I have a somewhat rare condition called PNE (Pudendal Nerve Entrapment or Cyclist Syndrome) which does not allow me to sit, unless I'm on a toliet seat. That being said, I've tried several things to try and help me to be able to sit, without success. I've found this vinyl ring isn't too bad for short periods, like when I sit on my office (Herman Miller strong mesh) chair, because it moves too much, and wearing pants makes it a bit difficult too, because they bunch up in that area and I find I'm constantly having to adjust the hole/pants. Also, I'm heavier, 165 lbs, so it's a bit small for me.I can sit longer with it if I'm on a flatter harder chair; then it doesn't move. At least the hole in the middle is a bit bigger size; keeps my groin area untouched better than others I've tried. It allows me to eat my lunch and sit down periodically throughout the day when I just can't stand anymore and need a break. The price is right and the quality is pretty good too; might not last forever, but at this price you can afford to buy a few.

Have had this jel in my medicine cabinet for several months and have used it on little burns. Today, I burned the heel of my hand taking a pan out of the oven. Oven had been set at 425 degrees... and that pan was HOT!!! Burn was about 1 1/2" long and 3/8" wide. Immediately got the Burn Jel and slathered it on my burn immediately cooled the heat and the pain. After a while, it had completely absorbed and burn was much less painful. Kept applying the jel through the afternoon and. by evening, there was no more heat and no more pain that's amazing. Have developed one small section with a blister but I'm okay with that..., seems a small thing for such a bad burn. I will always have this burn jel in my medicine cabinet!

Peroxyl helps cut down the time I have canker sores. Anyone who suffers from canker sores knows that even having one for a day less is a miracle. I usually use it once in the morning and once at night during a flareup. Even though the flavor isn't the best (mint mixed with peroxide) I'll sometimes use it before eating to dull the nerves.The rinse doesn't have the burn of alcohol (so your tongue is safe), but you'll feel it clean out your sores. After reading several reviews from different websites, (all positive), I was really looking forward to having found the apparent 'best of the best' products to get rid of canker sores. I suffer from extreme canker sores that are brought on by the simplest of factors from extreme weather changes, sickness, food/acidity sensitivities, and stress. I get perhaps anywhere from 5 to 10 in a single year.Going to the store and spending quite a bit of money on such a small bottle really did make me expect big things. I followed the directions; I rinsed four times a day, once in the morning, twice after I ate, and before I went to bed. However, after every rinsing, I found that nothing really happened. It just burned/tingled, like a regular mouth wash used for breath-freshening. It didn't numb the pain that was caused by the sores in my mouth at the time. Over time, after every rinsing, the pain worsened and the canker sores seemed to 'develop' usually this a term I use when I see a sore is slowly going away. But this time, they seemed to develop into something much more painful than before, to the point where they became 2x bigger than the original size and I could no longer open my mouth or talk. The sores actually opened up and became even more painful to deal with.
So in my case, all this product did was make my breath slightly fresher (I didn't see any 'whitening' or anything like that) but htat's about it. The real reason I bought this product was because I wanted my canker sores gone and I wanted the pain while waiting for the sores to go away to be relieved. This product neither of that and only made my condition worse and also formed another one.
For that, and the outrageous price for such a small amount, I have to rate this one star, but I would give it zero if I could.
Not to say that this won't work for everyone who tries because I've read plenty of reviews that say the opposite...however, it is my duty as someone who has tried this product that it won't work in ALL cases.

I purchased this product last night and couldn't believe how fast it soothed the pain! It's only temporary but then I just rinse again and I am once again relieved! It's so soothing! I just rinse so I don't have to hit the "right" spot. Other products are too harsh. Zilactin-B stings and is a mess! It makes it look like I got in a bar fight and can get worse if split open. Canker covers are gross and way too thick! Why are they so thick?!! Kanka was my previous go to for mouth sores, but it hurts with application then numbs everything it comes in contact with (especially the tongue!) and if I sleep with it on I would wake up with lips like Angelina Jolie's but they look all weird and crooked! Anbesol does the same thing except it doesn't last as long! Blistex is also very soothing. I would use it with Peroxyl for times when you can't rinse your mouth out. I also alternate with warm salt water which in my opinion heals the fastest. I don't know how fast this will heal my sore, but I am very optimistic giving how I feel just the next day! I have heard if you bite your lip and rinse with Peroxyl, it will prevent the canker sore from forming. I am very excited about this prospect as this happens to me often! Oh and you can eat after using Peroxyl! It will even help numb it enough to eat without ruining the taste of your meal! Amazing product!

