WoodyKnows Ultra Breathable Natural Fit Nose / Nasal Filters for Hay Fever, Pollen & Dust Allergy,

WoodyKnows Ultra Breathable Natural Fit Nose / Nasal Filters for Hay Fever, Pollen & Dust Allergy, Pet Hair and Dander Allergy, Allergic Asthma, Sinusitis, Rhinitis Relief 1-PackI share my positive experience with this wonderful product. I tried this, and it really helps!

(1) It really works! I have terrible allergies that remain, even with medication. This is a much better option than wearing a full face mask. It does help immensely in alleviating my allergies and allows me to be outside and drive without looking like a freak wearing a full mask.

(2) The nose filters fit well. There are eight sizes, and the size IIR fit me very well (no air enters my nostrils from around the sides when I breathe either in or out meaning it is only filtered air that I am breathing through my nose). The flexible frame is also helpful for better fit.

(3) Easy to breathe. Unlike a mask, which has a large surface air for air flow exchange, the nose filters are tiny and a lot of air has to be squeezed through a tight place. It is so amazing that the air can pass easily through such a tight place.

(4) Good quality. The filter is thin and you can almost look through it. The frame is slim and flexible and no fibers or particles come out from the filters. All above indicate very good manufacturing quality.

(5) Sometimes the nose filters become obstructed with nasal secretions; people with allergies have nasal secretions or dried up flakes of mucus in their noses. At that time, I can clean it easily with water and tissue. It is very convenient for my daily use.

In summary, this product is an amazing idea that works in practice, and I'm really pleased with this product!

As I have stated before, "be sure to get the right size". Woody has been extremely good about following up on his products and was quick to respond. In these days of mass merchandising, it is nice to know that companies like WoodyKnows cares about their products and their customer's satisfaction. Woody was quick to replace my first order with ones(IIR) we thought would fit. I just received the replacements which fits a lot better. I think these nasal filters work very well so I strongly recommend ordering these from WoodyKnows.

I give WoodyKnows a 5 Stars-thumbs up for customer service, satisfaction and a great product!

This is a completely revised review of the product.

First, be warned the fitting process is crucial. I gave this product 1 star in my first review because it was so frustrating. I suspect this occurred because my nostril shape is somewhat atypical. Following the standard measurement procedure led straight to the wrong sizes.

However, after I posted my review, Woody contacted me and walked me through the fitting again. It turns out the company has just come out with an improved version of this product which should fit better.

Other customer service notes: product description was corrected rapidly after I spotted a small error.

I just receive the new versions two days ago. So first impressions:

The improved version does fit much better. Each size should work with more variations in shape and size. If I follow the fitting instructions, the correct filter size is still not optimal for me but I think contacting customer service is the right step. Also, buy multiple trial packs to check your size.

Fitting: I ended up choosing one size larger than the expected size. Really, it should work but I was having trouble poking the correct size deeply enough for proper position.

(Customer Service Update April 26, 2013): After I posted this review, Woody got back to me immediately and sent a second filter in my size. I'd originally purchased two filters. Now that's customer service when they respond faster than you do. Too bad there are only 5 stars!

Comfort: I notice the filter is present. It is not uncomfortable.

Air flow: There is some drag but nothing like having a stuffy nose. It gets easier after an hour as you learn to tolerate this.

Cosmetic: Yes, there is a small plastic loop between your nostrils. It bothered me at first but then nose piercings bother me much more and I decided to ignore this.

Function: Too bad the worse of the California pollen season has already passed. We'll see what happens when the summer smog hits. (Update: April 26, 2013) For the rest, here is an early evaluation.

At first, I kept poking the sensitive membranes in the nostril and things started watering aborting that insertion attempt. After about 2-3 days of use, I've gotten the hang of inserting the filters on the first try.

For me, even with allergy medications, I need to blow my nose about 3-4 times per hour. With the filters, I need to do this every 2-3 hours plus it helps greatly with post-nasal drip. Since I'm allergic to dust mites, pollen and mold, the best method is 1) wash hands and face, 2) use a sinus rinse then drain sinuses (very important to drain!) and 3) insert nose filters. I sure hope the filters are durable enough to last a month with multiple daily insertions.

So on the cost savings side, I don't have to spend so much on tissues. And I can replace the public embarrassment and lack of hygiene associated with blowing my nose with a small plastic loop instead.

(Filters not yet tested on animal dander, cigarette smoke, etc... but I'm expected positive results)

I've decided to continue antihistamine use. You never know.

