The Chapstick itself was crap it broke apart first time I used it. I do like the holder though which is what I bought it for. Works good, holds my Chapstick. I have it clipped to my water bottle at the gym. Wish you didn't have to take the whole Chapstick out to use it but it isn't a big issue.Soothe-A-Sting Swabs (Box of 10)
I was impressed with this product so much that I came home and ordered some right away to have on hand for myself. It spoke volumes to me that the lifeguards use them. This was not our first sting, but I've never had other home treatments work so well before. I will always keep these swabs on hand now.I used this on my toddler when he decided to pick up a honeybee with his fingers ;) After I scraped the stinger out of his thumb with a credit card I washed his hands and then cracked open one of these. It really helped with the pain, so much so that he kept right on playing!

I wouldn't be without sooth-a-sting swabs in my medicine cabinet. If you get these right on a new sting, the pain subsides so much quicker! A fantastic product! And this was also a great price! Thanks a bunch. Not what I ordered but it worked. Instead of getting swaps we got wipes. They work but not as good as the swabs. They sent a note that they didn't have the swabs and only had the wipes. I wish they would of just contacted me in the first place and told me that they didn't have any swabs and only had the wipes before charging me.Great addition to my B.O.B. medical kit, Home FA kit, and Auto FA kit. I added 2-3 in each. Haven't used em' yet, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Pricing is cheaper then at local stores and they all arrived unbroken and sealed. The Original Aroma Therapipe, Salt Pipe, Respiratory and Asthma Aid
My mom was bugging for me to try the salt pipe for a while, as I've suffered from increased asthma/ respiratory ailments since moving to Los Angeles 8 years ago. I have to admitI was skeptical, and it seemed a bit too hippy-dippy for it to really be all that effective. However, she finally purchased one for me after my Advair had ceased to help anymore, and my coughing fits were getting worse and more frequent.
All I can say is WOW. I noticed a HUGE improvement within a few days of using it. I had all this gunk come up from my lungs (you do cough up a bit of congestion, but better out than in, right?), and the coughing went away as well. I was surprised at how effective this wasI let it lapse for a week, and my coughing reboundedstarted back on it and the coughing went away.
My advair ran out the same time I started the salt pipe, and I haven't had to refill the prescription since. I'm glad I've found a replacementthe advair isn't cheap, and even though this seems like it'd be a pain to use the pipe for 10-15 minutes a day, you just use it while watching TV or on the internet, and it goes by without you even noticing it.
The only thing is to watch out that you don't breathe out through your mouth. (you can get the salt wet that way, which makes it less effective)
I would HIGHLY recommend to anybody suffering from respiratory problems from air pollution/ asthma, etc...My 4-year-old daughter has very weak lungs, and every respiratory virus turns into pneumonia. She became ill right after her salt pipe arrived, and I had her start using it immediately. Instead of a trip to the emergency room, countless drugs, and a two week stint in bed, she was home sick from school for just one day, and for the first time I can recall in over two years, she appeared to have just a "normal" cold.

The Therapipe is an interesting concept. I like it so far, and it encourages me to breathe deeper. We get in such a habit of shallow breathing, that we forget to stop and use our breath for healing. (Yoga philosophy) I like that part (aside from the massive yawning that deeper breathing promotes). Since I started using it 3 weeks ago, I have been breathing free and clear, with only an occasional need for my prescription inhaler. (once per week or so) I'm not sure if I can attibute it entirely to the Therapipe, as I have been seeing a Chinese doctor who has been treating me with various herbs and acupuncture as well. I am both hopeful and skeptical that this thing works. THE CONS: The Therapipe requires that you breathe it for 20 min. per day (which can be broken into 2 sessions). 20 minutes in a busy day can seem like a long time. I'm in my car a lot though and this is a handy place for me to use it. However, I have a little anxiety that a cop could pull me over, as it could easily get mistaken for a bong. On the up side, I suppose I could find another convenient time and place to use it. :o) Also, in the instructions, it says not to remove the little silicone flap that goes over the hole. Well, one day it just fell off and I now have to plug the hole with my finger. Not a big deal though, and very easy and natural to do, as it is made like a flute and the hole is by your finger anyway. The last con is that it isn't refillable. THE PROS: The Therapipe will theoretically last for 5 years. It's safe. The salt, should you taste it at all, is pleasant (as opposed to the taste of prescription alternatives). It also has a pleasing shape that is ergonomic and fits naturally and comfortably in your hand. All in all, I think this is a great and potentially miraculous little invention, with the pros outweighing the cons and I 100% recommend giving it a try.Read Best Reviews of The Original Aroma Therapipe, Salt Pipe, Respiratory and Asthma Aid Here
COPD sufferers have few alternatives to their breathing plights which don't include a trunk load of side-effects ..... this little inhaler (looks like an albino pinquin) is different, it helps aerate your respiratory system with salt air much the same way one benefits from a walk on the beach (if that is, you felt like taking a walk anywhere other than to the next chair).Newsflash, based on the daily improvement I'm experienceing with salt-pipe therapy, I feel not just comfortable but obligated to write this review to help ease another person over the "oh, it can't really work syndrome"...folks like you & me who've struggled to breath minute by minute day to day for too long and feel resigned to keeping the status quo for fear of another disappointment...I honestly believe this therapy can help or I wouldn't endorse it.
No, I am not healed & may never be but that walk on the beach will become a reality in the near future, hope to see you there.

