Equate - Nicotine Lozenge 2 Mg, Stop Smoking Aid, Cherry Flavor, 108-Count

Equate - Nicotine Lozenge 2 Mg, Stop Smoking Aid, Cherry Flavor, 108-CountI used to smoke and then quit little difficulty by using Copenhagen instead. Not exactly a healthy alternative. Fortunately I was able to quit dipping thanks to the nicotine lozenges. I place one under my lip like I would a pinch of tobacco and really haven't felt any cravings or urges to try dipping again. I actually find that they last a very long time and is much more discreet than dipping in public or on the job where doing so is frowned upon to say the very least.

The cherry taste is very pleasant. I prefer these to the mint flavored ones personally.

I originally began by using the 4mg lozenges but was soon able to cut down to the 2mg version as sold here. I can feel myself becoming less and less reliant on these as well, but honestly see little harm in using these.

I would suggest these for anyone trying to quit smoking, dipping, or chewing tobacco. It's a great appetite suppressant as well.

It takes away my cravings when I need one and helped me to quit smoking! I recommend to anyone trying to quit!

I'm so grateful that this product came about. Once again it's allergy season and there are times when the oral medications just don't do it. Equate Nasal Spray clears a stuffy nose in just a few minutes. The only thing you need to be careful of is not to use it to much. Using it more than the recommendxed amount can get your nasal passages "hooked" on this spray. It's also suggested that you use it no more than 3 days. Since this is the only reasonable allergy product for me, (since insurance no longer covers any of the oral medications)I use it only when absolutely necessary. I write down when I use it, and how many sprays I used. Except in rare situations, I don't ever use more than 3 squirts in each nostril twice a day. Bottomm line, I'm one of this products biggest fans, you just need to use some common sense, if you can get away using less of the spray, the better. The product I used prior to Equate Nasal Spray was a "brand nasal spray,) but it is more expensive and I can't tell a difference!

ACE Reusable Cold Compress

ACE Reusable Cold Compress LargeEvery night I do three miles on my treadmill and due to arthritis and bone spurs in my feet and a torn disc in my back I always have to apply ice to those areas afterward. Over the years I was forced to use those "clear-plastic-gel-like" compresses. The problem with those type products are 1) you have to (and are warned on the product) to wrap in a towel to apply. 2) They have a rather short life cycle before the "icky" gooey gel starts leaking on your towel... on you... on your furniture.

When a friend of mine found this brand for me... I can't tell you how many drug stores I went to, that not only didn't have them... but acted like I was from another planet when I asked for them. My friend lives in another city and would buy them for me and have to ship them to me. These cold compresses are provided encased in a strong "fabric-like-material", hence I nicknamed them "INDUSTRIAL-STRENGTH" COLD COMPRESSES. You do not need to wrap in a towel. You apply them directly to the required area. Though they too eventually wear out, they last much longer and feel more comfortable. I recommend them head and shoulders above the garden variety "plastic-like" cold-compresses of yester-year.

currently i am dealing with sciatica and need to keep icing my back. i purchased 2 of these packs and they have been a godsend. they are the perfect size to place on my lower back and can easily help for your neck or other part of the body as its a size that works well anywhere. depends on how cold u have your freezer set it will either be a bit stiff or completely lose like a before you placed it in the freezer, but either way it holds the cold very well. the fabric itself feels like cloth and is designed to go right on your skin instead of needing to be wrapped in a towel which is nice. you can place it on and not feel the burn on your skin. i ice my back for a bout 25-30 minutes at a time and the packs last long enough to do the job. once you put them back in the freezer they take less than two hours before you can use them again. if you are unlucky like me and need to ice your aching body then i highly recommend this product.

These cold packs leak, although they are a great idea. I use cold packs all the time after exercise, and after recent outpt. surgery. Unfortunately, if you bend them to wrap them around a foot (for instance), they soon start to leak the gel from inside. I'd suggest the Nextcare line of hot/cold packs instead, as they are about the same size and have proven to be much more durable.

Exactly what I wanted. These cannot be bought in pharmacy's anymore for whatever reason. I have been using them for years and like the larger size. Since they are reuseable that are quite economical. I was amazed that they are no longer available but through the internet.

The ACE Reusable Cold Compress (Large) provides excellent pain relief for my swollen knees after a workout. It is flexible when ice cold, and the material actually does allow me to place the compress directly against my skin without too much shock or chill. But the compress is not "large." It might wrap around the knee or thigh of a child, but not of an adult.

Dmso Gel 70/30 Unfrag Plas

DMSO Gel Unfragranced 4 oz.My MD recommended DMSO for osteoarthritis in my knee. It works almost instantly!

