Mueller M Tape - Case

MUELLER Athletic Tape width 1.5', 15yds - 32 Rolls

Its a great quality tape. The only tape I use. I am an athlete and was studying to be an athletic trainer and this tape was the best tape I have ever used. It is strong when its in use and it rips smoothly when taken off the roll. It smells a little, but not as bad as some other tapes out there. Tried like 3 different popular name tapes out there and Mueller is probably the best one.

PROS: Rips easily from roll. Doesn't get that one string at the end that doesn't rip all the way through. Clean. Easy to use. Strong.

CONS: Not much besides the smell.

I turned an ankle once the pain was incredible. Ever since I have taped my ankles before going out to play tennis. This is just the right tape for the job. Right width, easy to apply and remove. and strong enough to provide the protection needed. I have tried other tapes. This is by far the best.

When I read other reviews about how well this tape held up for ankle taping, I decided to give it a try. I'd been buying McDavid tape at Sports Authority for a while and saw that this tape is much cheaper.

I'm more than halfway through my large box of tape and am done using it. I play 1-2 soccer games per week and tape both ankles every game (with pre-wrap as well). This tape does tear easily, but too easily. If you give it a good tug, it will tear even when you don't want it to. This tape just doesn't hold up, it becomes soft and wet through the course of the game. And then it becomes sticky, sticking to your socks. I can't tell you how many pairs of socks now have tape goo stuck to the insides of them. This tape is also harder to remove than McDavid tape using a Cramer Shark tape cutter.

I thought maybe I was just remembering the McDavid tape differently, so I used the McDavid tape for my last game and there was a noticeable difference. The McDavid tape held up MUCH better.

This tape may be good for other things, but it's not worth continuing to tape my ankles with.

I got a horrible deep knee injury when I was a child, and the pediatrician told mom to trickle a little ST-37 right down into the wound. I expected it to burn like everything else did -but it dramatically lessened the pain.

For my own kids, there was "Magic Blue Bottle" for everything from burns to toothaches and sore throats.

It kind of dropped out of sight in our part of the country for a few years. I am just tickled to find it online just in time for the grandchildren!

As a public school teacher, I accidentally discovered ST37 in the clinic when I got a paper cut. This product not only healed my cut quickly, but did not burn. I keep it on-hand all the time at home. Like everyone else, my dad SWORE by this stuff and even my grandmother once used it on a terrible burn on her son in the 1930s. She was poor as dirt but would spend the money on the blue bottle of ST37 because it worked on so many things.

I had my grandkids for four days the first week of January. I dabbed some of this on my one year old grandson's ezcema because it was so irritated and he was scratching like crazy. He seemed like he really enjoyed with I would apply it and I only did so maybe 5-6 times. My daughter couldn't believe how much improved it was when she returned. She said other products have only reduced the irritation but the ST37 actually healed it up!

Researched main ingredient and see that it's used in age spot treatment. Naturally, I have been dabbing on a tiny bit each am and pm and no kidding, it is lightening these age spots I've had for YEARS. I'm going to buy some for each of my kids and their families!

I am extremely satisfied with this product. And my home is a serious challenge. I have also used Nature's Miracle; not bad at all but a brand-specific battery operated sprayer that I paid for was inoperable regardless of battery health, and it just isn't quite as good as Nok-Out. Odo Ban smells so strong that I can't stand it much better than animal urine smell. Bissell's Pet Odor and Stain remover is definitely unequal to any real pet disaster. Now we come to Nok-Out. It works amazingly well. If a bad smell can be removed this will do it. And it is nontoxic, and so gentle that I don't have to spray it outside, or open all my windows.

It also goes a long way. It isn't as expensive as it seems because it really lasts.

This product was a waste of money. I sprayed the inside of a wood chest of drawers to eliminate old furniture smell ( sprayed both the drawers as well as inside cabinet ). Product did not eliminate odor made it worse.

I purchased this product for my father. I got a curved blade thinking it would help keep the water in front of the squeegee instead of pushing it to the side. By curving the blade it makes it a little more difficult to use the squeegee in the first place, and water goes everywhere anyway. Not a bad product, but probably wouldn't worry about getting a curved blade if I had to do it over.

As usual Johnson and Johnsom's products are good quality. These gauze pads are absorbent and are 3" x 3". Iv'e purchased cheaper pads but they were thinner and not a full 3".

