I love this stuff! I have been using Ambien for months now and often felt groggy during the day so I really wanted to get off of it as a regular thing and just use it for really bad nights. I know from experience that it's hard to go cold-turkey though, since without drugs it takes me forever to fall asleep.

On prior attempts to get off the Ambien I used a Valerian-based sleep blend recommended by my acupuncturist, and while this is relaxing it didn't really help me get to sleep if I had any anxiety at all. So this time I did some more research and decided to try melatonin to replace the Ambien. I picked the Night Rest because it had the highest melatonin amount in the recommended dose (2 tablets contain 5mg).

So I took the recommended 2 tablets of Night Rest and was pleasantly surprised that I felt really sleepy after about 45 minutes. I couldn't keep my eyes open and slept through the night. I did feel a little groggy in the morning but I slept yay! After a couple nights of this knocking me out I tried 1 tablet instead of 2 and that didn't really do the trick. I may try 1.5 and see how that goes but when I went back to 2 tablets it worked great.

I didn't think that a non-prescription substitute would work as well as the Ambien, but so far I'm thrilled with the Night Rest. I haven't tried other melatonin pills yet since most have less than the 5mg included in this product, but I'm sold on the stuff and imagine I will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.

Originally got this by mistake. Soon found it to be the best melatonin of all. Smooth sleep.

I purchased this product at a huge whole market grocery chain. I paid too much. It works great! It contains 5 mg of melatonin. The directions state that you should take 1-2 tablets 30 to 45 minutes before bedtime.

However, I find that I have to take 2 tablets approximately 4 hours before bedtime before I feel the intital yawning and relaxation effect. I highly recommend this product for women who are undergoing premenopausal unrest or hormonial imbalances that cause sleeplessness, anxiety, insomnia, or stress.

I am approximately 5'11 and I weigh 185 lbs. This might play a part as to why I have to take the product well in advance.

This cement worked for me when nothing else did. I can't recommend it enough. It can be messy, because it is very sticky, so the can with the brush is preferable to the tube. It can be very hard to open the first time. But it helps with the ostomy, and that is the bottom line for anyone with an ostomy.

Redmond RealSalt Redmond Clay

This is my experiences using Redmond clay. I began using Redmond clay hesitantly around 2001. I use it all the time now. It is so versatile in its uses; digestive aid, detoxifier, wounds, beauty, etc. One of my favorite uses is facials. I use to have adult acne a lot. I would mix Redmond clay with olive oil, honey, essential oils and/or seaweed. And let it set on my face for 20+ minutes. The olive oil kept the clay moist. (When mixed with only clay and water it would dry my skin out and make it itch.) When I would use it every night for a week, my skin tone improved, acne diminished, my dark circles under my eyes faded, and the smaller wrinkles did not seem as noticeable. I would use Redmond clay just because of how it feels on my face. It is like a little bit of heaven.

Using it for wounds has greatly helped my cats and I. My first example is I am allergic to a common house spider where I live and every year it and I have to meet for some dumb reason. I get really lethargic and weak. The more I touch the bite the more it spreads and the sicker I get. I found out that Redmond clay can pull out poisons. As soon as I would get the bite I would mix lavender and Redmond clay together and put a bandage over it. As the lavender dried I would add another drop to keep it wet. The clay would pull the venom to a head and I found that I was not stuck in bed for a week or so.

One time I was bite by a stray cat at night, and 6 hours later my hand was swelling up fast. The following morning the doctor told me if we did not get the swelling down fast, I would have to go into surgery soon. I applied Redmond clay onto the bite and was amazed how fast the infection was pulled to the surface of my skin.

My cat was bit (probably by the same stray). She got a huge cyst on the side of her head (the size of a golf ball). A couple days later it popped. I sprinkled a dash of Redmond clay in warm water with tea tree and lavender essential oils. I have been washing her wound with that. The infection has drained out and it looks like the worst of it is over.

I have found that Redmond clay works as a great detoxifier for me and helps with any of my stomach problems. I add a 1/4 teaspoon to a glass of water. Just after stirring it together, it tastes earthy but not strongly of dirt. First time I did this I cringed at the thought of drinking it. I let the part that does not dissolve settle to the bottom. After half a minute it is still opaque but funny thing is my water now tastes better. (Our summer water tends to taste pretty bad.) If it feels gritty, I just add more water and drink the top portion.

I have many other uses for it. One is I every so often get a nasty canker and using Redmond clay on it helps the sore to feel better and heal faster. The clay does not hurt to put it on my canker. I love the benefit of using Redmond clay and will continue to use it for the rest of my life.

I use Redmond Clay as a mineral supplement for myself. I put 1 tsp in a glass of good quality water(ex:spring water), I stir, leave it over night. In the morning the clay rests at the botton of the glass and I just drink the water. I do that for 21 days then I stop for a week and do it again 2 times. Last year our dog had tummy problems for a few days. I gave her once a day a tsp of Redmond Clay mixed with 1 tbs of plain yogurt and she was completely fine after 2 days. In Europe we use green clay for a lot of things including in skin care as the clay can absorbs toxins and some bacterias.

I'm concerned that some reviews here seem to indicate that AEDs require a license or other specialized training to use. Most states require that users take an approved CPR class that includes AED training. Most CPR classes today offer this additional training. If you are concerned, call your local ambulance or fire department. They should have good information about the requirements (if any) in your area.

AEDs save lives. They are very, very easy to use. They should be in every home and office in the United States. They are made to be virtually "idiot-proof." The thing you are likely to use most is the nail clipper. But it is very blunt!!! And the special cover on the clipper makes cutting the nails impossible, unless baby's nail is very very long. If I wait until the nails are long enough to cut by this thing, my 3-month-old would have scratched his face and head. I end up buying a new baby nail clipper with a big handle and magnifying glass from nearby pharmacy. That worked much better.

