I'm glad I purchased these, as I had a use for one of them a couple weeks back. I had one of my contacts roll up in my eye, and I couldn't get it out. 15 seconds with one of these and the contact rinsed out and ended up in the eye cup. Very handy to have in a pinch.

I wear contacts and also suffer from a lot of allergies, so sometimes I just really need to rinse my eyes. These are very useful because like many have pointed out, if you are lucky enough to find just ONE at Walmart or a drug store, they are very expensive. These are cheap and I am able to keep one in each bathroom, one for travel, etc.

Just nice to have extras. These are VERY useful for basic eye washes; especially when allergies are bothering me.

The only drawback is a minor one. The original one I bought sits flush against the eye very well and sort of 'seals' in the water/rinse/solution. I usually hold it against my eye and blink rapidly, as well as 'look around' so that everything is rinsed evenly. These cups do not 'seal' against my eye; I have to press a bit harder (still not hard enough to cause any discomfort) and they still usually have some leakage of solution. Again; it is not a big deal; I just keep a towel handy.

The pictured item is the Fougera version and the item sent was a similar item sold by Perrigo. It wouldn't have taken much effort to have put the right item, or have emailed that a substitute was being sent. Sort of a a bait and switch, though I did not send the order back as anything with Dibucaine is better than nothing at all. Doesn't look like the Fougera product will be coming back on the market, anyway.

First Response® Early Result Pregnancy Test

I know the box says you can get a positive up to 5 days before your missed period, but everyone needs to understand that you CANNOT get a positive until after implantation occurs. This might happen early... but it also might not. Read the directions and the percentage of women who actually get a positive 5 or even 4 days early. I didn't get a positive with my son until AFTER I was a day late and with my daughter it was only 1 day early.

I bought these tests because most of the reviews and the manufacturer themselves claim that they are "the most sensitive on the market." I have to COMPLETELY disagree. I took this test a day before my missed period (NEGATIVE), the day of my missed period (NEGATIVE), two days after my missed period (NEGATIVE), and three days after my missed period (NEGATIVE).

I'm already a mom and have been pregnant before, and suspecting that I indeed was again, I decided to try a different test, E.P.T, on the third day of my missed period (immediately after I got the negative from the First Response). I got a VERY faint plus sign using the E.P.T., but a plus sign nonetheless (POSITIVE). To confirm, I tested the next morning with two other brands (ClearBlue and Generic), and also got positive results (this time much clearer and more obvious). For kicks, I tested with another First Response at the same time as I tested with the ClearBlue and Generic, and was appalled to see that it was still negative and obviously incorrect at this point.

I am fairly well educated on the subject of pregnancy and pregnancy testing, and I know all about implantation and the reasons why a pregnancy test can be negative for a few days after a missed period before it turns positive. I understand that first of the morning urine has the highest levels of HCG, and always made sure to test first thing in the morning. What I will never understand is why a test that is supposed to be so "ultra sensitive" didn't pick up on my pregnancy when literally every other test did. I finally got the FAINTEST positive on the First Response when I used the last test I had this morning, 5 days past my expected period. Bizarre.

I'm just glad that there are other brands out there that could easily confirm my suspicions, despite spending a small fortune on pregnancy tests. :-)

These used to be my gold standard. I'm an infertility patient and have taken a test or two or 18374627462 in my lifetime. If I was not pregnant, they were stark white. Painfully white. 1 hour, 2 hours, 10 weeks later, the test is still white.

They must have changed the test. I'll tell you why.

I tested 4 days before my period (11dpo). It was negative, but a few minutes after the allotted time, there was a faint line. I knew better than to believe that was a positive, but being FRER, who've never had evap lines, I was a little excited. I tested again a few hours later. Same thing. The next day, I tested with a NEW box, that I had on hand from a previous cycle.

Tecnu Outdoor Skin Cleanser, 4-Ounce

Poison ivy sucks. I just thought I'd share that bit of wisdom to start my review of this product to let you know that I have major sympathy for you.

I seem to be the only person to date that has rated this product at anything less than a 5. I was also inclined to rate Tecnu at a 5 but chose 4 to indicate that this isn't a miracle cure. And though it isn't a miracle cure, Tecnu is the best thing I've found and I've tried many other products, doctor prescribed and OTC.

The key to Tecnu sucess is as follows: If you know, or even suspect, you have poison ivy/oak/sumac you need to scrub with Tecnu, rinse, scrub with Tecnu, rinse, and repeat until you're just tired of scrubbing. And I mean SCRUB as if you can imagine you're trying to get the stickiest, dirtiest, tar off your skin. Nothing good can happen until that urushiol oil is off your skin. This can even be done once the rash first appears, which usually shows 2 days after I've been in it for me. By this point the Tecnu won't stop the rash from appearing but really helps limit the severity of the rash, the spread of the rash, and, thus, speeds the recovery.

If the rash has already gotten to the blistering stage then I think Tecnu isn't as helpful. Only because by that point the poison ivy has done it's damage and it's pretty hard to scrub blisters. I'd still scrub with Tecnu anyway to at least minimize spreading.

