These toothpicks are almost as good as flossing your teeth. Unlike standard or wooden toothpicks these allow you to get food particles from between your teeth with no risk of splintering, as is the tendency with wooden toothpicks. For years I purchased this item from a local drug store but that chain has discontinued carrying this product. Thankfully I can still get them through the internet.

BD Ace Elastic Bandage with Velcro Closure, Each

BD Ace Elastic Bandage with Velcro Closure, 4' Wide, EachI love the BD Ace Elastic Bandage with velcro closure. I've used two 4 in wide versions on my lower legs for several months. The same bandages. They can be washed, and the velcro is still holding after two months of daily use. They hold great. Much better than wrestling with metal clips.

Love the velcro closure

Will start using only this type of ace bandance.

Medline Adjustable Aluminum Cane

Adjustable Aluminum Cane - Standard Handle Aluminum Cane - Black - 6 eachI need a cane for safety walking. My old Medline cane was beginning to wear so I went on the Internet to find a new one as they are not in stores around here. Imagine my surprise when I found these! I have a habit of "parking" my cane and then forgetting where I left it. Now I have canes to spare and are never without one handy! They arrived on time, wrapped nicely and in perfect condition!

I am very happy with my purchase.

Eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream, 2-Ounce

Eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream, 2-OunceI am a make-up artist and currently am going to school for Dermatology. I have skin that is dry, ashy, blotchy, and sometimes itchy too. I am between age groups for young and mature skin (28-33), but still not old enough for anything with severe wrinkle and anti-age protection. I found the ECLOS product line at my local Ulta store. I was out of my old moisturizer and to be honest wasnt that pleased with it's performance. I was looking for something that offered all day moisture care and moderate to mild anti-ageing properties. I have never been to keen on jumping the gun on age preventatives in products because i believe that if you start age therapy too soon on young skin, in the end your skin will begin to depend on the things your feeding it on a day to day basis. I also have sensative skin, i am allergic to Salacylic Acid in any %. So that makes it hard to even find cleansing products most of the time. Right away I was intrigued that this product was natural, No Parabens, Sulfates, Perto-Chemicals. I liked that it's main ingredient was organic in nature, plant derived from Swiss Apples and uses Plant Stem Cells for anti-age therapy. I purchased the moisturizer blindly, without reading any product reviews...Decided i'd give it a week on my face as both my day and night cream. Ok laides, pay attention...THIS PRODUCT BLEW ME AWAY!!! The creamy texture of it is well balanced, never heavy, greasy, or oily. I apply it all over my face AND neck. Just enough to get a good even coat (ie: 5 dots of it. One for each cheek, one on my forehead, one on my chin, and then one more for my neck). My skin is moist like i've never felt before, supple and "dewy". It has a mild fresh lemmon scent, which is refreshing and disapates after a few minutes. For the last month my skin has been bright, firm, and has had this youthful glow. Even my Fianc'e has noticed my skin looking younger. He likes the smell, says it's pleasant, smells clean and refreshing. The moisture this cream packs is seriously amazing, my skin stays perfectly moist all day long. It's almost winter and for years now i've had a hard time with maintaining that moisture in my skin. With this product my search is over. I think the price point of this product is reasonable too, considering i've paid almost $40 for some name brand creams and was disappointed time after time.

Overall, AMAZING MOISTURIZER, great vaule in price! Hope this helps!!!

I'v always had a hard time finding a moisterizer that works for me sensitive to combo skin and now I'm into the 50 yr range which just adds to my issue of finding that just right cream. I'm on my 2nd container [I think using about 4 month or so?], and my skin has never been better.

I def noticed my pores have gotten smaller, which is pretty awesome. My skin is soft and well moisturized. It has an OK smell, nothing over powering. It doesn't feel to thick or greasy. I use it every morning and I like it. I havent noticed any tightening of my skin or reduction in fine lines, just the smaller pores. Remarkably smaller pores. Ive been using it about 3-4 weeks now.

