3M Coban Self-adherent Wrap - Neon Assortment, 3' wide - Case of 12far better than standard bandages ,was introduced to this item at doctors office and thought ,this is an ideal item for home emergency use

I am a nurse and use this tape constantly at the hospital, but now I have a need for it at home, our dog is injured and with all that fur, no way is regular tape going to work, and this is working perfectly. The price was right and the delivery fast. Thank you so much!

I purchased this for my brother to cover his picc line while he goes through chemo. While I do believe it is a great product, I am not happy that the colors I received bright pink, orange and purple were three colors not shown as being part of the package (colors I doubt he'll use). A waste of money...

Eye Cups 6/vial

Eye Cups 6/vialI'm glad I purchased these, as I had a use for one of them a couple weeks back. I had one of my contacts roll up in my eye, and I couldn't get it out. 15 seconds with one of these and the contact rinsed out and ended up in the eye cup. Very handy to have in a pinch.

it is very usefull and helpful, especially the doole sketch, my son loved it. He carried it everwhere he goes.

Item was as stated. The item arrived quickly. There are six eye rinse cups inside a plastic capped bottle keeping them clean. The rinse cups are made of a soft type of plastic and fit comfortably to the eye. They should work just fine.Hope I don't even need to use them.A+++

I wear contacts and also suffer from a lot of allergies, so sometimes I just really need to rinse my eyes. These are very useful because like many have pointed out, if you are lucky enough to find just ONE at Walmart or a drug store, they are very expensive. These are cheap and I am able to keep one in each bathroom, one for travel, etc.

Just nice to have extras. These are VERY useful for basic eye washes; especially when allergies are bothering me.

The only drawback is a minor one. The original one I bought sits flush against the eye very well and sort of 'seals' in the water/rinse/solution. I usually hold it against my eye and blink rapidly, as well as 'look around' so that everything is rinsed evenly. These cups do not 'seal' against my eye; I have to press a bit harder (still not hard enough to cause any discomfort) and they still usually have some leakage of solution. Again; it is not a big deal; I just keep a towel handy.

infectiguard Hand Sanitizer with Carabiner, 1.8 Ounce

infectiguard Hand Sanitizer with Carabiner, 1.8 OunceLove the beaner clip! Clipped it on my bag and used it constantly on my trip to Asia. Does not dry out your hands which I loved.

The small container combined with the carabiner make this the perfect thing to take camping or other outings. My son likes to attach this to his water bottle when he goes camping with the Boy Scouts. They always have to have their water bottles with them so those are usually carabined to a belt loop and the hand sanitizer is perfect for going along in the same manner.

BLS Medical Supplies Module by Rescue Essentials

BLS Medical Supplies Module by Rescue EssentialsI must say that the kit came with a lot and I wanted something more substantial than a regular first aid kit. I did a lot of research and asked nurses and others about some differing first aid and EMT packs. I with some advice decided on this package. when it arrived it was well packed except for the burn bandage. But after contacting customer service they were very happy to replace any items that were damaged quickly and with no hassle. I would recommend this kits for any disaster/first aid kit especially since it came with some useful tools.

Finally I got an Instant BLS supply kit without a bag I don't like. It is complete with BP cuff, stethescope, splint, airways, and every kind of dressing and bandage you can think of. In fact I had to trim the duplicates to fit my kit leaving me with refills.

Tourniquet Latex-Free (Pack of 10) Disposable

Tourniquet Latex-Free DisposableThese tourniquets are inexcusably poorly made. The first tourniquet I tried to wrap around a test dummy's arm immediately snapped in half. You can make them work if you are very careful with them, but they won't create enough tension, and will snap within 3 or 4 uses. The best word to describe these tourniquets is "fragile". Buy something else, these may seem like a deal, but they are a complete rip off.

Just as pictured. The one's I got were blue & rolled up tight. I tried putting one on. Seems to be good. Whether the rubber begins to degrade sooner than later remains to be seen.

Perfect for what they are made to do. Keep It Simple Stupid. I can carry 10 of these in my pack/med kit and they are nearly weightless. Now how many times are you going to need 10 of them when you go out? That would be a real bad day. Very happy with this purchase.

