Source Naturals Ultra Colloidal Silver Salve, 10 ppm
I read the other reviews on this salve and decided to give it a try even though it is somewhat expensive. I can say that I am glad I purchased it! It is great to keep around if you have kids. I have been using it on my daughters insect bites for the last week and it has really helped them to heal much faster. She has a bad habit of picking at the bites and the faster they heal the better. She recently got a large bite from perhaps a spider and it left a large red swollen and hard area that was oozing a clear liquid. I treated it immediately with the salve several times a day. It has been healing great. The first night a put a lot on the area and covered it with a bandage so she wouldn't scratch at it. The next morning it was greatly reduced.
The salve is very soothing and somewhat cooling. Some of the other reviewers said that it was good for sunburn and I can see why. It absorbs in to the skin relatively fast and doesn't leave any kind of residue. It is very clean and refreshing. It has a kind of yellow to gold color and is the consistency of perhaps a jar of jelly that has been stirred up well with a spoon. The 2 oz size would be the size I would recommend as we have about gone thru a jar in a month of nightly applications. I have some mosquito bites on my legs that I have been putting it on nightly and it does reduce the itching as well as speed the healing. My daughter loves getting it put on her bug bites every night and I can see why as I like putting it on mine too. It's a great product!
This 2 oz size is a bargain. Our local whole foods market sells it for $15 and it's only filled with 1 oz even thought the jar is almost the same size as this one on Amazon!

I have a new kitten who loves to play. That means biting and scratching! I'm trying to teach her not to attack my hands and feet but she isn't fully trained and probably will take some time to outgrow her tendencies. So this past week I got a scratch on my hand that hurt and looked really red and inflamed. I tried a prescription cream from my doctor but it did absolutely nothing. The area was still red and painful. So I decided to try this colloidal silver salve and was amazed at how fast my skin has healed. Within days the irritation stopped and the redness went away. I put this on my skin at least 5 times a day. When you apply it is very viscous and then forms a skin over the wound. So to use this effectively you need to dampen a cloth to remove the old layer so you can apply a new layer of salve. From my experience this has been a very healing and calming solution. I can highly recommend this if you have any skin problems whatsoever. You will be very impressed with how fast this salve works.~The Rebecca Review

Amazing healing properties. I have 3rd degree burns and no health insurance. Since my visit to the emergency room, I have been left to heal this on my own. This combined with the colloidal silver liquid, has expediently healed my wounds.Want Source Naturals Ultra Colloidal Silver Salve, 10 ppm Discount?
Tried everything to treat my rosacea. Ended up seeing one of the best dermatologists in the country, who tried everything in the book over the course of a couple years. Steroid creams, non-steroid creams, antibiotics -the works. Nothing would really clear it up.There was no shortage of folks telling me colloidal silver was quack medicine: it's all placebo effect, will do nothing useful, and maybe turn you bluer than papa smurf. That would have been a welcome change from my constantly red face.
So you can imagine I was pleasantly surprised that after 72 hours and half a dozen applications of this stuff my rosacea completely cleared up. Normal skin tone I hadn't seen in years. If it stays like this, I might even show my face in public more often.
Couldn't be happier.

Why didn't they have these when I was a kid? When my daughter broke her arm keeping her plaster splint wasn't easy, so I just searched amazon for a solution. Relatively easy to use and more durable than I expected. The package contains 2 but we kept refusing the first 1 until we thought it wouldn't keep the splint dry, we never used the second cover. My daughter got her splint removed 2 days ago and can get her arm wet again.Read Best Reviews of Curad Cast Protector Kid's Arm, 2 Count Here
I bought one box of cast protectors for my 8 year old, who unfortunately broke her wrist a few weeks ago. This is really great for covering the short arm cast and keeping water out. She's been using it to run through the sprinkler and to go in the pool so that she's not stuck on a lounge chair all summer. Obviously, they're not for swimming under water, but they do a great job of keeping her cast dry. They are also good for protecting the cast in the bath. These really are great for kids. I'd say though that they might be snug for kids that are on the huskier side. But they work well for my average weight 8 year old girl.My son had broken his arm and we used the protector to cover the cast while taking the shower. It was easy to put on and effective in keeping water out.PediFix No Sore Feet Stretch Socks

