Now I totally understand, "You get what you pay for!" I am amazed at the quality of the inner and outer design of this product. This massager is the most quiet device I have ever owned. Quiet enough to where my husband did not even hear it twice! It is discreet and form fitting. The silicon pink portion is very soft to the touch. NOTABLE PROBLEMS WITH THE SIRI

When I heard that the Siri was even more powerful than the Hitachi Magic Wand, I was excited to buy it. I was not excited when I received it however, as it has some problems that need to be noted. I found the Siri to be very hard to hold on to. Not only was it very small and hard to keep a grip on, but I kept accidentally hitting it's 4 buttons. They are very sensitive and easy to trigger. Also, you have to be very careful not to get the part that hooks in to the charger wet. That is hard to do with such a small device. I found myself more worried about the toy rather than pleasuring myself. Also, my Siri didn't want to completely charge the first time I charged it. When I plugged it in, the lights stopped blinking after just about 5 minutes (which indicates that the gadget is fully charged) and it was not fully charged. This toy runs out of juice a lot faster than it says it does too. It boasts lasting for 4 hours on a 2 hour charge, but it only lasted about an hour and a half. Actually a little less.

SHOULD I BUY A SIRI?

In my humble opinion, the Hitachi Magic Wand may be very large and not as sexy looking as the Siri, but it is a whole lot more fun to use. I found the Siri to be nothing more than a glorified back massager, that gives you some degree of stronger power that most traditional vibrators, but not as good as the Hitachi. If the Hitachi is too strong for you, I would buy the Siri because it has many more speeds. I would also buy the Siri if you don't like the bulkiness of the Hitachi Magic Wand. I will just say that if I knew what I know now before I bought the Siri, I wouldn't have bought it.

I needed something a little stronger than the Lelo Lily, and so far this thing has been great! It's shape and size makes it much more maneuverable than the Lily, too! It's about the same volume as the Lily, but much stronger, I've found.

the siri is great.

if you're slightly embarrassed about phallic-shaped pleasure objects then i highly recommend this little guy. cute, discreet and unintimidating (especially if this will be your first time using a vibrator or you're just introducing your partner to one).

i'm not too sure why everyone is saying this thing has no power...not to get too detailed, but i can finish in less than thirty seconds with this guy on the highest setting! siri is not meant to go inside of you (although i'm sure you could try to push him up there), but to massage your clitoris. the only reason why i can think this would be not powerful enough is if you've only ever masturbated with a (strong) vibrator and only climax with one, too. if that sounds like your situation, then i guess you should go for something stronger. but, if you're able to climax by yourself (with your hands) or with your partners hands, or from oral or from just sex itself then i'd highly recommend the siri. :)

like don't get me wrong, it's not like i can finish super easily, but this thing has seriously taken the work out of it. and if you've ever had to give up because your climax just wasn't going to happen, then DEFINITELY think about the siri!

i have to say that i have only charged the siri ONCE. it came fully charged. weekly sessions (some 30 mins or longer, some less than a minute) and i still had batteries in early october 2012 (i bought the siri in late may 2012). i had to leave the siri on full blast to deplete it's batteries for 2+ hours because i wanted him to be fully charged for when i visited my boyfriend. the siri charged super fast (i'm not even sure how long i checked back 24 hrs later and it was already done), and didn't die at all when i was on my trip.

i love the multiple settings (i think it has five) and the different strengths of vibrations. for instance, you can leave it on the first setting (which is just a straight buzzzzzzz), and then crank it up to the point that it sounds like an epilator!! so the siri can be quiet, but it can also get some SERIOUS power going. the reason why i love the last setting is because it has all these crazy buzz thingies that go in a pattern it's the one i go to when i want to finish in less than 30 seconds!! :p it has one where it goes "zzzz......zzzzzz.....zzzz....zzzzz" and you can change the strength to make it more or less powerful.

ummm, i love that it has a lock feature so it won't turn on randomly in your purse or if you're traveling. i easily got through the airport with the siri and i love that it came with a cute satin carry pouch to store it in.

not enough good things can be said about the siri. highly recommended. :)

Miracle Care Miracle Care Pain Relief Lotion, 4-Ounce

This is supposed to have some bitter tasting element in it but it can't be that bad because it didn't keep my dog from licking himself. My hope for this product was to help deter his licking and biting during his rough allergy seasons. Maybe if your dog doesn't have any other issues this might help, but like I said it didn't stop him from licking himself.

He has all year long allergies and sometimes the prednisone RX from the vet and the additional items I give him aren't enough to keep him from licking or biting.