Convenience: Cleaning is easy.

Inconvenience: must remove and clean if you need to blow your nose.

Cost: It's more expensive than the run of the mill antihistamine (generic claritin, zyrtec) but I get very dried out using these medications. As a result, I end up drinking a lot of water at night and waking up frequently. Good sleep is worth the extra cost.

Warning: Very easy to lose the smaller sizes down the drain/toilet just like a pair of contacts.

Summary: If you suffer from exposure to large clouds of irritants (lots of dust, pet dander, heavy pollutants) this filter is well worth a try. Don't skimp on the fitting step.

Is a 3*** too cruel? Especially since I keep ordering the filters. Ok because I really do like the idea and concept let me share my Q&A

Quality (****) The quality is good...borderline great. Eventually they wear out from the pulling, adjusting and cleaning. It's hard to have durability in a sensitive area like your nose but WoodyKnows is real close. Compared to the competition out there (I tried the blue ones out and another PLASTIC one), WoodyKnows is #1

Comfort (**) As I praise their quality and somewhat durability The comfort just isn't there for me. My nose is sensitive and I constantly have to adjust it back in my nose or take out because of irritation. I would love if I could go a full hour without touching or readjusting it (I am a nose breather)

Ease of Use (****) I would give 5***** because it's just like the picture shows. Insert and go, but I constantly have to have my iphone help me re-adjust. Still easy enough...

Price (***) rounding up, $17 for these are a bit pricey especially since they ware out. I would LOVE to have my insurance cover these as I buy in bulk, still it's not price gauging...it's reasonable, but not an OMG order while still in stock.

At the end of my 3*** rating I will order the bulk buy...it's not a bad rating, It' means not fantastic but not bad. I wouldn't mind a competitor or Woody catering to the sensitive nose folks

Nelsons Tea Tree Oil Cream -- 1 oz

Nelsons Tea Tree Oil Cream -- 1 ozThis "cream" is far too liquidy, often dripping out of the tube, but it gets the job done and I don't think they could possibly make it more solid considering the proportion of tea tree oil in it.

I suffer from acne related to an atypical type of PCOS. I am normal weight, eat healthy and exercise regularly. However I'm in my mid-twenties and because of the PCOS still have facial acne.

I have a severe allergy to benzoyl peroxide, a common acne treatment. My dermatologist that retired a year ago had me on retin-a micro, which has worked great.

Unfortunately, I have a new job and Blue Cross, my new health insurance doesn't cover retin-a. A one month supply is over $300 dollars. There is no genetic to retin-a, and the only other prescription product close is tretinoin which severely burned my skin years ago.

I saw this product at Whole Foods. My face, no longer being treated with retin-a micro was breaking out. I knew tea tree oil has anti-septic properties, and this cream seemed like a good was to apply it to my face. Only a day after starting to use it, a large pimple on the side of my forehead that had been swollen, red, and extremely painful had pretty much dried up and was healing.

I had some more pimples come out, but i think that was my face purging them out. They all healed extremely fast and my skin is looking back to normal without prescription meds, and without me spending $300 dollars.

I apply in the morning after my shower, and at night after I wash my face before going to bed. Now that my face is doing better, I mix the tea tree cream with a little hypoallergenic lotion (I use DML lotion recommended to me by my retired dermatologist)and apply to my face since it's winter and the air is dry.

There are no fragrances added, and tea tree oil is a bit smelly but you get used to it, and the smell fades pretty quickly after applying.

All in all, for the small cost of this product and the great results I've had, it's definitely worth a try.

I am very impressed with this product! I purchased this product on a lark to receive free shipping from another website. I'm pregnant and my hormonal acne is in hyper mode. None of my usual tricks are clearing my face. I used this product last night and woke up this morning to a clearer face, less redness, less pain and calmer skin. As if a clear face is not enough of a good thing, an added bonus is that this product is less expensive than most of the products I use. I wouldn't hesitate to order again!

3M Transpore Clear 1-Inch Wide First Aid Tape, 10-Yard Roll (2 Rolls)

3M Transpore Clear 1-Inch Wide First Aid Tape, 10-Yard RollThis is a must-have in your first aid box. YOU DO HAVE A FIRST AID BOX, DON'T YOU? I've had a lot of surgery, so I can authoritatively speak to the hell of pulling dressing tape off your skin on the same spot over and over. This tape is the easiest and least painful to remove. It holds the dressing in place well and does not take patches of skin with it when it's time to change it. Good job, 3M.

