Olbas Sampler Kit

Olbas is a good blend of essential oils well known for their therapeutic properties, particularly for respiratory issues. Use the oil sparingly because it's scent (wintergreen) is very strong & might irritate those with sensitive skin/sinuses. The Olbas tea is one of my favorite remedies because it really seems it take the chill off during a cold, rainy autumn evening. I also find it useful when I have sinus congestion, coughs, or a mild headache but again, these are my personal experiences & someone else may not get the same relief from this product as I do. The tea is quite tasty but again, be mindful how much you add to your cup because it can become overpowering if you add too much. The Olbas pastilles are strong & have an acquired taste but I did find relief for my sore throat/cough using them. Again, caution in how you use these because too many in one day may cause nausea in sensitive individuals. The Olbas massage oil is nice in that it contains the original Olbas Oil with the European vitamin oil "HACOBA" (FYI: HACOBA oil is a mixture of vegetable oils which contain the vitamins B1, B2, B6, E & F (essential fatty acids) Excellent for the skin). The Olbas muscle rub works about the same as any other wintergreen type muscle rub pain reliever. In general, this kit is a nice little assortment of their main product line in sample sizes. The kit I originally ordered said it was 7-pcs but I was pleasantly surprised to receive the 9-pc instead at no extra cost.

This was definitely a great purchase. The kit contained multiple Olbas items that are all useful. The cost would be more expensive to purchase the items separately, so it's worth the price, plus you can try out the different products.

Profoot Profoot Vita-Gel Corn Wraps

I have been using these for a long time. They have saved me a lot of pain. I haven't had any of the problems that Sangeet complains of. I suppose that everyone's foot is different, but I know that as long as I use these lovely thingys I do not get a corn between my toes. There is no adhesive to make your toe sticky and they have the advantage of being reusable for a long time with a little care. I just rinse them out and let them dry overnight. I have been reusing the same couple of wraps for many months.

I use these for my big toe for sandals and open toe high heel shoes that rub or pinch my toe right by my toe nail. These things are a life saver for that!! They can be used several times and you can wash them out by hand to re use them. They do not take up extra space in the shoes so they do not make the shoes tight. You can not tell I am wearing it either which is great!! I can also cut them to size for if I am wearing a sandal with a narrow strap over my toes. Again, I love these for shoes that bite and pinch my toes. They are not just for cornes!! This is also a great price for these! The gel is very comfy and it moisturizes while you wear them too. Quite necessary to be prepared in a hurry in the event of an emergency. I purchased this kit to get me started in the right direction. I may add some personal stuff just for my little guys but this kit has what is needed should an urgent situation arise where you need to grab something quickly and go. The only thing I was not happy with was the bag a duffle bag would have worked better so that if you wanted to add some things it would be easy; with the bag they provided you would have to throw the kit into a large bag with anything else you wanted to include. I am very satisfied over all with my purchase.

Seems good for larger dogs. Fortunately we've not used it yet? Seems packed with the necessary items that we hope to not need to use

I found this product a little lacking. Due to a personal emergency I left this kit behind for my dog and it seemed to be of only the most limited use. My dog's lack of opposable thumbs made it nigh impossible to get most out of this kit. It was able to tear open some of the packets, but the water purification packets, first aid kit, poop bags, and decals went completely unused. To top it all off, it ate the lightsticks leaving glow in the dark scat everywhere. On the positive side the toys and rope were a big hit.

I purchased these for my mother who was left incontinent after having a severe stroke three years ago. Since then I've tried various drugstore brands (from CVS, Rite-Aid and Walgreen) and I've tried different sizes in those brands (23 x 36 and 30 x 30), but these are the most absorbent and economical I've found. The local drugstores usually charge $19.99 for thirty of the 30 x 36 size or $.67 each. These are less than $.52 each.

I find the the 30 x 36 size work best for us. They cover the width of her hospital bed and are long enough that I don't have to overlay them. I also use a cloth under-pad under the disposable which doubles as a draw-sheet, but even when my mother has spilled a full drink on herself, the pad has yet to leak onto the cloth under-pad. Of course, it helps that I use really absorbent diapers at night--the Tranquility ATN diapers.Tranquility ATN All-Through-the-Night Disposable Briefs Tranquility ATN Briefs 2186 Large Pack of 12 TRA2183TRA2186_pk

Since my little Yorkie has aim issues with smaller pads, I found and use these.

XL Paramedic, EMT, Medic, EMS Tool Pouch & Sheath

I purchased the XL EMS Tool Pouch and Sheath for my work with the EMS System in my state. I wanted a large enough pouch to hold my medic gear securely so that I could save some pocket space for other items.

I am fairly impressed with the construction and materials so far.