I was hooked on the Eclos line after trying their skin prep cleanser; the products ended up being on a super-mega sale a couple of weeks later-so I took it as a sign of good luck and bought the rest of the items.

I'm an oil-slick girl that lives in humid weather two-thirds of the year, and even though I handle my skin well, I still get some breakouts that are rather annoying (especially during the hormonal fluctuations during that time of the month). After sticking with the Eclos line for about a month now, I've thrown away / completely stopped using my Body Shop, Ponds and Neutrogena products. This is actually one of the most shocking things I've realized about my regime, since I'm a product hoarder and can't stand to see something be tossed until it's used to a certain extent.

This line really kicks some ass, and it does a great job at balancing my skin's oil production. My favorite aspects include the scars on my problem areas being diminished, my pores refined, and my skin getting that dewy glow that's seen in Asian skin care posters and celebrities. Every day I've been waking up only needing minimal concealer, blush and mascara. It definitely holds true to the anti-aging properties found in the products; I'm about to graduate college, but lately my younger sister's (high school grad) friends now assume she's the oldest in the family. (It's also hilarious I've been getting way more ID checks at gas stations and stores, too, lol.)

If there's ever a godsend in this world, this line is one of them. Deeeefinitely hooked, and I really hope it stays that way.

This product is for those of you that cannot put anything on your face because you break out. My skin is prone to breaking out for any and every reason. When I saw the ingredients this product had I thought it would be worth a try. I am so happy I did. My face never broke out, I was thinking that for sure I would break out in the beginning while my face adjusted to it. But no I never did. It even helped heal some small pimples that were stubborn in going away. I was amazed! I use it every other day at night only, a small dime size each on each cheek, forehead, chin, and neck. I strongly recommend this product! I've tried so many organic products but all just caused me to break out after a few days of using it. This product never caused me any breakout and I've been using it for almost 1 month!!! Now if they only made make up!!!!

Result: super soft skin, texture appears more even, makeup goes on so much better in the morning, compliments on face galore.

Johnson and Johnson Red Cross Cloth, All Purpose 1/2 Inch X 5 Yards 1-Count (Pack of 6)

Johnson and Johnson Red Cross Cloth, All Purpose 1/2 Inch X 5 Yards 1-CountI found one of these that was probably about 20 years old at my mother-in-laws house. I use it to tape a sponge spacer in between my outside 2 toes. It was hard to find the tape in the actual dispenser. It is so handy to pull out what you need and then use the cutter to cut the tape and close the dispenser.

This tape barely sticks to itself let alone skin or gauze. I am truly at a loss for how to make this tape work.

US Customs & Border Protection Casualty Response Kit

US Customs & Border Protection Casualty Response KitI ordered this as a compact first aid kit. It comes with some essentials that fit into a small pack and has minimal weight. Have not had to use it yet, but am glad to have it. It is also designed to attach to the exterior of a pack.

I got it to put on my duty belt. It would have been nice to have a choice of material for the carrier, but it works. I wanted a blow out kit that I would have on me whenever I'm in uniform. A big big, but not to bad. It's great to have it where I can get to it with either hand.

This is an excellent kit to use as a base for a personal trauma kit. I added a hemistatic bandage and an NPA and some other small items that I like to have. It has a small form factor that allows it to be placed almost anywhere you want using the MOLLE attachment.

The seller was great abd easy to work with.

Active Innovations Dorsal Night Splint - Black (Small) by Cramer

Active Innovations Dorsal Night Splint - Black by CramerThis is my second dorsal night splint. I purchased one several years ago to deal with my plantar fasciitis and was very pleased with its performance. It fit well and was comfortable and durable and I had no hesitation about buying another if I ever needed it.

The splint works by securing the wearer's foot in a neutral position by use of a rigid plastic shell secured to the leg by velcro straps. The splint is adjustable for left or right foot by means of a "split" plastic foot cup that, once adjusted, is held in place by a third velcro strap. The splint is fairly light and comfortable compared to heavier boot-type splints. It is open at the back, making it lighter and cooler to wear through the night.

