Unfortunately, this device stopped working after the third time I used it -the lights on the outside of case just wouldn't turn on at all, (which shows that it's operating), even after I took out the disinfecting light inside the case and turned it around, according to the "help" info. enclosed. Before that, I had to press the "on" button several times, with the outside lights flickering on and off, before they'd stay lit and I knew the machine would stay running through the night. Apparently, there have been a lot of returns on this new Global II model, due to the faulty light. The Dry and Store company was good about sending me a free replacement. However, within a few days, the same problem -no lights. They returned it free of charge, then sent out the older model, the Dry and Store Global (a rectangular shaped box, not rounded at corners), and it worked for two weeks, but now the lights don't turn on. Needless to say, I'm totally fed up with these machines, after trying three times, and spending lots of time talking with customer service, plus arranging for the returns. And to top it off, when they checked the devices I'd returned, they said that they were working fine. I suggested that they give them a field test to duplicate my experience, i.e. -run it 8 hours at night, for several days, or even two weeks, to see if then it stops working, like it did for me. I haven't heard back from them since, and I'm just giving up, don't have anymore time to waste with this. IMPORTANT: there's a two-year shelf limit on the unopened Dry Briks which are required to insert inside the machine for the drying work to happen. However, this information isn't clearly marked on any of their literature, nor is there an expiration date stamped on the Briks. I requested that the manufacturer start printing this expiration date, to protect the consumer, but I have never heard back from them. After two more attempts following up on this, I've also given up on that.

I've now decided to use one of the humidifier storage jars made by another company, that doesn't require electrical activation: "Super Dri Aid Hearing Aid Dehumidifier", available on Amazon. Haven't received it yet, but it gets great reviews, has been around a long time, and is much less expensive!

This was recommended to me by my audiologist and so far I couldn't be more pleased. I have definitely noticed improved performance in my hearing aids and I'm hoping that it will pay for itself by not blowing my amplifiers every few months.

I've tried Skeeter Stik in the past, but the store I went to tonight didn't have it. Picked up one of these instead. The product barely comes out of the tube and the little bit that I got out didn't even stop the itch once it had dried. I'm going back to Skeeter Stik and will never look at Benadryl's version again.

I bought this for an occasional mild allergic skin reaction. It seems to work about half the time I use it. And every once in a while, it seems to make itching worse. On the positive side, application is very convenient. I had the same problems as others initially getting the product to dispense, until I figured it out (you can't get it going well if you're pressing the applicator against soft tissue). To get it to work: press firmly down on any bony protuberance (e.g., a knuckle, a wrist, an ankle) several times to get the product started. Then, just apply to where you need it! That part works like a charm.

We had this in our medicine cabinet and after fishing one day I noticed I got tons of bug bites near my ankles. They itched like crazy. Now I use this stuff everyday and they are already settling down. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of how it's applied. It's like a deodorant stick kind of like the ones with the balls that twirl around. It takes forever to get it out. You have to push down on it, so some comes through the top and then apply it. It doesn't seem like much is applied, but it still works after putting it on. Within 10 minutes or so, there is no more itching at all. I highly recommend this.

I bought this because my daughter had a bug bite on her forehead and was complaining about how itchy it was.

The dispense mechanism is a little bit odd, so I practiced on my hand, in the end I decided not to put in on her head because it would require me to push on her bug bite quite a bit, and she might complain more.

Fast forward to a few hours later and my hand was super itchy, upon examination I could see a little bit of a rash developing, it's been a week now and I still have this rash, it has traveled up my forearm and I am very uncomfortable. I can't believe that something that is advertised to stop the itch produced such a foul reaction in the opposite direction. It seems like this has not been everyone's experience, but if you have the least bit of sensitive skin I DO NOT RECOMMEND this!

These "bandaids" are the best. My husband uses a CPAP machine, and until we engineered a little bandaid help, he'd develop an ugly, painful pressure ulcer on the bridge of his nose.