As stated, it can hold a stethoscope in the large back pocket, but I use a dual lumen, dual head type and it takes a little effort to get it put in there and I have to be careful when I pull it out as mine has a rubber ring securing the diaphrams to the bells and it has a tendency to want to roll off and then I have to put it together again, which can be a little distracting in an emergency and if I lose a piece in the field, I am pretty much S.O.L.

The velcro closure system on the pouch does not go to the bottom of the unit and the flap will not pull down tight across the tops of my tools, which means that they are not as secure as I would like them to be, although I have not actually lost any yet.

It could also use a velcro or snap flap to secure shears or hemostats in the pockets, or a securing flap across the entire outer flap to pull the outer flap tight to keep everything in the pockets.

All in all appears to be a decent product, but could use some adjustments. I am not a designer, but a user, and these are just my opinions.

This is why I gave it four stars and not five.

I will take mine to a seamstress to see if she can put an extra piece of velcro across the bottom of the pouch or a larger piece higher inside the flap, or both, to make it more secure and maybe a closure across the outer flap.

Very comfortable, very big you can store a lot in it, I use it for my bp cuff sheers and my pen light and gloves

Shipping is fine. Product is not as excellent as shown in picture. The stethoscope fits in nicely in the pouch, but the EMT shearer fits in loosely and has the tendency to drop out of the pouch when moving about. Internal seams are not properly trimmed, leaving sharp edges inside which may cause unpleasant experience when you take out the necessary items in the compartments.

I use this product for myself and for my dogs. I always like to keep at least two rolls on hand, so getting a pack of four on Amazon was great (the price was better here than buying them individually at the drug store or at other online stores). The product packaging was good, and the product arrived in good shape, ready to use. This tape is great to apply to dressings that you don't want to get wet if applied correctly, it keeps the dressing under it completely dry. I have tried some off-brand products, but they don't stick as well as this tape.

I bought this particular batch after my dog got a cut on her pad, and I had to bandage it daily for four weeks. This product was literally a life saver as she couldn't get the wound wet and even in the rain it kept the water off the dressing and her wound. I applied six strips over the dressing on her paw and it worked well to keep the water out. I would definitely buy again.

Holds up pretty good for about two showers.. much better than regular tape though. When you reach the final strands it does not stick to well at all, so its best to just get a new roll.

Overall worth it.

I thought I would pass along a new to me invention and use for the Cryopak Fex Ice Blanket.

I cut them into long thin stips, freeze them and roll them in a wet dish towel, like this ==== ====.

Anyway, I pitch the wet towel into the freezer a few minutes before I go out for a run, hike or motorcycle ride. Then I wrap the contraption around my neck and stuff the ends in the front of my shirt. It rests on my carotid arteries in my neck and keeps me much, much more comfortable when it is blazing hot outside.

It also makes me able in quickly recover from what would be a totally overheated condition.

Of course you could accomplish the same thing with ice cubes. What a mess that makes when the cubes melt, not to mention not being inappropriate for women. (Think wet T-shirt contest)

This item is fantastic! We have used these ice blankets for many years. They are great for icing the back when it hurts and wrapping around food in an ice chest. They can be folded to fit into the freezer better. If you need to wrap ice around an arm/leg then this will work. Secure with a towel to keep blanket from sliding off.

Olay 2 in 1 advanced Soothing Creme + Advanced Moisture Body Wash

This stuff smells great and moisturizes really well too. But it leaves a really lotion-y residue behind which makes shaving with it impossible. It clogs up the razor too much. I don't use shaving cream in the shower, so I guess this will only be for days when I'm not shaving.

First of all there are no beads in this great product so avoid any negative comments claiming this. This is an excellent product, the fragrance is good for men or women. It has great silky lather and rinses clean leaves you moist and best of all doesn't leave white fatty residue on the tile or grout! I love the fragrance while being floral it is not super girly like the Shea butter one by oil of olay. I highly recommend this body wash, it is a big bottle and great value too.

Tinactin Chill Liquid Spray 4 oz (113 g)

Works great on itchy feet. Lid is child-proofed so you can twist it and lock it from being sprayed when it shouldn't be used. Great product from Tinactin.

the name says it "Chill". that's what it feels like when you spray it on. The cool/chill sensation immediately affects the itching area (my feet) and makes me feel like it's going to work however, the itchiness returns hours later. Also the residual is liquid so unless you dont mind not moving with your socks off for 20mins to let it dry, you'll need to stay put. I tried putting my socks on immediately afterwards but it makes me feel the full 'medicinal effect' will be lost. Be aware that when it sprays, it sprays and the odor and spray can easily get into your nose. Hope it's not cancerous ;>