The package came ahead of schedule and in a nick of time because it started to get really cold, snowy with freezing rain and these socks came in handy to keep my toes warm and dry over my CAST. I plan on buying more because it is really nasty weather up here in New England and I have to wash them often. Also these look a lot better than others posted/advertised on Amazon because some look just like a surgeons mask instead of a sock.Read Best Reviews of PediFix No Sore Feet Stretch Socks Here
I ordered the largest size of the sock but my cast is too big for it to completely go over the entire thing. However, it does cover my toes and keeps them warm. Overall, I'm a happy camper with these. If you have a smaller cast, they work perfectly. Pedifix Stretch SocksI ordered these and wasn't sure they would fit over my foot after surgery, with all the bandages. But they do and now I can keep the bandages clean. These are great. And since they come in a pair, I can have one on while washing the other. Great idea.Pocket BVM (Bag Valve Mask)
2 things to be aware of:
1. It's tricky to get it back in the case. Not an issue if you use it , since you would throw it away, but if you examine it decide if you want more on hand...
2. I am an anesthesiologist and use bag valve masks every day, on real patients. You need training and familiarity to use them properly. Lift the patient's face into the mask, don't just mash the mask down onto their face. If you buy this, my advice would be to seek out some advanced training, if you don't have such already.I'm a paramedic for the past 36 years and go through a lot of gear. As times have changed, rigs have gone from big boxes to vans and space is a premium. I bought two of these so I could save smoe space in the first in bags. I've used one already and it's a great BVM. Add to that the fact that it stores in half the space and it's worth every penny.

