I just recieved this kit today 3/23/11 for my get home bag, long story. I digress I took it apart and I was quite impressed with the items found iniside. The knife is okay and the pencil a little on the skimpy side, but both are easily replaceable, otherwise the case and the other material that come with it, are quite surprisingly good and it has a few pieces of paper for reorder. I think this kit is worth the money though a bit expensive, still worth it.

This kit and a space blanket should be added to your pack or pocket on any hike as a minimum. This is lightweight and it takes up very little space. I like the pocket concept. It's a survival kit that's more likely to be with you when you need it. These are quality items even if they are small.

The Plus version of Doug Ritter's excellent Pocket Survival Pak adds some highly useful items.

Not a huge fan of the tiny flashlight or the pencil in the kit if you get one of these and keep the pencil, consider wrapping it past the tip with a bit of electric tape this will keep it from dusting graphite inside your kit from normal pocket jostling... and it will give you a bit of electric tape. Also planning on replacing the little flashlight with a Photon keyring light or a unit that clips to the bill of a cap.

This is a great starting point for assembling your own larger user-specific kit. Add a "space blanket" or two, find a convenient place to carry some paracord and a few trash bags and you should be in pretty good shape for weathering an unexpected over-nighter.

I had recently ordered the above product based on the type of ring cutter shown in the picture. Believing that this is what I would receive. I have had problems with other types of ring cutters before and I find the plier type to be most effective and more comfortable for me and the patient. This is not what I received; I received a CHEEZY CHINCY version of a ring cutter more like the standard type with the thumb button to apply pressure. Also the blade was busted and flat spotted. I immediately contacted the seller (JEWELDENT) who was less than helpful, who (without any apology or concern) just told me nothing more than to return the product to AMAZON for a refund instead of attempting to take care of the product themselves. I have sensitive skin with dishydrotic dermatitis on my hands and feet, and mild to moderate eczema on my inner arms and lower legs. I also will break out in hives along my hairline on my face for a myriad of reasons. This does a great job of calming the itch of the hives and the itch on my arms and legs. Note that hydrocortisone will thin your skin and you should make sure to use plenty of sunscreen if you are using these products to keep from excessive sun damage. You should also not use this stuff a lot, the instructions say 3-4 times a day, but on your sensitive facial skin, you may want to consider even less (consult your physician)

I love this stuff, and it helps a very sensitive situation.

This is very convenient for camping. I keep it in my camping stuff to wipe on bugbites and irritation, and for that it works fairly well. But it seems like it works no better than my 5% cream version from the same company..

Shred Matrix

If you're more of a pure athlete, then SM might be your thing. But, if you need more intensity and faster results (like me), then there's better stuff out there. I compared this with BELDT: Force Thermogenic over the course of two months and the difference is night and day. With SM I lost 4 lbs. BFT helped me cut 9. The dosage with SM is also a bit much (6 pills a day). BFT only requires 2. I think I may have paid a couple dollars more for BFT, but it was worth it since I cut more fat in less time.

I'm an huge gym nut. I love to bulk up in the winter (200+) then cut down for summer (195 lean). Unfortunately because of my body type, I need an extra little push when it comes to my cut phase.

I've tried several different variants of fat burners, some have worked great while others not so much. If you have been in the supplement game you know that your milage will always vary depending on if your body is a responder.

Now on to the review:

The ingredient list if fairly comprehensive with a multi-stage approach to fat-loss. While each ingredient has been shown to reduce or aid in fat-loss it is uncertain if this product holds enough of each to adequately achieve those results. In my opinion (and body type), no. Another deal breaker for me, but may be an advantage for those more sensitive to stimulants, is the amount of caffeine contained in this product. If you are caffeine sensitive, this product should be fairly mild for you, personally I need the extra boost for while at the gym. I quit my N.O. products while on a cut program because I hate to be overstimulated, but with this product I noticed zero caffeine so it made my day/routine rather sluggish.

All in all, while not for me, this is a great entry level fat burner, especially those with caffeine sensitivity, personally for the price I would rather go with a CLA or ALA based product and pocket the extra money. Again, if you have never experienced a thermo product before and want to tread lightly, give it a shot. It may work for your body type. But mesomporhs beware, it will probably not result in the gains/losses you are looking for.

First of all this is the first fat loss product I have ever taken. I am 28 been working out for 3 years strong. I'm 5'8 and was recently 185 lbs. I just started taking this product March 19th so I cant really tell much you much about the product. On Monday when I recieved it, I was so excited to start because of all the postive reviews I read. Well I got it on Monday and took 3 pills around 2:30pm est. I wasn't jitter AT ALL!!! These pills do not give you any of that. So I was like ok I dont think these are going to work but then on Tuesday I took the 3 pills at 8:30am, I wasn;t jitter but boy did I wanna not sit down and I couldn't stop talking. Literally I wiped my kitchen counters down 5times in like 30mins cause I needed something to do. I wasnt hungry so I didnt feel the need to eat. Then at about 12:30 I took the next 3pills as it said too. I noticed that I still didnt eat so I ate me two pieces of peanut butter bread. Just so I had something on my stomach. Come 5pm I still wasnt hungry but my family was and I knew I wasn't going to beable to get home and cook dinner and have my kids in bed by 8pm so I stopped at Mcdonalds and got myself 2 snack wraps even thou I wasn't hungry, still ate them just because I know from personal good that I can't strave myself.

