Medique 07333 Back Pain-Off Back Pain Relief Tablets, 100-Pack

Medique 07333 Back Pain-Off Back Pain Relief Tablets, 100-PackI read some of the glowing reviews and decided to give this stuff a try. Its just okay. I get more pain relief from Advil than this formula. Still searching for that magic pain relief for my aching back.

I first found out about these from my college trainer. He used to give them to me after practice and they always helped. I have 2 herniated disks in my back so to find an over-the-counter option that works so well for back pain is a huge blessing!

Got a sample of this from the nurse at work. It was the first OTC medication that actually took away the pain in my lower back. I tried to find this at the local big-box retailers to no avail. Finally found it here on Amazon. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with back pain.

I took a different product for knee pain--same drugs, but a different name. The other product was discontinued. After a long search I found this. I have had surgeries on both knees and have tried everything from injections to physical therapies. Nothing works as well for my pain as this product, even prescriptions that cost hundreds of dollars.

3M 3M Coban Self-Adherent Wrap 1 X 5 Yard Roll

COBAN SELF-ADHERENT WRAP, 1' X 5 YARD ROLLI ordered these to wrap a broken toe (I couldn't find any 1" wraps in stores because it's such a small size), and it has worked great! It sticks to itself well and lasts a long time.

Adventure Medical Kits Trauma Packwith QuikClot

Adventure Medical Kits Trauma Pack with QuikClotafter having this stuff in my bag for several months i can truly attest to the effectiveness of this stuff, my brother and i were hunting when he experienced a negligent discharge he shot himself in the leg with a 12 gauge shotgun at point blank range as soon as i heard his screams i knew what he had done, i rushed over to him and cut open his pants to see a larg two inch hole pouring blood out of his leg about 4 inches above knee on the inside , i immediately stuffed one quickclot bandage into the hole, cut his pants and tied them around his leg, i got him back to the truck and drove him an hour to the emergency room, hes ok now and its thanks to this wonderful product i keep it in all my rigs now. safety is everyone's business and me and my brother are both experienced hunters and marksmen, it didn't have to happen, but it did, one careless mistake almost ended his life. i never want have to use this stuff again but if necessary i am prepared

I used QuikClot on a gentleman who had been using aspirin and Plavix (anticlotting drugs). After a fall, his abrasions wouldn't quit oozing through the first bandages. The QuikClot stopped it right away, but I had to fumble around to gather gloves, bandages, etc. This kit is a great disposable solution to quickly deal with a bleeder. I got one for each car.

This is a great little pack that fits in a pocket, small bag or purse. For what it is and my purposes it should work very well. I do not view this as a comprehensive FAK or BOK, just a nice convenient in between to help stabilize a serious injury for more appropriate assessment and treatment.

I ordered two Trauma Paks with QuikClot. The actual shelf-life of QuikClot is supposed to be three years. The two packages I received had an expiration date of about a year and a half from the time I received them. Not a huge issue, but I certainly would have liked to have received something a little "fresher".

I wanted to beef up my car first aid kit and think that this is a good addition. I also added an Israeli battle dressing after reading the positive reviews for it. I would be interested in knowing what items an EMT, paramedic or ER doctor would recommend for a good first aid kit, especially for disaster situations when the professionals won't be able to come right away.

Pornography Addiction Recovery Kit - Bundle - 2 Items: Addiction Buster Craving Aid and Addiction B

Pornography Addiction Recovery Kit - Bundle - 2 Items: Addiction Buster Craving Aid and Addiction Buster #2 - Natural Herbal Alternative Pornography Addiction Treatment for Addiction to Pornography and Other Sexual AddictionsI never knew that I would have a problem stopping pornography until I tried to do it. How silly this seemed. I guess I now believe this may be some kind of addiction or something. This is why I decided to try and stop the porn with some help from a doctor. I havebeen on these porn recovery pills for over five weeks and I am pleased to say that my problem is much better. I found that maybe I would get into porn out of boredom or something like that because I did not want to keep doing this and it seemed I could not stop. I would go a few days then I was back at the computer at it again. I finally gave up and looked for some kind of help for this problem. That is when I found this product on Amazon and decided that I should give it a try. I guess I knew I needed something to help andthis product has helped me. I can't be sure but I do not have the desire to get back into looking at porn like I have had in the past. It's hard to say, but that urge is simply not there. I can not say that these urges will not come back but up to know they have not been like they were. I guess I would have to say these pills have helped me with my habit. I am glad that I could do something.