I needed a second splint because my PT recently recurred in both feet. I had no hesitation in ordering a second of the same model because, as mentioned above, it is easy to adjust, light and fairly comfortable, and I had a good experience with my first one. Since I was going to need two, I wanted to make sure that they would be of the same design and weight and that I could tolerate wearing both.

However, the splint I recently purchased pales in comparison to the first one, although they are both made by the same company. The design of the DNS in general includes a soft fabric lining inside the hard plastic shell of the splint with a small split in the material to allow for stress on the interior without tearing the fabric. In my older splint, the plastic shell that protrudes slightly through that split in the fabric doesn't interfere with the comfort of the splint at all; in this latest version, that plastic protrusion is rough and scratches the top of my foot. Since the splint must be snug to work, loosening it to take the pressure off defeats the purpose, so I had to line it myself with moleskin just so I could tolerate that little bit of plastic against my skin. I compared the same areas of both splints and while both have what I "think" might be a mold line, the protrusion in the earlier splint is fairly smooth; I can only describe that same portion of the second splint as jagged.

My main complaint, though, involves the foot portion of the newer splint, which, let's face it, is the most important component. Both have the same design the foot portion is adjustable for right or left, with the adjustment being made by means of sliding one side of the foot cup under or over the other side, held in place by a velcro strap that goes around the instep. The idea is that the wearer adjusts the strap once based on his or her foot size, secures it snugly, and doesn't have to readjust it on a regular basis. The velcro strap that secures it is not supposed to slide or otherwise move from that position, guaranteeing that the wearer's foot will remain unflexed throughout the night. On the newer splint, the velcro strap (which is heavier in weight than the original) slides all over the place, no matter how I adjust the foot cup or orient the leg straps. As a result, by morning (and sometimes halfway through the night), the foot portion is loose, and the leg straps have shifted as well, and I'm pretty sure that my foot has spent a good deal of the night out of the correct position. Let me be perfectly clear about this point: The problems I'm having with this splint are not the result of inexperience. I know how to use it and how it should feel and perform and what is more, I have something to directly compare it to. In my opinion, this newer splint is poorly designed and manufactured compared to the other one I have.

The wearer can walk a short distance in this splint, e.g., for a few steps to the bathroom in the night. This newer splint has a traction patch on the underside (the older splint never needed one; perhaps the thickness and smoothness of the new velcro straps is the reason) that catches on carpet and causes the splint to stop abruptly, which adds to the instability of the strap around the foot. It is forced backward underneath, which causes it to loosen and allow the foot cup to open slightly. I can easily imagine someone who is not used to using a splint like this losing his or her balance and perhaps tripping over the front of the splint.

I purchased this item through a company that sells here on Amazon. I am not sure if it was a "second", or if it is a discontinued design,or if I just got a bad one, but If I were a first-time user, I would never buy this again. However, since I've used the original product with great success before, I am disappointed that the newer version is clearly inferior. If I ever need another one, I'll hunt it down in a brick-and-mortar store so I can look at it firsthand, rather than take a chance on buying it online. Since the company I purchased it through does not pay return shipping AND adds a restocking fee, it is not worth it to me to return the item I'll just have to jerry-rig it as best I can to get through this lastest bout of plantar fasciitis and look for another appliance to replace it in the future.

Amazing SPIDER MAN Cold Pack for Instant Pain Relief Non-toxic, Reusable and Hygienic

Amazing SPIDER MAN Cold Pack for Instant Pain Relief Non-toxic, Reusable and HygienicMy three year old reaches for this any time he has a bump, bug bite, an itch, or just wants to feel a cold Spider Man head. This item does just what it's made to do: comfort a young child's bumps and bruises.

The surface area on this one is pretty small so it doesn't stay as cold for as long as say, the Spongebob cold pack. But it's great for minor bumps, especially if your child loves Spider Man.

