(#1 REVIEWER)I always have a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide at home. It has so many uses! I use 50% solution of water and H.P. almost daily to clean my toothbrush. Sometimes I use the same solution to brush my teeth. It whitens the teeth well, although it does not taste great. However a little rinse with water fixes the after taste.I used to use Hydrogen Peroxide for scrapes as well. Recently I fell and got a pretty nasty gash on my shin (4 inch by 0.25 inch). Because I was traveling I did not treat the wound as well as I should and got an infection. In a few weeks when I had to see the doctor to treat the infection, I asked what I should have used to clean the wound to avoid the problem next time.
Surprisingly, the doctor told me that Hydrogen Peroxide should not have been my first choice. The doctor said that H.P. does clean but also damages the healthy tissue and this prolongs healing. The doctor said that studies show that the best way to clean the wound is with plenty of plain water and soap and pressure on the wound to remove the debris. Hydrogen Peroxide should only be used if there is no access to clean water. So it should be in your emergency kit when you hike but not your first choice if there is access to soap and water.
Hope this helps someone to avoid a slow healing infection.

I use hydrogen peroxide to kill algae in my planted aquariums, and I have really enjoyed having a case of it on hand so I can use it whenever I want without running to the store all the time. I have a couple of large tanks, and a full tank treatment can easily take 1/2 to 3/4 a bottle. Ordering it online and having it shipped to my door saved me a lot of time and trouble.The bottles I received were different from what is pictured, but I'm still very happy with them. What I received are squared shaped which allows them to take up less space than round bottles. Otherwise, the bottles are just like any other hydrogen peroxide bottle.
Note that the bottles contain 16oz each which may be smaller than what is normally seen in your local drug store. It's best to price it out by ounces, not per bottle, to determine if the price is competitive. I think this cost more than buying it locally, but I got it for convenience, not price.I bought these thinking I would be able to get it cheaper online. But I stopped by my local CVS store and CVS had their own brand of Hydrogen Peroxide at 3%, but with a larger volume of 32 oz for much cheaper than buying it online.
So I would suggest stopping by your local CVS store to buy their brand before buying them here on amazon.

I bought a case of this for some corrosion testing we are doing in our plant. We combine the peroxide with salt and water and submerge plated parts. The smaller bottles are much easier to store than a gallon jug. No complaints yet.

i first found Burn Stuff at the local drug store after burning myself on the iron. the burn pain relief was swift and the antiseptic aided in a cleaner, quicker, pain free healing. rather than a soft white blister that peeled and exposed tender skin, my skin became dark and firm, almost like a calus that eventually peeled off with no sensitivity. after a few years when i was running low, i had to order online as local stores no longer carry the product. the only downside is the product is expensive. Perhaps if the product was packaged in one larger tube instead of individual tubes, it could be less expensive, but perhaps the effectiveness degrades after hitting the air. i have tried placing the remainder of the open tube in a ziplock, but it did not work as it either dried up or became ineffective.however, it is rare to find a product that works better than expected which makes it worth my money.

Ace Ace Splint Wrist Brace Reversible One Size Adjustable
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My family tends to make use of several brace/bandage type products. These are typically for injuries related to sports activities (soccer, lacrosse, cheerleading, etc.). Typically, we will use an Ace or Futuro product.As far as this Ace Splint Wrist Brace, here is what it is, and is not:
* It is advertised as being reversible, and it is. It comes in the package set up for right-handed use. To change it to left-handed use, simply pull the splint from its pocket, turn over the brace, and slide the splint back in.
* The brace is advertised as "One Size Adjustable." I think this is somewhat of a misnomer. It is indeed adjustable. This is easy to do, and it will expand/contract from 5 ½" to 8/12" inches at its smallest point (your wrist). The problem is when you say "One size" I think people assume it is one size fits "all", or at least "most." In the case of this brace, I would say if you are an adult female and are anywhere from petite to a little above average size, you should be fine. If you are male, if your hands/forearms are anything beyond average size, this might be uncomfortable/tight fit. As an example, I am of average height, and my wrist is a little over 8 ½", and the brace barely fits.
As far as comfort, it is a brace after all, in essence a sleeve with fasteners and a metal splint, so it will feel somewhat constrictive when on. While something that fits loosely is usually more comfortable, if a brace is loose, it simply won't work.
Construction-wise the brace is nice. It is non-latex and breathes very nice so you won't feel overly warm, or sweaty, with it on. It has three hook/eye fasteners to secure it. The inside of the sleeve is not rough. In fact, its quite comfortable against your skin.
The brace is NOT machine-washable, nor should it be tumble-dried or dry cleaned. Ace recommends washing by hand with warm (not hot) water and mild soap, then allowing it to air dry.
I find the brace provides more support for sprains CTS than does a plain Ace bandage.
All in all, this is a good product, but keep in mind the size of your hand/wrist when purchasing.
The brace provides good support. It's not like a cast, for sure, but it helps me keep my wrist in a proper position.
One thing that I can't speak to is longevity. I've only had it a couple of months, and I haven't done anything but use it at my computer. That said, it looks like it did on the first day.
A couple of things that I wish were different:
1) I might be pulling it too tight (but I don't think so), but after a while, my fingers tingle a bit because it's restricting blood flow.
2) I can type with it on, but using a mouse is clumsy. So, it helps my wrist feel better, but it makes using a computer more difficult.
For ~$20, I think it's worth trying if you're experiencing wrist pains. I was fortunate and got to try it for free, but now that I have tried it, I can honestly say that I wouldn't be disappointed in it if I'd paid $20 for it.

