small and compact(the size of a condom)and will be owrth more than gold when you need it. the only emergency equiptment that is any good is what you have on you when bad things happen and it's easy to have on you when you need it. not only for personal prodection but the large plastic sheet also allows you to close a torn open cheek that may leek air which a pocket mask will not do, not to mention most people won't be carrying a bulky pocket mast when they need it. buy a box and put one in all your cars, wallets and hand bags. i reccomed opening one up to be familiar with it first.

The CPR face shield was just what we wanted for the price for a backpacking first aid kit. -RGH

These were purchased for our camp's counsellors. I like that the shields are small enough to be easily carried in just about anything. They were cheap enough to afford extras for rotating staff or the occasional lost pouch.

This is a great way to tuck a CPR mask into a small space like a wallet. We bought them for our Home Health Clinicians. Just as adequate as the more expensive pocket barriers, such as key chain versions, but a lot less space consuming. The only drawback is that the nurses are a bit embarrassed to carry them in their wallets because they do look exactly like condoms at first glance...! Very economical but good quality.

I purchased several emergency CPR face shields from amazon, and found this one the least desirable. The good part is that each one is individually sealed in a flat, compact, portable, convenient size, along with coming 10 in a box. The bad part is, the face shield barrier, does not create proper protection. The filter will not properly protect a caregiver, EMT, FD, or PD from disease or when the patient throws up. It is however, better than nothing. I do not recommend this product if you need PPE barrier protection between you and the patient. Clever idea, but not safe.
