Mastisol Liquid Adhesive, Latex-Free, 2 fl oz

Mastisol Liquid Adhesive, Latex-Free, 2 fl ozSo, I'm fairly new to using an insulin pump and infusion sets. Unfortunately for me, here in the southeast of the USA, I tend to sweat a LOT during spring, summer and fall. So, even with IV Prep wipes to help make my skin more adhesive, I expect I will need a little bit extra sticking power.

Now, as much as I like to just "throw things at the wall until they stick", I found another review of this by someone else who needed that extra bit of sticking power. Well, I've tried it and it does the trick. I used the IV Prep to prepare my skin. That does a great job when I'm not sweating a lot. But by using a Q-Tip to spread this onto the infusion set adhesive .. the adhesion it had to my skin was pretty remarkable. I don't anticipate any problems this upcoming summer.

Of course, if you are considering using this, it's always wise to check for allergies before purchasing a 2 fluid ounce bottle.

Highly recommended if you need something to stick to your skin! I'm a type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump, which requires me to change out an injection site every 3-4 days. The adhesive on my supplies always seemed to come off if I went swimming or worked up a sweat. I started by trying to put down an IV prep product (IV 3000) but that never completely stopped the problem. Enter: Mastisol. Dang this stuff is sticky! I use a Q-tip to apply it because it can be very hard to get off your hands. If you need something to stay stuck on your skin, this is the stuff. Don't worry too much though, a good band aid style rip and it does of course come off. Baby oil helps too I've found if needed. By the end of 3-4 days, I can usually peel off my dressing no problem. Been using this stuff for years now and never had any problems. I'm probably on my 7th or 8th bottle!

I use this to help hold insulin pump sensors and quick sets to my body, especially in hot weather. This stuff really STICKS!! It's easy to get off when you're done, but holds your items to your body while you want them there. Only caution; don't spill any on anything! I'll be trying nail polish remover next to get it off my sink. But for the purpose intended, you can't go wrong. Only need a dab, so a bottle lasts a long time too. Totally recommend it!

Medique 818M25P 25-Person Metal First Aid Kit

Medique 818M25P 25-Person Metal First Aid KitI don't normally write reviews but since there is no way to contact the seller I feel I must. I ordered two of these and regret it. What you see in the picture is NOT what you get. In the picture you can clearly see Ace Bandage wrap, gauze roll, large tape roll. There is no ace wrap, no gauze roll and the tape that comes with this is laughable. I would estimate the value of the contents to be roughly $2.50. Cheap and a ripoff at best.

Seller, Take a new picture so you aren't tricking people into buying something they don't want.

I bought this first aid kit for my husband to use in the garage. The metal case easily mounted on the wall and holds all of the necessities. The bandages/medical supplies that come with the kit are pretty standard no big surprises there. I mostly bought this kit because it is metal and I figured it would withstand garage use better than a plastic case. I am happy with the product and would recommend it.

My husband has this kit in his truck. Being a truck driver the cab bounces and the plastic kits would just crack. This one doesn't have that issue since it's metal. Since it's a 25 person kit he has all the first aid stuff he needs. These are great for your house or car. It's better to have extra stuff than not enough.

Dr. Mom Complete Nursery Care Kit

Dr. Mom Complete Nursery Care Kit, PinkI bought this kit when we were preparing for our son's arrival and I didn't know what I'd need to have on hand. He's now three months old and we've used a handful of the items -the aspirator, the forehead thermometer, the digital thermometer, the nail clipper and the nail files. I was particularly glad to have the health-related items on hand when we suspected our baby might be sick or congested late in the evening.

I have no complaints about the quality of the components, and I imagine we'll go on to use other items (hair brush, toothbrush, teething ring) within the next several months. I don't think we'll need the syringes, since most medications come with their own, but I guess they don't hurt to have.

All in all, a good buy at a good price that lets new parents feel prepared.

I love this kit! It brings everything I need for my baby both grooming and safety wise all in one cute package. I was searching the stores for the best deal on grooming and safety supplies and all kits lacked some item so I would have been forced to buy separately which is more expensive or they did not come in a nice color for a baby girl. I am glad I found this. Thank you amazon for having it in stock.

Not BPA free, thermometer takes forever to work, syringe is questionable, snot sucker does not work... all in all, pretty useless.

Several items in the kit seem a little cheap. We ended up buying another thermometer that was faster at reading. Our baby is still very young so there has not been cause to use everything in the kit as yet.

Bought this kit as a gift for a new mom who had registered for it. Carrying case did not match the photo. Instead of being solid pink it was a pink pattern. Not a big deal but always annoying when the pictures aren't accurate. Kit seems to include all the essentials.

California Exotics Emergency First Aid Kit Vibrator

California Exotics Emergency First Aid Kit VibratorSo i bought this as a replacement vibe from my clitorial simulator and this is just the best! I wanted this one because it had different speeds and that it's discreet. It only uses one AA battery and comes in that cute case. It fits easily in any purse, drawer, ect. Would recommend!