DixiGear Empty First Responder II Bag - Orange

DixiGear Empty First Responder II Bag - OrangeI use this bag for the first aiid kit I keep iin my SUV. I am a first aid & CPR instructor and a Boy Scout adult volunteer, so I have a pretty extesive first aid kit. This bag is a great size -not too big but big enough to hold what I need. It is well made and has good compartmentation. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the foam insert for the center compartment is useless. It doesn't fit right and doesn't hold its shape. I just took it out.

This bag was larger than I thought. It has enough room to put your supplies and then a little more.

I was able to get the basics for first aid as well as a wrist splint and an instant ice pack.

This works well.

Mueller Blister Kit, 24 count

Mueller Blister Kit, 24 counta lot of products for blisters are meant to be used before the blister actually pops up, but these are great for blisters that are already there. There are multiple pieces to use, depending on the type of blister, but the best part is the gel-squares that are about 1/8" thick that you can put over the blister not only to keep it moist, but to protect it. There a little covers (tape) that go over the gel squares that work quite well to hold them in place. The only downfall (and it is very slight) is that the covers are not large enough to cover the squares unless you get them lined up *exactly* which can be hard to do on your own feet. Bt far this is the best blister treatment I have ever used!

A perfectaddition to a first aid kit & definately for the car's first aid kit. We go hiking on the whim, so keeping these in our van's er bag has worked out well. I like the different sizes & so far, my only wish is that more bigger pads also came.

PhysiciansCare Soft Sided First Aid Kit

PhysiciansCare Soft-Sided First Aid Kit for up to 10 People, Contains 95 PiecesCustomer review from the Amazon Vine Program Who packed this thing? The mayor of Munchkinland? A 95-piece emergency set sounds pretty good, until you realize all the pieces are miniatures. The package says it is designed to treat minor scrapes and burns. Minor? Try microscopic.

You get 50 bandages, half of which are about 3/4 of an inch wide and maybe 3 inches long. That's one long narrow abrasion...you'd need 3 or 4 for a small child's skinned knee. I needed two for a knuckle I scraped (and not by dragging it on the ground so don't even go there).

The other half are "junior" sized, which means we can finally open up an Urgent Care For Hummingbirds faciilty. There is one "extra large" bandage, which might just cover that little toddler's knee, and 4 gauze pads that measure about 2"x2". They're not going to stop the bleeding from a papercut.

A couple of tongue depressors are designated as "finger splints." That sounds much trendier and way more professional than what they really are--especially since spontaneous tonsil combustion was cured in the 60s. You get ten of those, so go ahead, live it up and break the whole hand. You're covered. There are also 10 alcohol pads that are so small, I had to put my reading glasses on to find them, and 2 Sting Relief Wipes, which are perfect if you happen to be stung by the Barney Fife of bees.

Bottom line: In case of a major accident and disaster, if this is all you have, don't expect to find yourself on the nightly news saying "I just did what anyone would do..." I gave the kit one star because the items included are of good quality, albeit ridiculously small; one star because it does not technically mislead about the sizes (they are clearly there, on the bottom of the box where no one ever looks); and one star for the case alone which is about 4"x4", small enough to tuck into the glove compartment of the car or keep in a purse. There's enough room inside to add a some full-size first aid items and make the kit worthwhile.

