Zim's Crack Creme, Creamy Daytime Formula

Zim's Crack Creme Creamy Daytime Formula, 2.7 Fluid Ounce TubeZim's Crack Creme is the BEST cure we have ever found for cracked fingers or feet. Love that non-greasy formula and it absorbs very quickly. We live on a ranch and do lots of outdoor work. Every winter we have had problems with our hands cracking and bleeding due to exposure and repeated washing and drying. Gloves help of course, but this cream is the only cure we have found the heals those painful, bleeding cracks FAST. Works great on cracked heels too! It does sting a bit the first day on application, but the small cuts heal so quickly that is of no consequence. So cowboy up and use this cream! Soon you will be recommending it to all your friends!

Creamy Daytime Formula by Zim's Crack Creme is a sensational product. To be honest, I don't use a hand cream regularly (lack of discipline), and in the winter, my hands become dry and cracked, primarily because I wash my hands a lot. Several winters ago, my hands were in particularly bad shape, dry, cracked and bleeding. Quite painful, in fact. After hearing a Zim's commercial on radio, I purchased a tube of Creamy Daytime Formula. Immediately upon applying Zim's, all pain and discomfort disappeared. I continued applying it several times a day, and within about 48 hours, my hands were completely healed and back to normal. I've never had such success with any other lotion or cream. Additionally, I love the fact that it's not the least bit greasy. I am now a certified Zim's junkie. I have the 6-oz. pump in the bath. Also, I keep two or more 2.7-oz. tubes and a supply of the vanilla stick lip moisturizer around at all times (perfect for desk, briefcase, travel bag, coat pocket, etc.) You simply cannot beat this product.

This is a great product, however, the bottle was only half full. That is the reason for the low review.

Curad Cast Protector Kid's Leg, 2 Count

Curad Cast Protector Kid's Leg, 2 CountWe used this for my 19 month old daughter who broke her leg and had a cast from her mid-thigh down to her toes. It was just long enough to fit over it. She is 34" tall. It worked very well, we have used one in the package of 2 every night for 7 nights now and have had no problems or leaking. Would definitely recommend this and it was very affordable.

We only needed it for 3 weeks when my daughter was in a cast, but it worked great for keeping it dry when she tool a bath (though she did hand her leg out of the tub) It suited our purposes very well and was sturdy enough that we only ever used the first one in the box.

It was the worst fit I can get for my 4 year old with Plastered ankles for muscle molding on both ankles. This product didn't fit we and water was going in.... I wanted to return it but never got the chance. it was just waste of money and time. I had to go and buy the rubberized on at Target for 35 dollars each.

I am 5' tall and had foot surgery. i wasn't able to get my foot wet. i initially tried a regular grocery bag with rubber bad, but it didnt work as well. this product worked great. this pack came with 2 cast protectors. i have been using the same one for a week (6 times) and it it still keeps my foot water-proof. it comes to mid-calf, so if you have a longer cast and need more protection, this won't work. but for me it's perfect (my cast comes right above my ankle).

My daughter is 3 and broke her leg in some rough housing with a 6 and 7 year old. She is an average sized 3 year old and this didn't fit her leg cast. It was too short. If it doesn't fit a 3 year old, I can't imagine who it does fit. The extra star is for the thickness of plastic and overall quality of material... would have been nice if it actually fit. Back to garbage bags we go!

First Aid Beauty Anti Redness Serum-1.7 oz.

First Aid Beauty Anti Redness Serum-1.7 oz.This product works well if you have a moisturizer or something else to go on top of it. It kind of acts like a primer. I let it absorb for 5-10 minutes before adding anything else and it noticeably reduces redness. The only bad thing about it is the price ($34 as of 1-16-2013). The other reviewer said something about the price being "exceptional" but I have no idea what they were talking about.

These are the ingredients:

Water (Aqua),Butylene Glycol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Pentylene Glycol,Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Carbomer, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Chrysanthemum Parthenium (Feverfew) Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Bisabolol, Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Benzophenone-4, Caffeine, Colloidal Sulfur, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Sodium Hydroxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol

This was recommended by someone who sells cosmetics to reduce the redness on my nose, so I thought I'd give it a try. I used it for twice a day for 3 weeks bit saw no noticeable difference in redness (which btw is not rosacea). Was really hoping for something more...

Bought this for redness on face, used for 2 days. My lips swelled up, blisters around mouth, headaches ensued. This sent me to Urgent Care for help. I'm a sensitive red-head type and although product said OK for sensitive skin, DON'T USE IT IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE!! No star review from me!