Cluffy Wedge for Hallux Limitus ALL

Cluffy Wedge for Hallux Limitus - SmallI recently ordered the Cluffy wedge after seeing a podiatrist. He put me in insoles, but I felt that my continuing pain in my big toes would benefit from trying out the Cluffy wedge. Couldn't hurt, could it?

Let me first point out that there are two styles, the black wedge and the red. Also, the listing does not say if they come in pairs, or singly, so I ordered two. I ended up with two pairs. Which is fine, as I'll explain later. Make sure you view this video on how to properly fit for the Cluffy wedge. I was apparently clueless. My order inadvertently, and fortunately, ended up being one pair of black wedges, and one pair of red wedges. I ordered small even though I think I need a medium because medium was out of stock. I'm about to start marathon training in three weeks, no time to wait!!!

I applied the black pair and have put about 20 miles on them. They dig into my big toes and have caused my big toe calluses to become inflamed! I have been considering putting the wedges on the bottom of my insole, but was concerned it would affect the rest of my foot. But! After watching the video, I learned the black pair goes on top, and the red on the bottom, so I am completely set! All I have to do is go home and remove the black pair and put the red pair on the bottom and bam! No rubbing!

My big toe pain is very minimal now, it is I'd say about 98% improved, which is fantastic. I would get up in the morning and hobble, and hobble to the printer at work. If you are not a runner and are using these for walking, etc, I'm sure the black top pair would be fine, it's just that when you run any rubbing etc becomes magnified. Even my arch pain that was still a little tweaky has cleared up. I give this product 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish there was more info up front about it. You'd think a little wedge is no big deal, but it really must be applied and sized properly. I wish someone had told me all the stuff that I'd put in this review before I ordered.

I suffered n injury to one toe while running, stepped in a pot hole during a race, and over time I've developed a chronic big toe problem, Hallux Limitus, that has made running not only uncomfortable but effected my gait significantly to make me totally less efficient. I've had the wedge for a week and have had 4 runs totaling 20 miles, with two 6 milers. I feel more comfortable and my running feels more productive. I also put the wedge that glues to an insole in my work shoes and the top of the metatarsal feels less painful as well as the toe. I have not got to the point where it's totally comfortable always when running, but I feel significant relief. My concern is that the wedge will compress over a short period of time. I wish you got two wedges for your money or instead of getting one for the left and right toe, you can get two for the affected toe. I don't need one for the unaffected toe. Thus, the wedge has helped a lot but I may consider the X-1 Blade orthotic made by Indiana Brace for long term relief of Hallux Limitus.

Buy Cluffy Wedge for Hallux Limitus ALL Now

I can't deny, at this point, that the wedge has resulted in improvement--has relieved the pressure I was feeling at the base of one of my big toes. That said, there's a reason I know, and that's the difference between four and five stars.

Ideal placement of the wedge is difficult. From experience now, I would advise anyone to attach a temporary adhesive--maybe just a rolled up piece of masking tape--to the bottom of the wedge BEFORE removing the cover which exposes the actual manufacturer's adhesive. Give yourself some freedom to experiment with the right position. In my case, ideal placement on the insert outside of one shoe turned out not to be quite right when returned to the inside of the shoe. I pretty quickly removed the wedge to better position it, and most of the factory adhesive was still attached to the bottom of the wedge, but the damage was already done. The adhesive used with the wedge was not up to the task of being repositioned, and that began a period of regular slippage and repositioning until the adhesive that remained was useless, at which point I stopped using the wedge in that shoe for a few weeks.

Those few weeks without the wedge again were enough to demonstrate the comfort and the benefit lost, which is how I know the wedge is worth using and keeping. That said, even the wedge in the other shoe, which I applied for symmetry and under the assumption that my other foot might also benefit, has slipped slightly with time. I've since applied strips of Loctite Power Grab Mounting Tape, which seems to do fairly well, although there is still some gradual movement and I expect to have to replace the tape again. The tape is also thick enough that the flush fitting of the wedge against the insert is altered, but not too badly.

I will add that the fabric coating on the top side of each wedge was quickly worn away, but also apparently pointless. Having removed it completely now, I feel no difference, so it's apparently cosmetic and not functional.