This kit has everything your probably ever need and more. I am a health and fitness student and this kit was a requirement and I see exactly why. This hit has all the tools your need should something happen and you need to help someone who gets injured. As a healthcare professional I would highly recommend this kit for your home, office, school or even your car. The price is unbeatable as well and what is very nice is the kit is very small and easy to store. It is folded and has six pockets with everything nicely organized and labeled.

The only two cons I have with this product are the scissors and plastic tweezers. I would replace both items. The scissors are not designed to cut fast in an emergency and the plastic tweezers are not going to do much if someone gets a wood splinter in their finger. You can get a good pair of pointy metal tweezers at Walmart for less than $3 bucks.

They do not have what is in the box so I have included it. This is for the 404 count package.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is essentially a box of band-aids in a soft sided zipper pouch. It also contains 1 application of "burn cream", 1 application of antiseptic, several alcohol wipes and a couple of "sting relief pads". That is okay as far as it goes, but if this first aid kit is supposed to serve 10 people, the supplies are inadequate.

There is also a set of latex gloves, a bundle of tongue depressors that are labeled "finger splints", a small roll of tape and a couple of gauze pads. There are some cotton swabs on sticks--but nothing to swab. I don't really see the need for finger splints--serious hand injuries should be iced down to minimize swelling and taping on finger splints could be hazardous.

Everything here is shoved into the two pockets of the pouch, making for difficult access to the antibiotic, etc.

The idea is that one buys the kit, registers it and then gets reminder notices about replenishing it. The stuff here is not of high quality.

For an ordinary first aid kit, I recommend: sunscreen and insect repellent because a little prevention is worth a pound of cure. One should have band-aids, a tube of triple antibiotic cream, a bottle of alcohol, moist wipes. Instead of tongue depressors, I'd recommend tweezers for removing splinters. I carry a tube of After-Bite for dealing with insect stings and bites. If you are allergic, carry the recommended remedies. If you're going camping or fishing or some other outdoorsy activity, a spare cooler of ice is a first aide item. Ice can be used to treat wounds, bruises or sprains until the injured person can get to the emergency room or the urgent care clinic.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a nylon zippered case with clear vinyl pockets inside, about 4x6 inches. It has "95 pieces" but careful review shows that more than 50 of these pieces are off-brand bandaids--half "junior" sized. You get ten "finger splints"--which are wooden tongue depressors--and how many finger splints is anyone likely to use unless playing Chicago-style softball without a glove? A pair of gloves (latex) is two more pieces, 10 alcohol wipes, like you could swipe from your doctor's office--and why would you need them if you weren't injecting anything? Experts advise against using alcohol on wounds, because it damages tissue and kills good bacteria. My favorite "piece" is the registration card--seriously? You do get single use packets --one each, of antibiotic ointment and "burn cream"--a topical anesthetic and 2 (2!) Sting relief wipes--also topical anesthetic. 4 gauze pads, 5 yds of first aid tape and ten single-ended wooden-stick swabs (why--you only get two applications of cream total?).

I'd get a zip-seal plastic bag, put some good quality bandaids, some topical anesthetic cream, some diphenhydramine (Benadryl) pills, some Immodium, some acetaminophen (Tylenol) and be done with it...but if someone gave you this, you could refill it with more useful items.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is almost funny when you open it, yet not so funny if you really injured yourself and needed a good first aid kit. I'm still laughing about the 10 tongue depressors which would be great if each of the ten people this is rated for each broke one finger. Too bad only three of them would have enough tape to splint their broken fingers. The quality is the cheapest available from the crappy little zippered case to the plastic non breathable bandages. Over a quarter of this kit (25pieces) are the teeny little useless size bandages, the ones you never use because they barely cover a pimple. Only one of the large bandages is included, the ones you always need. I can just see falling off the bike and pulling this out looking for a bandage for my bloody knees. So glad at least one of my knees will be covered guess I could use the 25 little ones to hold the 2 tiny gauze pads on the other knee. Seriously, spend 10.00 more and get a hard case type real First Aid kit that actually exceeds ANSI standards. If you need a more compact version take out of it what you need and put it in a zip bag. This is just silly!