I am a make-up artist and currently am going to school for Dermatology. I have skin that is dry, ashy, blotchy, and sometimes itchy too. I purchased the moisturizer blindly, without reading any product reviews...Decided i'd give it a week on my face as both my day and night cream. Ok laides, pay attention...THIS PRODUCT BLEW ME AWAY!!! The creamy texture of it is well balanced, never heavy, greasy, or oily. I apply it all over my face AND neck. Just enough to get a good even coat (ie: 5 dots of it. One for each cheek, one on my forehead, one on my chin, and then one more for my neck). My skin is moist like i've never felt before, supple and "dewy". It has a mild fresh lemmon scent, which is refreshing and disapates after a few minutes. For the last month my skin has been bright, firm, and has had this youthful glow. Even my Fianc'e has noticed my skin looking younger. He likes the smell, says it's pleasant, smells clean and refreshing. The moisture this cream packs is seriously amazing, my skin stays perfectly moist all day long. It's almost winter and for years now i've had a hard time with maintaining that moisture in my skin. With this product my search is over. I think the price point of this product is reasonable too, considering i've paid almost $40 for some name brand creams and was disappointed time after time.

I was hooked on the Eclos line after trying their skin prep cleanser; the products ended up being on a super-mega sale a couple of weeks later-so I took it as a sign of good luck and bought the rest of the items.

Adventure Medical Kits Oral Rehydration Salts

This is the older formula that the World Health replaced with a lower osmolarity version over a decade ago. You can buy the newer packets anywhere around the world for less than $.50, but apparently not in the US. Neither formula is flavored, so kids resist drinking, but the newer formula is a bit more tolerable. The product is for treating dehydration (such as due to diarrhea and vomiting, and maybe copious sweating); it has nothing to do with water purification -in case the tags suggest otherwise.

Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) by Adventure Medical Kits is used for severe dehydration due to diarrhea, vomiting, and/or excessive sweat loss. Being that I live in the desert and do a lot of hiking and camping I carry oral rehydration salts due to the possibility of excessive sweat loss or vomiting from heat exhaustion. It is also a good addition to your emergency first aid kit if your vehicle breaks down in a remote area and there is no shade or protection from the sun. Athletes such as marathoners, ultra runners, and endurance athletes can also benefit from oral rehydration salts. ORS contain important electrolytes to enhance the body's ability to quickly absorb fluids. ORS is a good electrolyte replacement drink to prevent or treat dehydration, hyponatremia (water intoxication), heat illness (nausea, vomiting), and muscle cramping.

Use ORS for recovery from heat illnesses and/or diarrhea:

1. Add the entire contents of one powder packet to enough drinking water to make one quart (32 ounces) of solution

2. Shake the container until all the powder is dissolved

3. Drink one liter ORS over four hours

4. Do not add more water to the solution after it is mixed

5. Do not boil the solution

6. Make and use a fresh solution each day

Excessive water intake without proper electrolyte intake can lead to hyponatremia which refers to a lower than normal level of sodium in the blood. Hyponatremia is sometimes referred to as "water intoxication," especially when it is due to the consumption of excess water, for example during strenuous exercise, without adequate replacement of sodium. Hyponatremia can also result when sodium is lost from the body or when both sodium and fluids are lost from the body during prolonged sweating and severe vomiting or diarrhea. The proper use of Oral Rehydration Salts can prevent hyponatremia which can lead to death.

These Oral Rehydration Salts contain the original oral rehydration mix created by the World Health Organization (WHO) to combat severe diarrhea from cholera. There is now a reduced-osmolarity formulation available but according to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in 2004 in an article titled, "Clinical Concerns About Reduced-Osmolarity Oral Rehydration Solution" it states:

"the reduced-osmolarity formulation is particularly unsuitable for universal use because it contains an amount of sodium insufficient to maintain sodium balance in cholera patients, in whom its use induces negative sodium balance and may lead to hyponatremia,..."

While some people see a controversy between the original formulation and the reduced-osmolarity formulation I am confident in this original formulation (although I would not be using it as a result of cholera). Whether your severe dehydration is due to a heat related illness or diarrhea due to drinking unsafe water with bacteria or a virus it is always a good policy to get examined by a qualified health care provider for an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.

Pedialyte and store knockoffs have too low sodium and too high osmolarity, and kids hate the taste. Have bought One Touch strips from Amazon suppliers before and have been very satisfied, but this last purchase from Deep Discount Center arrived with one container open and contaminated. The rest of the containers were almost expired. They will be expired before I can use them. I won't purchase from this supplier again.

I hesitated to give these a lowered rating, but feel that this is an issue that purchasers should be aware of.

i purchased these strips one time before and was pleased with the results but the expiration dates were about a year away but this time when i purchased these strips i received a letter that stated the expiration date was about three months away and that was the reason i was getting a discount rate on this purchase. i knew this possibility existed from reading past reviews that is why i purchased such a limited quantity but the letter made it seem like i should expect nearly expired test strips in the future. with that being said my results seem to be about 20 point higher on this batch of strips so now im going to my local store to buy strips to make sure these strips are accurate. i leave it up to you guys to decide for yourself i saw reviews similiar to this when i purchased mine and decided to proceed. if my new strips bring the results im looking for i believe i will move on from these strips.