I haven't needed to use 1/2 of the stuff in it yet but for the price I was expecting better quality. The case and the tools feel cheep and I can't get the cheep plastic smell out of any of the things in it. The bulb sucker thing is really stiff and hard to use, I had to buy another one. I have also used the dropper and clippers, they worked fine. I think you could probably save a lot of money by buying everything separate but I'm glad I got a full kit instead because I had no idea what I was going to need.

Aircast SP Walking Brace

After a complicated fracture of my heel bone several years ago, I wore one of these, and now that I am having issues and waiting for fusion surgery, I ordered a new one. It is wonderful! If you need immobilization whether for a few days or a few weeks, this cast is perfect! Shipping was very fast, and was an easy transaction.

This product is sturdy, quick, and easy to use and provides excellent immobilization at the ankle with the benefit of being able to bear weight and walk. It is fairly heavy, and a bit bulky (like the picture shows), but thin enough to easily wear pants or jeans over top. I had to wear this for 10 days after severely spraining and dislocating my ankle, and it was a life saver since I couldn't take off work or stop moving about, and crutches were really not an option. At the end of the 10 days the weight of the boot was starting to affect the muscles in my upper leg and lower back, but I think that's just part of the game when you have to compensate for an injury. Great product I'll be keeping around for future "just in case" events.

Had a metatarsal stress reaction/fracture from running too many miles with insufficient recovery. This boot was just what the doctor ordered. Very comfortable with plenty of support. Not heavy (don't understand the comments stating that it's heavy-it's not). Easy to put on/take off. Air chambers on both sides of ankle can be inflated to your personal preference for additional support. Rocker bottom makes ambulation easy and pain-free, and the bottom's soft material grips well on slippery surfaces-very much appreciated when walking around the swimming pool. Highly recommended.

It is also excellent for packing a dressing to treat sucking wounds, and, sealing some perforated wounds. In short, it will be helpful for treating anything from a bullet wound to the chest, to, minor scrapes for children and pets.

The packaging is excellent. When I read the other review, I was worried that I would only get 10 packets. However, the packing is ten small boxes (which will fit anywhere) and there are ten .5 gram packets per box for a total of 100 useable doses.

This is far more economical than ordering the larger tubes. Once you open the larger tubes, the anti-biotics start to deteriorate. One of the larger tubes (often costing over $10.00 per tube) is enough to treat a regiment for a month and will lose its potency long before the average user can consume the majority of the tube.

These small packets are perfect for strewing across stored camping gear, vehicles (truck, car, trailer, ATV, tractor) etc. so that you always have an antibiotic ointment available that is fresh.

I ordered this antibiotic ointment to replace the expired stuff in my Xterra's first aid kit and our other first aid kits. I have found it very handy to have antibiotic ointment around, and it seemed a waste to buy all new kits when you can just replaced the expired items.

I was amazed at this value--you really do get 100 packets of ointment for such a low price. I had more than enough for my needs, and even gave away a couple boxes to friends and co-workers.

Most importantly, this antibiotic ointment works. I have used it on myself and my dog with excellent results.

My only suggestion for this item would be less packaging. You get 10 boxes, each more than big enough to contain 10 packets. There would be less waste if there were fewer boxes, and I immediately tossed the boxes anyway. I would have gladly accepted this item if the 100 packets were in one resealable bag.

First off let me just say the ointment is actually really great, I was just annoyed by the small portion in each packet. Not only that but the packets themselves are small but in a big box. Didn't make much sense, quite frankly the could have doubled up the packets in the boxes so I wouldn't have to do that myself to save space in my first aid bag. Very expensive if you consider the fact you could just buy a tube of antibiotic ointment for 88 cents at most dollar stores or walmarts. Wish having individually wrapped packets could have been more reasonably priced.

This is a very good ointment. I like it very much. I use it on myself and actually on my dog. My dog had a small rash and someone told me to put triple antibiotic ointment on it, and that is exactly what I did. After couple of days rash was completely gone. I love this product!!!

I keep a home first aid kit as well as a substantial-sized portable kit for community events and "on the go" emergencies. I used to include tubes of triple antibiotic ointment in each of these, but tubes have a problem once you open them up, they are no longer sterile. This is maybe not such a big idea when the only people likely to use them are yourself and your family, but it's less desirable when you may have to treat total strangers.

These single-use packs provide the perfect amount of antibiotic ointment for cuts and small scratches. For larger wounds, you will probably need to open up two or three packs. The ones I got were fresh and in-date, with about 2 years left before their expiration date. I've used them on my own minor injuries, and they work very well.

As others have stated, the packaging is rather wasteful for these. Each 10 packs are in a cardboard box, and the 10 cardboard boxes you get with this order are enclosed in a sealed plastic bag. I guess this might be useful if you are looking to resell them, or outfitting multiple first aid kits. But for my own purposes, I would have been happier if they eliminated all the cardboard and just packaged in a plastic bag with a single ingredient/dosing information sheet.

Pricing is good for single-use packs. More expensive than you would pay for a larger tube at the local drugstore, but as explained above there are times you might not want a communal tube.

I love the BD brand. I bought some which stated they were the generic for BD and were pictured in a box that looked just about like the BD brand so I tried them. Oh boy was I disappointed, they were thinner not as moist and the material they were made with was not the same it was thinner and slick so it was hard to hold in order to wipe the area. I have to take 2 shots twice a day and with the real BD brand they are good enough to whip my finger and both injection sites. Not the Generic ones. So BD cost a little more but in my book they are well worth it. I give them 5 stars all around.
