I love these pink gloves. I have been a health care worker for 9+ years and have worn all types of gloves. These gloves go on with ease, and don't have a "funny" smell to them. They are a bit expensive to buy in bulk, but worth it to buy them once a year for breast cancer awareness month!!

they work well in the kitchen and for cleaning. i also died my white hair wearing these and it makes spotting white hair so much easier as they are dark pink and they create a contrast... who would have thought! the first one did tear in the wrist area as I tried to put it on with more strength than needed but then i knew not to pull that hard next time. i can put them on without pulling so hard now. I have small hands (not long fingers) but not the thinnest of fingers so size Small was perfect for me. you can't use them again though. i guess that's the idea, they are disposable, but i feel very bad for the environment. 4 stars because they are not made of recycled material (actually 2-3 stars would be more appropriate just for this reason but since we are helping for breast cancer i gave it a four stars). I am recycling them after each use. the box was not in perfect condition when it arrived but i am not that picky. overall it's a buy!

I wear nitrile gloves more often than most people. Iam a nurse and am highly aware of hand contamination everywhere. The price is good for these. BLAZE orange gloves are thicker and a lot more expensive. I use black Nitrile gloves when I am shopping. Probably most people think that they are leather gloves. I keep a box i my car and 2 at work (not a clinical setting). I developed a Latex allergy. MY hands are not small but they are slender only small gloves fit correctly. COSTCO ad BJs do not always carry SMALL. Amazon variety is great. BLAZE quality is the best, but I do't like spending $17 a box.

These are fine for simple tasks. Addendum: these gloves ripped simply while I was putting them on. Too thin, too frgile.

DISPOSABLE EARLOOP FACE MASK BLUE 50/BX

I have a large yard to mow and collect leaves from and also suffer outdoor allergies even if the copious amounts of dust generated by these activities wasn't a problem all by itself. The molded masks just don't work for me. They are not sized and the one-size does not fit me--too big. Plus, I wear glasses for yard work instead of contacts because of the dust, and the molded masks fog them up so badly, I can't see, so I quit wearing a mask and suffered the consequences.

I began a search for an alternative and decided to try these. I'm really pleased with them. My glasses don't fog up as much, I like the ear loops better than the elastic behind my head and they aren't as hot as the molded masks.

There's a little wire inside the top so you can customize the fit around the bridge of your nose and this mask doesn't feel so confining. I feel I can breathe more freely. Also, the skin under this mask is apparently better ventilated since it doesn't get aggravated after long use as it did with the molded mask. Judging from the amount of dust sticking to the outside of the mask after use, I'd say it is doing the job well and I haven't had any allergy problems either. Highly recommended.

These masks were just what my wife needed. She is allergic to almost any type dust. These masks allow her to have a more rewarding time working in the yard with her flowers and plants. The mask itself was what I was looking for but the sizing was completely crazy. The ear loops would be too large for all but a giant man! I had to tie knots in each one to use them. I probably wouldn't buy this product again wihtout first finding one with small, medium and large designation.

Overall Impression:

These masks are very affordable (50 per box and can be reused following light use). In my experience, they are helpful against dust and pollen, but they have two significant limitations.

Background and Comparison:

I normally use the "Silk Comfort Mask by I Can Breathe!" to keep pollen and dust away, and I find them very effective for allergy control. These masks (the ones being reviewed) are much, much cheaper. They are less reusable than the silk comfort masks, because they cannot be washed, and the material itself is less durable. The ear loops are not designed to be adjustable, but they can be adjusted very easily by pinching them and tying knots.

Limitations:

These masks have two significant limitations. (1). The first limitation is that they get into one's eyes a bit. This is because of their rectangular shape if they had been trimmed a bit along the upper edge from the center toward the sides, then they would follow the contour of the cheeks and wouldn't get into one's eyes. (2). The second limitation has to do with the weak design of the adjustable nose piece. The nose piece is supposed to function as follows: you place and adjust the mask, and you then pinch the nose piece to seal the mask around the bridge of your nose. The nose piece is somewhat elastic and does not retain the pinched shape very well. As a result, not only will the mask touch your lower eyelashes and annoy you, but it may also leak air upon exhalation, which will cloud your safety or corrective eyewear. Furthermore, when air is leaking out, one can't be sure that air isn't also leaking in during inhalation.