We all have bandaids, dressings, tape and ointment; BUT what happens when you or a loved one cuts themselves badly and bleeding, and forbid an artery in the wrist..........only a tight tourniquet will apply enough pressure to save your life. Now a leg would require any belt, pulled very tight, and 911 is the only way to go, but for those prescious few seconds, these are an absolute neccessity for small areas............trust me!!!! And 10 for this price is just too wonderful! I carry two in my purse at all times for my family.

2022A Part# 2022A - Curity Maternity Pad 11" 168/Ca By Kendall Company

2022A Part# 2022A - Curity Maternity Pad 11' 168/Ca By Kendall CompanyUsed these after giving birth & loved them. Couldn't find these specific ones anywhere but here. They got here super fast too, ahead of schedule. My only complaint: they arrived in a huge box with the labeling right on the outside. Now my UPS guy knows I needed gimongous maternity pads. Bummer.

I don't know why manufacturers of pads have no ruler.

The pad is described as a foot by four inches.

The pad is actually on 10" by three in the center.

Even if you measure the pad edge to edge incl the pad cover its still under eleven inches long by under four inches wide in the widest area.

Why can't pad makers tell the truth?

These are better than Hospeco maternity pads.

The are longer and softer than Hospeco but at best both are just a regular pad in terms of fluid they will hold. They should not be listed as Heavy Overnight or Maternity.

I repeat have fabricators in this line of product ever even met a woman? If they think these thin pads are for a heavy flow they most certainly have not studied uterine output. (not that we want to but someone needs to).

Schick Schick Hydro 3 Cartridges

Schick Hydro 3 Blade Razor Cartridge Refill-4 ctI first wrote how impressed I was with this product as I was researching economical shaving alternatives to the current state of rip-off and gimmick nonsense currently being sold as 'shaving systems' as it really is the smoothest shave I've ever gotten. Second only to my Trac II razor. For about 6 days. Then on the 7th and 8th day it suddenly changed for me. The sixth day was as smooth as the first; but the next two days were drastically different. The razor dragged and pulled, the 'juice' in the blade head to sooth and slick the face was gone, and for the first time I got razor burn. I was just as shocked by this as I was how great the razor was at first. I had to revert to a 4-way shave to finish shaving with this razor and the results were inferior all the way around. I was left with irritation and stubble; the blades just wouldn't cut the stubble without pulling the hair and increasing the irritation. I finally quit half-way through my 4th pass and grabbed my Trac II and finished with that and the Trac II which had 6 days use on the blade was as smooth as the Hydro was on it's first. The Hydro even nicked the area around the corners of my mouth and my upper lip trying to get rid of the stubble which my Trac II never did.

My experiment is done. When I calculate the cost of these blades per shave at 6 shaves the Trac II is more economical and gives a continuously better shave. It's not 'as smooth' on the first shave as the Hydro was; but it is about 90% as smooth and that's good enough as the Trac II never gave me any nicks, cuts or irritation and the last two shaves of the Hydro did nothing else. I'm done with it and going back to the less expensive twin II style cartridge blades that have always done a consistently better job for a heck of a lot less money. In some ways I think the razor business peaked with the twin blade razors (Trac II, Super II, Sensor, Tracer) and everything after them were a marketing gimmick just to separate us average men from our money. Again: Done.

27-year-old male here: sensitive skin but need to be clean-shaven for work. I've tried nearly every different razor and type (safety, electric, 2-5 blade cartridge). My conclusion is this: Gillette, although offering a competitive product, is simply too expensive and not cost-effective for long-term usage. If you've read or watched videos "teaching you the art of shaving", almost every single one mentions the importance of a sharp blade!

My daily razor now is the Schick hydro. The "hydration reservoir" is no gimmick, it really works. Sometimes, I don't even need to re-apply shave soap and it just glides across my face. Shaving in the shower is key, too. I remember having ridiculously nasty razor-burn when I would wake up, lather, and shave before the shower. Just follow some basic tips and utilize a quality blade like Schick Hydro offers, and you will be amazed how much better the experience of shaving is!