If you live or frequent an area that is known to have poison ivy, then you should have this product in your bathroom cabinet no excuses.

I first discovered this product about three years ago, two weeks after discovering I was allergic to poison ivy again. In total misery because it had spread and spread and spread and nothing would work to stop it, I went to the store desperate to find anything and spend (almost) any amount of money. The person working there suggested I try the Tecnu with the CalaGel. I started using it immediately, and within a day or so the itching had almost completely subsided (with use of the CalaGel) and the rash was starting to go away. (Note that this was after it had been spreading nonstop for two weeks, and my next stop was the doctor.) Now, my husband and I use it every time we work out in the yard, and we don't have any more problems. The only complaint I have is how hard it is to find in the stores, and most stores only carry the 4oz bottle. If you regularly work in areas where poison ivy exists, you will need a larger bottle.

Great Stuff! Nothing but smiles here. My poison ivy was to the slightly painful blistering, nevermind the itching, and transfer stage. A neighbor recommended Tecnu and after the 1st application I had tremendous relief. Applied twice more over the next 12 hours when getting slightly itchy again. That was it, all gone except for some red marks. I am confident that I will not be suffering from poison ivy in the future.

Scarguard MD 0.5 fl oz.

Hi. Yeah, this stuff smells like nail polish when you open it and put it up to your nose / and first going on. But don't worry, it doesn't keep smelling like that. The smell fades fast. This is best used on body parts that are NOT visible to the public like breasts (after surgery) and cesarean section scars etc...because after you put it on it dries and looks like paper on your skin. Yes, paper. Very thin, translucent paper that won't come off your skin IF you have it covered by a bra or underwear. BUT if you put it on an active area of your body like elbow or leg, sure, it's going to flake right off with movement. BUT if you use it for conditions like I mentioned above, can deal with a little stink and mess putting it on / both don't last and the area is then covered with a bra or clothing for the day no poblem and IT WORKS GREAT. BUT if you have an active area that other people see and it's not covered I'd go with Kelocote gel (buy from Ebay 60gm tube best deal / no I don't sell it there). Oh don't get it here... get this product (Scarguard) at CVS. I did. It was $20.00 and 50% off! DEAL. Okay, that's the scoop. Been using it for a month and scars are nearly GONE. Don't let anyone tell you nothing will remove scars completely--they just haven't tried this stuff yet. Don't fret at the smell or appearance of it just know it's for the MUCH greater good... and use on places no one sees... (but then if no one sees it why use it?) Good question. Because we don't like scars seen or unseen, they are all seen by US. Take care.

With this product you receive a little bottle that looks like clear nail polish. And guess what? It also smells like nail polish, is applied like nail polish, and dries like nail polish. But it's not as thick as nail polish so it flakes and peels off almost as soon as it dries. I can't say if it really works or not because I couldn't find a way to keep it on my scar. I would recommend trying silicone sheets, cost is about the same and I saw a vast improvement with them.

My surgeon specifically recommended ScarGuard ScarCare to treat the scars following surgery (after the proper healing time). I happened to read a few reviews before purchasing and I'm so glad I did! Between those and my own experience I can recommend this product. I've been using it for about 6 months now (have gone through 2 1/2 bottles) and the scarring is very minimal. I plan on continuing to use it for another 6 months as per the doctor's recommendation.

What I've learned that may be helpful:

Don't use the cap with brush...it doesn't seal well and the brush is not the best way to apply the liquid.

Keep and continue to use the small, red plug and cap without brush that it ships with.

Use your middle finger apply with your finger over the opening, turn the bottle upside down and give a little shake/flick to get a decent amount on your finger tip. Immediately smooth (for long scars) or dab (for small scars) onto scar.

Apply 2-3 coats per use on long scars.

It'll flake up and look like its not adhering, but it is. The edges tend to peel away and look ridiculous. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes and then gently rub the loose flakes off. The center portion should be shiny and firmly adhered to the scar. If not, apply again! My scars are under clothing, so I don't have to worry too much about the flaking, but I read other reviewers complaining about it.

It doesn't look good with make-up applied the packaging claims you can apply make-up over it once its dried and they're technically correct. You CAN apply make-up, but it doesn't look natural it looks like a wart. In my case, the small scar I was trying to lighten looked better minus make-up at all. I only apply at night to that one.

Last summer I was out running and took a bad fall that gave me deep cuts on my knee and forehead. I probably should have gone to the emergency room for stitches, but I didn't and ended up with some nasty looking scars.

So I bought a bottle of ScarGuard because the scar on my forehead was quite unattractive. I didn't bother treating the scar on my knee because I really don't care how my knee looks. After faithfully using ScarGuard twice a day for about 3 months now, the scar on my forehead is barely visable, but the untreated scar on my knee is still the way it was originally.

I'm not sure if the product will work for everyone, but it clearly worked for me.

My only complaint and the only reason for 4 starts is that it leaves a silicone film on the scar that looks a little strange.

I see that other people have complained about the smell, but I didn't find it that bad, and it smells only briefly while applying it.

Another person had a problem with the cap, but the cap I used was fine. The company may have corrected the problem.