Having lived in Hawaii for ten years, my skin is basically "shot!" The dryness and aging has been accelerated and although I'm not going to change that, First Aid beauty products are

a tremendous help in moisturizing and staying ahead of the 'time clock.' This particular product is no exception to all of the products this manufacture makes. I was given a glowing

recommendation from a good friend of mine and have been buying these products since. Price is exceptional as well.

Zim's Crack Creme, 2 Ounce (Pack of 4)

Zim's Crack Creme, 2 OunceI'm an entertainer here in Nashville, TN. I sign a lot of autographs everyday and a lot of people see my hands everyday. I have had problems with my hands cracking for decades. This stuff is the only thing that works. Lotions just dry up and go away. I used to buy it in walmart and kmart but the nighttime formula is no longer available there. The day formula is nothing more than a lotion and doesn't work for me. The nighttime is in a small spray bottle and is more of a liquid that really does the job. This stuff is great!!!

My whole life I have been bothered by "leather" feet. I have thick skin and hard calluses. I do regular pedicures (and occasional razor pedicures)

and my skin would soften (and be raw) for a week. I also burned my feet in parrafin more than 10 times. No matter what I put on

(vaseline/plastic/moisturizing socks/oil) it didn't help.

Imagine my surprise, when after only 1 week of using Zims 1-2x day

I had the same results as a razor, without the pain/cost.

this is the best stuff around

my feet feel like a baby's tush

I can't urge you enough to try it

wow. wow. wow! An amazing product.

I've Been using this one for years and i can't seem to find it in stores, so i'm glad to see it here. I had tried lotions, foot cremes, wax treatments, that stuff that chemically peels the dry skin off... and they all failed to fix my dry, scratchy, cracked heels, calloused toes, and tired feet. Day 2 of using this stuff, i threw the foot file and exfoliants away.

Part of the problem with other treatments was the directions to put lotions and what not on your feet, put on some socks, and sleep with it on. I cant stand wearing socks and can't sleep with them on my feet just get sweaty. Then, the next day, i'd have this stuff on my feet and my feet would just sweat in my shoes all day. Worse than having the dry feet to begin with.

Things to note:

It's herbal -smells lovely. I love that i'm not pouring a bunch of chemicals on my skin.

It's liquid not a creme.

The spray form is very handy! (keeps your hands clean)

I just spray this on my feet before bed, rub my feet together, and tuck my tootsies in. Easy! It soaks in pretty quickly. No need for socks! After just a few nights, my thickened cracked skin was softened and the cracks started healing. Now I have the soft pink little feet i used to have as a kid.

I hope this helps you as much as it helps me.

In case you're wondering about the all-natural ingrediants, here's the list from the packaging: Glycerine, SD alchohol 3-C, de-ionized water, arnica extract and myrcia oil. I have 2 packages of this version of Zim's in front of me, one has a daisy on the box instead of a picture of the bottle, and the other looks the same as shown. I believe the daisy one is older, but the ingrediants are the same. I found both at my local CVS drugstore, but it is important to note that they were NOT located with the hand lotions or body lotions. Instead, they were across the store on the shelf with the poison ivy cures, and anti-fungals like Lamasil. Strange place to put it, no wonder it's not more well-known. The Crackcreme website says it can also be found at Rite-Aid, K-Mart, Albertson's Grocery, Fred Meyer and a long list of other stores (but not Walgreens), so you might want to check the list of US and Canadian locations. (Interestingly, it shows available Canadian Wal-marts, but American Wal-Marts are on the list). The 2.4 oz spray bottle is easy to use on feet as well as hands. The name is Crack Creme, but in the spray-bottle form, it's more of a *liquid* than a creme, with a texture somewhere between water and baby oil. Note that because it is liquid, it can run and drip (it's a spray, not a mist), so be especially quick to rub your feet together if you use it on your feet. The wetness seems to evaporate in a minute or two, so really it is not greasy like baby oil is. Using the product at least twice a day seems to work best for me. I use it on the inner sides and balls of my feet, and on the side of my index finger, which can get a bit rough from writing with a pen all day. The box says use it on your cuticles, elbows and knees, as well as hands and feet.

Believe everyone's reviews, get some, and give it a week of twice-a-day application. You'll feel a difference.

I just can't say enough about this product. If you have spent lots of $$$$$$$$$$ trying other products--STOP right now and try this. I truly have the worst heel problem, very painful especially in the winter. My daughter found this in one of her supermarkets, and said Mom just try it, what do you have to lose? Well let me tell you, ever since then I cannot live without Zims. Plus it smells good too. It has worked miracles on my heels, and my husband also uses it on his elbows. Works there too.

