I'm sure it can fit some scrub pockets but if you have smaller pockets, it will not fit.

Needless to say I've tried numerous braces over the years, and this this one of the best. It's very light, breathable, and I can also adjust the amount of support needed by pulling more or less the two side elastic bands. It gives good support yet it is not too stiff. I had it on all day few times last week and it did not cause rashes like most other braces did. Excellent product, very happy with it.

Like most people who fit that description, I occasionally have to deal with back pain, sometimes from straining, sometimes from overwork, sometimes for no good reason at all. (Once I even pulled a muscle in my back while putting on my socks! No, really.) As such, I have a battery of medicines for when pain arises, and I also have a choice of several back braces and wraps to alleviate pain and provide warmth and support when needed. I'd tried other Ace products before (who hasn't?), but never one of their back braces. Unbelievably (or maybe not so), I badly strained my back the day this arrived. I took it right out of the box and put it on.

I like that it goes on easy without instructions. It has a flexible, breathable band that fastens with Velcro, and two more overbands for tightening and support. The structure is a little lumpy, but it is thin enough that it can be worn under typical street clothes (though you may have to finagle the waistband of your pants a little). Once I got it on and stood up, I could immediately feel the solid support of this brace. It has some rigid plastic forms that run along the sides that help it maintain stiffness. To be honest, these were a little bit uncomfortable at first and took some getting used to. After walking around and sitting in a desk chair for a while, I sat in the sofa to watch TV. This was not a good idea. The plastic supports dug into my sides and hips, which was neither conducive to supporting my back or to alleviating my pain. I tried to move it up and down and around, but I couldn't get it to be comfortable when seated on the sofa. This led me to conclude that this particular back brace is only 100% effective when the upper body is upright and largely straight.

Even with that drawback, though, I consider this to be one of the better back braces I have used over the years. It really feels solid and provides a little warmth in addition to the strong support. I think it will make a perfect brace for when I need one while running or maybe mowing the lawn. I can even see me wearing it to work under my factory clothes, if I need to. Ace continues to be a leader in athletic supports and braces, and this back brace is no exception.

It's not as solid as a brace that you might wear for heavy-duty lifting, but you wouldn't want to wear one of those for 8 hours. Note also that it's less expensive than most of them.

As other reviewers have mentioned, depending on your body type, you may be limited in where you can comfortably locate this brace. I normally suffer from lower back pain, but couldn't find a sweet spot for this as low as I would've liked. Granted, it feels great around my midsection, but I wish I could wear it a little lower. To be fair, though, reducing my pudge a bit would likely solve that problem. Bear this in mind if you aren't on the slim side.

Unfortunately, this isn't supposed to go in the washing machine. So be prepared to hand wash it if you get it sweaty. In my experience so far, though, it seems to resist sweat and body odor pretty well. I didn't feel like I had to seal it up in a biohazard container after wearing it all day.

When this Ace Back Brace first arrived I was highly impressed with the high quality of the brace. It is really well made. I also loved the fact that it has two levels of bands. This allows you to make it tighter and give yourself more support. The material is also very breathable. You could easily wear this all day under your clothes and not be too hot or sticky feeling.

This Ace Back Brace may not fit everyone. I am a female that wears a size 16 and this fits me perfectly. If I were any smaller, it would not fit. It should fit people that are larger than me to some extent (I am not sure what size it would fit up to). Since the brace is fastened by pulling in the ends on both side, I can not see a way around this. It would have been better if it was wrapped around one side so that it would fit everyone.

The biggest flaw however and the reason I will not wear this outside of the house is because it pushes things around on my body. I have a little bit of a stomach and it pushes my fat down to the bottom of the brace. It is most noticeable when I sit down while wearing the brace. It makes me feel self conscious and uncomfortable. I tried loosing it some, but then I felt as though it did not support my back enough when I did that.

I will continue to wear this around the house when my back hurts, but I will unfortunately not be using it at work where I need it most (I have a desk job).

Overall the company's line up has held it own in providing quality comfort and aid in the healing process. I easily opted for this opportunity to test one of their newer products. After a few weeks use, these are my thoughts.

After reading over the instructions I affixed the adjustable back brace to a comfortable setting. I must admit the feel is lighter and less restrictive then I first thought. The foam back support is better then expected. Adjustment is quite easy with the velcro fastener. I'm not really sold on the side mounted polystyrene strips. They can be uncomfortable when bending over to pick up items. I had no problem with wearing it under my clothes.

Standing up or sitting down I found it quite comfortable. When doing lawn chores I didn't even know I wearing this back brace until I bent over to pick up debris. Again the side mounted strips that I had mentioned earlier led to my discomfort. With the help of my hefty neighbor (44" waist) I soon found out that this product is not one size fits all.

Overall, this Ace product has its good points. For me I prefer a more defined back brace vice the light padding that this model is outfitted with. Still, for small aches and pains this back brace is a better then average, cost effective alternative.

I have had this kit for 2 years now. I personally don't like it. I would say 125+ of the items are individual bandaids. The scissors and tweazers are garbage. This is something you can use to fix basic cuts that your kids may get but that is it. I gave it 3 stars because it isn't bad for the price but I personally think you could do better buying $23 dollars worth of first aid stuff from your local drug store and dollar store. This would also be a far better kit with more of the supplies you actually need, not just bandaids. This is what I would buy with the money in place of this kit. Also, the actual case is garbage, it is extremely flimsy/cheap. If you want something of higher quality that should last you a long time but doesn't cost that much, look under Amason for the Voodoo first aid pouch or the Condor EMT pouch.