BACITRACIN-ZINC OINTMENT *FOU Size: 1 OZThis product works well on cuts and open scores. Heals them quickly. I received the item on time and as promised. I gave this item five stars because I think it is great.

Warning: Amazon Marketplace listing is VERY misleading: Sept. 2010 it states "Price: $3.80 ($0.79/oz)" and "Item Weight: 4.8 ounces, Shipping Weight: 6.4 ounces", indicates the tube is 4.8oz "item weight" same as math $3.8/0.79oz=4.8oz. The image it low resolution so can not zoom in to see it clearly. I bought 4 tubes from "NY Health Beauty" ($6.12 each including SH), but sadly got four 1.0oz tubes! IF you order assume you will get 1oz tubes, especially if ordering from NY Health Beauty, verses the incorrect ad info of >4.oz per tube. Several vendor choices are listed, am not sure how to spread the blame on Amazon verses the vendors.

PS Since I need more oz, I will try another place like wheelchairselect.com listing: Dynarex Bacitracin Zinc Ointment 15oz for 4.99+$5.95 SH, or just buy it locally.

These straps work great at holding the dressing on over her wound and keeping it in place. I keep them on mom for 1 week and they could even stay on longer if not soiled. I just choose to change them weekly. I wish this product came with skinny gauze to use for the lace. I had to find something on my own to use. Would be convenient if the strap (lace) was provided. No local medical supply places carried this item and some never even heard of Montgomery Straps. Great invention that is decades old!

Adventure Medical Kits Dental Medic Kit

Adventure Medical Kits Dental Medic KitNobody has to be told how much a toothache can hurt. I have had toothaches before that have throbbed so heavily that I would have gladly traded it for a shotgun blast to a limb anytime. Toothaches inflict us for different reasons. Sometimes its a tooth that we know was giving us trouble for quite a while, and now it has decided to gain our attention with a vengeance. Other times its a filling that falls out where the nerve can possibly be exposed, a loose crown or bridge, or even a broken tooth after an accident. Anyone that has had any of these unfortunate events befall them know how extremely painful it can sometimes be. And, we all know how our dentist just seems to feel a disturbance in the force beforehand, and be off somewhere on a beach enjoying lobster and cracked crab just when we need them most. We could very well end up being at the mercy of trusting some unknown prospector with a dental pic, and at the very least being in the hole for a whole lot of hard earned cash.

The Adventure Medical Dental Kit is something I have had along in my car on every vacation, and in my backpack on every wilderness excursion for years now. And on a hike in 2006, I actually ended up needing it. A fresh filling from a couple of months before suddenly took a notion to come tumbling out, and in just a few minutes I was feeling the aching that was sure to turn into agony eventually. (I had waited for some time before going to the dentist, and the hole he drilled rivaled the grand canyon). I was at least 2 hours away from an established trail, and in another state in any event upon my arrival back in civilization. This kit contained all that I needed to set a good solid temporary filling that along with some oil of clove that is also included in the kit, eventually quelled the pain entirely. I decided to trust it and not cut my hike short. I never felt a thing for the entire rest of the trip, or on the way home.

The Dental Medic Kit contains materials for temporary fillings, pain tincture, cement for loose crowns, and even material for temporary bridge repair. Just try to imagine being far away from home or civilization for any given reason and having such a painful emergency arise. This kit is a must carry along for any excursion that takes you beyond your city limits in my opinion. It is very reasonably priced, easy to use, and has very clear instructions. And, it is also something that is very hard to find anywhere but online. I advise you to pick it up here on Amazon. And one last thing. Despite the other reviewer here that made it a direct point in making us all aware that this kit is for temporary repair only, my own personal experience was that there was definitely no big rush. I ended up keeping my temp repair for almost 2 months before I finally got around to getting it professionally repaired. (I had to locate another dentist that filled teeth that actually stay filled). The kit itself makes it perfectly clear that all its repairs are for emergencies, and on a temporary basis. They are certainly not going to be so stupid as to tell you that "the repair is cool, so don't knock yourself out". "Whenever you get around to it". The real truth as to its being transitory lies somewhere between racing off to the dentist like a maniac, and moseying on over there 6 months later, or if an when you ever think of it. Most repairs done with this kit will last for quite a reasonable amount of time. (Unless its strictly an aching tooth from decay. All this kit will offer then is pain killer, that will eventually get overwhelmed, and so will you. Get to a dentist). If you end up having to use this kit for any other reason, relax, it makes a very good temporary repair. Don't venture far from home without it. Highly recommended...