There's probably all of fifty cents in the material cost of these wedges and, as stated, application isn't flawless, but I do think I've gotten a good return and will very likely purchase another pair at some point for a separate pair of shoes. My hope is that development on the wedge continues and results in a five-star product when I do make that second purchase.

I admit that I was, skeptical. I was also desperate. I love to run but couldn't stand the pain. This, actually helped a ton. My only dislike is it didn't work with my other toe. I really didn't need it to, but it felt a little awkward. Overall it has been a lifesaver.

Johnson & Johnson First Aid Waterproof Tape (1-Inch x 10-Yards) (Pack of 2)

Johnson & Johnson First Aid Waterproof TapeI use this product for myself and for my dogs. I always like to keep at least two rolls on hand, so getting a pack of four on Amazon was great (the price was better here than buying them individually at the drug store or at other online stores). The product packaging was good, and the product arrived in good shape, ready to use. This tape is great to apply to dressings that you don't want to get wet if applied correctly, it keeps the dressing under it completely dry. I have tried some off-brand products, but they don't stick as well as this tape.

I bought this particular batch after my dog got a cut on her pad, and I had to bandage it daily for four weeks. This product was literally a life saver as she couldn't get the wound wet and even in the rain it kept the water off the dressing and her wound. I applied six strips over the dressing on her paw and it worked well to keep the water out. I would definitely buy again.

Holds up pretty good for about two showers.. much better than regular tape though. When you reach the final strands it does not stick to well at all, so its best to just get a new roll.

Overall worth it.

Thermal-Aid Bears: Natural Heating and Cooling Packs for Kids

Thermal-Aid Blue Bear: BuckleyNot safe!

Just bought 2 of these for little girls, ages 6 and 8. The first few times they were microwaved they were fine, however, after using them several times, one of them came out of the microwave very hot, then suddenly began smoking and giving off awful fumes.

It just got hotter and hotter, and began to ignite. We tossed it out into the snow, where it smoldered and burned for over 20 minutes. It wasn't the corn part that burnt, but the head of the bear. I will return this to the store where it was purchased, but I strongly advise against letting a child use these. The warning (in tiny print on the tag) says not to let any part of the bear touch the sides of the microwave. It is possible this is what happened, but this might be difficult to prevent on a small turntable in a microwave.

I have a feeling these will not be on the market long. Buyer, beware!

This bear, when you heat it, smells like burned popcorn. I bought it for my daughter's birthday, and she hates the smell and won't use it. Her little brother got a stuffed dog that you heat up for Christmas and it smells like lavender. It is also soft and cuddly. This bear has thin fabric, like a cheap washcloth, and it is not cuddly. I thought it would be good to buy something "natural" and "made in America", but I was wrong. Gross bear, don't buy this stinky product!!

Luckily I bought this for $7 at a superstore that sells bulk stuff. Cause had I paid $20 for it, I would send it back. For spending 6 hours I'm the deep freeze, the coolness is vague and lasts a short while, less than an hour before he needs to be chilled. I suffer from chronic migraines. I like the weight of it so I can lay down with it resting on my head, but the chill factor is very low and BEAR-ly noticeable. I love a good pun. I haven't needed to heat him up, so I don't know how well that works, but if the chill factor is an indication, not gonna even bother. Bummer.

Want Thermal-Aid Bears: Natural Heating and Cooling Packs for Kids Discount?

We used the bear hot pack 2-4 times a day. There was a distinct smoky odor from the first time we microwaved. We quickly noticed that the head of the bear got much warmer than the body, but would also cool quickly. The smoky smell grew a little stronger every time we microwaved it, until this morning when the nose of the bear came out singed and smoldering (with a pungent smell, that's still on my hands). I had to soak the head in cold water to stop the smoking. The burn appears to run through the bear's head. The head's filling is supposed to be cotton batting, so I suspect that some adulteration (paper, metal or cigarette butt) got manufactured into our bear and eventually burned through.