About myself, I am a 27yr old female with three kids. Back in April of 2011 I weighted 260pds. Yes a very unhealthy person, lazy, didnt want to do anything, didnt care what I ate. Nothing mattered to me. My kids woke me up the month when it was getting nice outside and wanted to do things outside and I could do anything with them cause I was too fat. So I started walking 5miles a day for 2months. Lost 30lbs. Then gave up like everybody does cause people do that. Well I didnt gain anything back just maitained. As of now I went from 260pds down to 202lbs as of March 21st 2012. I didn't buy this product to think it was a mircale pill cause nothing is a mircale pill. YOU HAVE TO EAT RIGHT AND EXERCISE. I bought it because of all the stages it goes thru and I really need that. I am sure I will lose something by taking these pills. I have another 60lbs to go to get to my goal weight. I will try to update this in a week or two and if I do see a change I will buy more because 120pills only last you 2weeks with taking 6 a day. About the bathroom issue people are having. I haven't had that problem really. I usually go twice a day and for the two days I have been taking this I have had a change. If I atelast lose 5lbs I would rate this 5 stars but like i said its too early to give it that yet. Look for updates.

****So here is a update.. I went from 202lbs to 197lbs in 5 days. That was awesome. I dont feel the mood changing part at all. I still feel the same as I always do. I will be buying this product again in a few days since it is the first that I have seen great results. Please disreguard people that say it makes them jittery cause I yet to experince that and have been taking for almost two weeks now and have not felt that. I would mos def recommend to somebody that is at a platue in their weight lost and need a extra push. I will let you in on a little serect that worked for me to get faster results. The bottle says to take 3pills in the early morning then 3 more pills in the early afternoon. Well for my body I didn't feel like 6 pills a day was working for me so I bumped it up to 4 in the am in 4 in the afternoon and I took them 6 hours apart and thats when I really starting to see the weight drop off. But dont just jump right in and do that. I waited a week before I did that so I could make sure I could handle it. I will send another update in about another two weeks so people really can see it works.

Cinch Tight Bandage

Took out of bag and was a pain and time consuming to unravel. Self-aid would be a major deal with this. Red tip fell off hook upon opening. I assume the tip was useful and it is therefore bad that it fell off.

I have had to use this in an emergency before. It worked well and the medical staff at the hospital were surprised by the securing hook. H&H products used to be available only in full med kits so when I found this for sale I bought a few of them. It is not as compact as the picture looks. (That's an old photo.) They are shipped broader than that. I did not like that but it is a good bandage.

Don't waste your money! Ad said it was 170 items but when you get it the case says it has only 140. Individual band-aids count as one and it's mostly band-aids (114). The remaining items are a first aid pamphlet, the case, two latex gloves, a small roll of tape, two small amounts of Neosporin, seven gauze pads, one burn gel pad, one cold pack and three cleansing wipes. That's only 132 pieces and if you count the cardboard divider it's 133. A gross misrepresentation and Johnson and Johnson should be ashamed of this product. Not worth the money and would never buy it again.

It's a wonderfully light powder and I use it in all my sweat areas. Even on my feet!

Love the non-caking aspect and cornstarch. I can't see me ever using another kind of powder as they all seem so heavy, and laden with scents, etc. This one has a very slight fragrance, which doesn't bother me in the least, but my sister, who is allergic to perfumes, could not use it.

I got burned on my hand cooking and it had burn cream and band-aids. I got my hand cut hiking and it had alcohol wipes antibiotic cream and band aids. I got a splinter on firewood and the tweezers had out in a minute. Its lightweight, its soft so it squishes down small, and it takes up about as much space as a pair of socks so its great for camping and backpacking.

the straw for me to go ahead and order was that one reviewer said it came with a nice pair of scissors... he was right... very efficient, strong pair of tiny scissors in this bag... also tweezers, insect sting wipes, 3 different kinds of antiseptic/alcohol wipes (multiple of each), all different kinds of pain relief pills, all sorts of gauze AND tape, first aid cream, and a LOT of bandaids, of all shapes and sizes... i was worried there would not be enough bandaids, as I think that is most important part.

whoever reviewed and said it was the size of a deck of cards is a dimwit, just lying for some reason??? i dont get why people steer people in opposite directions here... defeats the purpose... the pack is as about the same size of a normal paperback book... I was willing to deal with its small size, cos i was curious how much stuff could fit...

theres room for MORE stuff in this pack, so before I camp the Kalalau trail, i will probably stuff it with more gauze, just in case...

i also love that there are four packets in pack, sure they may be cheap plastic, but the case is only open when u need it...
