Naturall Dry Womens Antiperspirant Stick Deodorant-Natural Powder Tom's Of Maine 2.25 oz Stick

Finally a natural antiperspirant that works! I have tried so many natural deodorants over the years in order to avoid aluminum, but never had any luck until I tried this one. I've tried other ones from ToM, but they didn't seem to do the trick this one delivers and I can really sweat! It does tend to leave a hard to remove film where applied, but I just use exfoliating gloves in the shower and think that helps a bit.

I switched from Dove because of Tom's promise of aluminum-free, cruelty-free products.

I tried this after the Crystal brand deodorants, but did not like it for the same reason negative affect on body odor.

Like the Crystal brand, the scents smell pleasant by themselves, but not on.

Two friends and I found we might as well have worn nothing because this created a harsh odor not created by our own bodies. Not many adjectives for BO so I hope this makes sense: without deodorant, my body odor is mostly "mild"/sweet-smelling, but both brands produced a "bitter" type of smell. Not super intense (like others would notice it right away), but amplified in heat, and generally undesirable.

-I thought perhaps it could be because it has been very hot lately, and my job requires closed-toed shoes, pants, etc. despite the heat.

Not so, I noticed as soon as I started moving around at all even in my air conditioned house it produced an unpleasant smell. Never had this problem with Dove, Crystal took a bit more time. Friends had same results.

-I thought it could be my body chemistry or the scent. I tried their lavender years ago, and recently with the same results. Friends experiences were the same.

I will be trying another brand, and will not purchase Tom's in the future.

I produce very little underarm sweat (excepting vigorous exercise/extreme heat), so I can not attest to it's "anti-perspirant" claim.

i use this an alternative to secret since it has antiperspirant in it and lacks some of the other harmful ingredients. i sometimes use deodorant only but this product seems to work better so i use it when i need more protection than just deodorant alone.

I've been using Tom's of Maine Naturally Dry Womens Antiperspirant Stick for a couple of weeks now and it's working great.

I was a little disappointed that is contains aluminum but realize it is a natural mineral so is as advertised. I am thankful that

There's always a catch on buying discounted items. Based from my actual experience, the expiration date is less that 3-4 months. This is not publish during the ordering process. Good if you will be using this product at least once or twice a day so that you can consume it within 1-2 month period.

We received the item in what looked like damaged shipping: a strip had already loosened its way out and fell out even before we opened the Amazon shipping packaging. The box it came in looked frayed and old. The expiry of the product was for April 2010, and the ones you get in the store right now are for April 2011 or later.

Thankfully the return process at Amazon was smooth enough. We ended up buying this product in the store, since the expiry date is a concern.

Dr. Mom Complete Nursery Care Kit

I bought this kit when we were preparing for our son's arrival and I didn't know what I'd need to have on hand. He's now three months old and we've used a handful of the items -the aspirator, the forehead thermometer, the digital thermometer, the nail clipper and the nail files. I was particularly glad to have the health-related items on hand when we suspected our baby might be sick or congested late in the evening.

I have no complaints about the quality of the components, and I imagine we'll go on to use other items (hair brush, toothbrush, teething ring) within the next several months. I don't think we'll need the syringes, since most medications come with their own, but I guess they don't hurt to have.

All in all, a good buy at a good price that lets new parents feel prepared.

First Aid Kit With Hard Case- 326 pcs- First Aid Complete Care Kit - Exceeds OSHA & ANSI Guidelines

I ordered two of these and they came in tonight. I am very pleased. I am trying to get my first aid situation squared away and these kits were a great starting point. There are some great items in thenkit and a few that aren't so important to me. There is also plenty of room in these kits to customize them a little.

In my pictures you'll see that there are little storage slots for the medicines and other first aid items. Several comments here:

it's a pretty good system of organization

you can add and remove as your needs dictate

as you will see in one of the pics, these rows will rotate forward allowing for easier access to the item u need and if

you look closely, you'll notice that there are unused storage slots behind each used slot. This is great because I

can add more of what I want.

there is even more room for medium sized items in the very back of the kit. I plan on putting a few military type

Trauma bandages back there.

The case itself is firm to a degree but would easily break/crack if dropped on a hard surface. So don't drop it.

In summary, just buy it and be ready for a first aid emergency with a great kit and great for the money.

Used these gloves to work on my car and they hold up pretty well. They are obviously susceptible to tear but they held up through an oil change, egr valve cleaning and ignition coil test. These are some tight spaces where one or two things caught but they didn't tear.They fit great for my hand size (medium) and can be used in all other instances. Recommended if you are working on a car and you need something more fitting than thick automotive gloves these are the glove of choice in my opinion

This bag is the best I've seen. SUPER thick and durable. MUCH bigger than you would think! No first aid/trauma kit is gonna come with everything you want. It just doesn't seem to exist or it would cost so much that nobody would buy it. It takes at least $1000-$1500 to have a proper kit. After reading many reviews on several different EMS/First Responder bags, I decided to order this one as my "starter jump bag" to keep in my truck (in all honesty, I was also highly motivated by this past weekend's camping adventure that ended with 2 people requiring minor to moderate medical care ~ beyond what my previous 1st aid kit could provide). The price made it an incredible value & the rather detailed reviews here aided in my decision (read them!). I received it today (fast, fast, FAST shipping!) & promptly set to going through the contents with a fine toothed comb, comparing items to the inventory lists provided.