I have an English Shepherd whose paws bleed and crack in the winter. Snow gets caught in the hair between his paw pads and forms into balls of ice. He eventually can't walk and when he rips the ice out, it usually has blood in it. :0(

I bought Musher's Secret on Amazon and have been waiting for it to arrive. In the meantime, I went to my local Petco and got this product, not expecting too much.

It is made with lanolin, so it is rather oily. The wax melts right away in your hands and is easy to apply to the paws. My dog did not seem bothered by my applying it to his paws.

I applied it right before we went to the dog park after our Chicago blizzard. When he went into the deep snow, he did not pick up his paws from the cold as he had earlier that day. He did get ice between his toes, just as much as before, but the difference was that I could slide the ice pellets right off the fur without ripping the fur out, hurting him, or without having to melt it. To me, this was a huge improvement. We had to stop about 10 times in 50 minutes worth of time, but at least there was no pain involved. Also, when we got into the car, he quickly removed by himself what was left of the ice.

After just one use, his paw pads are smoother and the cracks looks far less painful. I can only imagine how much better they will be after several uses.

I am happy to say this works fairly well for a winter situation. It seems to protect a bit from the cold, makes paw pads smoother, and keeps the ice from becoming dangerously embedded in between the foot pads. It only loses a star for not protecting a bit more against the ice, but really, it's a very useful product nonetheless.

The product works really great, I actually got this for my dog who has been licking her paws raw, they were all red and raw and it has made such a difference in one week, her paws actually went back to her normal pink color!

I like to pamper my dog and be 100% ready for anything that my happen and when i went on a camping trip where we be walking on rocks, sand and dirt for a long time I wanted to make sure I had something incase my dogs paws became sore since he is a small poodle mix and mostly stays indoors. My dog loves to run and skid to a stop for a ball in the dog park. I noticed he was limping a little and when I looked his paws were cracked everywhere! I got this balm and the next day, no limping. I am involved in greyhound rescue. We have a 17 month old male grey (Crazy Two Toes)who was trampled by the pack during a training race and sustained a severely fractured leg. I ordered some other items from amazon recently including a bread knife, a pole chain saw, some scissors and a box of used razor blades. I'll probably cut myself again soon and will update this review.

I was disappointed when I discovered that J&J had discontinued their First Aid Cream. but apparently it was picked up by Ambix Labs.

it is almost identical to the J&J First Aid Cream. maybe a little more creamy, but otherwise identical non-greasy first aid cream.

I ordered a dozen and am very happy with this product.

I used the Johnson's first aid cream for years for everything from poison ivy to burns to scrapes, etc. This is not at all the same, because Johnson's had a beeswax base, and eventually had a synthetic beeswax base. It is markedly different than the petroleum base other companies are passing off as first aid cream. I am guessing that beeswax, natural and synthetic, is getting costly, and is now priced out of the market. I checked beeswax health products, and they are selling for about $10 to $20 and ounce, making a tube of Johnson's first aid cream of 1.5 ounces in the $20 a tube range, not including the other ingredients. This particular cream doesn't seem to have any of the necessary ingredients as far as I can tell, and does not work for the conditions I used the Johnsons for... that being said, I don't know if it will be effective beyond being a suitable substitute for the original, which is the only reason I bought it. If anyone comes across a brand with a beeswax base, please let us all know, but I don't expect one to come on the market because the cost will be too prohibitive, which is probably why Johnson discontinued it. For some reason, beeswax in combination with antiseptic and anasthetic ingredients, had peculiar healing properties the petroleum lacks. At least that is my experience, others may experience otherwise, judging from the other reviews.

I have been a fan of J&J First Aid Cream for 40 years, that is until they apparently discontinued what to me was a perfect product. There are certain kinds of abrasions and burns that it was perfect for. When I found out a few years ago that it was being discontinued, I bought a bunch, which has almost run out. Then the task was to find a replacement. The Ambix product is the closest thing I've found. They are not using all the "same" elemets (as can easily be seen on the ingredients), but it is pretty similar. It is definately less viscous, or more watery. But it is a pretty good replacement for the perfect product.

I LOVED J & J's First Aid Cream. Alas, they no longer produce it. This cream is the closest to it that I could find, after much local and online searching. What was better about the J & J cream was that it had NO odor at all and it was even more soothing and healing than this cream. I tried to contact J & J to ask that they produce their cream again, but couldn't get through the layers of bureaucracy to even express my request.
