I have three products with me to test:Ergodyne Chill-Its,
Frogg Toggs Chilly Pad
Your Generic Paper Towels (Control)
Examination:
I tested all three with different parts of my neck. Paper Towels are okay, they still feel cool, since water absorbs heat like crazy. This is the control. However, after using Ergodyne and Frogg Toggs, I noticed that they were significantly cooler, since they stayed cool, where as Your Generic Paper Towels will stop being cool after a few minutes.
Anyways, Ergodyne when opened, smelt like gasoline, corn oil, or diesel. Fairly off-putting, I had to use soap and water to clean it. As of right now, (15 minutes later) the Ergodyne is less cool than my Frogg Toggs, suggesting that they evaporate water much quicker than Frogg Toggs.
In any case, when I opened the Frogg Toggs, it smelt as if someone wiped their...A** with it. Quite like if you had the mixture of manure and some sort of sour or expired milk. This was the most off-putting of smells. I still smell it faintly, even though it was washed with soap and water.
And Paper Towels? I don't think I need to evaluate them, since everyone can test with a paper towel.
Findings: All seem to be cool to the touch, but some are a bit cooler than others. Why? I assume that Frogg Toggs absorb and retain the most water, making them the most "cool".
#3: Paper Towels: Paper Towels are cool, but don't match up to the other two.
#2: Ergodyne: Not as effective as Frogg Toggs, but if you're hot you probably won't know/care about the difference.
#1: Frogg Toggs: The most effective, but Ergodyne's is a close second.
In short, this Ergodyne towel is nice and it works, but for ten dollars, I feel that I could just use some regular ol' towel for a much cheaper price. At least they don't smell.
Edit: And you could just buy a towel, because I used a new test, a damp shirt. After getting a splash of juice on it, I applied some water and soap. I then questioned the efficacy between a damp shirt and this towel. I then placed my towel near the stain. There was no real difference in temperature between this towel and this a wet shirt. In order to get this towel cold, I advise placing it in a fridge, or as a chilled/frozen plastic bottle water cover.
Update: If your towel starts to get warm, please grab the towel and spin it around in a circle. That'll make it cool again.

What a life saver. My apartment is on the top floor and is not air conditioned. We've been having humid, 100+ degree weather, and I would not survive without this towel. Yes, it's refreshing if you drape it on your neck or arm, but if you want your body temperature to plummet, here's what you do. Pour some cold water on it (refridgerated water, if you have it). *Barely* wring it out. This towel can be saturated and it still won't drip. Now drape the towel across your lap, or lay it on your chest/stomach. Better yet, lie down on it. You will be cold immediately. In fact, it might even be too cold for you! It works best when it's flat on your skin, which is why it's more effective to lay it on your torso or legs than it is to just drape it over your neck with a shirt on.Now, it's true that this is basically a glorified synthetic chamois, like you'd use to dry your car. It's a tiny bit thicker, but not by much. If you want to spend only $5 instead of $10, go down to your local auto store and see if they have one in the car cleaner section. You'll know it's the right material if it comes rolled up in a tube and packaged in its own plastic wrap. It's called "PVA" material.
In any case, buy this, or something like it. Chill-Its, Frogg Toggs, or a generic PVA chamois, you will find instant relief. I bought mine for $13 in the store, and I have zero regrets. I would recommend this in a heartbeat.I live in terribly hot/humid Florida. Just go outside and your breath is taken away because of the high humidity. So it's easy to understand how going to the gym or just taking a walk will make a person suffer. I've used this cooling towel at the gym and as long as I'm not in the steam room, it remains cool (almost cold to someone working out) and refreshing. I'm anxious to see how well it holds up to consistent use.