I had a birthmark on my neck that was fairly large, I would like to say the size of two quarters. I went and got Cryosurgery done to get the birthmark removed (three treatments). After the third time of the cryosurgery a keloid scar was left over that was very large and noticeable. So I started to use ScarGuard MD and in two days it actually shrunk double it size. I have been using scarguard MD for about one week now and the scar is almost completely gone, I am so glad I found this product. I finally wont feel self conscious about my birthmark/scar anymore

CON:

The only downside I have with this product is that when you apply this product it can get just a little itchy. I don't find this to be a major problem but the only reason why I am mentioning this is that it is very IMPORTANT not to scratch your scars. If you want your scars to go away you can not scratch them. after two minutes of applying ScarGuard MD the itchiness will go away after the hydrocoritisone is soaked into your scar.

I have day by day pictures of my scar healing with ScarGuard MD, if you would like I would be more then willing to show you how my scar has healed with this product. I stand by this product and even appreciate the fact that I stumbled upon it.

Lambs Wool Lamb's Wool Padding

The image for the product is completely incorrect; I just received a plastic-wrapped pack of lamb's wool, which is what I wanted. It's nice for putting in the toe of high-heeled boots to have a little cushion for my toes. It does stick exceedingly well to your socks though (if that's what you choose to use it for as well). For $4 or so, you get about 5-6 uses.

Being an amputee, this product is indispensable, and not available locally, glad I found it!

After hunting for a way to help with a pair of shoes that are too big, I came across this as a possible solution. It does work well and is comfortable. I wish there was a product that was made out of lamb wool, but was shaped for the toe area of shoes so that it wasn't just loose. If I could sew, I might be able to fashion such a thing...

Unfortunately, after ordering this, I found a cheaper lambs wool on amazon (with prime shipping as well). This product doesn't (or at least didn't at the time I ordered) list the amount of wool. It is 10.6 grams. The other lambs wool is the exact same amount, but at half the price. I can't vouch for the other products quality though, so that could be a reason for the price discrepancy. But if I order again, I would try the other product because it's cheaper.

I used this bonding cement to glue the ears of my German Shepherd and it worked great.It held strong for over a week even with two other ones biting on the ears and playing rough.

I used this to attach molefoam to the insides of my puppy's ears. There was no need to wait the prescribed 3-4 minutes to get it to stick one minute was quite adequate. It worked great but did leave a residue when it fell off ten days later. Even though I used an adhesive removal permeated paper I really had to work to remove it. Wet Ones moist towelettes really do a great job of helping you clean up your hands and face when you can't get to a sink with soap and water! These are indeed great for fighting off bacteria; and they have a light, mild scent that I like, too.

Just as the other reviewer noted, these are easy to pull out of their dispenser. Just open the canister and pull one out, one at a time until you're done with the canister--then get another one! I am sure that once you try this product you will be very satisfied.

The canister is small enough to fit into a travel sized carry on piece of luggage; and this is great if you want to avoid public restrooms in airports, bus and train stations, and airplane bathrooms, too.

One thing: if you are allergic to scents or perfumes you may want to try another product. I don't mind the mild scent but you may if you're allergic to it.

Overall, you can't go wrong with Wet Ones! I have used these forever with great satisfaction.

We have used this product for several years, but it seems to have disappeared from the supermarket shelves in Perth, other than in small pocket packets.

I love Wet Ones, especially the Fresh Scent. They're very wet, but not too sloppy wet, and really handy. I don't think I've seen them in bigger than the 40-count, at least in the stores, and I would like bigger counts, but aside from that, they're super handy and pleasant to use. The dispenser is great, too. I've used Clorox Disinfecting Wipes and the new Mr. Clean Disinfecting Wipes, which are NOT for personal use and use on skin, but to use their dispensers as examples, Wet Ones has a much better one. The plug for the dispenser features a threader, and you just stick that through the slit in the top, thread the first wipe through threader, put the top back on, and pull, and the first wipe comes out easily! And so do the rest, right on till the end! Once in a while, more than one will come out at a time, but that hasn't happened too much for me. The Fresh Scent is my favorite; I don't care so much for the Citrus Scent (the other that I've tried), but other than the scent, they're just as good.

Used this for an abdominal surgical wound for twice daily dressing changes. Abdominal skin is very sensitive and I the fabric tape and plastic tape were tearing my skin and causing sores. This tape helped a lot and did a good job sticking.

My "Wound Care" specialist recommended the 3M Micropore Tape for me since I am very sensitive to just about every other tape\adhesive that has been tried in the past. This has been a really good find as after two weeks of use I haven't had any reaction and my condition will likely require use of the tape for several more months.

The tape is strong and holds very well. I like that it is perforated and can be hand torn into convenient sizes at about 2" increments. Like all long term use tapes, it will leave some sticky adhesive residue on your skin when it is removed, but it is fairly easy to remove by gently rubbing the area with a warm dampened washcloth.

We also use Box of 4 3M Micropore Surgical Tape 3" x 10 yds White 3M 1535-03 as well, with the same great results!