We are never without arnica in this house. I even carry pellets in my purse. Arnica is used for bruising, or any bruised feeling (such as after a way-too-intense workout). If the gel is applied immediately upon injury, there is a good chance you won't even bruise at all. And I give pellets by mouth as well, although I must mention that the directions always call for taking multiple pellets on a set schedule. This is not homeopathic prescribing. I was charged 2 charges in the first month and 2 more charges appeared 2 months later for the same pillows. After countless times of my gf telling me that I snore, I felt really bad. Did everything I could after researching about snoring on the internet. Hansaplast Disney Princess Kids Plaster Strips

Now I have to preface this review with the disclosure that I haven't used these exact "plaster strips" by Hansaplast. But I have two other types of bandages by Hansaplast that I bought when I was in Aruba last year. Had my husband & I realized how great they would be we would have bought lots of them to bring back to the U.S. with us. My favorite are the kind that you cut to the size you need. Those are without a doubt the best bandages I have ever used. The other bandages I got in Aruba are Hansaplast brand but are "normal" bandages (meaning you don't cut them), and they are also great. I am clumsy and often get cuts and bruises that I never know how or where I got them. I have bought plenty of bandages in my lifetime always searching for the ones that will work better than the previous ones I bought. My fingers are where I use them the most. And since I am a compulsive hand washer I need bandages that hold up to repeated hand washings. This brand does. I have used them so frugally because I didn't want to run out of them. I can't figure out why the manufacturers of brands that are sold in the U.S. can't make a better product. My guess is that they make a lot more money selling less quality bandages when people like me have to keep buying more because I replace them multiple times per day! I decided to look online again to see if I could buy any in the States and found these. And I am buying them! I don't care that they are the Disney Princess Kids bandages. I told my husband that we just may have to take another trip to Aruba or go to Europe just to stock up on all the different kinds of Hansaplast plaster strips! It'll be a lot less expensive though to just take a day trip across the border to Canada which is a hop, skip, and a jump from here. I see on the Hansaplast website that their products are available there, too. Maybe we can fit that into our summer agenda. I can't believe I just wrote such a long review for bandages. Summer Infant Complete Nursery Care Kit

This is definitely the set to get. It includes everything you'll need for baby well care in a convenient storage pouch. I tend to leave things all over my house but with this kit I never have to search for tiny items. All of the pieces I've tried so far work very well also. The clippers are my favorite since they are very easy to handle. The scissors work for nails as well. The brush is excellent....very soft bristles for my daughter who doesn't have much hair yet. Nail files and alcohol swabs are nice extras. The bulb syringe works better than the one from Gerber that I have and the thermometer was a cinch to use as well. I have yet to use the medicine dropper or water temp taker but I doubt there is anything wrong with those items. I also have to wait for my daughter's teeth before I test the toothbrush but it's nice that I have everything handy already. I love this set and keep it clipped on my nursery cart. It also comes with a useful book on taking care of your baby. Definitely the best kit with the most baby essentials.

I suppose first-time parents think that this is the best collection of baby necessities available! But, what first-time parents don't realize is that you'll get the most important of these things from your hospital when you leave after having baby! I've volunteered and had children at several hospitals in several states, and the going-home kit always included a nasal aspirator, a little brush and comb set, a bunch of alcohol wipes to care for the umbilical stub, a shampoo scrub brush (not included in this set, but fabulous, especially for cradle-cap babies), and a little baby nail clipper. What's included that is unnecessary:

emery boards/scissors: baby's nails stay soft for most of the first year, to the point that you can just peel off the overgrown part of the nail easily, without having to contend with a wriggling baby in one arm and a sharp implement in the other hand

medicine dropper/spoon: should your baby require liquid antibiotics, the medicine will come with a syringe-type applicator, which you place into baby's mouth and then press the plunger to dispense. Use a spoon? Baby will swat it out of your hand and you'll have pink and white stains everywhere. Use a medicine dropper? Very slow and you have to keep refilling the bulb. Your baby's meds will come with the dispenser, so these are unnecessary.

temperature tester: very very inaccurate, especially since babies are still not quite self-regulating when it comes to body temperature.

digital thermometer: do yourself a favor and register for an ear thermometer. It will last much longer -years! -and can be used for an older child as well as a wriggly, sick baby. Believe me, baby will not quietly say AH and put the thermometer in his mouth when he feels awful... and just try putting it in the other way!

toothbrush: bristles are NOT recommended for children under 2. Instead, toothbrushes that have rubber tips/points are recommended, to massage teething gums and be gentle on new baby teeth.