Stops pain and inflamation. Use carefully, read the instructions, it's worth it.

I picked the DMSO gel unfragranced because I prefere the gel and no fragrance. DMSO has worked for my aches and pains in the past and I like the gel as opposed to other formulas. I would recommend this product to others that are familiar with DMSO and would also recommend the seller for excellent service and price.

Stérimar Nasal Hygiene Set of 2x100ml

Stérimar Nasal Hygiene Set of 2x100mlI love this product, it works great for my allergies. Used to use Afrin Pure Sea, it is not sold on the market anymore, this product is from the company Afrin got their product from. Been using this for over 3 years and my nasal allergies are 100% better. Super excited I can finally use this cleanse again

It is just sea water. The gas charge gets the solution where it needs to go without making a big mess. Much neater than Neti Pot and those plastic squirt bottles like Ayr. And if it is easy to use and not messy you will use it more. It has kept me from having my routine sinus infections. It has already paid for itself in avoidance of doctor copays.

Nose Aid Emergency Nose Bleed Treatment

Nose Aid Emergency Nose Bleed TreatmentPurchased five of these during a series of severe nosebleeds. Wanted convenient recourse, readily at hand, such as in cars, brief cases, pockets, etc., but have not had to use it. Quality seems acceptable, but by the time shipping is paid, device costs much more than it should. Unfortunately, could not be located in stores.

We had been given a nose pincher just like this one in the ER years ago. It was recently lost and needed to be replaced. I looked at all the local stores, even going into a specialty pharmacy that carries "everything", but could not find one. I was relieved to find them on Amazon! I purchased several and keep them in each bathroom and even send them to summer camps with the kids. I love these! They work wonders to quickly stop a bloody nose. Highly recommended!

I found out that nose clips existed after visiting the emergency room with an unstoppable nosebleed. Finally, an easy, comfortable alternative to holding my nose by hand for ten long minutes. These are virtually identical to the ones they use. Good to have a supply for my frequent nosebleeds. Well worth the minimal cost

Keeps your nose pinched and you might look funny while wearing it but once people know what it is (especially here at work) then they want one. I am going to buy one for everyone this next Christmas as a stocking stuffer! Really! I first got the idea because that is what the schools use to control a nosebleed. Safe for everyone.

Adventure Medical Kits UltraLight and Watertight

Adventure Medical Kits UltraLight & Watertight .9 KitThis is an outstanding and comprehensive kit for its size. It is a big brother to the also excellent .5 and .7 models. I prefer this one as I appreciate a bit of extra gear for extended overnighters or for when I have family or friends along on dayhikes. The kit covers basic first aid needs that you may encounter on hiking, camping, climbing, or boating adventures, and also works quite well for a car-bound first aid kit. Below is a breakdown of main points and features:

* Very water resistant The contents of the bag come in two Dryflex bags (basically snazzy plastic bags with zip-lock closures) contained in a silnylon sack with taped seams and a water resistant zipper. I am very hesitant to call anything waterproof unless it takes a serious dunking in water over an extended period of time. This kit is fairly well protected, though, and can take serious rain without damaging the contents inside. This amounts to a kit that will stand up to adverse conditions and still be there when you need it most. I would take normal precautions with this (potentially lifesaving) gear and not let it sit in water, of course.

* Compact Though bigger in girth than the .5 and .7 versions, it is still quite small and lives discreetly at the bottom of my 18 liter daypack. While I can say that it's perhaps too large for a short solo run, I would absolutely bring this for an extended trail run. One of the reasons I like this kit is that it gives me many more options while staying fairly compact. I know I have everything I need whether I am alone, hiking with four people, or overnight, or with my family in the backcountry for a week. Yes, it's a tad heavier and larger than the smaller kits, but only by a bit and this is one time when I appreciate the additional insurance that comes with a bit more girth and weight.

* Comprehensive this kit really covers a lot of ground: It's got medication for inflammation, pain, diarrhea, insect bites, and allergic reactions; it has an impressive range of bandages, gauze pads, and dressings; it's even got moleskin for blisters, tweezers for splinters and bee stingers, and an irrigation syringe; there's tape, safety pins, antiseptic wipes and ointment, and an elastic bandage for sprains. Heck, it's even got a measure of duct tape. It even has knuckle bandages, an often overlooked item for this very common and hard to cover area of injury. There are also a fair number of items that are likely to see frequent need: pads, bandages, etc.

