First Aid Blood Stopper Compress Multi-Purpose Wound and Trauma Dressing
For home use nothing beats these. Easy to use, just cram one on a wound, two if it's big, wrap the ends and tie in place. Most first patch dressings are done dirty, just to stop the bleeding. These go right over clothes, go on without tape, go on one handed and will fit anywhere.)
Small size, soft packaging, good dressing and more versatile than a kerlix.
Not for backpacking though
But... unrolling it in the mud, dirt etc it's going to flop all over, little elastic means it's a s-rolled kerlix that needs reinforcement or ACE to pressure it, the lack of a water and snag proof outer cover means every twig and berry in the woods will be stuck to it in minutes.
If your not grizzly Adams and just want a good trauma dressing thats cheaper than and less complicated than a millitary dressing this is for you! This is a good multipurpose bandage/dressing for a home or office first aid kit, and I know of some fellow EMT's who use it as well. Basically, it comes packaged as a rolled-up fabric material with a 5x9 non-adhering pad attached. The fabric works as either an absorbent dressing, or a bandage depending on what you need. This is nice because it makes it multi-purpose: for a serious bleed you can leave it rolled up and you have a ton of absorbent material; I'd wager that this product would soak up at least as much blood as a roll of standard gauze. This saves you from having to constantly slap on more 4x4 pads as they soak through, which is the traditional way. Alternatively, you can unroll it and you have a 5x9 pad for abrasions or burns, and you can then use the unrolled material to bandage or secure a splint.
For life-threatening bleeds, I'd still prefer that every kit have a CAT tourniquet and a couple packets of a hemostatic (QuickClot, etc). But those products are expensive, and realistically (and unfortunately) most homeowners and companies are not going to spend $100 on a first aid kit that they think they'll never use. This product, at about $2.50 apiece, is still a vast improvement over the "band-aids and aspirin" which you usually find in the typical pre-made kit, and which are downright useless for serious trauma.
All in all, it's a very good product which can potentially replace several others in a trauma bag or first aid kit.

These kits will take care of many bleeding emergencies, but one thing you need to know is that there is no coagulants on the bandage itself. It is a trauma bandage, no doubt about it, but there's no blood clotting agents or anything on it. It will can save a life no doubts, so long as you know what your doing.Read Best Reviews of First Aid Blood Stopper Compress Multi-Purpose Wound and Trauma Dressing Here
In case of emergency or accident is likely to find victims with severe bleeding or open wounds, which can lead to rapid blood loss, the first minutes can make a difference while professional help arrives. Therefore this product can help you prevent further tragedy occurs. It is indicated to help control or reduce the bleeding, cover the wound while applying pressure or once the bleeding has been stabilized.
It comes very well packed, sterility and hygiene are visible and easy to check.
The dressing comes with straps on the back, which allow the dressing can be secured and firmly fixed on a specific area (limbs, torso or head), if desired, which is vital in case of multiple wounds or if necessary to help several people at once.
Indespensable product at home or anywhere we can keep it handy and use it when needed. (Which nobody wants)
The price and quality are very good, which makes me feel very confident and happy to have acquired this set of three individual pieces.
In fact I put one of the three parts in addition to my personal first aid kit, which I always carry with me and the other two remaining parts to keep them at home, but given its very useful I will buy more to distribute to my friends and my loved ones, because in my country is not possible to find the product.
I recommend this product again to add it to your first aid or emergency kits.It is a piece that could mean the difference between life or death.

I use this produce daily to cover a patch used for Rx purposes and can honestly say that I love them they remove a little more skin at times than their original brethren but I imagine that is a personal skin issue. I warn consumers to check prices on this particular product $50-60 is a good price but this product can go to $100 or more. Caveat emptor
Graco Nasal Clear Nasal Aspirator
So the bottom line: Is it a must-have? No, I don't think it's more effective than the bulb. Is it nice to have? Yes, I don't mind having it to resort to for certain types of colds in addition to baby being okay with having it in his nose. Should you buy it? Depends on how much you need your twenty bucks. Lastly, clean up is probably more sanitary because of the pieces pulling apart, but it is definitely something you want to clean as soon as your done using it.Our daughter was constantly getting a cold in the winter, so we were endlessly having to clear out her nose, which she hated. We would rinse out the bulb aspirator after each use, but when I got a whiff of the inside of that thing one day, I nearly puked!
One day I found this inexpensive option at Wal-Mart. The first few times, she was unsure, but once she saw how it made her feel, she truly doesn't mind it. I wasn't totally impressed at first because I just felt like it wasn't sucking enough. But when my husband read the directions, it tells you sometimes, if the mucus is thick, you need to suck in a little water in between suctions. When you do that, it works perfectly! As gross as it is, the water flushes out the loose boogers and they go straight to the clear cup.
We loove this gagdet, and I suggest all the people who complain about the suction try using the water!

