I love this product! It is a great help for being a first time mom. I remember once I called my doctor because I thought my baby's tummy was expanding, I was able to use the tape measurer in the kit and tell him how big her tummy was and re measure to compare and give the doctor more accurate results... also gave a few kits to my friends for their baby showers.. it was a hit:)

This will work, however I was surprised with the cheap feeling material, and lack of battery in the thermometer. However, the first-aid kit fits easily in a diaper bag, with room to spare for a few additional items. The book that came with it is really good we were very happy with that.

As a first time mom I bought everything possible PLUS more. This is one of those purchases. I think you are better off buying the essential, at better quailty individually. The thermometer included is cheap and does not work after two uses. I ended up buying a rectal thermometer that works great. The kit did come with a pair of nail clippers that are designed for babies and work great but other than that it's not very useful.

This is a great well rounded kit. The thermometer is your basic one, but I've used it and it seems pretty accurate. I've used a lot of the stuff and I'm sure the rest will become handy when my little girl gets bigger.

Royal Crown Hair Dressing

I like the consistency of the product. It isn't waxy like Murrays, which is too thick for me. It's pretty much exactly what I've been looking for to create that "wet look". The only slightly negative thing I'd have to say about it is it smells a little perfumey almost like lavender. But for the most part I like the product. I'll most likely get more when Im out.

Gives the slick look I like. I usually mix with Murrays to give more hold or just the royal crown when there already is pomade build up. Old school classic. Olive oil in RC gives the shine and this washes out a lot easier than other hard pomades. My new favorite!

It's old school. There aren't many ingredients, the packaging isn't trying to be fancy with dazzling plastics and rounded edges on their container. Royal Crown simply gets the job done! It can be tough to wash out depending how much you use but it keeps your hair shiny, slick, and styled.

This hairdressing is mostly petrolatum and olive oil. What does that mean? It means that it is shiny, VERY shiny. I'm talking sheen like you've never seen. It also means that unlike normal petrolatum pomades (e.g. Murray's) this will wash out in only one shower. You will still need a strong detergent shampoo like Dax Removing or just some plain dishsoap, but it will come out. The downside, of course, is the hold. It just isn't very strong. I have seen some water-based pomades with hold like this, although they don't have the same texture and they certainly don't have the same shine.

Bottom line, if you have long hair and want to sport a big pompadour or something of that ilk then this is not for you, stick with Murray's. However, if you have shorter hair and want something that has the look and feel of a petrolatum pomade, but something you can still wear everyday and wash out at night, then Royal Crown might just be for you.

Motrin is Ibuprofein and works well to relieve pain and swelling. I have no problems with the drug's efficacy.

This particular box contains 50 packets of 2 pills of Motrin for a total of 400 mg, which is the standard dosage.

Unfortunately, the packet could not be any more difficult to open. The packet is inexplicably designed to be opened with a scissor and has no tear-through point as one would normally expect. Moreover, the packet is made of a tough and resilient plastic-material that is very hard to tear through. After trying in vein to open the tiny packet with my hands, I resorted to using my teeth which caused my gums some minor trauma. If you have no scissor or knife handy, then be ready to use your teeth to open the packet, and opening the tough packet with your teeth will test the strength of your gums.

Why would anyone design a drug packet without a tear-through and allow the packet to be opened only with a tool?

I do not recommend this product for travels. I certainly do not recommend this product for those without a scissor or a knife.

Convenient this packet certainly is not.

The package came on time and this wasnt a bad price. However, they shipped it in a yellow padded envelope, and the orange box was crushed. The individual packets were not damaged as far as I can tell. I didn't buy them for the display box luckily. I just took the packets out and put them in the old dispenser and tossed the crushed box.

I wish I could get 1 box instead of 3 but it's still cheaper than buying the equivalent at a local drug store. I bought this to replace a foot long flat bandage covering a hip surgery scar, so I could make a new bandage after my daily shower. I could not locate the hospital grade bandage pads with the thin plastic sheet that keeps draining scars from sticking to the bandage, but fortunately my scar stopped draining, so this stuff did OK keeping the wound site clean and abrasion free. Each roll comes in a sealed container so they should keep from drying out for many years. This stuff was easy to work with, had no loose fibers so I guess it's OK for a variety of applications. I even cut small pieces of it and make my own band aids for blood draw site compression bandages, blisters, and when my cat gets her claws into me. I dress it with 3M Micropore Paper Tape White, 2" wide 1530-2 Box of 6

I own this kit and I think it's a very good small size for those of us who don't like to carry a 1 pound emergency kit while we hike. There are a lot of items not in here. I supplemented it with tweezers, Pepto Bismol tablets, pain relievers, antiseptic cream, and allergy medicine. I prefer a small size for 2 people, but others may find they need more things.

Overall, I've been using this kit for 1 1/2 years and I love the size.

Great kit! I purchased this when my wife ran her battery dead and didn't have any jumper cables, so I sent her this from amazon while I was still in Afghanistan.

Everything in the kit comes as described. I can only vouch for the jumper cables, as they are the only thing I have had to use, but they are built enough to be decent jumper cables (unlike some very flimsy cheap ones you see in these kits).

Bought this as a backup to roadside assistance, specially for jump starting and a few other options. Its small to fit anywhere in the trunk, packed nicely and doesn't wiegh much. I think it has the necessary pieces incase of most roadside emergencies. Best features are jumper cables, flashlight with batteries and of course duck tape, you can't go wrong with duck tape.