Conclusion:

The masks seem to provide good protection against (spreading) the cold or flu viruses. They also help against pollen and dust. However, they must be adjusted and worn carefully, because the seal around the nose is poor. They are much more affordable than the better-fitting and more reliable textile masks.

This is an excellent item to have in any first aid kit. It's like super glue for the skin. It's a marvelous adhesive doctors use which allows the skin to bond to itself, eliminating the need for stitches. This will be great in an emergency situation.

I tried this about two years ago when I had more money and thought it worked great. I was living in a dry, sunny climate and it offered great protection and solid day-long moisture. I then tried a bunch of cheaper options trying to save money. None of them worked as well or lasted as long. A 1.2 oz jar of Mychelle Daily Defense cream lasted me 2 months and was super thick and I still had problems with my skin flaking off. This 1.7 oz lasted me a year and a pea sized blob covers my whole face. Another huge plus is that the sunscreen ingredient is titanium dioxide which some say is safer, I say is more effective than other sunscreen ingredients. Burn Free Emergency Burn Kit

I bought this kit via a live purchase, not online, but after recently having had to use it in a real burn semi-emergency, I simply must review it. At the time I was appalled at the price of a relatively small box with just these items in it. Now I think it was cheap at 10X the price! I've also purchased a bunch more of the small packs for my various other emergency kits at work, in the car and in my back pack.

The gel works by simply removing heat and halting the process of the burning. And it does it fast and very completely. It then also removes the pain and keeps the tissue supple so you don't rip off the damaged skin. That certainly lowers the risk of infection.

So how do I know?

I recently reached out and grabbed a bowl that had been in the oven. Both hands, full contact and then I couldn't just drop it because of the boiling liquid contents. Therefore I had to lower the bowl, albeit quickly, before I could remove my hands. All of my fingers had immediate burns and raised flesh, meaning blisters. And they were in serious pain.

I used my thumbs to open the box right in the emergency drawer next to the stove. I had to tear open the packet, and that was painful, but then blessed relief came as the gel came in contact with the skin. It was instantaneous. Within a minute or two the gel had already soaked in, indicating a significant burn and the pain started coming back so I finally got the bottle open and applied liberally. Again, relief. I reapplied several times over the next couple of hours but was amazed at how well this worked. Most of the blisters never really filled and some of the fingertips were just raw rather than blistered.

Yes, I did get some nasty blisters the shape of the rim of the bowl, but overall, it was far less than I would have expected. And, to top it off, the blisters went away really fast and seemed not as full. I can't recommend this product highly enough. It should be in every kitchen, handy and ready.

Micropore Medical Tape, White Paper - 3" x 10 yards

Just what we needed. Currently using and it works just fine. Nice that it comes 4 rolls to a box. Being used by person who is allergic to other types of tape. Easy to apply.

My "Wound Care" specialist recommended the 3M Micropore Tape for me since I am very sensitive to just about every other tape\adhesive that has been tried in the past. This has been a really good find as after two weeks of use I haven't had any reaction and my condition will likely require use of the tape for several more months.

The tape is strong and holds very well. I like that it is perforated and can be hand torn into convenient sizes at about 2" increments. Like all long term use tapes, it will leave some sticky adhesive residue on your skin when it is removed, but it is fairly easy to remove by gently rubbing the area with a warm dampened washcloth.

We also use 3M Micropore Paper Tape 2 x 10 Yds Box as well, with the same great results!