The BVM arrived in great condition and on time. Two things the case that it comes in barely contains the BVM the cover keeps popping off. The second thing is with the portability and small size you give up volume that would help the patient with their respiration. Its almost small enough to do pediatrics with instead of adults. the concept it great just case needs to be better and bag volume should be largerRead Best Reviews of Pocket BVM (Bag Valve Mask) Here
I was surprised on how compact it was! It appears to be very sturdy despite all the folding. Very satisfiedWant Pocket BVM (Bag Valve Mask) Discount?
I was dubious, I'll admit. But if you're reading this you know how much space a BVM takes up in a kit.
This is a little bigger than a commercial mask/filter setup, about the size of a pack of 60 dvd's.
It unfolds easily enough, and only takes a few seconds.
Don't know how long it would last but field BVM's are disposable usually.
If you need to fit a BVM into a small bag this is the way to go!
PhysiciansCare Soft Sided First Aid Kit
You get 50 bandages, half of which are about 3/4 of an inch wide and maybe 3 inches long. That's one long narrow abrasion...you'd need 3 or 4 for a small child's skinned knee. I needed two for a knuckle I scraped (and not by dragging it on the ground so don't even go there).
The other half are "junior" sized, which means we can finally open up an Urgent Care For Hummingbirds faciilty. There is one "extra large" bandage, which might just cover that little toddler's knee, and 4 gauze pads that measure about 2"x2". They're not going to stop the bleeding from a papercut.
A couple of tongue depressors are designated as "finger splints." That sounds much trendier and way more professional than what they really are--especially since spontaneous tonsil combustion was cured in the 60s. You get ten of those, so go ahead, live it up and break the whole hand. You're covered. There are also 10 alcohol pads that are so small, I had to put my reading glasses on to find them, and 2 Sting Relief Wipes, which are perfect if you happen to be stung by the Barney Fife of bees.
Bottom line: In case of a major accident and disaster, if this is all you have, don't expect to find yourself on the nightly news saying "I just did what anyone would do..." I gave the kit one star because the items included are of good quality, albeit ridiculously small; one star because it does not technically mislead about the sizes (they are clearly there, on the bottom of the box where no one ever looks); and one star for the case alone which is about 4"x4", small enough to tuck into the glove compartment of the car or keep in a purse. There's enough room inside to add a some full-size first aid items and make the kit worthwhile. This kit has everything your probably ever need and more. I am a health and fitness student and this kit was a requirement and I see exactly why. This hit has all the tools your need should something happen and you need to help someone who gets injured. As a healthcare professional I would highly recommend this kit for your home, office, school or even your car. The price is unbeatable as well and what is very nice is the kit is very small and easy to store. It is folded and has six pockets with everything nicely organized and labeled.
The only two cons I have with this product are the scissors and plastic tweezers. I would replace both items. The scissors are not designed to cut fast in an emergency and the plastic tweezers are not going to do much if someone gets a wood splinter in their finger. You can get a good pair of pointy metal tweezers at Walmart for less than $3 bucks.
They do not have what is in the box so I have included it. This is for the 404 count package.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is essentially a box of band-aids in a soft sided zipper pouch. It also contains 1 application of "burn cream", 1 application of antiseptic, several alcohol wipes and a couple of "sting relief pads". That is okay as far as it goes, but if this first aid kit is supposed to serve 10 people, the supplies are inadequate. There is also a set of latex gloves, a bundle of tongue depressors that are labeled "finger splints", a small roll of tape and a couple of gauze pads. There are some cotton swabs on sticks--but nothing to swab. I don't really see the need for finger splints--serious hand injuries should be iced down to minimize swelling and taping on finger splints could be hazardous.
Everything here is shoved into the two pockets of the pouch, making for difficult access to the antibiotic, etc.
The idea is that one buys the kit, registers it and then gets reminder notices about replenishing it. The stuff here is not of high quality.
For an ordinary first aid kit, I recommend: sunscreen and insect repellent because a little prevention is worth a pound of cure. One should have band-aids, a tube of triple antibiotic cream, a bottle of alcohol, moist wipes. Instead of tongue depressors, I'd recommend tweezers for removing splinters. I carry a tube of After-Bite for dealing with insect stings and bites. If you are allergic, carry the recommended remedies. If you're going camping or fishing or some other outdoorsy activity, a spare cooler of ice is a first aide item. Ice can be used to treat wounds, bruises or sprains until the injured person can get to the emergency room or the urgent care clinic.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a nylon zippered case with clear vinyl pockets inside, about 4x6 inches. It has "95 pieces" but careful review shows that more than 50 of these pieces are off-brand bandaids--half "junior" sized. You get ten "finger splints"--which are wooden tongue depressors--and how many finger splints is anyone likely to use unless playing Chicago-style softball without a glove? A pair of gloves (latex) is two more pieces, 10 alcohol wipes, like you could swipe from your doctor's office--and why would you need them if you weren't injecting anything? Experts advise against using alcohol on wounds, because it damages tissue and kills good bacteria. My favorite "piece" is the registration card--seriously? You do get single use packets --one each, of antibiotic ointment and "burn cream"--a topical anesthetic and 2 (2!) Sting relief wipes--also topical anesthetic. 4 gauze pads, 5 yds of first aid tape and ten single-ended wooden-stick swabs (why--you only get two applications of cream total?).I'd get a zip-seal plastic bag, put some good quality bandaids, some topical anesthetic cream, some diphenhydramine (Benadryl) pills, some Immodium, some acetaminophen (Tylenol) and be done with it...but if someone gave you this, you could refill it with more useful items. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is almost funny when you open it, yet not so funny if you really injured yourself and needed a good first aid kit. I'm still laughing about the 10 tongue depressors which would be great if each of the ten people this is rated for each broke one finger. Too bad only three of them would have enough tape to splint their broken fingers. The quality is the cheapest available from the crappy little zippered case to the plastic non breathable bandages. Over a quarter of this kit (25pieces) are the teeny little useless size bandages, the ones you never use because they barely cover a pimple. Only one of the large bandages is included, the ones you always need. I can just see falling off the bike and pulling this out looking for a bandage for my bloody knees. So glad at least one of my knees will be covered guess I could use the 25 little ones to hold the 2 tiny gauze pads on the other knee. Seriously, spend 10.00 more and get a hard case type real First Aid kit that actually exceeds ANSI standards. If you need a more compact version take out of it what you need and put it in a zip bag. This is just silly!
First Check First Check Home Drug Test 12
I should add that my son tested positive for about 1/3 of the drugs in the test. Too bad it doesn't test for LSD, or he would have tested positive for that, too.
Eventually, he started hiding bottles of good urine (urine that will pass a drug test) around the house and in his pants so that he could fool the test. A word to the wise...
Today, he is on the Dean's list in physics at a major university. So, keep testing parents. Don't give up.The First Check kit is a first-rate diagnostic: easy and rapid to use and the results are extremely easy to read. The output is a competition assay (I won't bore you with details)which make the results very precise.
My only concern was that someone I tested is taking an SSRI and his/her urine came up positive for tricyclic antidepressants.

