial scab.I am not totally impressed, but $10 is better than a $700 trip to the emergency room, or outpatient medical clinic.

There are lots of other sorter systems (I've tried many), including ones that look like the API trays, but this one is the most carefully thought-out to incorporate ease of use, common sense, clarity and practicality. They now make them in small, medium and large sizes.Years ago, after we'd been using the API tray for a while, I was not surprised to see it at an international exhibition for top life-saving designs at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. This is one of those things that looks so basic until you start thinking about what kind of consideration went into its planning.
It's features are the following:
--Easy to open and close indivual dosage compartments.
--Very boldly and clearly labeled with day and time of day on each individual dosage compartment, so you can avert mistakes. (After a couple of years of use, I have had to go over the lettering with a Sharpie sometimes).
--Easy and clear overall layout for sorting out a week's worth of a lot of meds.
--Each day is a single unit. If you're going out for the day or the weekend, just take the boxes you need. There's a circle cut out in the tray behind each day, and you can easily pop out the day's box with a finger or, if you're arthritic, an implement.
There's one "con": If you drop the tray, sometimes some the dosage boxes will open and pills will scatter. This is the trade-off for ease of opening and closing the boxes. API and others make pill sorters with lock mechanisms, but these are hard to open for some people. I don't have a problem, but my mother no longer has the strength or coordination to maneuver these. Anyone with arthritis wouldn't be able to handle either.
I love being able to easily remove one or more days of medication and take it on the go without having to take the entire week or having to find something else to transport the medications. And this unit has the Adult lock feature I was needing because any other kind of "locking" feature causes the pills to spill with the slightest bump. Would definately recommend this product!

I bought these plugs because I have several roommates, and they aren't always as courteous with their noise levels as they could be when I am trying to sleep. I also shoot recreationally. I chose these plugs because of their high dB reduction level, and their exceedingly reasonable price.Let me just say that after using them, I feel like I got a very, very, very good deal. They work exceptionally well. I couldn't hear my roommate talking (normal indoor voice) from 5 feet away. When I am in a different room, the only thing I hear is my breath and pulse. This tape is marketed as a medical tape but I use it for rock climbing. It is excellent for split fingers or for sore finger pads. It is super sticky and has tons of grip when climbing. It was recommended to me by my friend and it is the only tape I use.

This tape is great to apply to dressings that you don't want to get wet if applied correctly, it keeps the dressing under it completely dry. I have tried some off-brand products, but they don't stick as well as this tape.I bought this particular batch after my dog got a cut on her pad, and I had to bandage it daily for four weeks. This product was literally a life saver as she couldn't get the wound wet and even in the rain it kept the water off the dressing and her wound. I applied six strips over the dressing on her paw and it worked well to keep the water out. I would definitely buy again.

Oh i love these things there great although i use them for menstrual cycle instead of bladder leakage i found out about them cause i got a sample in the mail and it said pads so.... i guess i didn't read it correctly but it's the best pads i've ever used it's better than Always and other brands they never seems to stick long enough and doesn't cover the seat in your underwear well enough so for menstrual cycle use i would recommend it (Poise Hourglass Pads).Save 35% Off

Campho-phenique Cold Sore Treatment with Drying Action, 0.23-Ounce
A while back I got a fever blister. I bought this stuff because it says it will help dry it out, which is supposed to make it heal faster. I can't say I think it works for that purpose, since I have never witnessed time off healing from its use, however it serves one purpose for me. That purpose is to make the sore stop itching/burning/tingling/hurting so that I can keep my hands away from my mouth and let it be! For that reason alone, I give it 4 stars. I also take 3,000 mg of l-lysine at the first tingle of a sore and 1,000 mg as a second and third daily dose. That often heads it off or makes it less likely to get much worse and sometimes stops it entirely. Get natural lysine capsules (or powder, but it tastes horrible) because the tablets often have notoriously sharp, hard-to-swallow edges. I have heard that Melissa, also known as lemon balm is a good supplement for prevention/healing sores, as is zinc. Avoid nuts, red meat, chocolate, and other arginine-containing foods for a bit. They can make your cold sore situation worse during the time you're experiencing it. Anti-viral foods (such as garlic) can help too. Google yourself some research on the topic. Food can also be medicine, in addition to a good temporary remedy.Good luck!