3M Micropore Paper Tape - Tan, 1" wide

I'm using the Curaderm BEC5 treatment to treat some sun spots on my face. At first I used the paper tape I bought at the drug store, it was white, not so porous, and easily lost hold of my face. When using overnight, I would find the paper tape bandages in my bedding and not on my face. The tape being white was very noticeable on my face and I got a lot of comments about how bad it looked and questions about what was wrong with me. To help me stay with the cure without all the notoriety and embarrassment I tried the Tan version of 3M Micropore paper tape. The tan color tape is much less noticeable on my face and some people miss it all together. The shear design is porous and my own skin color blends through the tan tape. The porous nature of the tape helps get air to the protected area and the tape really sticks--All night.

This tape seems excellent for it's original purpose. It is a good skin tone (though probably a little darker than my natural ivory) and is almost gauzy so it's thin and allows the skin to breathe.

I bought this to cover up a tattoo on my finger and behind my ears, so that's mainly what my review is about, sp disregard if this has nothing to dp with your purpose for buying it. It didn't work very well for tattoos. In the past I had worn regular medical tape, which works, so I thought I'd buy skin tone tape so that it's not so obvious. I had to use two layers to cover my tattoos because this tape is thin (so that it's breathable). When it got wet or damp it left goo on my skin. It worked alright behind my ears because it didn't get wet there and it didn't matter if I had two layers of it on. It came off easily and didn't pull my hair.

I gave this tape 5 stars because it is exactly as it is described and would be excellent as a regular medical tape.

After dealing with a very dangerous cellulits infection this summer I learned the value of proper first aid. For myself now I have to properly care for each and every cut that draws blood, even if only a paper cut.

Bandaids don't always hold in place in all situations, and sometimes you need something bigger than just a bandaid. This tape fills that need. And being able to buy it by the box made it economical to keep on hand.

Now if I have to put a bandaid on a finger or wrist, or some other not so smooth and stationary spot.. I can add some tape to help hold it in place. I heal quickly, if properly treated.. I bought this tape to use with Curaderm. Glad I did because it worked much better than the paper tape that I had. The skin cancer that I am treating is on the ear and it is hard for regular tape to stick properly. This stays until you take it off and because it is tan it is less noticeable. I have found a way to take the tape off that may make it less painful. Use a non-alcoholic based hand sanitizer. Dip a q-tip into the sanitizer and pull up a corner of the tape, keep rubbing the inside of the tape with the sanitizer as you gently pull to loosen it.

Firstly, be warned that this product tastes like chalk. I'm not crazy about having to take it three times a day. I did try it for a week, but the taste was so unappealing to me, that eventually I gave up. You're supposed to gently bite it, then let it absorb under your tongue.

Organic Root Stimulator Jojoba Oil, 5.5 Ounce

I have to disagree with the other reviewers. It did not left my hair greasy but well moistured. When I remove my rollers, I just put some in my hands and brush it in and voila. Well, everything can not work on everyone; but it worked for me. I just tried the hair lotion and think it is also a wonderful product. Some reviewers said that it is not organic but junk, I don't know about that but if it's junk, how come it works so well. I can imagine if it was really organic.

I know that this isn't pure organic jojoba oil, but that's okaybecause it definitely suits my purposes. I usually create lots of two strand twists with this oil after putting in a leave-in conditioner. When it's almost dry I unravel the twists and WA-LA my hair is shiny, moisturized and healthy in appearance. This is a good way for me to get a 'fro' that stands up properly, being that I leave the twists together near my scalp.. I wouldn't use this product for anything other than braid-outs/twists-outs because in order to get in on my hair I'd probably comb out all of the curls. I like this product! Don't use too much though, or your hair will be very greasy. I'd love to find an organic version of this with the same consistency.

Ladies, this product is excellent. I do not and would not use this everyday. But hear are some really good uses for this. Before any relaxer I always treat my hair and scalp with some kind of grease protectant. I was scracthing horribly and I based just 20 minutes before my relaxer with this and I got minimaal burning. I only felt a light tingle and that was when it was time to rinse. I must say that I did have a sensitive scalp relaxer applied. So, I also treat my hair with oil and then coat with this prior to relaxing. My hair comes out great and it decreases the overlap that happens with relaxers.