Highly recommended.

I am pleased to have found these blades again. They are better for shaving around my mustache than the five blade models. I can't find them around town, and after buying the handle I didn't want to start over again. I get a good clean shave with the lack of cuts found with lesser quality blades.

Shaves pretty well, doesn't cut up my face. Works better than the cheap Gillette blades I used to get by the pound from costco. It really is pretty pleasant when they're new and glides nicely.

2nd Skin 2nd Skin Moist Burn Pads 2 inch X 3 inch

Spenco 2nd Skin Moist Burn Pads 2x3- 4 count pkg.We had these in our first Aid kit on a group campout and a friend of mine got splattered with hot oil. She used one of the 2nd Skin burn pads and it did not even blister! I have used them for a curling iron burn and for a burn I got taking cookies out of the oven. They are so soothing and very effective!

We have used these several times (we have a large family and I am very accident prone). They work miracles. I was overtired and set a hot pan full of boiling water down on my palm. We covered it in these bandages and I do not have a scar! They soothe and protect it the burn. We have tried others, but no more we only use these. They are incredible!!

My 10 year old was helping to cook and burned her arm on a skillet. It was very painful, but not too scary until she scraped the blister off while we were at the Lake...yuck. The wound was scary after that & I desperately went to the pharmacy store trying to find something to treat it. I found an antiseptic foaming cleanser and 1 little box of these gel burn pads. I bought several tapes to hold the thing in place and this thin stretchy cut-to-size mesh to lightly hold everything in place. The second I put the gel pad on she said it quit hurting. I went from store to store trying to find them and every single store only had 1 box. I finally came to Amazon & found them for slightly better prices & free 2 day shipping with my Prime membership! I was very relieved after a couple of days it started looking much better & her burn healed in just under 2 weeks---The very best part is she was pain free the entire time. That is the priceless part!

Dr. Berry's Apothecary Neuropathy Therapy Oil - Temporary Relief of Tingling

Dr. Berry's Apothecary Neuropathy Therapy Oil - Temporary Relief of TinglingI've used this product for about 5 weeks according to instructions were it's stated that cherry angiomas would start to fade away in about 2-3 weeks. I used it for 5 weeks and nothing happened at all. So, I just stopped using it and called the company to get a refund (they have 90 day money-back guarantee, no questions asked). They told me not to return it and they promised to just issue a refund, and that's it. I still didn't get a refund but it usually takes more than a week to get it. I wish this product worked because it specifically designed for cherry angiomas and it was supposed to do get rid of them over a longer period of time unlike other harsher treatments that might leave scars and stuff. I guess I will take my chances with a bit harsher product. Dermisil felt like a perfume. I have to admit, it smells nice.

Band Aid Brand Friction Block Stick .34oz, Boxes (Pack of 3)

Band Aid Brand Friction Block Stick .34oz, BoxesCustomer review from the Amazon Vine Program I will say I did not use this in the recommended way, for shoe blisters, because I tend not to keeps shoes that cause blisters. What I did want this for, I am almost embarassed to say is chafing in other areas. I don't consider myself overweight, but by darned if my upper inner thighs don't chafe like crazy when I sweat. It has been to the point that I felt like my skin was ripping off and I get actual swelling in the chafed area. I thought this might help, so I applied it and it worked like a charm for me. What was also helpful and hopefully not a fluke was that my shorts did not seems to ride up as much between my legs. The container is smaller than a travel size deoderant but pretty much is used in the same way. I wish I could review how it works with shoe blisters but like I said, I have no shoes that cause blisters, but I do like how it works with chafing and it would be my guess it would work well.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I wanted to give this product to my daughter for a serious review of its effectiveness. This is her take on the item.

As a dancer majoring in ballet at university, I wanted to try out Band-Aid's new Friction Block Stick to see if it would help prevent me from getting blisters from my pointe shoes.

