2nd Skin 2nd Skin Moist Burn Pads 3 Inches X 4 Inches Large

I'm a runner and I originally started using this product on some blisters I got on my feet.

The pros: I've found that they heal the blisters (cuts) a few days quicker than if I had let them air dry. They also provided relief from pain when the blisters finally popped.

Since then I've used it on minor cuts/scrapes, wounds, minor burns and bug bites. It keeps the wound from becoming contaminated and because it's moist, it provides pain relief and facilitates a faster, wound healing than if you let the wound air dry. For the same reason, it also prevents/minimizes scar formation.

Using it is easy enough. The only thing you have to do is peel the blue backing and apply the wet side to the wound. It can also be cut to the desired size. The only "down" side to using this product is that you need to tape it in place, otherwise it will eventually fall off.

Overall a very good product.

These are bigger than any I have found in the store. I use them on my dog for skin issues, ok'd by our Vet. I highly recommend them.

I absolutely love burn pads. They are good for many injuries, not just burns. I had a horrible road rash from a fall and could not let anything touch it without severe pain. After a burn pad application I could wear pants again!! The only thing I don't like about these is that that do not have any adhesive around them. I had some in the past that were like bandaids with the gel in middle. I wish these had the adhesive.

I have used these burn pads for many years. Used to carry them as part of my bicycling first aid kit. Use them for scrapes, cuts, as well as burns. They will speed healing without scabs or scars and go a long way to reduce pain.

Gillette Fusion Power Cartridges

There have been a few reviews suggesting that these razors are not genuine because they were "repackaged."

Others have suggested these don't last as long as those great razors from Target.

Here's the real story:

The packaging you get in the department store is designed to be attractive and very hard to open. Because these razors are so high-priced, they would walk out the door frequently if they weren't secured in their package. Since Amazon ships these directly to you after you pay, there is no need for theft-resistant packaging. And since you've already bought the item, there is no need for overly attractive packaging either. The result is a plain white box that is easy to open and can be re-used for shipping or storing small items (an added bonus...as you certainly can't re-use the packaging from the store).

As far as longevity, I'm probably about as tough of a test case as you can imagine. I've got thick, stubborn hairs on my next that lay sideways and reverse direction in certain spots. Every time I shave these razors get a good workout. When a razor is too worn, it is a painful experience and leads to immense amounts of irritation. Needless to say, I notice pretty quickly when these get dull, and the razors from Gillette through Amazon take just as long to dull as do the razors from Gillette through the grocery store...this makes sense because they are THE SAME EXACT PRODUCT.

So, please disregard any reviews suggesting you pay twice as much for this product from Target or Walmart. This is the exact same product. And, if you will still be shaving in a few months, do yourself a favor an subscribe for additional savings.

I used the new extra expensive Gillette Pro Glide Power razors for first time from Amazon as the seller, hassle free packaging. Already from my first shave I can feel there is a difference between store bought and what amazon has. Amazon razor pulled and snagged my facial hair, and the blue conditioner strip was almost completely done after the first use. Store bought razors provides a smooth shave, and the conditioner strip last much longer than one use. Recently I became an amazon fanatic, buying almost everything from them, I am learning that not everything is what you expect. Also cost difference between Amazon and Store is about same, w/ Amazon being slightly more costly.

I have seen that about half praise these razors, and half find them unsatisfactory, so I felt I had to throw in my vote as well in order to possibly help someone making this purchase. I'm not sure if half of the people on here are unlucky with what they got, or what, but I definitely fall under the "unlucky" category. I've been using the fusion razor (mine is the buzzer one love it) for as long as they have been out. They would last a LONG time, up to 6-12 shaves depending on frequency and amount needed to be shaved. These last on average 2-3 shaves before they start becoming painful. I hadn't said anything so far, continuing to give them a chance, but today, I shaved and the blue bar that tells you to replace the razor is gone. One shave, and gone. Now, I know this isn't a magical indicator of some kind, but every other fusion blade I've used from the store has had the blue bar on there for about as long as the razor quality lasts. It has been a reliable indicator in the past. One shave! I'm very annoyed with these razors and finally had to say something. If you get a "good" batch, more power to you; but just know it's a bit of a gamble because many of us have not.

Maxpedition Individual First Aid Pouch . Foliage Green

My only complaint about this pouch design is that Maxpedition is calling this a First Aid Pouch they didn't provide any velcro locations to affix a med patch to it. The lack of a velcro location isn't a deal breaker, again it's just odd and the reason I only gave this 4 stars. I need silence when I sleep! Guess I owe this to my parents always making sure I had complete quiet as a baby. My husband snores but uses a CPAP but even the noise of that machine would keep me awake. These ear plugs are awesome for noise blocking. I take them with me on trips, even when I will be alone. After I sent a message to the retailer (Coast to Coast Safety) asking how to go about getting a refund because I felt the earplugs were faulty, I was promptly contacted by representatives from both Coast to Coast Safety and Moldex (the manufacturer). It was apparent that they were *very* concerned about the performance of their product considering that it is intended for protection.

Coast to Coast immediately pulled all inventory that came from the same batch as soon as I was able to furnish them with the lot number from my package.

After a few short phone calls with Moldex, they replaced my box of earplugs with one from a different lot. They had me return the box to their QC department and they paid for all shipping costs.