Most men who run long distances have problems with the dreaded nipple chafing. Band aid's are the traditional fix, but can get expensive when used almost daily. This tape worked out great. It stuck to the skin in that sensitive area, did not come off as a result of sweating, and wasn't bad to remove. It addressed the problem perfectly.

I have been using this daily to dress some foot ulcers and it sticks very well, yet peels off fairly cleanly even on my thin skin. It is much more sticky than store brands I've had and can this a 5 star rating. It has not irritated my skin and dressing changes are simpler and quicker since this sticks so well.

OPTP SI-Loc

OPTP SI-LOC Large/Extra Large Sacroileac BeltI had suffered from sciatica for three years. Therapy, pain relievers, chiropractors, all only gave temporary help. Then a friend told me about this little device. I purchased it (it arrived real fast too!) and put it on. In one minute I went through a million years of evolution and began walking upright! I wore it all night as directed. In the morning it felt as if I never had the pain in the first place! I now wear it everyday, and do certain exercises to strenghten the the support muscles in that area (I'm a certified personal trainer). My problem is now fast becomming a thing of the past. Normally I never bother with such things but now I tell everyone and anyone who has a sciatica problem about this little device, and where to get it! Everyday I marvel had the fact that I'm able to walk again! This is one great belt!

I had an accident about twelve years ago, where I fell on my tailbone. Over time I have started to have a lot of back pain and hip pain. I'm only 25 so that just doesn't work for me. I'm also a Pilates Studio Owner and Instructor. I have recommended this item to a few of my clients who suffer from these problems as well. It definitely helps stabilize the lower back, which stops the pain and helps you get stronger in the exact places you need to. I would definitely recommend this to a lot of people. It keeps you aligned. Thank you so much for reading this.

Regarding the service: it was prompt and without a hitch.

I am using the Si-Loc belt for several years now (on and off) with no complains, quite the contrary. From my own personal experience, I was able to do everyday activities, including cleaning and lifting, with the belt on. Unlike previous belts I had, this one does not restrict my movements and it holds on nicely (except for riding up while sitting). I am using the belt as recommended to me by my chiropractor for lower back problems and muscles spasms. After several years, it is still working great and I love it so much that I ordered it for my mother. She loves it! It is sitting very comfortably and no one knows that it is there. This belt seems to sit better than my older belt and I was able to tight it better and as of today, it held on even while sitting.

I NEVER take the time to review products, but the SI-LOC belt so far exceeded my expectations that I feel it's necessary. I purchased this belt when I was approximately 12 weeks pregnant and had started having terrible sacro-iliac joint pain (to the left and right of my spine, near the top of my hiney, in my lower-back area). I had never experienced this before, and it was different than having pulled muscles in my lower back. Getting in and out of bed to use the potty multiple times per night became excruciating! It was a physical therapist friend who let me borrow her belt to try out and I soon ordered my own. It has made ALL THE DIFFERENCE in the remainder of my pregnancy! I am now 30 weeks pregnant, and wear this belt nearly every day.

Pros:

1. Perfect sizing the S/M belt can be cinched down if you are smaller or expanded if you are larger due to the long velcro area (nearly the length of the entire belt). Even now, almost 20 pounds heavier than when I bought it (with most of the weight in one place), it still fits me. **NOTE: You wear this belt BELOW your belly, basically right at your bikini zone, so even a large pregnant belly does not interfere. However, I would still recommend checking with your doctor about it if you're preggo. I found out later that the SI-LOC company does make a pregnancy-specific belt, although I think the regular one works just great.

2. Simplicity I would never have believed that something so simple could make such a massive improvement in my SI pain. It's not rocket science, but it works beautifully.

3. Cost I was willing to pay anything to relieve my SI pain, so ~$30 was extremely reasonable. Plus, you'll be able to use this belt through multiple pregnancies/multiple years.

4. Construction quality excellent. I wear it nearly every day, taking it off and on to go to the restroom or when I just want a break (like to eat). I have seen no wear at all, nor with the belt that I borrowed from my friend (which is several years older than my belt) they look the same, though hers might have gotten slightly darker in color.

5. Function I felt/feel relief beginning the moment that I put it on and cinch it down. It stays in place and doesn't slip. They recommend that you wear it over clothes/underwear, but I have worn it under my underwear to sleep at night so that I wouldn't have to take it off/on when going to the potty during the night. Although it was slightly less comfortable directly against my skin, it did not prevent me from sleeping.