1) Can be used as a wrist support by completely removing the splint.
2) Can be used as a splint by leaving the aluminum in, and there are 2 slots to put it in so you can use this on either hand.
3) Very nice sturdy neoprene material.
4) 3 tightening straps.

I have 2 small children and I carry them a lot and my wrist sometimes are sore. I also sleep sometimes it the brace because I tend to bend my wrist and can wake up with annoying pain.The quality is really good and this brace fits me and my husband ( 5'6'' 135lb, and 5'11'' 170 lb). It's hand wash and air dry only but my hand did not sweat a lot in it so I don't have to wash it very often.

This First Aid + Burn Cream is a great addition (or really, a foundation) of a first aid kit. The price is great, and this is the same product that comes in many already-configured kits...but this is much cheaper.I ordered mine September 2009, and the expiration of them is April 2012, so these are up-to-date batches, too.
These contain Benzalkonium chloride (0.13%) and Lidocaine HCL (0.5%)...are are labeled "Antiseptic Pain Relief with Aloe."

I have always liked these water filled teethers, they are just really cool and fun to play with, but not so great as a teether for my 4 month old. Like another reviewer said, the edges where it's fused together are sharp and seem sharp enough to be able to cut. This teether is great to chill in the fridge, and I let my daughter chew on it for a couple minutes while I hold it for her and it works to sooth her gums, but I am always afraid to give it to her because the edges are sharp. I think this would be a better teether for a toddler maybe a year or older who can have control of how they chew on it and are less likely to cut their mouth. This teether has sharp edges where the plastic is fused together. It seems sharp enough to possibly cut my son's gums if he bit down on it just right. I'm sure it is fine most of the time but figured when it comes to babies, quality does matter.

I bought this product to use as a natural teeth whitener, and it does a wonderful job. After only 3 times, my teeth are visibly whiter and cleaner. Love it!The capsules are a little hard to open, but I guess that's a good thing for a product intended to be taken as a supplement. To use it to whiten, just open the capsule into a small bowl and use a little bit on your teeth, either dry or mixed with a little water -activated charcoal draws tannins (the thing in tea, coffee and food that stains teeth) and binds with them so when you rinse you're rinsing away tooth stains too. Don't scrub too hard though, as there's a chance it could scratch the enamel on your teeth.

This tape is marketed as a medical tape but I use it for rock climbing. It is excellent for split fingers or for sore finger pads. It is super sticky and has tons of grip when climbing. It was recommended to me by my friend and it is the only tape I use.

I own this kit and I think it's a very good small size for those of us who don't like to carry a 1 pound emergency kit while we hike. There are a lot of items not in here. I supplemented it with tweezers, Pepto Bismol tablets, pain relievers, antiseptic cream, and allergy medicine. I prefer a small size for 2 people, but others may find they need more things.Overall, I've been using this kit for 1 1/2 years and I love the size.

First Aid Ointment - 3 tube pack - 1.5 oz tubes
I had been looking for Johnson & Johnson's First Aid Cream (White Ointment with a topical anesthetic) for what seems like an eternity and jealously guarding the small reserve I have on hand, when I stumbled upon this little gem from Natureplex!Apparently Johnson & Johnson no longer manufactures their product. Probably because of some welcome government regulation saving us consumers from exposure to a product that if we were mice and drank 50 gallons a day of it we would get flatulence! But I digress....
Natureplex hit a home run with this product and I'm RELIEVED I found it! Not only is it as advertised and does what it says, a welcome anomaly in todays' world of hyper-inflated advertising statements, but it's also saving me about 2-3 hours a week of internet search time trying to locate a replacement for a trusted, but no longer available, first aid ointment.
I've used this product a few times now and I'm thoroughly satisfied with the results! Even if Johnson & Johnson started manufacturing their product again I would stay with Natureplex's First Aid Ointment since it is such a superior product and a good value.