AQUADEKS SOFTGELS 60TB

AQUADEKS SOFTGELS 60TBI have to take water soluble versions of ADEK vitamins due to having duodenal switch weight loss surgery. These are one of few products available and the company uses this fact to overcharge, IMHO. I recently found a multivitamin with extra ADEK that is made for DS patients and is substantially cheaper per month. The other issue I had with the Aquadeks is that I always burp after taking it and it gives a bad taste. Other than that, it's a good product.

Adventure Medical Kits Smart Travel First Aid Kit

Adventure Medical Kits Smart Travel First Aid KitI found this kit to be a really nice balance of essential items for the traveler or for a basic medical kit to keep in your car. Here are my impressions, broken down:

* Nice packaging I really like the case that comes with this kit. Unlike some hard cases in which first aid kits come packaged, this one has a soft-sided and zippered case that opens to reveal separate compartments holding the items. It even comes with a handy hook that you can use to hang it wherever. Nice touch. The case doesn't seem to be especially heavy duty, but does appear to be reasonably well made.

* In addition to medicines for pain and fever, the kit also contains antihistamines, antidiarrheals and antacids to take care of your stomach, critical when you are away from home.

* The kit also has a small set of tweezers to take care of splinters, and moleskin to soothe blisters from a day out walking.

* A decent set of adhesive strips and bandages are also included.

* The kit comes with a book full of useful medical advice that seems to be well organized and informative. There's no replacing training and education in an emergency, though; the book is good and handy, but you don't want to be referring to it for critical first aid information when you are stressed out and in the middle of an emergency.

The expiration dates of the medicines that came with the kit had about a year left on them, at the earliest. You should always check these, however, and make regular rotations of fresh medicine a habit for any perishable medical supplies and first aid kits.

While well-appointed, this kit isn't totally stuffed, so there is a little bit of room to add some of your own things, like prescription meds or additions of things you think you may need that are not already in the kit.

I use this particular kit for domestic and foreign travel and as part of our car's emergency kit. The size is good for a couple of people for a couple to a few days and doesn't take up too much space in luggage about the size of a small-to-medium toiletry bag. I have other medical kits for camping and backpacking that are better suited to the space and weight needs of these specialized activities.

Good kit!

I took this kit to SE Asia on a 3 week trip. The kit came in very handy for headaches, stomach issues and lots of gauze taping and splinting as my brother broke his finger in Laos. The thermometers also came in handy when he thought that he had a fever. I will be taking this with me on all of my travels in the future.

One small note... the drug packets are printed very small and some of the names are unfamiliar, so I recommend that you look up the drugs before you go and write on the packets what they are for.

The First Years 2 Pack GumDrop Newborn Pacifier

The First Years 2 Pack GumDrop Newborn Pacifier, Blue/GreenI thought that these were the same as the gumdrop pacifier i got from the hospital.. they are not.. they are not as soft and they do pop right out.. after doing some research .. i found the other pacifier gumdrops bye hawaii medicalmy baby loves them much more, they are much softer and you get a much better deal on 5 of them not just 2!

These are the best out there! Hospitals use them for a reason. The nipple is the same as the Soothie, but the external area is form fitted to fit baby's face and is cut out so it won't cover baby's nose. These have just become available in stores, as they were only sold by gumdrop previously. My son loves them!

Buy The First Years 2 Pack GumDrop Newborn Pacifier Now

I waited to give my daughter a pacifier, because we were struggling with breastfeeding, and the pacifier seemed to be making things worse. Now, breastfeeding is going all right, but my baby is going through a phase where she is fussy in the evenings. (I hope it is just a phase!)

I've tried giving her several different kinds of pacifiers, and she usually rejects all of them. Occasionally, she will accept one of these Gum Drop pacifiers. When she does, I feel like giving this product 15 stars, because it is so nice to have a break from listening to her cry. When she accepts one of these pacifiers, sucking on it does seem to soothe her. There is a little edge thing on the reverse, and she sometimes grabs onto that while she is sucking. It's pretty cute.

The little edge thing has a hole in it, so if you wanted to attach this pacifier to the baby (or something else), I think that would work. We use the pacifier pretty infrequently, so we don't attach it to anything at all.

If you're trying different pacifiers to hopefully find one that will work, it's worth trying this one, because it is a different shape than many of the other options out there.

I love the gumdrop pacifier because it didn't interfere with breastfeeding when my son was first born -it didn't create any "nipple confusion" that other pacifiers can create. When he was born the only place I knew to get these were through Hawaii Medical, but then I noticed these being carried in stores. Yes they are definitely a sturdier material than the Hawaii Medical version, but those are meant for newborns. I noticed that as my son got older he was starting to chew on them and bend them, and I started to see fractures and cracks inside the pacifier itself. Since the "store" version of these had a 0-3 mo or 3+ mo designation I decided to try the 3+ and they have been great. My son is not able to bend them like he could the softer ones and I don't worry about him getting the whole pacifier in his mouth. He has no problem keeping them in his mouth when he wants to because the nipple part is not any different than the softer pacifiers. I would definitely recommend this version for older babies.