6. Long-term benefit I can tell a significant difference (improvement!) in my pain when I have been wearing the belt for longer periods of time the pain is decreased when I take the belt off again.

7. Improved mobility when I am wearing the belt, I am able to do things that I could NOT do without the belt on. At this stage of pregnancy, simple bending/twisting with housecleaning would send stabs of pain through my SI joint. The SI-LOC belt TREMENDOUSLY improves what I can do. (I'm not saying that I never have SI pain anymore but it is very manageable now, with lots of periods of painlessness.)

Cons:

1. Color/style it's not a thing of beauty. It's a neutral tan color. If you're looking for something fashionable, this is not it. And, as far as I know, there are no other color options. But, really, who cares? I wear it under my clothes and most of the time it is not discernable through what I'm wearing.

2. Instructions the instructions were a little lacking on how to actually put the belt on. It wasn't just intuitively obvious where the black slider should go, on which side, etc. And it's not very clear where exactly to put it on your body they use the Advanced Anatomy & Physiology terminology for where it should go on your body (probably because this is meant to be used by medical professionals who would know what those terms mean). You can solve this by 1. asking a smart/medically-saavy friend, or 2. looking up the words on the internet. Nevertheless, I figured it out. **NOTE: the instructions are EXTREMELY thorough, however, in regard to what it does for you and the science behind it (complete with literature citations, if you're interested in that), which I really appreciated.

36 Remedy Deluxe Starter Homeopathy Kit

36 Remedy Deluxe Starter Homeopathy KitThis is a very good kit and an OUTSTANDING value!

PROS:

These remedies are 30C potency the most commonly used potency by laymen and a common potency used by professionals.

Good, safe middle-of-the-road potency to be used with your very first book or online class, and GUESS WHAT...

COMES WITH AN ONLINE CLASS! I sure wish there'd been something like that when I was first bumbling around trying to study homeopathy long ago and far away.

Most people begin with homeopathy with a book and a couple of vials of remedies. Most health-food stores in the US have individual remedies currently retailing between $5 and $12, or so, this kit has 36 remedies with approximately 35 pillules in each vial. If they were only $5 per vial, that would be $175! As it is, at $79.99, that's $2.22 per vial. I sure wish I had started with a kit when I started... I could have afforded far more remedies or more books!

Helios is the pharmacy of manufacture. There is no better homeopathic pharmacy.

CONS:

None that I can think of at all; isn't that rare!

Disclosure: I have no association with the remedy supplier, or the pharmacy, or any other vendor on Amazon. I do have a passionate love of homeopathy. The only profit I receive from this review is to see a good homeopathic product properly promoted.

Ever since I experienced the fast and scar free healing of a burn on my hand by taking a homeopathic remedy I was hooked. I don't go anywhere without my kit, and I especially like this one because it is so compact and has easy to read instructions. I have treated insect bites (mosquitos mostly),bee stings, fingers that were slammed in doors (instant relief from a screaming 3 yr old) and food poisoning, just to name a few. This kit is easy to put in a glove compartment or a suitcase to take on all sorts of excursions.

I love it.

I grew up on conventional medicine which temporarily masked my symptoms & always had its awful side effects. But then I discovered Homeopathy which heals the cause of the symptoms from the inside out without the worry of a typical pharmaceutical ad: "May cause bleeding, stroke, ulcers", etc. Homeopathy has offered true healing to me & my family for colds, flus, fractures, bruises, dental work, frozen shoulder, allergies, eczema, sore throats, fevers, lacerations, bee stings, rashes, sunburn, impetigo, molluscum contagiosum, earaches, muscle soreness & more. Homeopathy has been a blessing to us & we are grateful!

Porous Ortho Tape 2"x10yd (Box of 6 Rolls)

Porous Ortho Tape 2'x10ydI have tried a few Ortho Tape brands and I find this product a great tape and a great price. Due to some injuries and a surgery I need to wrap both my feet every day that I work for some comfort. I'm 62 years old and I am on my feet and moving my entire work day. Other tapes I have tried were too difficult to remove and left my skin irritated at the least. Others that were OK the price was ridiculas for my daily needs. I found this Porous Ortho Tape a great product and affordable.