This kit includes some very poorly written instructions on a small piece of paper. Not really an instruction manual. It includes mainly common items you already havetoothpicks, cotton balls, dental floss. I needed the kit for the first time since I bought it (one year ago) today when a filling came out. The one item that I had thought would be useful, the tube of temporary filling repair, turned out to be all dried out and so I could not use it. If something you keep on hand for emergencies does not even last for a year, I have a problem with it. It was not in a hot car, it was in our medicine cabinet. So I am back on Amazon looking for something better, and while I was here I decided to review this kit.

Important I think to have a dental as well as a medical kit around the house and certainly while traveling.

This is a solid basic dental kit. However, like me you may want to add some items to the kit like a mask, nitrate gloves, dental mirror and maybe a hemostat.

If you want to go beyond this basic kit check out Chinook Medical, whom I highly recommend, on the web as they offer some good alternatives at slightly more cost.

Seller communication was great and delivery quick. This is the most complete dental first aid kit I've seen/bought. Includes Pain killer, temporary filling, cotton wads, dental floss and instructions of course.

Want Adventure Medical Kits Dental Medic Kit Discount?

This kit has all the basics to temporarily restore a lost dental filling. Specifically, the kit contains detailed instructions for what to do if you lose a filling, lose a tooth, or have other dental/oral emergencies. The list of ingredients are as follows: 5 Cotton Pellets, 5 Cotton Rolls, Dental Floss, Dental Medic Instructions, Tea Bag, 100% Natural Pekoe Tea, Temporary Cavity Filling Mixture, 3 Tooth Picks, and 1 Wax Rope. The medication inside is 2 Anbesol/Orasol, consisting of Benzocaine 20%.

The kit is designed for TEMPORARY relief of pain associated with a dental/oral injury or mishap. The kits is designed for those who will not be able to access dental care for a short period of time.

The kit is lacking in one key ingredient; ideally, it should have a (liquid) medium to store a dislocated tooth in while travelling to a dental office for reimplantation. In a pinch, milk will suffice.

Dental fillings can be lost for several reasons: decay, fracture, or a faulty filling. It is important to realize that this is a temporary fix and not meant to last weeks or months. If your tooth has decay in it, the decay will continue to progress despite the temporary. Get to a dentist and have the tooth repaired professionally.

Wahl Trimmer All-In-One Lithium Ion

Wahl 9854-600 Lithium Ion All In One TrimmerCustomer review from the Amazon Vine Program (3.5 stars) The Wahl Lithium Ion All-In-One Trimmer definitely delivers on its promise of power. You feel it the instant you turn it on that is one powerful motor inside its small, lightweight case. This provides a lot of cutting torque for comfortable, clean trimming of beards, mustaches and body hair. However, the power comes with downsides in terms of vibration and noise as well. And while the set is packaged with numerous attachments, not all of them are very useful. Finally, the included organizer tray is a cheap-looking and doesn't hold all of these attachments very well.

If you plan on using it purely for beard/mustache, body hair, and the occasional touch-up of sideburns and neckline between trips to the barber, then this trimmer is probably a 4.5 star performer. It's powerful enough to handle the thickest beard and won't get clogged up by any amount of body hair (a blade comb and small bottle of oil are included for ongoing maintenance). This power comes at a cost in vibration and noise, and some may find it uncomfortable to use for long periods of time.

