I had a wart cluster on my finger for six or seven years. Could not get rid of it. Then, while at my doctor's, he showed me how to scrape the skin away with a #15 blade scalpel before putting salycylic acid treatment on it. The #15 blade scalpel is great with its rounded edge and allows me to gently remove the skin in whatever angle I need. I had tried using razor blades, but couldn't get the control needed to safely remove skin without cutting myself. After ten or so treatments, the wart is gone! I can't believe I lived years with the stupid wart.

Betadine kills virtually all staph and strept germs that are present on the skin. It is the best single disinfectant to use on cuts, wounds, abrasions, etc. Betadine is iodine, 10% solution, so if you happen to be allergic to iodine, don't use this product (fortunately, iodine allergy is very rare). There are 100 swabs in this package, and the price is quite reasonable. I think every home should have 10% iodine as a part of an emergency kit. For maximum effectiveness, swab the area for about 1 minute, keeping it wet with iodine, air dry, and then cover with a bandage. Iodine will stain clothing, so be careful when applying it!

These swab pads are much nicer then the swab stick I have been using up until now. Badodine in general can be messy but these pads didn't drip when I pulled them out of the little packages and i was able to use one pad to wash both hands!

These little swabs are soaked with the betadine solution. The swabs are small. You know the little towlettes you get at some restaurants to clean your hands, these little swabs are about 1/4 as big. Like i stated before they are soaked with the solution so you probably do not need something bigger but just letting you know how small they are. Today is 4/29/13 and the ones i received have an expiration date of 09/2015 so i was satisfied with how long they will last. Bought a box of 100 so i put some in my first aid kit, some in my car and the rest will go in my bug out bag. Good product.

Betadine is an "ouchless" iodine solution used as a topical antiseptic. These pads are intended for cleaning the skin prior to injections, drawing blood, etc. so the pads are small. I buy them because they're great for cleaning and disinfecting any wound small and shallow enough not to need medical attention. A box of 100 is enough to keep some in the house, put some in the car's first aid kit, and put a few someplace else. (I keep a little first aid kit in my suitcase, and there are some Betadine pads in there, too.)

These have an expiration date that's about two years into the future, but they're sealed in foil and the solution itself is very stable. I'd be comfortable using one many years later so long as the pad is still wet.

I suffered from athlete's foot my entire adult life. One thing I noticed over the years however was that when I bought new shoes, my attacks were less frequent. But as soon as I put my old shoes back on, wham! Even if I hadn't worn my old shoes in many months I could count on an attack like clockwork. I couldn't find much info on this topic or a single product in the drug stores to treat it but I KNEW something was going on in my shoes.

After years of trying one product or another on my feet (most of which actually made my condition WORSE because they left my feet damp/clammy in my shoes), a doctor gave me a free sample of Tineacide. First trials seemed positive so I bought a couple of bottles and sprayed down ALL my shoes then Hallelujah!!! I have not had a single attack and it's been over 2 years now!! The best part is that I haven't needed any more spray in 2 years as well but I'm buying some more now just to go through my shoes once again.

One final note, if you are suffering from toenail fungus you will need more help than this product unfortunately as toenail fungus is definitely an "in your toe" problem (I had this as well) and my belief is that Tineacide works best for your shoes. Not sure how effective this stuff is on toenail fungus, so far I've noticed no major improvement. However I do believe I've found a great replacement product for Pepper Spray, this stuff will totally gag you, so be very careful where you spray your shoes or toes. Seriously it could replace Pepper Spray.

07/02/13 Update: I've been using the spray every night and it does seem to help my problem. Short of going to a doctor and getting some poison pill to kill the nail fungus, keeping it in check is the next best thing. I do have to spray in another room but that's no big deal.

This shampoo is the ONLY medicated shampoo that I can use and get the results I need and WANT! I used QuikClot on a gentleman who had been using aspirin and Plavix (anticlotting drugs). After a fall, his abrasions wouldn't quit oozing through the first bandages. The QuikClot stopped it right away, but I had to fumble around to gather gloves, bandages, etc. This kit is a great disposable solution to quickly deal with a bleeder. I got one for each car.

I ordered two Trauma Paks with QuikClot. The actual shelf-life of QuikClot is supposed to be three years. The two packages I received had an expiration date of about a year and a half from the time I received them. Not a huge issue, but I certainly would have liked to have received something a little "fresher".

3M Coban Self-Adherent Wrap - 4" x 5 Yards

I'm a runner with a tendon in my left arch that constantly pops out of place during my runs, and yes it's painful. This works great to hold the loose tendon in place. I've experimented with wrapping it directly on my skin and over my tight-fitting running sock. Both methods work well and are comfortable, but the over-the-sock method is just a little more comfortable and easier to remove (with a blunt scissors). Don't need much, just a foot or so to wrap around the rach.

3 of the 5 that I bought, the "sterile" packaging had come openhowever, like a review on j-tubes, they don't need to be sterileairways are far from sterile. I would prefer something going in my nose not be covered in crap, butit's not going into a vein, and if you are having one of these used, 99% chance you will be given antibiotics within a few hours. As for the products themselves, they are medical grade, and can be cut to length if needed. to be made more comfortable for a smaller person, petite female, etc.

My husband recently had a long bout of surgeries and hospitalization. He is home now, but has a lot of wounds that need care. This is the ONLY tape that I can use which does not irritate his skin. Thank heavens J & J makes this product.

this is paper tape so it is very gentile on the skin. This brand has the least sticky adheasive of the brands I have used, so it is perfect for me. If you need stronger adheasive paper tape type the 3M brand, the next step is cloth tape, but cloth tape is so sticky that it will hurt your skin.

I have tried all kinds of paper tape and I like Johnson & Johnson paper tape because it does release easily from the skin. The people I care for have very fragile skin and peeling off tape every day can really wear it out. This tape holds well (they are pretty sedentary) and releases easily. It's easier to replace tape on dressings than repair skin lesions.

Worst. Tape. Ever. Tried to use it to bandage a post operative wound on my leg. Doesn't sitck at all! I would have been better off using Scotch tape! Ridiculous.

This tape sticks securely to my skin, yet release at the end of the day. It does not stick well to itself, so you must take that into consideration when deciding how to use it. The 3M Nextcare tape does not release well and actually tore my skin when removing it. It also leaves adhesive residue on my skin.