This is also good for natural pony tails. I use on my daughter's hair with water to form a nice sleek and shiny ponytail. She has natural hair. I have used it on my hair with water to pull back into a ponytail as well.

That is just a few of the uses that you can to with this product. One rater said that it is the equivalent of vaseline. I don't agree with that at all. It may share some properties as this has petrolatum in it and it is the first ingredient but it has more and does help the hair. I am not a fan of product that have petrolatum in them but I do use them for what the work for and the rest of the time I keep my hair and my daughter's hair moisturized by using oils such as olive oil, grapeseed oil. coconut oil, jojoba oils that are natural oils. Try to stay away from things that have cones as they can be drying and block moisture you try to put back in your hair.

We found really cute champagne bottles by Wilton, and were looking for something inexpensive to put in them for a lingerie bridal shower but everything smelled horrible bath salts, bubble bath, etc. We found these for $6.50 for 16 oz at K-mart. Unguentine Antiseptic Original Ointment improved formula 1 oz

Upon a friend's recommendation I added Unguentine to my medicine cabinet. And the first time I used it on a burn that I knew would be really bad it amazed me how mild the blister and pain turned out to be. Of course the healing was way faster too.

I've always wanted to use it on a smaller section of a larger burn to see the difference but haven't tried it yet.

Unguentine Plus is anti infection too. Never tried Unguentine Maximum Strength. Guess Plus has always been enough for my 3rd degree and lesser burns from electric stoves, wood stoves, and camp fires (mostly on the back of hands and on forearms).

The one burn from a lawn mower muffler was a good reminder of why I should keep Unguentine in the truck too; that and don't load a lawnmower by bear hugging it to pick it up. That burn would have been big enough for my experiment... Oh well, next time.

This is an age-old product that has never been surpassed for immediate relief from pain for many minor injuries. Have been an avid user for 40 years. Was happy to find Amazon.com carries this product as it is difficult to find.

My family has been using Unguentine since the very early 1900's. I have had some severe burns in my lifetime and this product has always helped me get through them. Initially it stings slightly when you first apply it, but the pain goes away very quickly. My mother always kept unguentine in the house and since I had kids and they use it also on all their little cuts and burns, I keep several tubes around the house for them. And although the price is almost 3 times the amount it was when the product was distributed through US Dermatologics, Inc, I definitely would recommend this product to anyone with a burn or even road rash.

Unguentine is one of the "I can't live without" things in my life. I'm 70 years old, and my mother used it from the time I was in grammar school or high school. She swore by it, and I still do. My daughter used Unguentine for bee stings and mosquito bites when her children were young. Amazing. For burns, there's nothing like it, especially for the price. Like so many other things, we can no longer buy it locally. Thank goodness for the internet and Amazon.

Almost 20 years ago, I had a child with eczema, who had frequent diaper rash. Nothing would touch it. Tried prescriptions. He was allergic to half the products with baby scents. His skin was oozy and bleeding and frequently infected. Then, my mom suggested Unguentine. Saw marked improvement in ONE DAY! As an alternative to my boy's constant misery, it was a godsend. I would not use it for all diaper rash, as it seems like strong medicine. However, on resistant rash that is a constant infection risk and pain generator...I would use it again on grandkids in a heartbeat. For us, it was a miracle.

Advil Tablets Pain Reliever Refill, 50 Two-Packs per Box

This package contains 50 packets with 2 Advil tablets each. The order we just received has expiration dates printed on the packets 15 months in the future, so they're also fairly fresh.

I bought these to keep in my two cars. As a guy (who does not carry a purse...) I got tired of never having any if I got a small headache while I was out running errands. I think the individual packets will allow them to with stand the climate changes that occur by being left in the car 24/7.

They came in 50 packs of 2 advil each. The expiration date was about 14 months away.

The only problem I have with these are some of the packs are very difficult to open. I understand childproofing...But I literally have to use scissors on a couple of them.

Overall, these fit my needs and I will buy this same item again when I need more.
