Batya Cushioned Bath Baby Bather

Let me start by saying that we love this bath cushion! I bought it when my son started getting too big for the hard plastic inclined seat that came with his infant bath tub at around 3 months. He's 4 months now and loves floating in his cushion. BUT, it does not, as claimed, gently nestle him so that he will not tip over. Not at 17 lbs and 4 months of squirm anyway. I know no parent in this day and age is going to leave their infant alone in the bath tub, but since this is advertised as a way to bathe your infant and older child together I figure I should mention you need to keep a hand ready to stop the sudden tip over when said infant decides the bath toy he wants is the one just out of reach. Personally I love this cushion, but I think I'll love it more for our eventual 2nd child who will use it from birth than for our very active current child. I look forward to the day I can try out the next in this series of bath cushions when he can sit up independently. Overall, great product!

We all know how terrifying bathing our newborn can be... It seems a very interesting approach to keep your baby afloat. However, it does not allow the water to cover his body, and hence it is to cold. It is expensive and I would have not been able to use it for more than 2-3 months when babies want to be sitting while taking a bath. On the picture they don't show where the eyeballs of the cushion go, but they end up on the baby's head or neck.

I bought one of these for my grandson, and at first I was a little nervous using it. However, he loves it! He is 6 months old and and he just lounges in it while getting his bath. As one of the other reviews stated, this is not a floating device you cannot leave them unattended. My grandson loves it, and I love it too. It makes bathing him very easy and enjoyable.

I just recently bought another one for my grandaughter who is 1 1/2 months old. This fits perfectly in a large sink. She also loves bath time.

The only drawback would be the eyes. These poke into the back of their heads if you leave it face up, however, I flip it over when using it with the eyes pointing down into the water. Perfect!

This product or a similar one is a must for aging parents, people with balance problems, chronic illnesses and for general safety in a wet, slippery environment.

For some people the size of an older tub might prevent this from attachng firmly. I actually had to shim the clamp to get a firm closure. I've only had to adjust it once since I intalled it for my husband who has PD.

We began using this safety bar before he had serious issues so that his body would be familiar with the kenetic motions required. I'm glad we did because he had a temporary downturn in his health and urgently needed the firm support required. It was only because his body knew how to move to the bath seat using the bar that we were able to get him in and out of the tub/shower.

Some people might prefer a bar which is perpendicular to the tub but we find that this works well and are pleased with it.

I'm not happy with the fact that I had to shim it significantly because I think a better design would have solved that problem.

My wife had a hip replacement earlier this year. She was unable to even get in the bathtub for several weeks. During physical therapy, she worked at home with the therapist to enable her to enter and leave the tub safely. This bathtub bar was essential to allow her to do so safely and on her own.

We looked at several medical supply houses and then searched the internet. We finally settled on this device for quality, price, and mounting capability. We were not disappointed. I secures quickly and easily and leaves no marks on the tub. We have used it on a cast iron tub upstairs and it now resides on our fiberglass whirlpool tub in our downstairs guest suite.

My wife no longer needs this for her own use, but we moved it to the bathtub in our guestroom for use by her 79 year mother when she visits. We feel secure in its use, and it will be a permanent fixture in our home.

Very happy with the sturdy material. This is metal and VERY solid once attached securely. The only reason I subtracted a star is because it takes a lot of strength to tighten the handle down so that there is no wiggling and once in place it's a bit annoying if you plan to take it off the tub routinely for cleaning. Other than that this is a perfect tub rail at a very affordable price.

These bandages are rather pricey but they're indispensable for me. I walk 20 miles/day and tend to get callouses/corns between my toes. No other types of bandaids fit between my toes and these have amazing staying power. They rarely come off on their own. I can take baths for several days and they stay on. I used them to hold on tiny callous cushions which tend to be knocked off by putting on and taking off shoes and socks or by the bedclothes when I sleep. Highly recommend!

I accidentally burned my thumb and two fingertips with a glue gun. All three were 2nd degree burns and causing me a great deal of pain. Removing the glue also popped the blisters. I used trace minerals to kill any bacteria, and applied some pain relieving Neosporin and an antibiotic bandage AND took an ibuprofen. The pain continued to come and go. I asked the pharmacist what they recommended and they just said there wasn't anything over the counter that would help much beyond what I'd already done. I'm glad I didn't give up there! I wandered to the bandages and spotted these little gems. I applied them as soon as I got home. The pain ceased within 10 minutes and hasn't returned (it is now three days later).

