Curad Curad Non-Stick Pads With Adhesive Tabs

I had a box of the previous version of these, and liked them quite well. One pad would do for 24 hours if it stayed dry, and could even be removed and reapplied with the adhesive continuing to hold. The pad was woven cotton, and didn't get pesky fibers stuck in the wound.

This new version says "comparable to Telfa pads" on the box, as pictured, whereas the old one had real Telfa (as the item title says). I'm guessing the item for sale is as pictured, and the title is incorrect.

Anyway, I don't have an opinion on whether the imitation Telfa covering is better, worse or the same as real Telfa. But the adhesive doesn't hold as well, won't hold if you remove and reapply it, and the pad is spun cotton fiber that gets everywhere. You'll have to change these new ones more often.

I agree with the last reviewer. This does come off the wound fairly easily but it falls apart with the inner layers of cotton making a mess. I went to take it off and it came apart in layers with the non-stick layer still on my wound. It did pull off easily when I finally got a grip on it but with the other layers falling apart first, it wasn't very neat.

These used to be light brown in color, now are an unsubtle white.

The side tabs have gotten smaller and less sticky, so come off easily from parts of the body being flexed.

The 100 strips that I received had an expiration date of July/2009 which means this purchase was a waste of money. I was upset and disappointed.

There's always a catch on buying discounted items. Based from my actual experience, the expiration date is less that 3-4 months. This is not publish during the ordering process. Good if you will be using this product at least once or twice a day so that you can consume it within 1-2 month period.

He called me "slanderous" and accused me of "trying to capitalize on and not someone who was trying to establish a long term business relationship." I was attempting to buy their product... How else do you establish business relationships?

He also said, "People like you who threaten small businesses is why our country and economy are in such peril today."

So, if you don't want your orders randomly cancelled without explanation, or want to be accused of the country's problems... Don't buy from Bargain OTC. They obviously don't believe in the saying, "The customer is always right!"

We received the item in what looked like damaged shipping: a strip had already loosened its way out and fell out even before we opened the Amazon shipping packaging. The box it came in looked frayed and old. The expiry of the product was for April 2010, and the ones you get in the store right now are for April 2011 or later.

Thankfully the return process at Amazon was smooth enough. We ended up buying this product in the store, since the expiry date is a concern.

I soaked this in cool water as instructed and was supposed to leave it for 30 minutes, no more. I forgot to take it out in time and 2 hours later fished it out of tepid water. It was cool to the touch but not the icy cold I needed. It's my fault for leaving it in the water too long, but really... you would think it could retain some kind of coolness. It took forever for the crystals to get back to it's regular shape -about 3 weeks to dry up again. The length is okay and the width of the tubing is rather small but fit around my neck. I think it's better suited for a child -like in the picture. Would I buy this again? Probably not.

This floor tape applicator does the job that it is supposed to do. When it arrived, it seemed dirty (as if it had been sitting in a warehouse for YEARS), and the handle was a bit askew. Also, you'll need to go over the tape with a cloth or something after the application to be sure the tape takes. We found that the weight of the applicator is not enough to completely seal the tape to the floor.

This product is made for adults? I am a smaller than average adult and this thing wont fit around my arm at all. Well maybe my wrist only, but this is useless junk. I'll just keep it for child use only. Use a belt or some other type of tourniquet instead.

I purchased this thinking it would be easier to put on yourself in the event it was necessary. Well, the rubber does not have much give so applying it to ones arm alone is difficult. Had I cut my artery (which happened recently) I would have probably bled out since i would have had to remove pressure from the wound and then taken a minute to situate myself so I could hold, stretch, and apply. It would have been better had they had a buckle that it doubled back through before being velcroed to itself.

Used on a very small person, who isn't you... (almost impossible to use on yourself.)

I thought that I found a way to use it on myself, then almost have it ripped in two pieces... IN TWO DAYS... I mean it's GREAT QUALITY rubber and such, and I ALMOST BROKE IT IN TWO DAYS! It's maybe 1 foot long... ONE FOOT LONG.... for an adult.

I'm beside myself.

As I said, GREAT QUALITY for a first aid kit, just don't hurt yourself... yikes.

These bandages come unstuck as soon as they get a little damp from hand-washing, rinsing dishes, or whatever. So unless you can keep the bandages completely dry, they're a waste of money. I am very disappointed in the product.

I bought these when I ran out of Zee brand fingertip bandages. Big mistake. Zee bandages are more expensive per unit, but stay firmly stuck even when hands are soaking wet.

I put two fingertips across a tablesaw blade, got seven stitches to hold that back together, and really needed a lot of fingertip bandages until they healed up. These worked really well. As another commenter pointed out, they don't hold up well to being wet, but the glue also washes off easily; the waterproof finger bandages left a lot of goop on my fingertips, and I'd rather just carry an extra bandage for after I wash my hands than have to sit there and pick glue off my fingers at the end of the day. Tradeoff, I guess.

Would buy again. Hope not to ever, ever need this many a second time.

Don't be mislead by the picture. There is only one penlight for this item. The penlight turns on and works. Hopefully this one lasts me awhile.

Gauge on the side is nice and depress clip to turn on an okay narrow beam. Spend a couple dollars for 5 or 6 pack though.