Elgin Archxerciser Foot Strengthening Device : Great for Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spur Syndrome
I ordered this strengthening device for my father. He suffers from planter fasciitis. He was amazed at the difference it made. He says he can now get up in the morning and walk without pain in his arch. He would recommend this product to anyone with the same problem.
No one thing will cure plantar fasciitis--I use it along with orthotics, daily stretches and a night splint. This is not a quick fix, but I have seen a slight improvement in the relief of my PF. Best of luck to you.Like others have said, this machine is basically a big toe only version of towel crunches (an exercise in which you put your foot on a towel and curl your toes repeatedly, which pleats the towel). The advantage over towel crunches is a little more range of motion is allowed in the toe flexion direction. Unfortunately, most people have adequate big toe flexion, it is big toe extension that is lacking and necessary for walking and other activities.
The primary muscles this machine exercises are your extrinsic big toe flexor muscles (the ones in the calf), which actually do not contribute that much to arch support and would have little impact on plantar fasciitis. Exercising your extrinsic big toe flexor muscles will do little for heel spurs (bony protrusions in the heel) as well.
The muscles of the arch that you primarily want to focus on are the intrinsic muscles (the ones in the foot itself). These include the lumbricals and the interossei.
In order to strengthen these muscles, it is helpful to know a little anatomy. The arch of the foot can be thought of as having three points: one at the heel, one at the base of the big toe and one at the base of the little toe. When these three points spread out, your arch collapses. When they are brought together, your arch rises.
A better exercise for strengthening the arch is to stand so that those three points of your foot are in solid contact with the ground and then try to bring the points closer together and hold it for about 15-20 seconds, then relax. Repeat until your arches feel fatigued. Visualizing can help a lot here.
Don't strain too hard in raising your arch. If you strain to hard, you will begin to recruit the extrinsic muscles of your foot in addition to the intrinsic muscles. A good way to tell if the level of effort you are giving appropriate is if the near segment of your big toe is pressed flat to the ground but the far segment has not started to curl under or make the knuckle of the big toe rise. (The far segment of your big toe is controlled by extrinsic muscles while the near segment is controlled by intrinsic muscles.)
I hope that was understandable and that it helps some of you.I bought an Archexerciser a few months ago when I developed a case of plantar fasciitis. I used it daily for several weeks, diligently following the included instructions, but found it to be no help whatsoever in treating my PF symptoms. The exercises may seem like a good idea in theory, but in practice they are nearly irrelevant to treating plantar fasciitis.
The flaws with the device are twofold: 1.) the spring is extremely weak and provides only minimal resistance, so doing 10-20 (or even 100) contractions with the toes feels like no exercise at all. 2.) Even if the resistance were high enough, the movement only activates the toe flexors (which are actually located under the large muscles of the calves) and not the small stabilizing muscles in the arch of the foot itself. These muscles are better strengthened by doing 'foot doming' exercises:
If you want do exercise your toe flexors for other reasons, a much cheaper solution is simply scrunching a towel on the floor. You can add some weight on top of the towel to increase the resistance if necessary.I like running and I have completed a few marathons in the past few years. Recently I have had pain in the ball of my feet. I got this device and a few other items and I do believe the pain is vanished after about 2 months of use (for now anyway).

If you're a fan of Babinski and Queen's Square style reflex hammers, and you don't happen to have a custom white coat to accommodate the extra-long handle (which is necessary to get reflexes well!), then this is the best thing out there. Collapsible so it fits, extendable so it actually works. The only flaws are its cost (it's a few dollars more than the other types) and the swivel head, which forces you to orient it correctly so it doesn't get bent when you elicit the reflex.But unless you want to shell out for a Tromner hammer, this is the way to go for portability in a good hammer!