They stick very well even in water and they don't make your skin pruny afterwards!

I pulled one of them off on the 2nd day and the blisters had disappeared entirely.

I pulled another off and while in good shape, it needed more healing time. I removed the third one today and the blister is still there, but it is healed enough to no longer require any sort of bandage. I could use my injured fingers without pain after only 10 minutes!

Score Band-Aid! I will be telling my friends about these, especially the hikers!

I purchased a version of these bandages in Europe after walking more than I am used to and getting really bad blisters. They saved my trip!! I checked all over for the brand I bought in Europe and finally decided to give these a go. They are fantastic. I recommend using them anywhere not just fingers and toes. The trick is to leave them on for a week or so. They create a blister (so you will see a puffy white blister under the bandage) to help with healing. Left undisturbed the area will heal nicely. If you use this on your arm or leg, I recommend trimming or shaving the hair in that area as the bandage will cling to hair when you try to remove it later (ouch!)

I broke my foot in a motorcycle accident a couple years ago, and when everything was finally healed, my bone structure was no longer the same. Which meant that many of my shoes no longer fit quite right, and I was getting unexpected blisters. Now I just stick one of these things over any spot that is rubbing, and my life is much, much better. (And I have not had to replace a whole bunch of shoes.)

I work out a lot, and a sniff of these gives a huge boost. The ammonia gas irritates the mucous membranes, raising blood pressure and heart rate, and will cause you to breath faster. Basically gives you a ton of energy. When I'm playing basketball, especially multiple games in a row, using one of these will get me totally torqued. Really recommend for athletes.

I use this container model in my personal truck. It's not bad but I wish the top was a bit better about not allowing sharps to potentially get out. That's the trade off for the smaller size. If you have the outer top clipped closed that's a non issue. Since it's in my truck I don't expect to get high use and if I end up working an accident and adding to it I just swap boxes. (Mainly I use it for my own finger stick lancets)

I suffer from psoriasis and hoped this would be something natural that would have helped in conjunction with what I already do, unfortunately it didn't not.

I have rosacea and always have a hard time finding things that help my symptoms AND don't irritate my skin in the meantime. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and so far I have had, no stinging, no extra redness, no weird breakout and no extra greasiness. The moisturizer is very thick, but I use such a little bit of it that this will last me a while. Same for the facewash too actually. This will probably last me about 2 months I would guess, which is a great deal and a nice long time to make sure that this works for my skin before I buy more. I haven't noticed a decrease in facial redness yet, but I'm still holding out hope that since this is so gentle it will eventually take effect.

The facewash removes most makeup, but I still have to use a separate remover for my eye makeup.

The toner pads have a odd smell, maybe licorice? but it fades quickly once you apply the moisturizer.

I am a penny pincher so to make the whole kit last longer I just cut the toner pads in half and just use half of one each time. Works just as well!

It's a gunshot wound trauma bandage. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it, so I haven't opened it. But from everything I see, I like it.

I have played with most of the major brands, HH, IBD etc. They all work, so if you are very price sensitive just go with the cheapest. This one does have some nice features.

1. packaging, most all are vacuum sealed to compress them, this one seems to have held its seal much better than others

2. design, love the occular protector that is built in (the hard plastic center doubles as an eye protection dressing) not that useful but could be handy

3 design-2 and much more important the bulk of the dressing can be pulled out and and used in multiple locations (in and out for example), I carry additional gauze but this makes it less necessary, if you are limited on space this makes the dressing much more useful

Spenco 2nd Skin Adhesive Knit

We love to hike. This is the only stuff that stays where you put it without wadding up and causing blisters and sore spots.

I've used Spenco Adhesive Knit for years. I love these sheets. I pre-cut them into small pieces the size I need, then I have a ready-to-go blister prevention kit. I put it on before a hike and take some with me in case my friends need some for their hot spots. The Spenco material is thin and stays put. I'm used to the moleskin from my Army days, so this material is much thinner, but seems to work just as well. Adhesive sticks very well.