I admit that I had reservations about investing $60 on something so relatively unconventional to treat my asthma and lung infections. Now, I can say only how glad I am that I took the plunge. Within three days of my using the pipe, my lungs were completely clear for the first time in THREE YEARS. Yes, twenty minutes a day can seem like something of a chore when a prescription inhaler takes only a moment to use. All I can say is -make the time! You won't regret it. I'm planning on purchasing another one to keep in my desk at the office, making using it a lot easier to fit into my schedule (and to have a backup). I've been able to stop taking virtually all of my (expensive) meds.Amazing!

Ezy Dose Pill Cube - 30 Day Pill Reminder
Quirky part:
1. The covering for the compartments are in rows of 3. Viewing the picture of the product. Number 1 compartment is the one closest to the hinge. You have to open all three, cover the two you don't want to empty so those don't fall out. Yeah, I know it's strange.
2. Start label is @ number 30 ........ huh?
3. To close the individual compartments securely, you have to snap each one in place in order. You need to start at the hinged part of the cover strip, click that one closed then the next and so on. You cannot just position all three and then press. The compartments will not close properly.
I like this a lot despite all the quirks. It's really compact and small enough to throw it in my purse without taking a lot of room. I also like the fact that I can transport an entire months worth of meds in one unit as opposed to the pill boxes where you can take out one day or a weeks worth of meds with the possibility of losing or misplacing it from the main unit. Heck, if I'm going to lose it, it mind as well be the entire thing.Doesn't fit nearly the amount of pills my crazy self needs to take on a daily basis good if you're taking like a birth control pill or something that size

I do not like this product at all! I have to take 5 pills twice a day and those do not fit in a compartment.I just received this and I'm a little baffled. There are 3 rows, on 2 sides, with 5 compartments in each row. The bottom compartments are easy to open because there's a little tab to flip up. But I can't figure out how to open the middle and top rows, which do not have a tab. If someone could clue me in, I'd greatly appreciate it. I love the size of the cube and it would be really convenient to throw in a purse or suitcase...if I could only figure out how the thing works.St. Ives Facial Moisturizer, Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin
As far as using this on my face, it absorbs quickly but I notice if I use it under my eyes, my eyes get very irritated. That's one of the main places I needed to moisturize on my face. I was sad to see my body have that reaction, but I do have sensitive skin so I run into a lot of problems. I can use it on my cheeks, chin, and forehead, but not right under my eyes. For that I now use a separate retinol creamRetinol Cream (Vitamin A) 2 oz. + FREE St. Ives Renewing Collagen Elastin Advanced Body Moisturizer Gift Set. It doesn't give me any irritation and a tiny dab goes a long way. I still use the St. Ives everywhere else but the retinol cream gets where the St. Ives can't.
The best part about the St. Ives is that it works everywhere else on my body. Just because it's labeled face doesn't mean it can't be used elsewhere. It works great on my hands and arms, too.I bought this as a "get by." But after using it for the past 8 weeks have discovered it works as well, if not, better than my $95.00 moisturizer. I'm going to stick with this. It seems to have a better firming effect and I have noticed a smoother appearance to my skin tone.