When I read the description for this, it said that this aspirator was safe for infants and I wondered whether it would be strong enough for my son, who is a few months from age 3. It does have pretty good suction and works well, even on a toddler. There are 2 tips and the larger tip fits him and I think would still fit him when he's years older. The music function didn't work at first, but it just started working after a few uses although that function doesn't really interest me.As an infant, my son was in the hospital and they had this great aspirator that attached to suction coming from the wall. I wanted something like that but I was wary of those suction devices that work with your vacuum cleaner just too noisy and risky to me. So this was the only other option I could find and I couldn't find any reviews for it. But I got it anyway and I'm happy with it. It is easy to clean and removes snot well. I would recommend anyone using this on their child to use saline drops first to loosen the mucus...otherwise the constant suction on something that has thickened would probably be painful for your kid. The saline also makes it a lot easier to remove the mucus. I think if you think the suction isn't strong enough, you should use some saline and then the stuff should come out.
It does have a little noise with it which infants might not like, but maybe the music helps with that. It sounds kind of like a vibrating cell phone. My son isn't bothered by it and even likes using it at times. I don't think it removes stuff that you couldn't already get with a traditional nose sucker though, it just is faster you don't have to keep sucking and squirting like you do with a regular sucker.
One thing I've found after using this for a few months is that if there is a period when you have to use it frequently (your child has a cold or flu), you will find that you need to change the batteries after several days (say, a week or so). The suction power does decrease with use, so to get good suction a fresh set of batteries helps.Wish the hospital would have supplied us with this little gem instead of the bulb. Our daughter picked up a cold at Christmas then developed an inner ear infection that we could not get rid of. We had to use the bulb aspirator regularly for the past months, which she hated. She ended up with ear tubes, but now the fluid is draining. We opened the musical snot sucker package today and she actually giggled when we aspirated her nose. It has amazing suction too. What a waste of time and money! My son has been congested for a week now and I am dying for anything to help him breathe better and eat better, as nursing as very challenging when a baby cannot keep suction due to a stuffy nose. We got this product home popped in brand new batteries, put saline drops in his nose to loosen the mucus and tried it out, this thing was worthless...it couldn't even get the bats hanging out in the front of the cave, needless to say it didn't clear any snot from his sinuses. The only thing this aspirator managed to suck, was money out of my wallet, I wish I could give this zero stars. Worthless!

Other reviewers have mentioned how small these are. I have nobody to blame but myself for that, but one thing I didn't think about is that the smallness of the package also means they don't have enough material inside to stay cold for very long maybe 5 minutes max.On top of that, about a third of them so far are absolutely impossible to activate. The inner package simply will not burst. So far, I've thrown away three out of the nine I've tried. And I've got a pretty good grip.
Next time, I'll try a different size/brand.

The cold packs are really hard to pop the inner core to release substance that makes them cold. I had to get a dad from our team to break it for me. I guess its good that they don't break in the gym bag but I should be able to pop them without getting a man to do it. Just sayin'.Want Dynarex Instant Cold Pack, 4 Inches x 5 Inches, 24-Count Discount?
The problem with the instant cold pack is not that it doesn't get very cold instantly after activation, but the length of time it maintains its icy coldness. It's about 5 minutes and frankly, if you have pain or swelling that you are attempting to address, this doesn't do it. Seller should indicate in product specifications how long it is cold after activation.ADC Adsafe Face Shield, Foil Pack, 10/pkg 4055-10

This is a great way to tuck a CPR mask into a small space like a wallet. We bought them for our Home Health Clinicians. Just as adequate as the more expensive pocket barriers, such as key chain versions, but a lot less space consuming. The only drawback is that the nurses are a bit embarrassed to carry them in their wallets because they do look exactly like condoms at first glance...! Very economical but good quality.Want ADC Adsafe Face Shield, Foil Pack, 10/pkg 4055-10 Discount?
I purchased several emergency CPR face shields from amazon, and found this one the least desirable. The good part is that each one is individually sealed in a flat, compact, portable, convenient size, along with coming 10 in a box. The bad part is, the face shield barrier, does not create proper protection. The filter will not properly protect a caregiver, EMT, FD, or PD from disease or when the patient throws up. It is however, better than nothing. I do not recommend this product if you need PPE barrier protection between you and the patient. Clever idea, but not safe. I thought the features of this product would make it superior. For examplethe Gel for comfort and the design of the front cover to provide stability. I found it was very easy to slide off sideways because the front cover height is so high and the Gel covering material is a low friction type. I tightened the straps as much as possible but the problem remained. I ended up using my old foam knee pads again. I still think these ProFlex knee pads could be a great product with a small amount of re-engineering.Want ProFlex 347 Long Cap Honeycomb Gel Knee Pad, Black (2 pads per pack) Discount?
I was about to give a 5 star rating for these knee pads, recommended it for my friends, but after 1 month using it, the gel moved and there is no protection at all. I install wood flooring and spent 8 hours per day on my knees, I bought these based on the good reviews, and I wish it had a good durability, unfortunately after just 1 month using it, I'm looking for a new pair of knee pads.DETACH AND GO PILL BOX