When I received this product, the first positive aspects that I noticed were its small compact size, no mess simple design, and its good smell. The actual application of the product, however, was somewhat awkward and felt much like putting deodorant on my feet and toes. I did not sense any significant change in the feel or friction of my shoes, but I do believe it helped a bit. The only other downside to this product was that it cannot be applied on blisters or open sores which is disappointing to me because these are the areas that I would most want to protect from friction.

Overall, I think this product would be good for the average shoe wearer whose shoes don't fit perfectly, someone who is wearing new shoes for the first time, or a lady putting on heels before a big night out. If you are looking for serious coverage, though, it looks like the plain old band-aid is still the best way to go.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program When I got Band-Aid friction block I was skeptical. I figured it was worth a try.

I have 2 pairs of shoes I absolutely love, but hate because I always get blisters when I wear them. This is no longer true. I wore one of the pairs for 8 hours with only one application of friction block and I didn't even get a red mark! I will always keep Band-Aid Friction Block on hand.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Band Aid Friction Block has the consistency of a chap stick that is used on your lips. Chap stick comes in many different forms now, but the Friction Block is more like the first Chap Stick product made for lips...so many years ago. I used The Friction Block for my bunions. I wish I had them operated on many, many years ago because they have gotten progressively worse & cause discomfort when I wear some of my favorite shoes. Recently, for the first time, my favorite shoes caused a blister on my bunion. I applied the Friction Block liberally on the spots that are prone to blister, and decided to apply it to a couple callouses on the bottom of my feet & then over the tops of my toes for extra measure; then put on thin pant socks with my favorite shoes. At the end of a 6 hour day, I didn't have any blisters. The Friction Block didn't prevent the discomfort of my shoes; I had a red spot on my bunion...but at least, it didn't blister. There's a generous amount of product in one stick. It's too cool here to wear sandals. I'll try to remember to update my review after trying Friction Block with my sandals.

I forgot to mention that Band Aid Friction Block must be used before you have a blister. You can't use this product on blisters.

Want Band Aid Brand Friction Block Stick .34oz, Boxes (Pack of 3) Discount?

Before I found Friction Block, I would literally put ten Band-Aids on my feet and then carry a box with me everywhere if I wanted to wear heels. Or flats. Or wedges. Or booties. I can't even wear most flip flops because I get blisters everywhere from rubber or leather straps. And strappy sandals just meant an excrutiating evening after the first few minutes. But then I discovered Friction Block and I haven't used a Band-Aid in months! My feet are blister free. You have to apply it liberally the moment you feel anything rubbing (or in my case, you know exactly where each pair of shoes will cause blisters, so I use it before I even put anything on my feet). You cannot wait until you have a blister, and you may need to reapply if your first application is very thin, but one small stick lasts a long time even with frequent applications. (Warning: It may discolor lighter fabrics; test in an inconspicuous location first.) I love this product!!

CPR Prompt (1 Pack) BLUE Single Adult/Child Manikin w/10 Lung Bags & Tool - LF06001U

CPR Prompt BLUE Single Adult/Child Manikin w/10 Lung Bags & Tool - LF06001UOur hospital uses the CPR Prompt manikin for its very busy American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers training program. The manikin is quite durable and easy to maintain.

The amount of force needed to activate the chest compression clicker seems to vary a bit from manikin to manikin (despite all being at the same setting). That's only a minor problem, however.

The entire head is hard plastic, which means the nose is not pinchable.

This manikin is fine for mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-mask ventilation (including head tilt-chin lift). However, it's not possible to hold a mask onto the face for bag-valve-mask ventilation. There's just not enough of a mandible to properly apply the E-C clamp technique. This presents a significant problem for a CPR course for healthcare providers.

Bottom line: If your target audience is limited to laypersons then this is a decent choice. If your target audience includes healthcare professionals then you would be advised to look elsewhere.

These race neutral mannequins are much easier to transport and keep clean than the more expensive Laerdahl models typically used by the red cross.

I have used this exact model for many years while working for a company that taught First Aid-CPR-AED . I started my own company and purchased one to use. The nice thing is that AED pads will not damage the manikin. It is light-weight and a good value for the money.
