The First Years Learning Curve Floating Stars Teether

The First Years Learning Curve Floating Stars TeetherWARNING!!!! My baby was just gumming this and I noticed the liquid was pouring out all over his shirt! I went to the company website and they do not even have a phone number! They are irresponsible to not have a phone number when they sell baby products. I am worried sick about what the liquid is made out of! The ring is also sharp! A very dangerous teething ring that should be recalled!!!!!

This teether had a strange chemical taste even after I washed it which wouldn't go away. I decided to soak in distilled water overnight which didn't seem to help (just turned the whole toy a cloudy color). It's in the garbage right now.

Do not buy this. After using it for a few months, it burst in my daughters mouth. It's obviuosly scary not knowing what the goo is and if it's harmful or not since she definitely swallowed some. See other reviews and you'll notice I'm not the first person this happened to. I'd advise you to buy a different teether.

I have always liked these water filled teethers, they are just really cool and fun to play with, but not so great as a teether for my 4 month old. Like another reviewer said, the edges where it's fused together are sharp and seem sharp enough to be able to cut. This teether is great to chill in the fridge, and I let my daughter chew on it for a couple minutes while I hold it for her and it works to sooth her gums, but I am always afraid to give it to her because the edges are sharp. I think this would be a better teether for a toddler maybe a year or older who can have control of how they chew on it and are less likely to cut their mouth. But at least it makes a cool toy.

This teether has sharp edges where the plastic is fused together. It seems sharp enough to possibly cut my son's gums if he bit down on it just right. I'm sure it is fine most of the time but figured when it comes to babies, quality does matter.