I have other pill boxes, but not as big or nice as this.I got two of these to take each day off as needed. Great idea but they come apart too easily on a slide type thing. I work out a lot, and a sniff of these gives a huge boost. The ammonia gas irritates the mucous membranes, raising blood pressure and heart rate, and will cause you to breath faster. Basically gives you a ton of energy. When I'm playing basketball, especially multiple games in a row, using one of these will get me totally torqued. So I am a mild prepper. What I mean by that is I want to be able to take care of my family if we had such a thing as an earthquake. This bag was a great addition to our preps. If someone got hurt it has way more first aide than I can use and comes with more items than I know how to use. The tactical bag was a great compliment if I have to take it with us for any reason. They're pretty much what you'd expect quality, fabric bandages that feel good, stay put (even when wet) and if you forget to replace them regularly, they start to smell a little foul.
Would recommend, especially for the price. I'm using them as a foundation of a first aid kit and, with kids that love wearing them, at least I won't go broke when all 10 fingertips have a bandage on them.

The bandages arrived in perfect condtion in three separate boxes of 100 bandages each. They have been distributed around the house to the needed locations and have solved, for the moment, the problem of running out of bandages. The individual bandages are easy to open and apply with the flexibility one would expect from a fabric bandage. To this point they have done a perfect job of protecting the wounded area and have shown no tendency to come off or curl up. We are completely pleased with these bandages and can recommend them without hesitation.

Classy Kid Inc. Boo-Boo Rescue First Aid & Bravery Kit
On top of giving him a fun bandage, he gets a bravery sticker and mom gets an appreciation sticker. It also comes with Antibiotic cream packets, Cold pack, 72" Gauze roll, Gauze pads, Tweezers, a Toy stethoscope and the case is really cute. LOVE IT!!!I ordered this kit and received a very small version without anything but a few bandaids stickers and gauze pads.... There is no reason to leave a star, except my son liked the little case....
I, however, am totally disappointed.

May 2nd, 2012:Like the 1 star reviewer, I also mistakenly received the mini version. I purchased 2 of this kit from amazon seller Moore86 (Moore for less) and received 2 miniatures today. When I emailed them and pointed out their mistake (which was clear to me since I had ordered the larger kit in the past from amazon, same page, same product) they were extremely prompt in responding and very polite, and refunded my money just a few hours later. They also let me keep the small kits at no charge.
The miniature version is easy to tell from the real thing. It is less than 1/5 of this kit. It treats around 52 cuts (and says so on the back), while this one treats 256. The small kit of course has none of the extras that make the kit fun (like the "booboo juice" that kids love, or the toy stethoscope to provide destraction). I'm glad to have the small kits to put in my purse, but annoyed at the long process to get the real kits, so overall my experience is a wash. Regardless, I am grateful I do not need to return the small kits and impressed with the seller. They dealt with their mistake beautifully, and I would shop with them again.
Another key to telling the kits apart is the smaller kit does not have the word "bravery" in it--instead it says "family kit."
The kit itself, the real "bravery" one, I used for the past two years and finally need to replace it as many pieces are used up, missing or out of date. I would give it a solid five stars for use with kids, just because it provides distraction and a bit of fun when they feel like crying, and they come to trust that the "booboo juice" doesn't hurt (and I am happy with it because it makes it easy to clean scraped knees when we are not near a sink). Based on the reviews, it is actually getting the kit that is the problem. I'm going to try to buy it again today with two new (and different) vendors and I will update my review when they arrive.
May 4th, 2012:
I received my order, one from "eyesacrosstexas" and one from "A Second Read." Both are the miniature, 52 boo-boo kits as well. I emailed both of the sellers, and they emailed me back today and promised to issue a refund through amazon payments, and they both let me keep the small kit. They were both really nice sellers and fast responders.
I ordered two kits for a third time, hopefully the final time, from "Merchandise 4 Less." In order to avoid the entire process again, as soon as I placed my order I emailed them and asked them to check their inventory to ensure that they are shipping the right product. Their response was prompt and reassuring, and they said, "Our kit is the real thing, exactly as described, stethoscope and all, treats over 265 boo-boos. It comes shrink wrapped from the manufacturer, unopened and never tampered with. You have come to the right place."
I highly recommend this kit, but I also recommend contacting the seller as soon as you place your order to ensure that it is indeed the "bravery" kit that treats 256 injuries.
Getting two of these kits was almost more trouble than it was worth, but hopefully my persistence straightens the issue out for other customers. In the end, all the sellers were very nice and I got four free miniature kits for my trouble, so I can't complain! :)