I was immediately drawn to this because the case was so cute and funny! I got it for me and my fireman fella and he thought it was hysterical as well. After getting over the initial "cuteness" factor, I was surprised at the power in this one! It is pretty quiet, even on high, which is a nice change from vibrators I have tried in the past and it DEFINITELY served its purpose for me. My guy and I have a lot of fun with it and the price was great for all the fun it has brought us. Highly recommended!

Buy California Exotics Emergency First Aid Kit Vibrator Now

This is my first traditional style vibrator; I have only used a small cheap nubby clitoral vibrator in the past (one of those you put on your finger.) That vibrator wasn't that strong, nor was it multispeed. I bought this "Emergency" vibrator mainly for the multispeed at a low price, just to try it out. I have to admit, I have hardly used it due to the noise level. The highest setting is about as loud as my electric razor (a Clio, I have reviewed that also), or an electric toothbrush to use another example. I have not used it on the highest setting because of this, as I do not live alone and am worried about it being heard through my bedroom door. Also, a loud motor kind of puts you out of the mood. :( I suppose this should be expected since it takes one double A battery, but as I said this was my first one. I would think perhaps more expensive ones are quieter?

I have however used it a few times on the lowest setting, which is sort of as powerful as my clit vibe (which I have reviewed as well), though it does NOTHING for me. It's nice...but my hand does more. I ended up just turning it off and using it manually. That worked better..(the tip is nice) but still not as well (or quick) as without anything.

I have not yet tried it internally, so the reviewer below me can rate that better. :) I am somewhat hesitant to try this type of vibrator again, but perhaps I will in the future. I will splurge and try a more expensive one, and look for good noise level reviews.

As a beginner with vibrators though, it was a good learning experience. If you don't mind noise, for the price you may want to give it a shot. I plan on experimenting with it more since I have it. Maybe I'll get to use the high settings one day. ;)

This product is inexpensive and gets the job done. Though its a little louder than other ones i have. Great product and the perfect size. The case is cool too :)

I ordered this product almost a year ago just because it came in a cute little case and turns out it has been a lot of fun to have. the only issue i have with this little gut is that the speed adjuster moves very easily and the batteries dont last very long, and it is kind of noisey . But i would deff. recommend this product for beginners.

LifeLine AAA 300 PSI 12 Volt DC Air Compressor

LifeLine AAA 300 PSI 12 Volt DC Air CompressorNO this is Not a commercial air compressor, it's meant for occasional home use and it does just fine in that capacity. Yes it takes a bit longer to fill up a tire and it makes a lot of noise for something this size. If you want something faster and quieter you can spend two to three times more. I personally don't think it is worth it for what I use it for.

This works well to top off a tires air pressure, a beach ball, football etc. It will not fill up a pool float, air mattress or anything large it just does not produce the large volume of air required to do so.

I only use this 5 to 6 times a year and have been doing so for 4 plus years with the same compressor. This has held up exceptionally well even though it sounds like it is going to fall apart when I run it. It has basically paid for itself with the gas I have saved going to the service station and the fee they charge to use there compressor. Also keeping your tires inflated to the right pressure will slow down on tire wear and maximize the miles per gallon of gas you use.

The negatives are;

1~ It takes longer to fill a tire.

2~ It's noisy.

3~ The fill hose could be longer to fill larger SUV tires.

4~ The gauge is not very accurate. ( I use a separate tire gauge to check the pressure )

The positives are;

1~ It's inexpensive.

2~ It works quite well.

3~ It held up well.

4~ It's compact and easy to store.

5~ My wife thinks I am working very hard outside with all the noise this makes.

All and all this is a good reasonably priced compressor that works quite well.

i have read all the reviews of this type of product and i'm sure glad i didn't go over budget with this one. this thing is noisy for sure but not deafening if you are outdoor. it is slow compared to the station pump but it did a large SUV tire in ten minutes.....not bad i say. the pressure guage is accurate enough when i compared it to the pocket devices. but it is so light, small, easy to use and affordable that you have to accept a few short comings. overall it does the intended job simply good enough for me and i would expect most people to be satisfied also. my one concern with it is that there is no safety blow off system so my wife must pay attention for the ten minutes watching that pressure guage. then again, it is made for adults.

Buy LifeLine AAA 300 PSI 12 Volt DC Air Compressor Now

This pump isn't as slow as some of the people here have claimed. It pumps about 2 PSI per minute, which isn't bad given it's size and price. If your tire is 10 PSI low, it will only take about 5 minutes.

Yes, it's loud, but it's an air compressor, what were you expecting? The cords tuck away, and the construction is more sturdy than other models I've seen. I'd recommend having one of these in your car in case you run over a nail or something. This will help you inflate your tire long enough to reach a service station.

I bought this portable compressor to keep the tires in my 1959 Chevy up during the winter months. It did a great job as I re-filled the tires from 20 psi to 35 psi in about 4 minutes. quick and easy. good product.

This worked wellfor a short while.