I thought this product fit well as I used it for travel to Asia. I had an extended plane trip (>18hrs) and I did get a slight red mark on my nose, which I think is very good for that long a period. It was comfortable and I think did a great job.Want 3M 1870 Surgical Mask N95 3M 1870 Surgical Mask N95 Box of 20 Discount?
My brother had the flu and we used these masks to successfully avoid contamination. Of course, frequent hand washing is also quite important, but he had a terrible cough and I'm sure he was spewing flu viral bugs into that mask. We wore one too. We like the way it fits. Very comfortable. Good Price. Timely delivery.Cosrich My Little Pony Bye-bye Boo-boo Therapeutic Ice Pack For Pain & Fever Relief (Pack of 2)
Bathtub transfer Bench/Bath Chair With Back, Wide Seat, Adjustable Seat Height, Sure Gripped Legs,
It comes unassembled, so putting it together does take some time, but not too bad. Basically screws washers and nuts. The handle can mount as shown in the picture, or also mount next to the chair back if you arrange the parts correctly (the mounting holes for the handle are pre-drilled on one pair of legs, but not on the other).
The recipient love it and feels safe using it.This is a dangerous product and probably should be subject to product recall. The leg height adjustments are buttons inserted into holes in the legs. These buttons are on the inside of the legs of the unit. When we used the bench, the buttons on the room side of the bench pressed against the shower curb and caused the outside legs to slide into their outer housing. This caused the room side of the bench suddenly to collapse and very nearly dumped my 80-year old wife on the floor. If there hadn't been two of us assisting, she certainly would have fallen. Needless to say the bench has been returned. The only positive part of the experience was the ease of returning the item to Amazon.com.I'm a paraplegic since 1980 and need a shower chair to help me in my daily life. My old shower chair seat unexpectedly broke (after more than 12 years) and I needed a replacement in a hurry and couldn't afford to buy anything expensive, so when I saw this chair for $47 I grabbed it. The quality of construction seems solid enough, although there was a bit of a problem with the hardware assembly as mentioned in other reviews. Specifically, the chair comes with short, medium, and long length bolts. There is only about 1/4" 5/16" difference between the medium and long bolts. The hardware supplied with the chair came with 2 too few long bolts, and 2 too many medium bolts. Luckily for me, I had other bolts in the house and didn't need to buy more or return this chair because of something so trivial. ***The seller should take note of this hardware issue and correct the problem for future buyers.***
The chair is OK for the most part, except for 4 issues (for me), only one of which is serious in my opinion. The minor issues are 1) that the chair teeters because of the slope of the tub vs. the level floor until substantial weight is put on the chair forcing all 4 legs to touch, and 2) the way the seat is designed, it's impossible to securely tuck the shower curtain into the space between the outer transfer panel and the seat panel (which can cause a wet floor outside the tub), and 3) that the side handrail should be adjustable height. The major issue for me with this chair is that the seat is the most uncomfortable of any shower chair I've ever used in 30 years. Because of my paralysis my butt doesn't have a lot of meat on it to cushion me, and the hard plastic textured seat is extremely hard on my skin. I tend to be slow in the shower, taking on average about 20 minutes. After the first use with no cushioning under my butt, my skin literally had red pressure marks for about 3 days.
The seat panels are constructed of hollow injection molded plastic with a rough texture. They could greatly improve the comfort of this chair by molding a "butt" impression into the 2 halves of the plastic seat panels to distribute weight more evenly and reduce pressure spots, but then it would probably cost more because all 3 seat panels would all be different. Closed cell foam padding on the seat would also help a lot. I still do use this chair, but in order to prevent sores I have to use both a folded towel under me, with a cheap air cushion on top of that, and even using those, it's still not great. I do not look forward to my showers with this chair. Because of these issues I intend to repair my old chair and keep this primarily for an emergency spare, it's more than good enough for that.
Bottom line: If you just have weak legs, poor balance, or are just afraid of falling, this chair would probably be fine unless you are very heavy. BUT... If you are a para or quad or have skin breakdown issues and can afford to spend more, keep looking for something better if it's to be used long term. If you do have skin issues and buy this chair, get some cushioning for it. It's not a terrible chair, but it's far from the best.It was easy to assemble and is very adjustable to the height you need. I am an above-the-knee amputee. This was just what I needed to help me bathe when I got home from the hospital. I can transfer from the wheelchair to the shower bench with no problems whatsoever. It really helps in allowing for more privacy as I am the type of person who likes to do for herself. This chair did not work for my parents. It slid every time my mom tried to get my dad on the chair. It slid both in the tub and on the floor. I would not recommend this transfer chair. The company that we purchased the chair from was great, however. They went out of their way to help us. They even sent us new legs to try and although we had to send everything back, we appreciated the assistance the company gave us.
First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser 5 oz
I have oily T-zone and normal cheeks. Always had great skin then I got the Nexplanon (3 yr b.c stays in your arm). My face went crazy. Waited 6 months took it out waited another 6 months skin never got better. I spent all of 2011 & 2012 trying to get my face back I'be had two different dermatologist and between them everything was tried.
More pimples and now dark spots I was loosing it.
Now:
I saw a review about this product and a girl said it worked in 5 days. I give you 2!! My face is already looks so much better! I problem I kept having with other products is they would over dry and burn my face up. This feels so different.
I'm soo happy i found it and I hope others do too.