I'm a man, who has naturally smooth, typically blemish free skin. My entire skin care regiment has basically consisted of a good soap and water scrub in the shower with my wash cloth, and that's that. My skin has never felt like it was in need of a moisturizer, and after a regular old shower wash it feels pretty good, or "dewy" as my wife likes to call it.But I'm also an actor, and I'm 31 years old now. I drink a lot of water (when I don't I can tell the difference), I don't smoke, and I rarely drink, but I've also started looking around for skin care products that will help me preserve the quality of my skin, and keep me as fresh and youthful looking as possible. For me it's not an issue of vanity, but of actual livelihood; how my skin looks has actual career and financial implications. Having good skin isn't an excuse for me to just assume I'll always have good skin, and I've heard enough times by now that starting younger is better.
Back in the day my sister and mom use to use the old St. Ives apricot scrub, which I used a few times many years ago. You know the one that basically felt you were scrubbing your face with gravel. I liked the rougher texture, and decided to turn to try St. Ives now when I was looking for some skin care products. After reading reviews for several, I ultimately decided on the extremely well regarded St. Ives Timeless Skin Daily Microdermabrasion 4 oz (113 g)and this moisturizer.
Last night I used both for the first time. While I'm looking to take better care of my skin, I also am not looking to use a 1,000 products, or have a lot of fuss and work over my skin. The exfoliating cream was a lot less harsh than I expected, especially in comparison to the old apricot scrub. I used that, let me skin dry a little, and then applied the moisturizer.
Now like I said above, I'm use to "dewy" skin naturally. But about 10 minutes after applying this stuff I was literally floored at how my skin felt. My skin feels better than I have ever felt it in my life. It's extremely smooth, feels taut, and looks vibrant and bright. I don't have a ton of experience with a wide variety of skin care products, so I have no idea if this is standard, but none of the products I have used even remotely came close to making my skin feel, and look, this amazing. My wife came home and I told her she had to touch my face, and she did. She said it felt really "firm", almost like I'd had botox or something (which I thought was hilarious). She couldn't stop rubbing her arm on my face, just to feel the texture. I think she was a little jealous ;).
It's over 12 hours since I put this stuff on and my skin still feels like a satin sheet. I've never written a review for a skin care product. I never imagined I would even be compelled to. But I'm telling you, especially you reluctant men out there, this stuff feels insanely good on your skin. Between this, and the other product, I've found something quick, easy, and most importantly, something that worked from the FIRST application.

Chiggerex Plus! Medicated Ointment 1.75oz
I was 'fresh meat' for any number of creatures who seemed to enjoy devouring me and I have the scars all over me to prove it.
As I learned from people, I became more savvy and one of those things was being introduced to this Chiggerex.
When it comes to bugs there is first the prevention, secondly the aids.
There's an awful lot of natural things that work that you can put on your body to prevent being bitten and yet are not harmful to your body. But, if and when you do have some bites, keep tea tree oil, baking soda, and vinegar on hand during 'bug season' and definitely the Chiggerex.
I like that this is inexpensive enough to have several one for each bathroom; one to keep in your day pack for day trips, and don't forget to add this to your "Bug Out Bag" (no pun intended LOL)
A little is all you need, so the jar lasts a long time, too. Good stuff!Chiggerex is a tried and true "must have" item in most Southern households including my own.
It is THE BEST ointment for the relief of itching due to any bug bite and especially the three biggies: chiggers, ticks, and mosquitos. Just rub it on. It works.
WHAT IS A CHIGGER? Chiggers are well known in the southern United States, but for those of you who are lucky enough to not know what chiggers are, they are mites found mainly in tall grass and overgrown areas whose tiny red larvae feed on animals and humans. They secrete an enzyme when they bite that liquefies your skin so that they can slurp it up! YUCK! If uninterrupted, the larvae feed for about 4 days and then fall off, grow new legs, and become adults (chiggers are so small that they are usually killed/scraped away when people scratch at them). Meanwhile, the enzyme they secreted has caused the skin around their bites to harden and swell into pimple-looking bumps that itch like crazy!
Both chiggers and ticks wreak havoc on Southerners from late spring to summer, a time when all Southerners know to avoid tall grass! And if you must venture into their territory, spray your clothes and especially your pants, shoes and socks with a DEET or permethrin repellent (like Repel100 or Sawyer Premium Insect Repellant).
If you suspect you have been in chigger and tick territory unprepared or otherwise, shower or bathe with warm, soapy water A.S.A.P. scrubbing well, and wash the clothes you were wearing because there are still chiggers and/or ticks on them. This generally takes care of the chiggers along with wandering ticks.
After showering a "tick check" must be performed to spot any ticks that are latched on. Once found, they must be removed.
REMOVING TICKS Small seed ticks can be removed using tape. Any tape will do in a pinch, but heavier clear packing tape works best. For bigger ticks, you can remove those using narrow tipped tweezers. Grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible to avoid squeezing fluids from the tick into a person. Slowly but firmly pull the tick away from the skin. Save the tick so that it can be examined later by a health care professional in case of health concerns (ticks carry diseases including Lyme Disease), by sticking it to one end of a piece of clear tape and then folding the other half back over it (sticky sides together) to seal the tick inside. Dab the bite with rubbing alcohol. Wash your hands and wash and disinfect the tweezers as well.