My twins were born premature and these pacifiers are absolutely their favorite.... they contour well to their little facesmy only issue was I made a mistake when selecting the color set I wanted (I wanted pink and purple) and somehow when they arrived they were blue and greenso just double check your order first for the right color

ELASTIKON Elastic Tape 1 In x 5 yds (Stretched) EACH Roll

ELASTIKON Elastic Tape 1 In x 5 yds EACH RollThe product sent by this supplier (BP Medical Supplies) is no good. Judging from the condition of the box (faded and worn), plus the fact that the glue is dried up and the tape won't stick, this is obviosly a VERY old, and out of date batch.

My husband and I use this tape when the skin on our fingers split and crack. We've tried so many products over the years but this one we can rely on to work for us. Try it if you're skin splits open during winter or when your hands are in water a lot.

First Aid Only 2" Conforming Gauze Roll Bandage, 2-Count Boxes (Pack of 10)

First Aid Only 2' Conforming Gauze Roll Bandage, 2-Count BoxesIt drove me crazy that there's no mention of how long these things are so I opened one up and measured it. It was about 86" long, not stretched.

I ordered this gauze to use on a wound for my dog. As a trained vet tech, I'm used to a lot of different bandaging products. The stretch gauze I've used most often is Conform, by Kendall. This gauze is different in texture, but works similarly. It doesn't quite "grab" itself like the Conform does, but it still does the job needed, especially since self-stick pressure bandage is used outside of it.

I am not however, a fan of the packaging. This product comes two rolls per box, and ten boxes. Each roll is individually wrapped. In some messier or outdoor situations, I'm sure that's useful, but I found it annoying. I wish it were available (or if it is that I had found it) in a more bulk packaging option. I feel like all the packaging is a waste.

The cots are as durable as you would hope, and do not have any talc on them. Note... Latex gloves and cots will deteriorate when exposed to air. Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson First Aid Paper Tape 1X5Yd

Johnson & Johnson Non-Irritating Paper Tape, 1-Inch 1 eachThis tape doesn't stick to skin nor itself. Usually if you run tape around your finger, for example, then lay it back over itself it will stick. Not this stuff. Even with tincture of benzoin (which is a liquid you paint on the skin to enhance the adhesion of any tape) it barely stuck and then only for a much shorter time than desired. 3M Micropore is way better. It seems 3M is now named Nexcare, so the Nexcare paper tape is Micropore if you read the fine print on the back. That's the stuff.

The J&J kind I bought was green package but did not say non-irritating. Don't know if there's regular green and special non-irritating green. Grr.

Johnson and Johnson makes a great non-irritating paper tape suitable for holding gauze bandages and other bandages right up against your skin while wounds heal. The hypoallergenic paper tape represents a big plus. The tape is a full inch wide to make it easy to manipulate with your hands; and it is hypoallergenic.

Only one thing to keep in mind: if you have hair at the site of the wound or nearby the tape might be painful to remove. Try to be as gentle as you can when removing this tape under those circumstances.

Overall, this great tape will satisfy you. The adhesive quality will please you, too. This tape makes it possible to secure gauze and other types of bandages so that wounds heal properly. I highly recommend this tape.

Buy Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson First Aid Paper Tape 1X5Yd Now

I recently had a skin graft taken from my thigh to cover a surgical site on my chest, and from Day-1 (three weeks ago) I continue to replace the gauze at both sites. The tape I was originaly given at the hospital (3M Micropore) has caused a skin irritation possibly due to some sort of allergy. So I gave this tape a try. Although it has caused no irritation to my skin, it has caused another type of irritation which is that it doesn't stick to my skin and the gauze separates from my skin after enduring only minimal activities. This tape might work ok if you are able to wrap it all the way around a leg or arm, or if you are unconcious and are lying completely still, but I am concious and my wounds aren't in locations that allow wraping. I am at a point in my healing that although I don't get up and run laps around the track, this tape will not hold to my skin after enduring my normal day-to-day routine which has only been driving to work and going to the grocery store...nothing very strenuous. As it's name indicates, it is in fact "non-irritating" on the skin, but unless you are bed-ridden, it is not worth moving about having to worry if your bandages are going to fall off. I have since gone back to my orignal tape because I'd rather put up with a skin irritation than having to worry if the bandages are going to fall off.