Don't waste your money buying this kit. Get what you can as a gift fro your hospital, invest in a good ear thermometer, and get one of the sets of grow-up-with-baby toothbrushes that "at a baby store"

This is a very useful set in a handy carrying pouch. Although I haven't used all the items on my newborn baby yet, it's good to know that I'll have the tools available when I need them. The nail clippers and nail files have been the most useful so far (my baby is 2 1/2 months old). And I also use the hair brush frequently. The set also includes alcohol packets (for the baby's belly button) but I had plenty from the hospital so I never used them. My only complaint is the nail aspirator. The length of the tube is very short (compared to one I received at the hospital) and the bulb is difficult to compress, so I find it difficult to get a good suction when I need to clear her nose. Otherwise, I highly recommend this item its a handy set for the price!

This Nursery and Bath Care Set contains a number of highly useful baby items stored in a case that's compact and sturdy enough for regular travel. Our son recently turned two and we still have the kit on-hand for almost daily use.

The best items include

* the well-designed medicine spoon: It stands upright on its own so you can pour liquids into it and see how much you've dispensed; the guidelines are metric on one side and English on the other; the spoon itself is sized well for baby with little to no mess

* the nail clippers: Big handle for sure gripping while holding a potentially squirmy customer

* the bath thermometer: Much more accurate than so many other bath toys that try to do double duty as a thermometer).

The most disappointing component was predictably the thermometer. It's a pretty simplistic digital model that needed to be held in place too long to get very accurate readings from a baby. My wife and I use it ourselves and it works fine. If your baby tends to get a lot of fevers, invest in a high-end ear or forehead thermometer for the best combination of accuracy and speed. The toothbrush is also not very helpful because by the time baby is ready to begin brushing, he or she will want a less clinical-looking model with a smaller, softer head than this one has.

One note on the negative review at the top of the page: maybe everyone should move to Ann Arbor, MI before delivering because the hospitals and pharmacies are much more liberal with their giveaways there. We loved our hospital experience, but our parting gifts consisted of a bulb aspirator (which wasn't as nice as the one in this kit), a pat on the back and a "have a nice day now". Leaving the hospital and coming home with a newborn, especially your first, can be an unbelievably hectic time I wouldn't want to rely on the possibility of freebies to help us take care of our baby.

Given the low cost of this kit, it's well worth knowing that you're prepared to come home with your newborn. And the Nursery and Bath Care Set will continue to pay off with its travel convenience and useful contents for years to come.

The first rule is not to get burned. However, working with a number of hot hobbies including a Fisher wood-burning stove in the workshop, accidents do sometimes happen.

This Burn Gel has appeared in my Amazon.Com recommendations for months. I've ignored it each time. I've walked around with ice packs strapped to some medium-rare chuck of flesh for years, why change now? Why are men so stubborn and reluctant to change?

Hot mufflers on motorcycles hate me. In fact, most hot things do.

It took a cast-iron skillet in my favorite Mexican restaurant to convince me to change my errant ways. The tantalizing aroma and sight of SIZZLING chicken fajitas captured my eyes and caused my stomach to kick my brain under the table. I missed the big padded handle and grabbed the skillet.

The server always warns of a hot skillet when he places it on the table. It was not his fault.

In one ear and out the other. Another dominate male trait in my family.

The pain instantly vanished. The most amazing thing was the healing. Burns have always left scars on me. This time, there was no scar. It's been two weeks and the burn is barely visible. I am 100% sold on this product and am ordering more for every vehicle emergency kit and workshop location. Keeping one of the tiny sealed packets in my pocket at all times might be a good idea.