* Flexibility Though well-outfitted, there is still room in the bag to customize or add personal medication. Personally, I augment the kit with a few extras: Water gel for burns (including sunburn), lip balm, a couple of small QuickClot pads for bleeding, a larger Afterbite itch eraser (after having been nearly eaten alive by the vampire-like mosquitoes of Lassen NP in the early spring) and an assortment of small bandages that I know I go through quickly. This kit works equally well for day hikes, in the car, or weekend family camping trips.

* Value I think this kit is an exceptional value for it's size, quality, and number of components.

* Quality and durability This kit has had many things piled on top of it during many cycles of hiking, camping, and backpacking and has been opened and used many times. It has held up well. All the components I have used have been high quality, the adhesive on bandages never being weak or cheap.

I've been using the older version of this kit for years and have gotten the updated version for my day pack. Be sure to regularly check the expiry dates of medications within your kit, just as you would any first aid or emergency supply kit and keep those perishable items rotated and fresh. I consider this to be a core element of my kit and can recommend it highly. Five stars!

I recently purchased this for someone else to take on their backpacking trip. I am an EMT in Montana, and I am very impressed with the amount of quality equipment they packed in there. Weight is a huge factor when you are hiking, and this kit weighs next to nothing, yet still has enough stuff to do a lot of work if needed. This has got to be, by far, the lightest and most versatile first aid kit out there for hiking/backpacking, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This first aid kit looks great, and is ideal for the 3-5 person hiking/camping trips that I take with friends and with family. However, the item shipped to me from Amazon was full of expired medical items. I purchased a similar item from a local outdoor-ing retailing. Give yourself enough time to expect a refund before getting a valid item.

This, and the .5 (for day hikes) are the only kits I carry now; I leave a larger kit in the vehicle. I haven't found a more useful and lightweight kit out there. Nothing but the essentials, with room for a few personal meds.

I think this and the .5 are the best buys for the money -the .7 isn't enough more or less.

If you are serious about weight, and confident in your abilities to manage a situation with a "limited" amount of gear, this is the kit for you.

New-Skin Liquid Bandage, First Aid Liquid Antiseptic, Over 50 Applications, 0.3 Fluid Ounce

New-Skin Liquid Bandage, First Aid Liquid Antiseptic, Over 50 Applications, 0.3 Fluid OunceI have been using this product since I was a kid, as my mom used it before me. She is a hairstylist, I am an electrician, but regardless of occupation, I can't imagine a time, (on appropriately sized wounds), that this product isn't perfect.

Does it sting? Yessir it does. I use it on wounds that are probably supposed to be to big for it, so believe me, I have dealt with some stinging. However, as some other reviewers have said, not only does the stinging subside relatively quick, but with it goes the original pain.

Does it stink? Eh, I guess, but when a product works, it's forgiven. Meet someone who is not the most attractive person in the world and then fall in love with them, it might not make them a beauty queen, but they look better all the time to you.

Simply put, this product, when used correctly, works. my recommendations are as follows.

1. Put this product on as you are watching your evening TV. This will accomplish three things, one, it allows you to apply and let dry without thinking about it, two, while you're sleeping, it seems to setup extra strong. It will not just rub off throughout the night, and with no hand washing or anything going on, it really has a chance to take. Finally, you at least have that first overnight period of healing under your belt, and you will often times be amazed at what that small amount of time can accomplish.

2. Apply New Skin generously. As it settles it will thin out, but how thin do you need it to be? I apply two, sometimes three coats.

Using these two tips, I have had wounds heal incredibly fast.

I've used liquid bandage for years, works really well. It is great to put over blisters when you need to keep doing the activity that gave you the blister. It is great on the knuckles under hand-wraps and boxing gloves, especially with new wraps or gloves, either for prevention or after you already have blisters. I've also used it on my thumb for bowling, to prevent blisters or cover up a blister that's already there. It is fairly waterproof as well, and great to put on before swimming. I recommend putting on a couple coats for the best protection, just wait for it to dry between applications. Also, try to apply it and let it dry outside, or at least somewhere with lots of ventilation...It has a strong odor that will stick around for a while.

***This is not a scientific study, all evidence presented is anecdotal. ***

I have now used New Skin twice on relatively large burns and abrasions with amazing results. Once was road rash after a bicycle race (~ 6 square inches over three wounds). The second was second and third degree burns from a camp fire (~ 4 square inches in two wounds).

The road rash healed with almost no scarring, despite being deep enough to burn through the skin and subcutaneous fat.

The burns are currently doing well, though it has only been a week and they have not healed completely.

I have not been able to find many details about using New Skin on wounds this large. I don't know if it is safe, or even a good idea, but it seems to work.

I have used both the spray and the brush applicator form of this product. The spray form is much easier to use and the liquid form is cheaper per application.