The attachment for eyebrows, nose and ear hair is useless for different reasons. For eyebrows, it has no comb attachment and its built-in guide is much too short unless you simply want to totally eradicate your eyebrows from your face. I found a suitable workaround for eyebrows by using the main blade with the shortest guide attachment and then carefully (CAREFULLY) gliding over my brows. The results ended up being very nice, but you're just one sleepy morning away from a disaster. For nose and ears, the vibration is simply too much to bear. Plus, the attachment isn't shaped at all for this function it's simply a narrower version of the main blade. This means that (1) there's no easy way to work around the curves of your nostrils or ears and (2) the cutting surface is still the tip of the blade instead of the sides, so you'll be working the trimmer at all sorts of odd angles to get any results at all. I recommend a good nose/ear trimmer that's designed exclusively for that purpose instead.

The surprise was the dual foil shaver head. I expected this to be a total throw-away, but it delivered a very close and surprisingly comfortable shave. It suffers in the ergonomics because its handle is shaped like a trimmer instead of an electric shaver (it feels like you're shaving with a small flashlight), but that's a small downside. Will I throw away my electric shaver now? No, but I would give some thought to throwing this in my overnight bag for travel due to its small size and additional versatility.

Switching blade heads between the main, the wider, the ear/nose/eyebrow, and the shaver feels clunky. The instructions are vague on this point (as they are with almost all aspects of using the trimmer) and I eventually figured it out by trial and error. Still, it often feels like I'm forcing the parts whenever switching blades, which is disappointing given the otherwise sold build of the trimmer.

Battery life is excellent and you can even run it on a quick charge after only a few minutes of being plugged in. The included power adapter is nicely compact, which is becoming rarer for many countertop electronics. The trimmer unfortunately doesn't have any sort of battery gauge, but the quick-charge feature minimizes that limitation.

The included tray seems to be too small to neatly hold all of the attachments that come with the set. Plus, it's very cheap-looking. I ended up storing everything in a carrying pouch that I had from an old electric shaver. All told, the entire kit could fit in anything roughly the size of a sandwich bag.

PROS

* Powerful motor for clean, effortless maintenance of bears, mustaches and body hair

* Long battery life

* A surprisingly good foil shaver attachment that could get some use while traveling

CONS

* Vibration and noise from the motor makes prolonged use uncomfortable

* Not as useful as a nose, ear or eyebrow trimmer

* Accessory quality isn't always up to par with the trimmer itself

CONCLUSION

While the Wahl Lithium Ion All-In-One Trimmer is a magnificent trimmer small and lightweight but massively powerful. However, its "all-in-one" claim is made based on attachments that often fall short of the mark. Honestly, there probably is no true "all-in-one" solution, so fault them with overreaching marketing instead of bad design. Grab one of these for the big jobs and a good dedicated ear/nose/brow trimmer for the small ones and you'll be all set.

First off... People, be aware of "Vine Program" reviewers. Keep in mind that these people did not pay for the item and did not actively go out and search for the product they now own. I, on the other hand, was actually looking for this here electric "clipper".

One PRO:

1 At first I was glad to see that WAHL had finally designed a shaver with a lithium battery because the nickel-cadium battiers in their other units die out way too fast. As it turns out, the battery was the only positive thing about this trimmer. I only needed to charge it fully once and it would last for approx 6 shaves.

Many CONS:

1 Rubber material covering body of unit grips TOO much. Little pieces of cut hairs will stick to it like glue! Within a week it mine was covered in little hairs. Messy.

2 The metal blades rust easily even though they were never exposed to water, only to sweat. I have never had this problem with other Wahl trimmers before.

3 This thing is loud when it's new and getts louder as it ages. After 7 months mine stopped cutting well and sounded like a mini chain saw.

4 Short life span 7 months. Only used it 3 times a week, face only, and oiled it once a week.

Thank you for your time.