I purchased this while suffering from a severe chigger attack. I had hundreds of sores on my legs and feet. This product was the only thing that relieved the relentless itching. Highly recommend it.Read Best Reviews of Chiggerex Plus! Medicated Ointment 1.75oz Here
Although this Chiggerex Plus! Medicated Ointment's main listed ingredient is Benzocaine 5.0%, the other ingredients combined with this make it an awesome (better, in my opinion) alternative to many other (and less effective, in my opinion) anti-itch ointments available. Among the other ingredients included in this are: olive oil, peppermint oil, clove oil, chamomile extract Aloe Barbadensis gel, camphor, vitamin A, vitamin E, and others.Within a few seconds to a few minutes, this stuff stops the itch and soothes the skin from the effects of mosquito bites, dry skin, general skin itch/irritations, and of course, chigger bites. While we have other anti-itch creams and ointments in our medicine cabinet for various skin conditions, this is the one most often used because it works so well.
We use a Q-Tip to get out a small amount and rub it into the affected area. The smell is of clove, camphor, and peppermint, but is fairly mild and non-offensive. I very highly recommend this product to those seeking immediate and effective relief for itchy or irritated skin.

I absolutely love this product! Over the summer I was outside and got attacked by a few dozen chiggers. This not only takes the itch out, but really soothes the bites. Later on, we suffered a massive flea infestation (still being fought), and I tried putting some of this on my flea bites. Not only did it work, but it seemed to repel the fleas from biting again, due to the peppermint oil it contains. It does have a strong fragrance (it's the peppermint oil), but once it's on I didn't really notice the smell.
I ordered a second container, and am already half-way through it. As I said, we still have a big infestation, and this has become one of my daily routines.
Israeli Bandage Battle Dressing, First Aid Compression Bandage
Reasons why I like the Israeli Battle Dressing:
+ It can be applied one handed for self treatment for those times where you might be separated from your group or alone in the wilderness while hiking, backpacking, camping or hunting. This bandage is issued to military personnel and many in law enforcement use it as part of their kit. In situations where you are alone or when help is minutes away it is critical to effectively control severe bleeding resulting from a traumatic event. Failure to control bleeding in a timely manner can lead to hypotension, shock or even death.
+ The 70-inch long elastic portion of the bandage can also be used and improvised in the field for other purposes such as to create a sling or to wrap an injury such as a sprain. It is always nice to have multiple uses for a single piece of gear.
+ The Israeli Battle Dressing is small and will fit nicely in your first aid kit.
+ It is sterile and vacuum packaged for long term storage.
+ Instructions for use are printed on the back of the packaging. In a high stress situation it is very easy to forget what to do so it is nice that the user can refer to the instructions if they have a "blank out" moment during a crisis.
+ There are no pins, clips, Velcro or attachments that can break, get lost or fail.
I highly recommend the Israeli Battle Dressing for your first aid kit.

Certainly an excellent addition to a first aid kit for military, police, hunters, and others who have a real risk of having to respond to traumatic injury. They work and they save lives.I would recommend that if you intend to have these in your first aid kit, get a spare or two. If you're going to the trouble of carrying these, go to the effort of practicing with a spare and keeping the one for the kit sealed.

I used this in combat and it works well. The IBD is fast to put on and applies constant pressure to the wound. The old bandages you would have to put on a second pressure bandage to do the same thing. You do not need to be a paramedic/combat medic/EMT to apply this dressing. I would also recommend quick clot gauze. The normal quick clot is a powder that reacts to the proteins on the wound. The problem with that is if you are in a windy situation, the powder can go into the casualty's eyes and blind them. The quick clot gauze eliminates that. You have to stuff the gauze in the wound. If you are looking at making a medical trauma bag for your home. Look at:
-Israeli Battle Dressing
-Sam Splint
-Quick clot gauze
-Battle tourniquet (Easy to apply anywhere and fast).
-IV bags and catheters (if you are trained).
-ice packs

I was taking a mirror off the back of a door 4 nights ago....crash! That mirror broke and slide down my leg. I couldn't stop the bleeding with direct pressure (I did slow it down). My wife was running around the basement looking for this bandage all the while the blood was pooling under my death grip I had on my ankle. She finally found it. That bandage stopped the bleeding within seconds. When I got to the hospital and they unwrapped that bandage I thought it was going to gush bloodeverywhere, nope. It took like 15 seconds and the Doc got a good look at it and BAM!
Blood was fast and furious. This bandage is AWESOME! The Doc asked me if I wanted to keep the bandage when I was closed up? I was seriously temped to tell her YES! But, I didn't want to seem like a idiot. I just came on tonight to replace the one I just used with four more. I never post reviews, but this one is personal.