It suddenly stopped working (used about 5-6 times).

The thin plastic gear broke off a few teeth, so the thing is garbage (no way to replace that gear).

Thermal-Aid Bears: Natural Heating and Cooling Packs for Kids

Thermal-Aid Blue Bear: BuckleyNot safe!

Just bought 2 of these for little girls, ages 6 and 8. The first few times they were microwaved they were fine, however, after using them several times, one of them came out of the microwave very hot, then suddenly began smoking and giving off awful fumes.

It just got hotter and hotter, and began to ignite. We tossed it out into the snow, where it smoldered and burned for over 20 minutes. It wasn't the corn part that burnt, but the head of the bear. I will return this to the store where it was purchased, but I strongly advise against letting a child use these. The warning (in tiny print on the tag) says not to let any part of the bear touch the sides of the microwave. It is possible this is what happened, but this might be difficult to prevent on a small turntable in a microwave.

I have a feeling these will not be on the market long. Buyer, beware!

This bear, when you heat it, smells like burned popcorn. I bought it for my daughter's birthday, and she hates the smell and won't use it. Her little brother got a stuffed dog that you heat up for Christmas and it smells like lavender. It is also soft and cuddly. This bear has thin fabric, like a cheap washcloth, and it is not cuddly. I thought it would be good to buy something "natural" and "made in America", but I was wrong. Gross bear, don't buy this stinky product!!

Luckily I bought this for $7 at a superstore that sells bulk stuff. Cause had I paid $20 for it, I would send it back. For spending 6 hours I'm the deep freeze, the coolness is vague and lasts a short while, less than an hour before he needs to be chilled. I suffer from chronic migraines. I like the weight of it so I can lay down with it resting on my head, but the chill factor is very low and BEAR-ly noticeable. I love a good pun. I haven't needed to heat him up, so I don't know how well that works, but if the chill factor is an indication, not gonna even bother. Bummer.

Love the bear! I wish the whole bear had corn/beans inside instead of the stuffing in the head, legs, and arms.

Want Thermal-Aid Bears: Natural Heating and Cooling Packs for Kids Discount?

We used the bear hot pack 2-4 times a day. There was a distinct smoky odor from the first time we microwaved. We quickly noticed that the head of the bear got much warmer than the body, but would also cool quickly. The smoky smell grew a little stronger every time we microwaved it, until this morning when the nose of the bear came out singed and smoldering (with a pungent smell, that's still on my hands). I had to soak the head in cold water to stop the smoking. The burn appears to run through the bear's head. The head's filling is supposed to be cotton batting, so I suspect that some adulteration (paper, metal or cigarette butt) got manufactured into our bear and eventually burned through.

Ivy-Dry Defense Cream Size 5.5 ounces

Ivy-Dry Defense Cream Size 5.5 ouncesAs a mountain biker in coastal California, I'm surrounded by the scourge that is Poison Oak. Over the past 14 years, the early years often resulted in doctor visits for pills and/or injections to ease the uncontrollable, horrible leaky symptoms. As the years went on, I developed regimens to help reduce the chance of contamination. Tecnu immediately after the ride, and scrubs like Tecnu Extreme or Zanfel if ANY itch showed up after a couple of days or so. Tecnu by itself was never a guarantee that I wouldn't develop a rash. But as part of my regimen and diligently paying attention to itchiness, I managed to dramatically reduce my issues with the vile weed. Trouble is, I never knew if I didn't get it simply because I didn't have contact.

The point of all this is I've dealt with oak for a while, and nothing seemed to protect me completely until I discovered Ivy-Dry Defense. I tried another product before (Ivy-Block) which worked well, but was much messier (left a white film all over). Ivy-Defense has sunscreen, and absorbs nicely, fully disappears. I've been using the stuff for a few years now, and it's become a solid part of my ritual, to the point where if I forget to put it on, I'm bummed.

The important take-away for me is that before I started using it, I'd get the occasional bout of oak. Since I've started using it, I don't. I still always follow my ride with Tecnu, and if I'm concerned about major exposure, a scrub as well, but I don't get oak anymore. I couldn't say the same when the same ritual didn't include Ivy-Defense. Good enough for me.

This product works incredibly well for me. I've tried many different products to both prevent and treat poison oak over the last 20 years and this is, by far, the best. I've had the rash from poison oak so many times that it now seems that I'm hyper-sensitive. Despite using products like Ivy Block, Tecnu, etc., avoiding contact with any plants that I could see, and wearing multiple layers of clothing, my legs and forearms would be covered in a poison oak rash after working outside. Wintertime was especially troublesome because it's hard to identify the plant and try to avoid coming in contact with it (the leafless stems are just as potent as the plant with its leaves). Now, I liberally apply this product, wear two layers of clothing and, after working outside on 4-5 different days, I haven't had a poison oak rash...thank goodness! Ivy-Dry saves me from the horrible itching and "weeping", a trip to the doctor, and ten days on cortisone. It's definitely worth the money!
