I first tried these ear plugs because they were provided in my law school for exam purposes and I absolutely fell in love with them. I tried a variety pack from another company after not liking what I found at local stores.

My neighbors dogs were driving me crazy and was desperate.I tried Hearos,Macks,Flents.

Then I bought the variety pack and found out of the 14 pr.these were near the top.

Most of the Howard Leight.s preformed well.These were not the best of the lot at noise reduction.

They were the most comfortable to wear while sleeping and the noise reduction was plenty for my needs.

Proper insertion is key for any foam plug to work to full benefit.I would urge you to watch a youtube video on how to insert.

I'm a light sleeper and need earplugs to block out refrigerator noise and other annoying machine hums. These are absolutely the most comfortable ear plugs of all that I've tried, and they do a great job of blocking out both low and high frequency hums. The only thing that's odd about them is that when you use them on a plane, all the noise goes away EXCEPT for the conversations of fellow travelers! So, great for sleeping, but not to block out conversation.

Note that there's a trick to inserting these, and all foam earplugs. Roll the plug tightly between your hands to compress it, then insert into your ear with one hand, while with the other hand you pull up on your ear to straighten the ear canal. Sounds ridiculous, but this will really give you a snug fit and more comfort.

You'll have no choice after cracking one of these puppies and waving it under your noise. This is the brand that the nicer hospitals I've worked for used to use. The one's in the green pack were the ones used at the...less nice hospitals. I didn't notice a difference between the two as they both knocked everybody back when we cracked them for a fainting patient. Now what do I use them for? For waking up when I need to get a project done and need just a little more time to do it in. Drinking coffee at this time ends up keeping me up later than I need to and then messes up my sleep schedule. It has the nice benefit of waking up everyone else in the vicinity, which is why I ask if anybody objects to it before I do. I did some research on the effects of the inhalants and couldn't find any side effects of using them in this proportion, other than irritation of the mucous lining in the nasal cavity for some. This doesn't happen for me, but I have seen about half the patients squeeze their nose a couple times after around 10 minutes of being woken up (other than the initial squeezing of the nose after initial use). Am I suggesting that you use them for this reason? Absolutely not. Especially not without talking to a physician and then getting a second opinion from a second doctor. I bought this kit when we were preparing for our son's arrival and I didn't know what I'd need to have on hand. He's now three months old and we've used a handful of the items -the aspirator, the forehead thermometer, the digital thermometer, the nail clipper and the nail files. I was particularly glad to have the health-related items on hand when we suspected our baby might be sick or congested late in the evening.

I have no complaints about the quality of the components, and I imagine we'll go on to use other items (hair brush, toothbrush, teething ring) within the next several months. I don't think we'll need the syringes, since most medications come with their own, but I guess they don't hurt to have.

Have bought One Touch strips from Amazon suppliers before and have been very satisfied, but this last purchase from Deep Discount Center arrived with one container open and contaminated. The rest of the containers were almost expired. They will be expired before I can use them. I won't purchase from this supplier again.

I have used this brand for a couple of years and have purchased them both from the pharmacy (covered by Medicare, now) and from Amazon (from a different merchant). My first purchase from Amazon was entirely satisfactory and I am giving the test strips a three star rating because of a problem with the last strips I ordered. They must have been miscoded or damaged by the summer heat while in transit; they consistently gave readings (on the same meter at the same time) 10 to 20 or more points higher than the strips from the local pharmacy-and yes, I correctly coded the meter when I changed strips. Since I have type 2 diabetes, I went ahead and used them, with the understanding that the readings were high. This could cause a serious problem with someone with insulin, however. I hesitated to give these a lowered rating, but feel that this is an issue that purchasers should be aware of.

Westone was recommended by our Audiologist. I wish there was more details in the product description. What we really want to know is the inside dimensions. Inside diameter is 1.8" (46mm), inside depth without drier disk and pad 1.42" (36.2mm) with drier disk and pad about .79" (20.2mm). Hint the container size is about the size of a 1/3 of a cup measuring cup. Since measuring size differ verify diameter. Drier disk diameter is 1.75" (44mm) drier disk height about 0.67" (17mm). Westone makes a much taller container P/N 93217, same inside diameter but has a inside depth of 3" (77.5mm) without drier disk and pad. My daughters hearing aid just fits into the shorter drier, but it's a very tight fit. The silicon is contained in a disk. The disk can be dried using a microwave oven.

This saver is smaller and so much easier to pack than the large dryer...it's great to have, especially for weekend trips.

J&J Red Cross Ultraheal Multi-Day Pads, 4-Count Boxes

My husband recently hurt his finger by peeling all the skin off it (almost down to the bone). It basically acted like a third-degree burn, since the wound had to heal from the bottom up to the skin. The J&J pads (though a bit pricey), along with a gentle wound wash, pain relief/antibiotic creme, and some tube gauze made a big difference in the healing process. The pads come in a variety of sizes (though I did have to cut ours down a bit, to fit around his finger correctly), and are easy to apply. The hydrogel padding that goes over the wound works well, wicking away the weeping moisture at the beginning of the wound recovery. The adhesive works well too, keeping the bandage on the finger, but making it easy to remove as well. No messy adhesive residue to remove! In my husband's case, we made sure the finger stayed rigid during the healing process, by adding a few layers of tube gauze over the bandaged finger, then using a J&J waterproof tape to hold everything in place. The wound took about a bit over a month and a half to heal, but I think that's quite a bit faster than it would have been using other methods.

Johnson & Johnson has a great product in these pads, even if you have to pay a bit more. It's cheaper than going back to the doctor's office to have they re-apply a dressing!

If you want a burn to recover quickly and leave minimal scarring you use 2nd Skin. If you want a scrape to recover quickly you use these pads. Keeping a wound moist after cleaning it until healed is the fastest way to a full recovery (do the research if you hav doubts) and this pad allows exactly that to be accomplished while protecting yur hand from outside contaminents. It is not a miracle, but rather a good design that "tricks" your body into thinking it has a scab so it can heal faster with less scarring. This should be the go to product if you scrape your hand. It works well on deep scraps too, as that is my most recent use for them. I wrecked my dirt bike and the ground tore through my glove taking a lot of skin with it on my hand. These pads have increased the rate of healing greatly and allowed the wound to stay mosit, preventing the limitation and worry tha comes with a dry scab that can crack. Honestly, if you want the heal in the best manner possible, these are what you should be using.

4 days ago I took a tumble on my motorcycle and came away with a sore knee with road-rash. My leg and knee hurt like you won't believe and for 3 days I did the regular Neosporin and non-stick gauze (yea right for non-stick) and Vicodin for the pain.

Last night I remembered that a while ago I had a palm-sized burn wound, and my friend put one of these Advanced Healing pads on it, and told me to leave it on until it came off by itself, at which time, I applied one more and by that time the second one came off, the wound was healed.

This is supposed to stream water from the shower head and the hand held. Well, it does not. The stream, when splitting the water between the two, is awfully weak and scant amount of water comes out. It is currently used only as a head shower. I would toss this out as soon as I find a decent shower/hand held combo.

Easy to install, easy to use, and gives a strong, usable stream of water on all settings even lower pressures. The unit is simple, the valve is easy to work, and I would get another if I ever need it.