Standard Wahl narrow blade head good for precise trims

Cons

Too many accessories! A better design could keep it more simple

Standard Wahl narrow blade head not as good for faster trims

I've owned a half a dozen rechargeable trimmers, most of them for beards, and I have to say that I've never been that impressed regardless of the brand name. I can't seem to find one that's both simple and powerful.

The Wahl Lithium Ion All In One is probably the most powerful rechargeables I've ever used. I tried a number of current Norelco models and they're frequently on the wimpy side. One was so weak that it would pull hair right out of my face instead of cutting it. This Wahl model is on the other extreme. Just trimmed my heard and cut my lip a little bit on the blades. Probably only the second time that's ever happened with a trimmer. Will need to be careful in the future, but thankful because the obvious power means a faster trim and no fear of pulled hair.

My two gripes about the Wahl are the same I've had about the previous Wahl trimmers I've used.

One, unlike Norelco which frequently designs built in adjustable heads that go up and down, they offer a ton of accessories. This kit has something like 17. I don't need 17! I'm betting most men don't either. Some of these are going to get lost or inconveniently separated from the trimmer. Just give me a removable adjustable height head and that's all I need. That function itself can equal half a dozen or more attachments.

My second complaint is also the same I've had about all Wahl trimmers the head width. It's about 1/4" or so more narrow than Norelco models. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Wahl trimmers are best for getting around the edges where accuracy is needed. The wide head Norelcos are for when you want to trim your beard as fast as possible with a wider blade IF they offered a model with as strong a motor as the Wahl that is.

I'm no fan of Norelco have sworn them off after experiencing too many wimpy motors. I really like the power of this Wahl. I just wish they'd borrow a little bit from Norelco. The narrow head has its use, but enough with the dozen+ accessories.

For this price range this probably one of the best trimmers I've used even with my complaints. And if you happen to like having all sorts of accessories then this might be perfect for you.

This product has a fatal flaw; the trimmer's internals can't handle the torque of the motor and fail within days. Basically the springs that return the blades to their original position during trimming snap off and render the unit useless. It buzzes erratically and that's that.

I purchased my first unit in september and it last for 3 days before the springs snap. My second unit was shipped to me, which then lasted me 2 weeks before the same failure occurred. THe problem is NOT user induced, the trimmer could be left on on a table for 10 minutes a day and the same would occur within a few days.

On a positive note, it trimmed really well while it worked. Battery lasted far longer than anything I've used and it had plenty of power. It's a real shame because i was staring to love this thing.

Dont buy it, try something else or suffer the same result in a few days.

Worked well for 10-months of very light duty trimming a goatee and sideburns and being kept clean and oiled up. Today it failed to turn on after being plugged to charge. Took the head off and inspected inside, very clean and the unit looks brand spanking new. Wahl doesn't have good customer service or warranty return service and their web site support is a joke. So it is up to me to deal with the repair.

I tested the charger and it is producing a steady 4.30 V. I disassembled the unit by pulling back the rubber cover down and splitting the plastic case open to expose the motor, battery and electronics. There was corrosion and a layer of green on the integrated circuit leads due to ambient moisture in the bathroom. Cleaned it off with vinegar and distilled water and checked the leads and the unit worked again. The internal battery is an industrial a 3.7V 750 mAh 2.3 wh AA Lithium Ion and it was 3.95 V showing a full charge. I will re-solder the weakened and corroded leads and put a waterproof layer of conformal coating on all the exposed leads and chips.

I suspect that Wahl knows about ambient moisture damaging and destroying the products and they refuse to cover the electronics with moisture resistant conformal coating used as an inexpensive and standard way in the electronics industry to ensure a steady stream of failures and re-purchases by customers.

My advice is open the unit up and waterproof the electronics by covering the leads and chips with a liquid or spray-on conformal coating. If you're not mechanical enough to do that, I suggest go buy another product and hope for the best.