Product as described and came super fast. My only issue is this:I thought it came with 12 tests. It does not. It comes with one test that covers 12 drugs.
My bad !!I like this single use test because it tests for 12 different drug families. It's great because you don't have to try to figure out what your "teen" has taken before buying the test. It is easy to use and results are displayed in minutes in an extremely easy to decipher display. If you are unsure of the results you can send it in for lab testing. It comes with a box and a code to mail it in. Yes this one costs a bit more but I'm able to sleep better at night.

Johnson & Johnson Tough Pads, 4-Count 2.8" x 2.4" Pads
For 20 years, this kind of wound-healing pad has been available in Europe. I first found them in Spain, when I had a gaping blister on my heel. An hour after putting this on, there was no pain, and that lovely telltale white bubble rose under the pad: the sign that my body was producing healing white blood cells at the site. Seven days later, it nearly fell off, and there was no visible sign there had EVER been a wound there. Miraculous! I was amazed that it took so long for these to arrive in the states. And once here, very difficult to find. No big city pharmacy I've been to carries these, so I have to order them on Amazon. Surgeons in hospitals still don't seem to know about them. When I had my stitches removed and they could see no scarring, there were amazed. I had to tell professional surgeons about these. How is that still possible? And why aren't these easier to find?

We first bought these at Wal-mart locally when my son burned his hand pretty bad. He left the bandage on and his hand healed very nicely. We wanted to have some of these bandages around but of course, Wal-mart no longer carries them. So very happy to find them on Amazon and I got a great price and enough bandages to keep us from now on. My husband burned his chest this summer and he put on one of these bandages and healed right up. They really worked for the farmers in my life. I almost forgot, recently a friend of ours burned his hand and we took him a box and he too just healed right up.Read Best Reviews of Johnson & Johnson Tough Pads, 4-Count 2.8" x 2.4" Pads Here
I used these after getting road rash from a bicycle crash. They are so awesome. You never get a scab because it essentially becomes your outer layer of skin. Everything heals super quickly and with much less scarring.Want Johnson & Johnson Tough Pads, 4-Count 2.8" x 2.4" Pads Discount?
Tough pads are perfect for dry sores that do not heal well. I sometimes get bed sores, as soon as one appears, I put tough pad on it, and change it every few days until the sore is totally gone. They also cushion the sore so there is much less pain involved. It is a must have for them.Neosporin First Aid Antibiotic Ointment - 1/2 Oz (3 pack)
You heal faster using Neosporin than when you use a generic store brand and it also provides 24 hour infection protection. I used to travel the world and I always took a tube of it with me in case I had a problem while in another country. It only takes a little and a tube lasts a long time. I can tell you that it works well for me and I strongly recommend it to you as a very good product. I have posted two photos of the box both front and back so you can see the product details.

The ad clearly shows three genuine SAM finger splints with bold SAM SPLINT logos on the front. What I received was three loose in package, unmarked, unpackaged squares of foam. They do look a lot like the SAM splits I already own, and appear to be good quality, but the lack of packaging, instructions or logos (shown in the picture) leave me a very suspicious buyer. I am returning these for genuine SAM SPLINTS.Shame on this seller (and Amazon) for allowing such a misleading product photo to be posted.