Dixie Ems Dixiegear First Responder Stocked Trauma First Aid Kit, Blue

Dixie Ems Dixiegear First Responder Stocked Trauma First Aid Kit, BlueI'd been researching quite a bit, trying to find a good first aid kit for my family's emergency backpack (to be kept in the car we're in earthquake territory). It seems like other first aid kits just didn't offer enough. That's when I realized I needed to include the word "trauma" in my searches. This lead me to many more appropriate kits that were larger and had a larger variety of necessary items. However they were a lot more money. This one seemed too good to be true when I saw it here on Amazon so I actually called the company in Brooklyn, N.Y. Hopefully I didn't make the guy rethink what they're selling cause I kept saying what a good deal it seemed to be. ;) The bag is about the size I'd imagined not as small as most first aid bags but not one of these big tote ones you imagine the pros having either. It's a good medium size, maybe a bit larger than I expected but not too large for putting in an emergency backpack. Also, if you don't add a lot more items to it, it's flexible so you can shove it in there or even empty contents (use just the bags inside it) if you're really concerned about space. It's a good bright color (blue) and sturdy and roomy, and has two roomy pockets on either side that are empty. I put toiletries on side and water-purification items on the other. The items came in two sealed bags and everything inside seems to be of good quality, e.g. scissors don't seem flimsy at all and everything else seems to be of good quality as well. We'll add excedrin and sunscreen and other things we might need (and if I saw iodine in there can't remember now be careful cause iodine allergies can be deadly though most people aren't allergic).

My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a little booklet of instructions including CPR, but I assume that's cause it's more of a professional's bag. Frankly, I wouldn't have the first clue about how to use the CPR mask and all its little contraptions, nor a lot of the other stuff. I'm also planning on calling them back to see if they have their own booklet of instructions I can get from them just cause it'll fit the products better. If not, I'll just go buy one. So with that in mind, it's not quite as inexpensive if I have to go buy a book still!

Last thing I want to say is that there's a lot of stuff in those bags so I suggest looking them over in advance with some sort of instruction book (however you get it) unless you're already a pro because if you have an emergency on your hands and have to rummage through the stuff, it might be a bit overwhelming. What's nice is that each of the two plastic transparent bags have lists facing the outside which say what's inside of each bag. So that will definitely help.

Edit: I finally got all the stuff out the other night and organized and labelled each item, separating them into smaller ziplock style bags. Since these will be in an emergency backpack which needs to be lightweight, the big bag it came with is just taking up room and adding unnecessary weight albeit not much. What I did while doing this is I looked up youtube videos about how to use each of these items, based on the items' names that were on the lists the bag came with. So now I have a fairly strong understanding of how to use these things. I also added a few items to such as a Quikclot, a thermometer, a CPR mask to go with the shield, a pen light that has replaceable batteries, israeli battle dressing (compression bandage to wrap around a pad on a wound), a pair of latex-free gloves (which brings it to two pairs which should be enough for true emergencies), aspirin in case of a heart attack, tweezers, and a small mirror. Many of these ideas are thanks to other people's suggestions in these reviews.

I started looking into a first aid kit to keep in my car to be used in case of an emergency to either to help someone or myself. I even bought a first aid kit years ago, which consisted mostly of band aids and was sufficient for minor cuts and scratches, but not nearly enough for serious emergencies.

In a typical car accident these small injuries are the least of your worries. In a serious accident you get bleeding, head injuries, broken bones, burns, knocked out teeth, loss of conscious, shock, and even a cardiac arrest. That's when I started looking for a trauma kit.

Things I've added to the kit:

3 Pairs of non-latex gloves

1 36" SAM Splint

2 SAM Finger Splints

1 35g Celox pouch

1 CAT Tourniquet

1 Halo Chest Seal

1 6" Israeli bandage

1 Ambu Res-Cue CPR mask (in addition to the CPR Face Shield)

1 bottle of eyewash solution

1 Save-A-Tooth

1 Silver Cinch Compression Combat Dressing (The "H" Bandage)

1 Z-Pak

6 3M Steri-Strip reinforced Skin Closures

1 metal tweezers

2 packets of uncoated 325mg Aspirin

Things I'm not keeping:

wire splint (replaced by the SAM splint)

tourniquet (replaced by the CAT tourniquet)

airway kit (requires special training to use, and takes up a lot of space)

seat belt cutter (replaced by an EMS knife)

I'm not sure whether or not I'll keep the ammonia inhalants. Some people have allergies, and it is often better to keep the casualty unconscious while medics get there.

The bag is now fully packed, and there is no more space left in it, except perhaps for a bottle of aspirin, and minor stuff. But I think, I've included everything I wanted.

There are a lot of trauma kits available, some are big and expensive EMT/paramedic-level kits, and some are small for individual use. I needed something in-between to keep the casualty alive for these 10-20 minutes until the ambulance gets on scene. That's why I didn't include things like a needle decompression kit, and am removing the airway kit.

