The BD Alcohol Swabs are the best pre-lancing wipes for diabetics that I have found. The wipes are individually foil wrapped and, while small in size, are very thick. They hold a lot of alcohol, doing a great job cleaning and sterilizing the testing site.

So I thought if I bought this unwieldy version and cut down the length, it would work and fit in my white coat. But cutting it changes the arc of swing plus it looks unprofessional. So the un-shortened version is fine if it's staying in an exam roomnot good for carrying around. The telescoping one has its own problems: it telescopes too easily. So I haven't found the best one yet.

I Ordered it and came unbroken unlike the previous one i ordered with my class. It looks good and functional.

I have these band aid assorted kits for my home and they have been very useful and provide a variety of bandages for my needs. The issue here is that this kit is pricey especially if you include shipping costs and this can be found cheaper elsewhere.

The set comes with 3 larger than I thought plastic "Pods" each with great fabric band aids of 4 different sizes. My thought for these now that I have received them is to add some alcohol wipe, a small tube of Polysporin and a few packets of Aspirin/Tylenol. However, small enough for the center counsel of a car or under the back seat, Tradesman's bag, crafters bag, etc. The only disappointment was one of the pods does not close as it should. That said, I figured I would keep that one at home in a kitchen drawer. The small bonus pack is perfect for a backpack, large purse, etc.

POISON IVY CLEANER, TECNU, oak-n-ivy, 4oz bottle

My mom use to use this on me as a kid when calamine lotion didn't do the trick. I am less allergic to poison oak and ivy now, i still am allergic, but it does not spread as bad.

I got poison oak last weekend and I turned to this old fave. I use it as a lotion, and also as a wash. It does help it heal super fast, and helps it immediately stop itching. after i wash this off i follow up with aveeno anti-itch cream. Ahhh!!! There is never relief when you have poison oak, but this stuff REALLY works.

I have used this product successfully for several years for poison ivy. I scrub it on and let it sit for at least five mins then rinse off. I find that it works. Well tonight the dog got skunked badly! I was desperate. I grabbed Tecnu because if it worked for poison ivy oil it should work for skunk oil. Boy it worked like a charm. I did not even have to use the whole bottle. I just rubbed it all over the dog. I let it sit for a few then rinsed him with the garden hose. He smelled much much better. Then it worked on my hands which were pretty skunky by then. Thank you God for this product!!!! It saved me tonight!

This is great stuff. I have used it for years and it has saved me from many incidents of terrible rashes. If you use at the early stages of reaction, it stops the spreading and dries up what is already there. It has worked for other kinds of allergic skin reactions to other plants as well. It is something I always want to have around.

It works. I am very allergic to poison ivy. If I use it immediately after contact, I will not get a rash. This product has changed how poison ivy affects me. I am very sensitive and I use it often, if I feel any kind of itch. I sometimes get small patches, but no more all-over, mind bending cases.

I heard about this product from a friend that said it was used to decontaminate people exposed to radioactive materials. I thought, "I gotta try this." So I did and it's grrrreat! I used it after clearing a bunch of poison ivy from my woodline, with a weedeater. My shins and ankles were exposed to a ton of poison ivy spray. I used this product as directed on the label and didn't even get a breakout. It prevented me from getting a rash! This stuff is amazing!

These are not true compression socks at all! They are just a nice pair of $8 socks. The other reviews must not be familiar with true compression hose/socks. These are no good. Spend a extra $10 or $15 dollars and buy the real thing. I rarely review anything because I'm too lazy to type, but money is really hard to come by these days and I don't want anyone wasting their money.

I was wearing TED hose to work to keep my legs from aching after a long stretch of standing on cement floors all day. The TED's drove me crazy because of the hole in the toe area. The TED's also would leave impressions below my knees and would slip down causing me to be constantly pulling them back up. I searched and searched for compression stocking that would give the same support as the TED's but would be more comfortable. Finally I stumbled on to these socks that did the trick. They stay up, don't cause ridges in my legs and are very comfortable. I have long legs but these socks come up high enough to reach below my knees. They are "one size fits all" so I can see where they may be tight on anyone who has large calves. I bought three pairs and plan to order more in black to wear with my jeans.