This has worked really well for me. It foams up nicelysimilar to the consistency of shaving pot cream. With a pea-sized amount, it is able to remove makeup and bring my face back to its (almost squeaky) clean state. I haven't tried removing eye makeup with this, but it does a great job at removing foundation, blush, eyebrow pencil -don't have residual makeup on the cotton pad when I apply toner afterward. Will add this to my list of favorite beauty products.Read Best Reviews of First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser 5 oz Here
I have super sensitive skin that reacts to most cleansers. This one doesn't bother me. It removes make up without drying too.Want First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser 5 oz Discount?
This cleanser lathers well, you only have to use a pea-sized amount to cover your whole face. It seems to remove makeup well, and it's non-irritating and didn't dry out my skin. I don't think this alone will help cure noticeable acne, but for that it's important to use a cleanser in general. I did notice a light soapy smell that's unpleasant to me, but it goes away quickly. On it's own merits, this product really has no major flaws. I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because of the price I've used other face washes that are as effective at half the price or less.
Band-Aid plus Antibiotic Assorted Sizes -- 20 Bandages
I will not discuss the great virtues of Band-Aids because the brand is hardly a novelty. Since I had a good experience with the 'plus Antibiotic' version, I thought it might help someone if I discussed how this is different from the other Band-Aid products.
It adheres well to the skin. The last one I used, on a thumb cut, stayed tight for 2 days and survived 2 showers and several hand-washing sessions.
The adhesive bands are transparent to the point that it was hard to notice that I was actually wearing a Band-Aid. Kids who like the colored variety may not appreciate this.
It's very easy to apply. I could do it with one hand without a problem remember, my cut was on a thumb.
It's easy to remove.
My skin is rather sensitive but I noticed only a very mild rash on the side of the thumb opposite to the wound, caused by the glue.
The added antibiotic seems to be quite effective at healing wounds faster.
Since it's medicated, it actually has an expiration date.
For those who understand what this means, the 'active ingredients' statement on the box says: Each gram of ointment contains Polymixin B Sulfate 10,000 units and Bacitracin Zinc 500 units in a special white petrolatum base.
Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Gauze Pads, 4 Inch x 4 Inch, 25 Count (Pack of 2)
Besides made in china, they are on the thin side, I think 4 ply.The boxes sent to me have a different picture on the front although the UPC codes are the same. The ones pictured above are thicker than the ones I received. I specifically wanted the ones shown above but will try to make due with the ones I've been given and will try another brand next time or order from some other place.