I think this is the best trauma kit available on the market for the money for someone without a healthcare provider training, but in my opinion it is not complete. I do have First Aid and CPR training, but to be honest, these classes teach so little, that I had to learn more stuff on my own, especially, how to deal with trauma. So besides adding the above stuff to the kit, I had to learn how to actually use it.

Before buying the additional items, I carefully researched each of them. For example, I decided to replace the supplied tourniquet with the CAT tourniquet, because the latter one has 100% success rate, according to some army research; so does Celox, that's why I chose it over QuikClot.

Yes, these quality items are not cheap, and I've spent more on them then on the trauma kit itself. But if it helps me or someone else, then it is worth it.

The bag itself perfectly fits under my seat, and is not too large, but big enough to fit all of the extra stuff I bought for it. I just wish it had a bit more pockets, although there is one Velcro pocket that can be attached to either side of the middle compartment.

I do recommend this trauma kit, but if I had to look for one again, I'd probably buy an empty bag and get individual items separately. I have done enough research to put one together myself.

As a patrol officer I have been meaning to get a med kit for some time but hadn't found one that really had what all I wanted. This kit caught my attention and I ordered it. For the price you cant beat the quality and amount of medical gear a first responder needs. I couldn't speak on behalf of a medic but for a patrolman it has anything I would need to patch up one of my own until the medics arrive including a nice tourniquet. Overall very happy, hopefully ill never have to use it but its good to know its there if I do.

This kit is great and has everything a good starter kit needs. The bag actually includes an organizer for the main compartment which let me fit everything in the center section while still staying organized. It also has non latex bandages which is great for those with latex allergies. The 1 pair of gloves that the kit comes with seem to be latex, though.

I just added in more gloves, a better CPR mask (the one the kit comes with is a face shield type), some extra gauze pads, misc pain killers/meds, and an ace bandage wrap. These went into one side of the bag. I put some emergency food bars and water in the other side of the bag.

Mueller Sling Bag, Empty

Mueller Sling Bag, EmptyArrived well before expected delivery date for one. It also has many handy pockets and is a good size. I didn't buy it for myself, but the friend i bought it for loves it.

I'm an Athletic Trainer and the bag is pretty good for holding what I need for football & rugby coverage. Everything is easily accessible for the most part, with the exception of a couple deeper, inside pockets. It's comfortable to wear, comfortable to jog in when getting to an acute on-field injury. I was originally using a medium-sized fanny pack that I wore as a sling. This pretty much makes up for what I was using previously & is more ergonomic. I would recommend it!

This is a good kit. I'd say the only coplaint is the one large pocket. It makes it easy to loose things in the bottom of it but that all depends on what you are putting into your kit. There are smaller dividers on the front and back sides of the kit.

The bag arrived early. I use it for athletic training and it has been very useful. The front pocket is pretty small, but good for the little things that could get lost in the big pocket. The tape loop on the outside is big enough for a couple rolls of tape. The cell phone pocket is big enough for a smart phone (I have an evo shift). I have really enjoyed having this bag!

I like the bag. The one thing I dislike the most is that the strap comes across my left side and most one strap bags come across from your right so that is what I am used. It feels awkward. I don't know if it is due to that reason, but the bag doesn't lay close to my body while on my back. It feels lopsided while on. I think it is because the ending of the strap is located at the top close to where the beginning of the strap starts, making it unbalanced. Lastly, I wish there were more zippers than Velcro.

Scissors: 5.5" Lister Bandage- Half Black

Scissors: 5.5' Lister Bandage- Half BlackI ordered these scissors because everyone else at the Vet hospital I work at has plain silver ones so I wanted mine to be different enough so if I misplaced them, I would easily be able to identify them. The handles are a nice smooth black color and the bandage scissors cut easily, for the most part. They feel sturdy in my hands. the only reason I won't give them a 5 is because of the cutting. They are sharper down near the ends, but when I have to cut catheter tape on a big dog and try to cut the whole thing at once (I like to see the blunt tip coming out of the other side of the wrapped tape, 2-4 inches of Zonas tape) I have a hard time with the cutting closest to the inside of the scissors. They aren't quite as sharp as the ends. Other than that they work great :)

i love the fact that the handles are black, making them unusual. however there is a very rough area on the scissors that i received. it was purchased as a gift, so a bit disappointed. it was shipped quickly. sharp enough for gauze dressings.