Other reviewers have crabbed about these not being REAL compression socks. The packaging says right on them LIGHT compression socks. They have the fabric feel of dress socks, so if you are really a nurse you'll want to wear regular socks over them for all day comfort.

I got these because my last pregnancy left me with some vericose and spider veins on my left shin/ankle. They were starting to ache on days I was on my feet. These socks really help! My veins are not to the point I need the granny-type compression socks so these were perfect!

ON the sizing, I wear a size 10 womens shoe and they fit my feet perfect and came as high as 2" below the knee. I am also 5'9". If I had a smaller foot these would NOT be for me since they are not designed like nylons but have an actual foot shape with heal.

I also have an athletic build, if my legs were bigger they might be unconfortable at the very top where the bind-off is tighter than the rest of the sock.

For me they are perfect and I wear them all the time. I bought a black pair and a white pair.

If you are a woman, do NOT buy these socks! They were designed for a large foot. I wear a 7.5-8 shoe, and while these socks were tight (adequate compression), they were extraordinarily uncomfortable. If I wore them so that the heel of the sock fit my heel, there was way too much sock that I had to fold up in the toe of my shoe and the stockings ended at a very uncomfortable place just below my knee. If I wore them so that they fit my foot, the stockings ended just above my knee and were, again, extraordinarily uncomfortable, cutting off my circulation. Wish that I had not bought this product.

this is paper tape so it is very gentile on the skin. This brand has the least sticky adheasive of the brands I have used, so it is perfect for me. If you need stronger adheasive paper tape type the 3M brand, the next step is cloth tape, but cloth tape is so sticky that it will hurt your skin.

I have tried all kinds of paper tape and I like Johnson & Johnson paper tape because it does release easily from the skin. The people I care for have very fragile skin and peeling off tape every day can really wear it out. This tape holds well (they are pretty sedentary) and releases easily. It's easier to replace tape on dressings than repair skin lesions.

Worst. Tape. Ever. Tried to use it to bandage a post operative wound on my leg. Doesn't sitck at all! I would have been better off using Scotch tape! Ridiculous.

This tape sticks securely to my skin, yet release at the end of the day. It does not stick well to itself, so you must take that into consideration when deciding how to use it. The 3M Nextcare tape does not release well and actually tore my skin when removing it. It also leaves adhesive residue on my skin.

This is the only thing to get cat urine smell out of the carpet. My cat got stuck in a room and the door got shut on him (sneaky little bugger). Must have peed 90 times in that spot it was so bad. I tried everything at pet stores and on amazon, but this finally did it. I was very nearly going to burn the house down and call it a total loss. :-)

Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)rts hydrogen and 2 parts oxygen. What makes it so special is the oxgen. When it comes in contact with organic compounds (anything with carbon in it), it will release oxygen, thereby oxygenating the substance. Most of us know that H2O2 is a good disinfectant, and this is because it oxidizes the bacterial germs, killing them or rendering them harmless. Thus, H2O2 makes a very good skin disinfectant, makes a good mouthwash, will disinfect toothbrushes, cutting boards, sink basins, etc. It is great for getting blood out of clothing, and works on other organic stains as well. It deoderizes anything it comes in contact with. As a dentist, I have prescribed this for patients with gum disease 3-4 rinses with flossing each day. Gum disease organisms die in the presence of H2O2. It can be scrubbed on the tongue to eliminate tongue discoloration and odor.

In contrast to chlorine bleach, H2O2 is non-corrosive, can be used on the body, and is not harmful to septic tanks as well. I am sure there are many hundreds of uses for this simple compound. Best of all, it is cheap. Most stores have this size bottle for about a dollar or less.

Have a bottole on hand for when the kids tip their kool-aid on the carpet. H2O2 works about as well as anything on that.

It is hydrogen peroxide. It arrived without a leak and a reasonable expiration date. It is a good product to use for cleaning off scrapes.