Again I am surprised by the thickness of these gauze pads. I was used to seeing and using the flimsy gauze pads that looked almost transparent. But these were great. I recommend them. EMT First Responder Trauma Bag EMS, Ambulance, Medical Resuce Cab Bag
I have two bags I use: This one and Trauma medic bag I got while in the Army. This bag has non-rebreather mask, band-aids, alcohol wipes, guaze pads, guaze rolls, stethescope, BP cuff, thermomenters, three foldable splint braces, medical tape, minor OTC pain meds, Neosporin, a Pulse Oximeter, and much more. On that, it's not full! It's a good size for what it is intended. Most "first-aid kits" come suppled with very little.
I could fill this thing from any Rite-Aid, Excerd, Wal-Mart pharmacy area for very little. Sure the inital cost might seem a bit high, but once you have it, it will have more than what is needed for any minor emergency. My EMT/Trauma bag has the same items but more in severe trauma emergency supplies. Think "Rescue 911.
I would rather have this than a big bag to root through to find what I need. Not horrible, but not what I expected. I ordered this bag to put in my car in-case I ever come across a car accident or whatever the occasion may be. Since I work as an EMT I figure if I can help why not? So, long story short I order this bag assuming it would be the same size of the bags I use at work. This was not the case, this "EMT First Responder Trauma Bag EMS" is not even half the size of my regular bags
-I could barley fit half the equipment inside the main compartment, the side and front pockets
-The top piece of the bag either seals by cheap Velcro that is almost useless, or the clips in the front which do hold but do not close it completely. This is because the equipment when inside causes there to be a large gap from the side pocket to the top flap.
Like I said it is a bag. BUT if it's a bag that your looking to hold all your equipment then you would need to buy at least two of these compared to any other bag which you would only need one.

I have ordered both bags for the non profit EMS company I run. The Blue bag is actually a Rotchco EMS bag with a MSRP of 29.99 so its a steal at 14.99! We use this bag as a standard medical patrol bag for members and its of fantastic quality. We bought a few of the red and blue bags for our membership. The red bag is slightly larger on the side pockets but the material is thinner with inferior sewing/stitching and does not come with a padded divider insert. The red bag is a non name bag and comes in the box packed flat.
If you are looking to use this bag as a full EMS fist in bag keep in mind it wont hold a BVM in the side pockets. However if thats not a deal buster it will hold a impressive amount of supplies. The top inside of the bag has a zipper in it. If you cut a bit of cardboard out and slide it up in the compartment on the top of the bag it makes the bag more square and 10 times more durable. Your also able to lift the bag by the handle much better when you do that.
If your looking for a FULL use BLS bag with full gear this bag may not be for you. However if you are looking for a second smaller more portable bag or a bag for a large first aid kit then this is your bag.

I am a paramedic, I bought this to use as a creative diaper bag for my son. Its not a huge bag, you can't carry everything, just specifics. It could make a good trauma or peds bag. It works great as a diaper bag because of the shoulder strap. And I don't have to carry a flowery one. :)Want EMT First Responder Trauma Bag EMS, Ambulance, Medical Resuce Cab Bag Discount?

I usually always buy and make organic non-gmo foods, for my daughter. However, if I am crunched for time or a particular food is not in season, I will choose Earth's Best. My daughter loves all of the foods offered and I too thought they tasted good. I did contact the company when I saw claims that BPA was still in the lids and the phasing out process wouldn't take place until October of 2012. Not only did they respond quickly, they informed me that BPA has not been part of their packaging process since October 2011 ( I have included the email below). Great Company, absolutely love their products!***Dear Mrs. J,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding our Earth's Best® Baby Food. We strive to maintain the highest quality products and your satisfaction is very important to us.

I try to make all my son's food, but there are a few things that are more difficult than others. I bought these prunes instead of trying to make my own, and my son really likes them. I liked them too, knowing that they are organic, but then I realized that they have citric acid added.I don't want my baby's food to taste like anything other than what it is, so I was a little disappointed to see the citric acid, especially since there are reviewers that say the citric acid in the EB bananas makes them taste terrible. I tasted these prunes and Plum Organic prunes in the pouches, and the Plum did taste better. Plum Organics doesn't add citric acid to their prunes.
My son loves both kinds, since he is evidently a fan of prunes. But I will not be buying these again.