Water Jel Burn Jel is a topical cooling gel that is an absolute must have component to any first aid kit for fast relief of first degree burns. A first degree burn is the least serious type of burn in which only the outer layer of skin is burned. The skin is usually red and can be very painful. Burn Jel contains Lidocaine and works by stopping the burning process, cools the burn, relieves pain, and prevents further injury.

Although each packet is 1/8 oz. it does spread well over a rather large area. For example, I used this on someone with a severe sunburn to her shoulders, back, neck and chest. Two packets provided complete relief from her pain and lasted for about three hours. I originally tried two other "burn products" to provide pain relief but neither was effective. The relief from Burn Jel was immediate and will be my "go to" for treatment of minor burns. Burn Jel will be in my first aid kits and EDC gear.

I highly recommend Burn Jel as it provides highly effective and fast relief from minor burns. The packets are small and convenient to carry in your first aid kit. Five stars does not do this product justification! Hopefully you will never have to use Burn Jel but you should have it handy in case it is needed.

Curad Sensitive Skin, 3/4 Inches X 2 1/2 Inches, 30 Count

Chain drug stores in my area, such as CVS, no longer carry Curad products. They are excellent products, especially flexible fabric and aqua protect bandages. Curad is the only brand that does not cause an allergic reaction when it touches my skin, and the adhesive is long-lasting. Aqua protect is excellent for anyone who washes his/her hands several times each day.

This is the only brand of bandages that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. They still stick just as well as the other guys, too.

I am very disappointed with this product. My skin is extremely sensitive to adhesive on band-aids and tape used to secure gauze bandages. Yes, the "innovative adhesive" on the 2 side portions extending away from the pad of this product did not bother me. However, the portions of adhesive above and below the non-stick pad left red raised welts on my skin. At this point I can't even put the other kind of tape over those welts. I'm curious why those parts of the adhesive were not the same as the side portions.

As one gets older, the skin sometimes becomes thinner. Removing a bandaid can be quite painful. Curad Sensitive Skin bandages can easily be removed without any pulling of skin, any redness, or pain. Retail stores no longer carry these bandaids and are no longer able to special order them for me. I'm grateful to be able to purchase them on line.

Flents Flents Ammonia Inhalants

For anyone who has ever fainted or passed out, these are great. Just a sniff and the person comes back to consciousness.

Medical personnel use them but they are hard to find in drugstores or health stores. It was great to find them on Amazon and will continue to order them when needed. Everyone should have these on hand in case of an emergency.

In my estimate, these are a little sub-standard. Not as thick as others I've tried. I did not return it because it is what they said it was but the quality is not there. I will not purchase this specific item again.

This single-layer gauze is woven from thin, stretchy synthetic fibers. If you want to wrap around several times without adding bulk, this may be the product you want.

However, if you were looking for something absorbent and bulky to cushion a wound, keep looking. This product is nothing like Kerlix (that multilayered, loosely woven, cushiony-stretchy cotton gauze you might have encountered in an emergency room).

In the spirit of "buy it now, or spend way too much later," this is one of the items that fit the bill. These are sterile, very portable rolls of gauze...that are very inexpensive when compared to what is available in drugstores.

Combined with First Aid Only 1/2" X 5 Yd. First Aid Tape Roll, 20-Count Boxes, you can throw some of these rolls (which are individually packed) and a couple tape rolls in a first-aid kit as I have done, or a glove box, backpack, etc.

Plus, this is good to have around the house. Figure if you're cooking dinner and you rest your arm on a hot frying pan (ouch!) This, the tape, and some First Aid Only First Aid/burn Cream Pack, 0.9 Gram, 25-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)...and you're doing pretty well for yourself, minus the smell of your own burning flesh.

This is not exactly what I ordered. I ordered Flexicon wraps that I've used many times before. These were not, got a little bait and switch going on here. These were a product MADE FOR a company called Dynarex.(That's exactly what it says on the lable I received)

They are single ply loosely woven and flimsy single ply which they forgot to mention. They are cheaply made. I like a thicker stronger woven wrap(6 ply).

I won't be ordering these again and won't be purchasing anything from BP Medical supplies again.

I didn't return them because of the hassle factor and it would cost more to send them back than they are worth.
