ADC Laryngoscope Battery Handle

Smooth and non-slip grip. works with 2 AA batteries. Handle and packaging insert doesn't show which way to put in the batteries so I was able to figure it out by trial-and-error. Would've been nice if they put in a small engraving or label which way the batteries would go. I use this now more often than I use the conventional medium handle that came with my Olten laryngoscope. a little heavier and longer than a stubby Rusch handle.

Would buy it again and would recommend it to a friend.

Americo 7130 Silk Surgical Tape, Each Box Has 4 Rolls, White, 3 Inchx10yd, (Pack of 2)

I use this tape to keep my mouth closed while using a nasal pillow CPAP machine to avoid dry mouth in the morning. Two five-to-six inch pieces are used in a cross hatch fashion between cheek and chin and under my nose to prevent interference with the nasal pillow.

This tape does not stick very well to my face, especially if I did not shave in the morning, so sometimes I'll use an extra-long piece vertically across my mouth. Most of it holds up through the night, and it removes fairly easily. However, it is very hard to tear by hand and requires several tries along its length. Unless you have the strength to tear a phone book in half, scissors are recommended.

The case I had for my insulin pens wore out and I needed a replacement. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I started shopping. I was looking for one that would hold two pens and needles and alcohol swabs. This is working well for me. The only thing I would change if I could would be to give it a little more room in the interior.

3M Durapore Silk Tape - 2 Inches X 10 Yards - Box of 6

I have been using tape to secure and stabilize my heel. I have tried ordinary athletic tape from a sporting goods store, Johnson & Johnson Coach Sports Tape (with perforations for breathability) and Durapore. Ordinary athletic tape is fine for protecting an area from further injury--it immobilizes and helps protect from impact. However, I found that it lacks flexibility and is hard to adjust for just the right amount of compression. The Johnson & Johnson Coach Sports Tape is flexible and breathable, but the adhesive won't stay down on a sweaty foot. I even have trouble with that tape peeling off when I try to put on my sock. Durapore solves all of these problems. It has a certain amount of "give" when applied, so that I can regulate just how much compression is applied to the heel. This tape sticks: even after a day's hiking with wool over polypropylene socks, at the end of the day it is still stuck, but it peels off cleanly without leaving a gunky adhesive residue. After 12-16 miles on the trail, the edges do get frayed, but for the most part the tape stays intact. This tape is the best.

I used this tape to secure a plastic cover around the PICC line in my arm to protect it from getting wet in the shower.

It works very well for this purpose but, it was a little too good. Putting it on and taking it off of the same spot every time I washed caused some skin breakdown and bruising. It holds on to plastic and skin very well.

this tape sticks. you wont have any worries about it coming loose unless it is very greasy underneath it. we even use it on our pets.

I must wear a urostomy device. I have had it for 9 years, There is always a chance that it could come loose. It used to sometimes and it can be quite an embarrasement. Since I have started using this tape I have no. I mean no fears that it will come loose. And it is very easy on my skin.

Really like these. I'm constantly getting cracked skin on my knuckles and these cover well, are flexible, and water resistant enough to last a couple days. Great band-aids for your knuckles and finger tips. I only wish they sold the knuckles and fingertips separately, as I always run through the knuckles and have extra finger tips....

I wish there were more of the H-shaped bandages and fewer of the other type. The bandages seem more water resistant than waterproof as they keep water out initially but do fall off afterwards without being submerged in water. They are also much thinner than I expected but maybe that's how bandages are these days.

After battling tennis elbow for 6 months and finally starting physical therapy for it, I decided to get a brace to take pressure off the muscle group. I bought this and the Band-It XM magnetic brace. The gel pad in this extends beyond the strap and hits the bend of my arm, making it quite uncomfortable. The Band-It, on the other hand, feels much better, works simultaneously on lateral AND medial epicondylitis, and is easier to adjust.

this tennis elbow band has a small pillow that I can heat or make cold and it also is fluffy enough not to bind on the part that hurts. I am using it for tendon inflammation and where I place it helps put enough pressure that it does not hurt. I would not recommend cheaper ones without the pillow.

I was disappointed. The gel pack doesn't get very cold and it doesn't stay cold very long. I would not recommend this product.

I use this mainly for racquetball, and I only have to replace it once every year or two when the velcro wears out. It stays on securely when I perspire, and gives good support. It is not a guarantee that your tendon will not inflame from overuse, but it is a good preventive measure. I will buy it again.

