Our first case lasted us almost two years. We installed dispensers in each of our four bathrooms and one in our kitchen. Two of our bathrooms are infrequently used (by comparison) so these 1000ml sizes lasted quite awhile. But the work they did was admirable. The transmission of viruses and such was much less in the time we've had these, and I am very pleased that we made the investment in this product in our home. I know that most people buy Purell type products in those little pump dispensers at the grocery store, but they are wasting their money. If you do any kind of per ounce comparison, this is the way to go.