3M Steri-Strip reinforced Skin Closures - 1/2" x 4" - 6 strip Envelopes

3M Steri-Strip Adhesive Skin Closures 1/2' x 4' Box: 50

Adhesion of Steri-Strips is increased quite a bit by an application of "Compound Benzoin Tincture". More specifically Compound Benzoin Tincture is an adhesive adjunct. This is recommended by 3m, the maker of Steri-Strip. see there PDF on the subject, but I have tried it and it works much better. They still only stay on a couple of days for me if on a finger or someplace that gets used alot.

You apply a coat of Compound Benzoin Tincture to the area where the Steri-Strip will stick. Let it dry, or tack up, and then apply the Steri-Strip. It helps it survive water too, but water should still be avoided if possible. It is OK to get Compound Benzoin Tincture across the wound as well as the area you want to stick. It seals up the wound to some degree. Read about its use by the military on, and in, blisters, as well as to help stick blister bandages and mole skin better. I have heard that using super-glue under the strips works too. Haven't tried that yet.

BTW, I agree, Steri-Strips do work much better then Butterfly Bandages. They stick better especially with the above tip. Compound Benzoin Tincture would probably help butterfly bandages stick better too.

Steri-stips are not a good substitue for stitches on deep wounds that need internal stitches, or areas subject to movement. In those cases you probably need stitches.

I carry small amounts of Compound Benzoin Tincture, steri strips, Provodine Iodine, super-glue, and antibiotic ointment in my pack.

Often, wound closure is better done with these special strips. Not a band-aid. Not a butterfly closure. A different tool all together. Properly administered (study up!) these are fantastic for certain wound treatment needs.

my kid has stitches on his head, this is the product that doctor use, so I bought some online. it's stick enough to stay on but won't tear the skin when you take it off。it's breathable, so the skin won't get irritate.

What is there to say? It's the most economical place to buy steri-strips. This things are a lifesaver when you use blades as often as I do. They're 1/2" wide, and can easily be cut to half that if you want to ration them out.

Use them quick enough and you can prevent the need for stitches and prevent scarring. These things are great.

I wish I could get 1 box instead of 3 but it's still cheaper than buying the equivalent at a local drug store. I bought this to replace a foot long flat bandage covering a hip surgery scar, so I could make a new bandage after my daily shower. I could not locate the hospital grade bandage pads with the thin plastic sheet that keeps draining scars from sticking to the bandage, but fortunately my scar stopped draining, so this stuff did OK keeping the wound site clean and abrasion free. Each roll comes in a sealed container so they should keep from drying out for many years. This stuff was easy to work with, had no loose fibers so I guess it's OK for a variety of applications. I even cut small pieces of it and make my own band aids for blood draw site compression bandages, blisters, and when my cat gets her claws into me. which also makes movement more flexible if placed right.

I tryed it before cutting myself as a test

but, hooray, I got one of those inevitable little slices

on one of my fingers this morning, washed my hands after

and it's still firmly on. The non-stick pads don't get

too soaked either; perhaps all of this will stop it from festering

for days.

I get lots of small cuts on my finger tips (I do a lot of low voltage work) and these seem to work better than the regular non-sheer band-aids at staying on and not getting in the way. I haven't had any issues with them falling off even with the stress that bandages get by being on fingers usually.

I was in a local pet store today playing with a golden retriever puppy when he accidentally bit me. He didn't bite on purpose. We were playing tug of war with a rope and his tooth happened to puncture my finger. It bled a lot and i washed it immediately and one of the workers gave me a bandaid to put on it. I didn't realize it at the time, but this bandaid was amazing as far as ability to stay on. I had put it on really tight so as to stop the bleeding, then later realized i needed to loosen it. However, I could not find the beginning of the bandaid to loosen it, it was so securely taped. Finally i gave up as i was out shopping and it eventually stopped hurting. The honeycomb pad was doing an excellent job of absorbing the bleeding that was continuing to trickle. Finally when i got home I knew the bandaid needed to come off so i could put some antibiotic ointment on my finger. I had to get some cuticle scissors and cut the bandaid off. Plus the bandaid really only required one to be sufficient to take care of the problem. When i changed the bandaid at home i needed two of the type i had in order to guarantee it wouldn't slip off. I'm definitely going to get some of these bandaids to keep at home.

I never knew there could be such a difference in bandaids.