While it includes everything here, it appears that my kit actually came with a duplication of one of the internal packages (score!) ~ that said, the only reason I am rating this as "4-star" and not 5 is because on the side of the external bag (orange canvas, not the inside liner) is an approx. 2" cut/tear that mimics that of a box cutter. Yes, I'm sure I could of returned it with this defect but overall decided it wasn't a huge deal (piece of duct tape on the inside & will sew a bit of reflective material over the outside to reinforce it). The calibration on the BP cuff is off slightly as well, but I already have one so doubt I'll ever use this one. I've decided we're even considering the additional supplies. ;)

It's worth reiterating that while this is a [GREAT] stocked starter bag, it is far from what I'd consider complete (also noted by other reviews here, the C-collars, Ambus, etc. can be picked up on the side). I added a lot of little yet important extras: more/different types of tape, more wet burn dressings & gel, splinter removers, Sam splints/Israel battle dressing kit, quick clot kits, disinfectants/ointments, OTC meds (tylenol, asprin, etc), dozens of gloves, vet wrap cling bandages, flashlight, lots of "left overs" from my previous kit, etc. I also intend to add a small but medical grade profession field surgery/suture kit as there are only the bare essentials in this one (and, like another customer, my "mini scalpel" was missing). The best part about all of this? Everything fits with ROOM TO SPARE! I can even fold up my safety vest & stuff it in one of the side pockets.

Because I question the waterproofing of the canvas (bottom is different) I'll probably seal it off with some silicon-based sealant to hopefully keep the rain out.

First let me rate this according to the actual Amazon information.

Is it a First Responder Trauma Bag?

Yes, sort of.

Is it Fully Stocked?

Again, sort of. It is full of stuff that may be useful as a First Responder. Some of the items are really useful, some of them not so much. For a First Responder bag I would have expected some items that were not included, kind of like what you find in a nicely stocked first aid kit. I didn't see a list of what should be included either in the shipment, or online, so I will just have to guess that everything I have is what I should have and that there is nothing missing.

The name implies that this is a bag meant for a First Responder, and not an EMT-B, I or P so I would not expect to find some of the things I would want in a trauma bag and this is certainly the case, however I also find some things I wouldn't expect to find like a scalpel, oral glucose, a cuff and scope, not that those are not useful for an EMT, just nothing a First Responder should be messing with according to most protocols.

NOW regarding other reviews READERS BEWARE

ShawnSpector called this trauma bag "the best" and described the bag as "SUPER thick" and "durable" Either Shawn got a different bag than I did, or his idea of thick and durable is suspect. My underpants are made of thicker material, though I will readily admit they are probably not as durable. I bought this based on the reviews, and 16'x9'x6" (approximate loaded size) bag isn't large and roomy. It is setup to allow you to organize fairly well, but this is an occasional weekend trip bag, not one built for daily use. I think for what mine contained it was barely worth the price, but again, I had no inventory list included to compare with. My advice, buld your own bag. If you are not sure of what you should include, ShawnSpector has a very comprehensive list, with a few redundancies and a number of items that should never be needed by anyone below the Paramedic level, and not by many of them. IMHO A somewhat pared down version of that list would be ideal for most EMTs and extreme overkill for the untrained.

Micropore Tape TAN 2" X 10' - 6 Rolls

This stuff really stays on. I've used it through the years for all sorts of things. I recently injured a toe and had to change the dressing twice daily, and the Dr. gave me a roll of this. It stays on thru showers, removes easily, and doesn't stick to wounds. The width of this was a bit unwieldy for a toe, but cut in half, it's perfect. Advil Tablets Pain Reliever Refill, 50 Two-Packs per Box

This package contains 50 packets with 2 Advil tablets each. The order we just received has expiration dates printed on the packets 15 months in the future, so they're also fairly fresh.

I bought these to keep in my two cars. As a guy (who does not carry a purse...) I got tired of never having any if I got a small headache while I was out running errands. I think the individual packets will allow them to with stand the climate changes that occur by being left in the car 24/7.

They came in 50 packs of 2 advil each. The expiration date was about 14 months away.

The only problem I have with these are some of the packs are very difficult to open. I understand childproofing...But I literally have to use scissors on a couple of them.

Overall, these fit my needs and I will buy this same item again when I need more.

Schick Quattro For Women Trimstyle Razor & Bikini Trimmer Pink/White

Shick's new tool is a razor and bikini trimmer called the Quattro For Women Trimstyle and it comes in a feminine pink and teal-ish package. The tool itself is the same teal and white so while it's different from the pink of the original Quattro for Women, it's still quite feminine. Although wider than the Quattro razor, it's not unwieldy. Like the original, there is a little rubber button to rest your finger, right above the razor blade, but I found that this was not where my finger naturally rested.