The second box of earplugs worked as advertised. I would purchase this product again and I wouldn't hesitate to order from Coast to Coast Safety nor Moldex.

The earplugs themselves are about 1/8" longer than Hearos, so have a better chance of sticking out a tiny bit from your ear. With that in mind, you might find Hearos more comfortable for sleeping or you can just remove the extra length with a quick swipe of some scissors.

I use ear plugs all of the time every night when sleeping to drown out city noises and occasionally when going out to night clubs to protect my hearing.

The ear plugs in the box I received barely block sound at all I can clearly hear most frequencies through them, such as the fan from my air cleaner. I tried a different pair of ear plugs that I have lying around just to make sure; those blocked out most frequencies and lowered the sound level just as I would expect from 33dB ear plugs.

I also noticed that the texture is different from other brands I've used in the past the outer part that seals the ear canal seems almost porous (though I'm not sure that this has anything to do with the poor performance of this product).

We bought this when our daughter was born after hearing lots of good things about the kit.

To break it down for you, here is what we have found in the last 5-1/2 months.

The clippers are great It would be better if they included the one with the LED light standard, but the regular ones work great, you just either need to do it when baby is sleeping, or with a helper.

The nail files are pretty much useless They are so thin and flimsy that after 5 minutes trying to file my daughter's nails at 3 days I gave up and clipped with the clippers.

We use the hairbrush every night to brush our daughter's hair after a bath just to get her used to the habit. Haven't used the comb or the cradle cap comb either. We have found that washing her hair at least every couple days and massaging her scalp during her nightly baths has kept cradle cap away.

The digial thermometor is good it can be used under the arm, or with a prob to be used rectally. We have only used it under her arm as we have a red cross temporal thermometor that works great and can be used while she is sleeping without waking. This is important if baby hasn't slept much due to fever.

The medicine "bottle" is a joke I use it to store small amount of breast milk for cereal. My daughter has had to have antibiotics once, and she gets tylenol regularly for teething pain we use the dosage things that came with the medications. This I could understand being useful if you have to give a few ML's of something when baby is 1 or 2, but it's completely useless for us.

The nasal aspirator is also a joke. The plastic part disonnects from the "bulb" almost every time we have tried to use it. My daughter was in day care at 8 weeks until just before Christmas, so she had her share of colds and needed a nasal aspirator frequently. This thing would come apart every time we tried to push the bulb in to get a good suction. My advise is throw it away and buy a "little Noses" stuffy nose kit with saline drops and a nasal aspirator. That one has worked wonders for us, along with an electronic one.

Toothbrush My daughter is 5-1/2 months and doesn't have any teeth We have this set aside for when she gets her first tooth, but let her play with it to "clean" her gums so she is used to it.

Alcahols swabs These are good to clean off the thermometor after each use.

I received this as a gift. I love the storage bag it comes with. And good to know I have all these items when they are needed. The nail clippers are so much better than the other 2 pairs of baby clippers I owned before getting this. They are easy to hold and use. I have used and like the hairbrush too. I haven't used the nose bulb yet because I already had one from the hospital. The medicine dispenser with the nipple looks like a good idea but haven't used it either yet because my baby doesn't like bottles yet and hasn't needed meds. I am glad it has a baby toothbrush that will come in handy later on. I am glad I received this item.

I have fought nose bleeds most of my life. I have semi-annual or more often trips to the ENT specialist for help. These are the best and most easy to use method of stopping a nose bleed. I carry one in my wallet and a couple in the car. Usually one will stop a fairly small episode and I have used two on occasion when the bleeding is more profuse. The only problem is finding them other than online. Most drug stores seem to not carry them or don't even know about them. When I was looking for some disposable syringes for 10 mL, I would either find them individually or in a pack of 100. I would have purchased about 20 or 30, not 100, but fewer wouldn't do. I like using these when administering meds to my toddler. I used to try to hide meds in her formula, apple sause, yogurt, or avocado, but she's completely onto me now. Daycare showed we a way to pin my 24 month old down on the floor and she is usually willing to swallow the meds, but the syringe needs to be used (don't call social services, after meds are administered my daughter sits up and goes on her merry way). I went on a trip and brought some childrens advil and allergy meds just in case we needed it. These syringes were great for when visiting family and friends and storing some pre-measured meds in the diaper bag "just in case." I wish they were individually wrapped syringes. I didn't have the caps with me on the trip, but I know to bring them next time, I'm sure the caps will come in handy. They have a plastic smell, assuming the smell doesn't leak into the meds. I should have enough syringes to last me several years of medince administration :-)

My "Wound Care" specialist recommended the 3M Micropore Tape for me since I am very sensitive to just about every other tape\adhesive that has been tried in the past. This has been a really good find as after two weeks of use I haven't had any reaction and my condition will likely require use of the tape for several more months.

The tape is strong and holds very well. I like that it is perforated and can be hand torn into convenient sizes at about 2" increments. Like all long term use tapes, it will leave some sticky adhesive residue on your skin when it is removed, but it is fairly easy to remove by gently rubbing the area with a warm dampened washcloth.

We also use Box of 4 3M Micropore Surgical Tape 3" x 10 yds White 3M 1535-03 as well, with the same great results!