August 2012 received Band-Aid's new QUILTVENT package, not the one pictured with this product [old design].

I love flexible fabric bandages, they are the only ones I can get to stick to my skin. Sheer just doesn't work, neither does their waterproof line. My problem seems to be sweat I'm a sweaty person and regular band-aids just don't like me.

Maybe it was not intended for this purpose but it is being promoted to real-time glucose sensor users. So, we had a reasonable expectation that it would cover the little gadget. Barely. Always had to use two of them. Even then, there would be a weird asymmetry and one side would be too close to the edge. However, the adhesive is really good; it holds well for 3 days.

I got 10 of these with my Medtronic CGM and, beside being too small, they start to lift in a very short time making them totally innefective for what they're intended, to keep my CGM dry. I used 2 this morning when I changed my sensor and they both came loose before I left the house for work.

Luckily I have a friend who wanted Bioclusive dressings and asked me to order her some at which time I accidentally ordered 2 boxes. Since she could only afford 1, I kept one. I'm glad I did now. Much better product if you can find and afford it.

This product seems to be adequate but I expected more pieces. They are pretty pricey but that may be the cost of being a diabetic.

I've had it for one day and it seems to be accurate. I calibrated the UA-787EJ against the manual setup (stethiscope, gauge and cuff) that I purchased last week and the readings are consistant. I read the first review that stated their disatisfaction b/c the readings were "high". I would recommend calibrating the unit yourself and if it is off, return it for another or a refund.

For the last week I've tested several monitors in the local stores (Omron, ReliOn, LifeSource) and I felt that all of them reported low BP readings. I even ordered one that was very eratic in its readings but was always 10 to 12 points lower than the readings taken w/a stethiscope (sometimes I used the BP machine at Wal-Mart, which seemed to be consistent). I returned it for a refund.

I work at a hospital, and a co-worker used the new UA-787EJ this morning, found that his blood pressure was very high, went down to ER and indeed it was extremely high. If you have doubts about the accuracy, I suggest purchasing the manual steth., gauge and cuff to do your own calibartion. It was the only way I could be confident the automatic unit was accurate and reliable. The manual setup only costs about $16.00 from Wal-Mart (maybe less from Amazon) and taking your BP is easy.

After doing extensive research on the web, I purchased this item to replace a current blood pressure monitor. While the Easy Fit cuff was easy to place, the B/P readings obtained for my wife and myself were much higher than those obtained on our previous B/P cuff as well as higher than blood pressures taken at the doctor's office. Since we had no confidence in the accuracy of the readings, I returned the B/P cuff to Amazon for a refund.

First, let me say that I use this monitor twice a day. I used to get very high readings until I followed the manual. I even took it to my doc to verify it was accurate. I learned to improve my readings by doing the following. I had to sit in front of my desk. Put my palm on the desk, face up. Make sure the white line on the armband was on the inside of my bicep and no talking. I take my reading 2-3 times per seating, with a 30-45 sec break between readings, to verify accuracy. Sounds like a lot...right. Not really. I've learned how to get accurate and consistent readings. I enter my best reading in iBP app for my IPhone. My doc was more than pleased to have so much information about my high blood pressure. This info helped him change my prescription to the proper med. I take less than 5 min twice a day to monitor my progress. I like this product. I would recommend it.

I am a 25 y/o male medical student in good health. knowing first-hand how important blood pressure is to one's overall health, i wanted to get a monitor so that i could accurately monitor my own pressures. so i bought this product becuase it got pretty good customer reviews and was also relatively inexpensive. however, i very quickly regretted my decision... this bp monitoring system gives dangerously inconsistent bp readings. there were times when i would get systolic readings as high as 160! because i eat healthy and run 4-5x per week, i was very skeptical of these readings, so i decided to bite the bullet and buy the more expensive "Lifesource UA-853ACP Premium Stand-Up Blood Pressure Monitor." i found the UA-853ACP to be a MUCH better system. it gives accurate, consistent results (my bp's are actually 120's over 70's).

So if i could give you one piece of advice, it would be to invest in the slightly more expensive UA-853ACP model, because it is definitely worth your money.

I use these mostly. I find the fabric bandages stay wet. Those heavier sports strips are good though, but I don't always want such a heavy bandaid, so these are good for general use.
