I got my cheeks pierced sometime last year, and about a month later i had developed some ugly hypertrophic scars right above the piercing (I have 8 other piercings that healed properly without any trouble). I then began alternating between neosporin and mederma to try to get the tiny raised skin to go downNot effective. I tried Scar Away gelNot effective. I also couldnt afford to spend $30+ on other scar treatments. Then my mom brought home one sheet of Curad scar therapy that a friend had given her. i cut two tiny squares and placed them over the scars. When I removed it a few hours later, (you only keep it on a few hours the first time, gradually increasing the length of time each application stays on) my scar was much softer and visibly smaller. i used the scar pads once a day and within 2 weeks the raised tissue was back in uniform with the rest of ,y face. NO MORE FUNKY PIERCINGS! I do still have very very slightdiscoloration from the scar but it covers with minimal make up. I never tried it on scars ive had for multiple years, but it worked great on my hypertrophic scars. Worth trying it out.
There are now other products that deliver for less money. I was very disappointed.

I used these to try to save a few bucks before I finally bought the medical grade ones and they did not work at all. I followed the instructions to the letter and they showed no improvement at all. I was so upset because I wasted alot of time when I could have been using something that really works. I finally went to my doctor who recommended Scaraway, which is a professional grade silicone that is thin and like a soft fabric, not stiff like these curad ones are. I felt a difference in the softness of my scar in just a few days and the way the height, thickness and color of my scar diminished over a period of weeks was nothing short of amazing. On one of my surgery scars you can barely see where the surgical cut was. I have used several different types of silicone pads and these are awful. Unless you need them on a totally flat part of your body that does not move much, these are not going to work well for you. My scar is on the back of my left hand. I thought since these are kind of self stick, they would be easier to use, but they are so unflexable, they wrinkle up and come off right away. I tried to wrap gauze over it as I have to do with the other types to keep them in place, and they still wrinkled up and came off. The whole point of the silicone is not just to smooth the area, but keep air out to keep scar tissue from forming further. These failed on both counts. Too bad too as they are a bit expensive. DixiGear First Responder FULLY Stocked Trauma First Aid Kit-Orange
This is a great kit with a lot of great supplies. The only thing I feel it's missing would be a professional grade resuscitation mask in case of CPR and perhaps a a compact BVM. Other than that, I feel a lot better having one of these in the back of the car. I'll be buying more.
You can't fit a ton into this little bag, but you can certainly fit the basics, and the price for what you get is pretty decent, too! The only thing I'd like better is if there were more adjustable dividers inside...but maybe I can make those myself...

For an EMT/First responder, it has enough stuff to help a patient and then some. Right off the bat, this kit came in a plastic wrapper that already had a tear in it when I went to open it. The outside of the kit as roughed up and scratched looking, and though the picture would imply a sturdy metal case, it is in fact plastic. And one of of the two tabs to hold the box closed was already broken.The "EFA First Aid Instructions" amount to a single-page pamphlet, the scissors included are puny compared to what it shown, and if there was an organizing principal to how the box was packed, it eludes me.
I suppose for the price what you're getting here is decent enough, but if you were hoping for a tight, compact, metal kit you could supplement, forget about it. My first thought on opening this was that I'd need to replace the case with something more sturdy. Can't really recommend this wholeheartedly, but it's a good cheap kit you could toss out as a small gift item, or put in a seldom-used vehicle.

I had read in a magazine that this mascara lived up to its promises so I thought I'd try it. I like how it goes on clean--not clumpy at all, and seems to make my tiny little lashes longer. I had a very mild case of eczema on two fingers and saw a dermatologist who prescribed a steroid-type cream. I wanted to avoid using steroids of any kind, so I stopped using after only a few days. I looked into other "more natural" options and read about the benefits of manuka honey. I thought I'd buy a tube just to see. I've used it for only 2 weeks now and my eczema is so much better. I didn't have any pain/itching with my eczema so I can't review on that, but the manuka honey did make the little bubbles (gross) and thick callus almost disappear. All I can say is do your homework. If you want to be prepared for a dangerous situation you shouldn't skimp on quality. I bought this stuff when I had a bad experience with Jellyfish Squish. I also read a review about this stuff on the deeper blue forums (forums.deeperblue.com/beach-bar/97568-jellyfish-sting-treatments.html). Apparently they just started selling it on Amazon! I'm glad they did. I also picked up a bottle of Blue Bottle Buster Portuguese Man-of-War Treatment in the case of man-of-war sting too!