In both cases, I did not apply New Skin for hours or days after the injury occurred. When applying I cleaned the wound with an aniceptic wash and allowed it to air dry. After it was dry I applied an even coat over the entire area and a 5-10mm border around the wound. It formed an artificial scab. I reapplied twice a day to fill in cracks and maintain the border. If you reapply a full coat each time you end up with a huge accumulation after a few weeks (1-3mm).

The artificial scabs are transparent, so you ( and everyone around you if you're lucky enough to wound your hand) will be delighted with a view of what I believe is a mixture of plasma, platelets and blood. It looks like puss, but I think it's the liquid that dries to form real scabs (sometimes I spring a leak and it dries into a scab). IF THE WOUND BEGINS TO SWELL, FEEL HOT OR BECOME RED IT MIGHT BE INFECTED.

I get cracks on my fingers which make even washing my hands painful. Standard band-aids (even those that claim to be "waterproof") still allow water to get into the cracks/cuts -and end up falling off anyway once they get wet a few times. Enter "New Skin" liquid band-aid... it works much better than standard band-aids because it bonds directly to your skin. It works well, but I have two complaints...

1) If the cut is on an area that bends (fingers, knees, etc.), there is a good chance the product will eventually open up, breaking the band-aid "seal". It would be great if they could make the product even more flexible to better accommodate cuts on moving parts.

2)[For cuts on fingers] After a few hand-washings I find it starts to peel off at the edges, which makes it kind of look like peeling skin. That, coupled with the fact that the film enhances any redness of the wound, makes the wound look more nasty than it probably is.

Still, it works much better than a standard band-aid, so I would certainly recommend giving it a try. Maybe you won't have the same issues I do.

With MRSA and other Staph infections on the rise, I know that it's important to keep open wounds covered and protected. If you can't cover your wounds with clothing, this is the next best thing.

PS: As another review mentioned, it stings like hell when you first apply it (but you get used to it) and the odor is very strong (I would suggest stepping outside to apply it, or somewhere with good ventilation.

CELOX Trauma Gauze

CELOX Trauma GauzeDid some research and this looks like a great product. I wanted some for my camping/mountain biking young adult kids, especially after they paid a trip to an emergency room. The product came quickly and as described except......... product has a 3 year shelf life when new and this one had about 19 months left on it. Since it wasn't a discounted price I expected better. The kids were about to leave for their first trip of the year so I didn't have time to send it back for replacement.

As always, Amazon made the effort to satisfy the customer and gave me a moderate credit back to my credit card which I'm happy with.

Problem is I wanted to order some more for emergency kits for the cars and can't be sure I'll get new(isn) product. I really wish Amazon would require vendors to publish expiration or "born on" dates for perishable products. That would save some angst.

I feel this is way overpriced for what you get. But when it's needed it's worth every penny. It's also smaller than it looks in the pictures, about the size of a 4" webril.

I am a certified first responder. Celox is a critical component of your first aid and first responder kit. It will stop horrid bleeds that you would have difficulty stopping without a tourniqut, and you cannot put a tourniquet everywhere. Therefore, you must have at least one roll of this stuff with you all the time even if you only intend on saving your own life with it.

First Aid Only Ibuprofen Tablets, 50 2-packs, 100-Count BoxesWhile the description may be a bit confusing, and I wasn't sure if I was getting 3 or 4 boxes, it is still a good deal if you only get 2 boxes. I did, however, receive 3 boxes which was 150 packets of 2 pills each. They aren't fancy looking or anything, but they are the same milligram per pill as all the other ibuprofen choices and at least half the price.

Great value!!! I plan on putting this in the bags guests get when they check into the hotel for our wedding. The packs are perfect and I'm sure guests will appreciate the ibuprofen!

I received 1 box with 50 packets. For a total of 100 tablets. Plainly states 50 packets on the outside of box. That is exactly how many were inside the single box I received. I contacted with problem, no response. I've given ample time to resolve. The description is deceiving anyway. Not a good deal for one box. Better deals on right here on amazon. This is the first time I've written a review. However, this is also the only time I've ever had an issue with a transaction that was left unresolved. Two stars for the ibuprofen quality and packaging.

Pretty straight forwardthis is just regular Ipubproen in single use packs. For various legal reasons the individual packs are useful. These are as good as the name brands and pretty economical given the single use format. Just to clarify, you do get three boxes, each with 50 packets of 2 tabs for a total of 300 tablets. The carton is designed in a way that ripping off the top makes it a dispenser of sorts.

Again, it's not sexyjust solid meds in a necessary form factor at a good price. Excellent for restocking first aid kits.