The razor takes the same 4-blade replacement as the original Quattro for Women (so you can use any blades you may have) although the razor cap slides on from the end instead of over the top (this might be better. It seems more secure).

The trimmer is powered by 1 AAA battery which has a rather clever compartment. This makes the whole thing waterproof and since I am not a fan of dry shaving, this is good. It also means the trimmer can be cleaned up by running water over it. The Quattro For Women Trimstyle comes with a plastic holder which suctions to the shower wall but probably will not fit in the original shower holder.

The trimmer has an adjustable comb for 3 different lengths and can be removed entirely. With the comb on, I never worried about cutting myself nor did I find the trimmer to be too bulky. The comb was a little tricky to maneuver. It was easy to set it at the short or long lengths but the middle one was harder because the comb wanted to skip past that setting. Removing the comb can help for cleaning up any little hairs.

The trimmer is powered by a button on the handle. I found that, during shaving, I would occasionally bump this button. I think that would happen no matter where the button is located on the handle as long as it is that shaft and is the style it is. I would prefer a switch you push into an on/off position as opposed to the button.

My experience with Shick's new Quattro For Women Trimstyle was pretty good. I don't really like the tricky job of shaving my bikini area so I tend to let it go until I know something must be done. I don beekeeper style gear, grab a hatchet and set to work for long hours under the blinding sun. At least it feels like it. With the trimmer, I was able to trim several months' growth of hair in 5 10 minutes so I looked presentable. This made the more precision shaving which was to come a lot easier. While there were a few straggling hairs which I missed, I think it was more my fault than that of the Quattro For Women Trimstyle.

The Quattro For Women Trimstyle never once caught on my hair or cut me. I could use the trimmer in either direction; although, the cut was closer it I went against the grain. The trimmer is not super quiet. It sounds like an electric razor and if you feel the need to hide what you're doing, make sure to have the shower on or to be home alone. However, it was not ridiculously loud.

Ive always reviewed the Quattro For Women razor and while I like it, I wound up defaulting to my Venus Divine because I was sick of buying 2 sets of blades. One thing is for sure, the Quattro gives me a much smoother shave in some areas, like my bikini line and the back of my thighs but not in others (like my actually bikini area or legs). While shaving the bikini area after trimming, I did bring out my Venus to get a few hairs the Quattro seemed to miss consistently. I'm not sure what the rhyme or reason it for why the razor for so well.

However, I feel this is a strong tool overall. If you don't have time to shave, the trimmer works well. If you like to do both, it's 2 tools in 1. If you are like me and need to tame the lion, the trimmer is the first tool for the job and then you can go back for more precise styling later. If you run out of razor blades, a close trim will certainly tide you over. Now that I have the Quattro For Women Trimstyle, I don't see myself ever needing to go into the jungle again. It will be much easier to consistently take care of the bikini area.

I was actually quite a bit nervous to use the trimmer down there, but I tried it and it works pretty good. Took one star away for it being so loud. Could definately be mistaken for something totally different if heard from outside the bathroom. A little embarassing!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I bought this before reading any reviews and got it for less than ten dollars at my local beauty store. I sure did like the idea of trimming my nether regions in the shower, rather than perched over the tiolet with an extension cord on the end of a big hair trimmer. This product is two things, first it is a razor and second it is a trimmer, reverse the order, if you like. In regards to the razor. It is pretty good. It doesn't have as much flex as say some men's schick razors out there, but it still seemed to shave me close. I noticed the razor width is a tiny bit shorter than the men's one I was using prior so it seemed like it took me a little longer to get the job done. The trimmer worked very well. I noticed several reviews where others were unhappy with the trimmer not leaving them smooth. Remember it is a "TRIMMER," not a razor. When you get get your hair trimmed at the salon, do you find yourself running your hands over a bald head? It is meant to leave hair, just a shorter version of it! And it does a great job at that, no nicks, no pulling, just shorter, less bushy hair, down there. I will tell you this, I did had to go the shortest setting to get a length that I found good. You can also remove the adjustable guard and do a closer TRIM, say on the sides and it will take the hair off, but will not give a baby smooth finish. I think this is better because whenever I lost my senses and actually shaved with a razor down there, I itched like crazy when the hair was regrowing. I think for $10 it is worth it just for the trimmer part personally. My husband also used it to trim his mustache because the hair trimmers out there tend to be huge and can't fit under his nose very well and it did a fabulous job. I am giving it 4 stars rather than 5 because although the razor head does swivel there is a lack of flex in the actual blades.

I was trying to find a good trimmer for my bikini area because I was sick of the oh so painful razor bumps!

This does the trick! The trimmer provides a close trim without any irritation. Since I like to have absolutely no hair (lol), I use the razor to remove everything, and it's great! It's a nice, smooth, razor bump free shave! And that's saying something since every form of hair removal (including tweezing) irritates me. For ten dollars, I couldn't be more pleased. :-)

The ones that work are ok. Unfortunately half are dying and the lights aren't near as bright. This is a bummer and I'll have to find more lights that work soon. I wouldn't recommend these unless you like getting half-dead products.