This product was demonstrated to me at a nursing home as a great way for elderly or other disabled persons (especially after surgery) to enter a bath tub without worrying about lifting the leg too high and losing balance. I found the identical unit here at Amazon, and was thrilled that it was well made of plastic bench and back, sturdy aluminum supports, and has rubber feet that won't scratch the floor or tub or slip. The bench has drain holes in it to lessen puddling. It is inexpensive (about $70) with free shipping.

It comes unassembled, so putting it together does take some time, but not too bad. Basically screws washers and nuts. The handle can mount as shown in the picture, or also mount next to the chair back if you arrange the parts correctly (the mounting holes for the handle are pre-drilled on one pair of legs, but not on the other).

The recipient love it and feels safe using it.

This is a dangerous product and probably should be subject to product recall. The leg height adjustments are buttons inserted into holes in the legs. These buttons are on the inside of the legs of the unit. When we used the bench, the buttons on the room side of the bench pressed against the shower curb and caused the outside legs to slide into their outer housing. This caused the room side of the bench suddenly to collapse and very nearly dumped my 80-year old wife on the floor. If there hadn't been two of us assisting, she certainly would have fallen. Needless to say the bench has been returned. The only positive part of the experience was the ease of returning the item to Amazon.com.

I'm a paraplegic since 1980 and need a shower chair to help me in my daily life. My old shower chair seat unexpectedly broke (after more than 12 years) and I needed a replacement in a hurry and couldn't afford to buy anything expensive, so when I saw this chair for $47 I grabbed it. The quality of construction seems solid enough, although there was a bit of a problem with the hardware assembly as mentioned in other reviews. Specifically, the chair comes with short, medium, and long length bolts. There is only about 1/4" 5/16" difference between the medium and long bolts. The hardware supplied with the chair came with 2 too few long bolts, and 2 too many medium bolts. Luckily for me, I had other bolts in the house and didn't need to buy more or return this chair because of something so trivial. ***The seller should take note of this hardware issue and correct the problem for future buyers.***

The chair is OK for the most part, except for 4 issues (for me), only one of which is serious in my opinion. The minor issues are 1) that the chair teeters because of the slope of the tub vs. the level floor until substantial weight is put on the chair forcing all 4 legs to touch, and 2) the way the seat is designed, it's impossible to securely tuck the shower curtain into the space between the outer transfer panel and the seat panel (which can cause a wet floor outside the tub), and 3) that the side handrail should be adjustable height. The major issue for me with this chair is that the seat is the most uncomfortable of any shower chair I've ever used in 30 years. Because of my paralysis my butt doesn't have a lot of meat on it to cushion me, and the hard plastic textured seat is extremely hard on my skin. I tend to be slow in the shower, taking on average about 20 minutes. After the first use with no cushioning under my butt, my skin literally had red pressure marks for about 3 days.

The seat panels are constructed of hollow injection molded plastic with a rough texture. They could greatly improve the comfort of this chair by molding a "butt" impression into the 2 halves of the plastic seat panels to distribute weight more evenly and reduce pressure spots, but then it would probably cost more because all 3 seat panels would all be different. Closed cell foam padding on the seat would also help a lot. I still do use this chair, but in order to prevent sores I have to use both a folded towel under me, with a cheap air cushion on top of that, and even using those, it's still not great. I do not look forward to my showers with this chair. Because of these issues I intend to repair my old chair and keep this primarily for an emergency spare, it's more than good enough for that.

Bottom line: If you just have weak legs, poor balance, or are just afraid of falling, this chair would probably be fine unless you are very heavy. BUT... If you are a para or quad or have skin breakdown issues and can afford to spend more, keep looking for something better if it's to be used long term. If you do have skin issues and buy this chair, get some cushioning for it. It's not a terrible chair, but it's far from the best.

It was easy to assemble and is very adjustable to the height you need. I am an above-the-knee amputee. This was just what I needed to help me bathe when I got home from the hospital. This works fast and is really good. I took it the first night I got it and went to sleep fast and I dreamed. And that never happens any more. Brave Soldier Antiseptic Healing Ointment

I've been using this on every kind of scrape, rash, chaffing, skin abrasion, and small cut I've had since I bought it. I put it on when I cut myself shaving or where my Spring allergies have caused me to rub a spot near my eye raw.

In addition to healing and protecting--both of which it does better than bacitracin or neosporin on all but deep cuts--it's also quite pleasant. It's not greasy, nor so thin in consistency that it just comes right off if you don't put a band-aid over it. Petroleum jelly by comparison seems to add its own bit of irritation that this does not; and this provides some bit of pain relief as well for those knicks, bug bites, and rashes that sting or itch. Add that it smells nice.

BOTTOM LINE: On minor knicks, I just put a bit of this ointment on and I'm good to go. On chaffing, it provides quick relief and healing--though better to go with Brave Soldier Friction Zone Skin Protectantover the long term.

Stick a tube of this in your backpack for a hike, bike, or camping trip--it will come in extremely handy when you just need a bit of relief from a minor irritation that's not really worth the full first-aid treatment.

I highly recommend Burn Jel as it provides highly effective and fast relief from minor burns. The 4 ounce tube will last a long time and is an excellent addition to a home first aid kit. Five stars does not do this product justification! Hopefully you will never have to use Burn Jel but you should have it handy in case it is needed.

I'm used to the moleskin from my Army days, so this material is much thinner, but seems to work just as well. Adhesive sticks very well.