The reason why I deduct 1 star is because the case itself is kind of a joke. It's one huge piece of plastic & the so-called "hinges" are just where the plastic is really thin. Bend it enough times & I'm sure the hinges will break. The rubber gasket is fine, but because the case is a piece of junk I highly doubt it'll keep out water if it received a good soaking from a fire sprinkler or something.
I don't blame the product. I think the ANSI standard itself needs some revising to make sure that cases are better constructed. My home first aid kit box is much sturdier than this product. That's because I bought an empty box of my own choosing & filled it myself. I could tell the case for this product is junk just by looking at the pictures online, but I bought this for our office so that we would be better compliant with OSHA. So if your concern is to have what is minimally required for an office work environment so that OSHA doesn't get all in your face, then get this kit.
Addendum: The Emergency First Aid Guide booklet included, which covers everything from choking to strokes, doesn't have pictures. That's odd because I have a nearly identical book in my home kit WITH pictures. Again, I don't blame the product. In this case it's the American Red Cross who decided for some reason that pictures were not necessary.

OMG i love this stuff! i am white and have platinum blonde bleach hair and this is the best deep conditioner i have ever used! Today was the first time i've ever used it. I left it on for about an hour and a half and when i washed it out my hair felt so soft, smooth, and hydrated. So i was already like HELL YA! When i went to blow dry my hair my brush could go all the way through root to tip. My brush wasn't getting caught up in knots and tangles. This kit is built upon the Maxpedition FIGHT pouch platform which securely holds all of the contents while being readily accessible with the tear away design. Maxpedition makes very high quality gear that is rugged, durable, and will stand up to abuse. One of the aspects that I really like with this trauma kit it that it has built in redundancy. There are two tourniquets, two chest seals, and multiple methods for handling severe bleeding. This is an excellent kit to treat an individual with multiple systemic trauma or multiple individuals. All of the contents are top quality except for the SWAT-T tourniquet which in my opinion is not as effective as the Combat Application Tourniquet. Some minor adjustments that I would make to this kit would be to include 2-3 pairs of Nitrile gloves, add 4 packets of Water Jel Burn Jel, Pain Relief 25 ea, and add a small LED flashlight such as the Streamlight 66318 MicroStream C4 LED Pen Flashlight.
I highly recommend The Tactical Development Group Trauma Kit as it is an effective trauma kit. Most kits have components that are cheap quality but not this kit. In fact, this is one of the best "pre-packaged" kits that I have seen on the market.

It has far more items than most kits.
The only reason it gets less than 5 stars is that the seller lies in the title of the listing. The kit itself says it HELPS a person comply with OSHA regs. The listing says it EXCEEDS OSHA regs. That isn't true.
Why they overhype this excellent product is beyond me and it is the only reason they have lost a star.
GREAT product and a must for every home and office!I just received this and it's a great kit. I have worked in EMS for years now and I carry this kit when I am off duty. It contains everything you may need. As for Osha & Ansi guidelines, it clearly says on the box that it helps comply with these guidelines. On the back it gives a small list of additional you will need to make it Ansi compliant.I'm pretty impressed with this kit. It has a lot of different tools and items perfect for emergencies. I can't say that it meets guidelines for businesses, I'm only using this for my house. But it seems to be a pretty complete kit. I also purchased " First Aid Only 25 Person Bulk First Aid Kit, 106-Piece Kit " along with this and combined create a very emergency effective kit.
The kit is designed to be wall-mounted and the little shelves inside actually will tilt out to make it easier to get out whatever it is holding. On the other hand I would not recommend this to keep in your car because there is enough empty space around the shelves even when the case is closed that if you shake the kit around or turn it with the top of the shelves down the contents can fall out into the kit and become a disorganized mess.
