Latex-Free Kids and Adult Bandages/Bandaids- Multiple Colored 40 Count Full Size

Latex-Free Kids and Adult Bandages/Bandaids- Multiple Colored 40 Count Full SizeEven though they are latex free, there is a band-aid shaped rash/red mark left on my daughter's skin after these come off. She's three, and bandaids rarely last for more than a few hours so it isn't like she's getting extreme exposure for days at a time. They are stiff and plasticy. I'll stick with the name brand stuff from now on.

I got these at the Dollar Tree and didn't expect much of them. I only got them because my little one always want a band aid even for the smallest, unnecessary, bump. I would let him put on one of these since they were cheap. They fall off pretty easily...maybe within a few hours. And they will slide right off if you get them wet.

Good for when your kid insists on getting a band aid. Bad for actually using to protect wounds.

I've never ordered them from Amazon, I get these actually at my local dollar store... these are unquestionable worth it for a buck... how much would I be willing to pay? Not sure... they will lose their stick in the pool/bath/shower, but for everyday general wear, we've never had a problem and they stick just fine. We've never had any rashes or red marks from using them.

I bought these for three reasons: they don't have cartoon/TV characters on them; they are latex-free; they are colourful so the kids would like them. The only thing they have going for them is the colours. I'm very disappointed in them. They do not stick. They don't stick to skin; they don't even stick to themselves. They most certainly wouldn't stay on if they got wet since they won't stack on dry skin.

There isn't a whole lot to say about these. I bought them for my 2-year-old son as a Christmas present. He obviously loves them and fixes all my boo boos. I haven't actually had one over a cut, but they seem pretty standard. Not too sticky, but good enough. If you want sweat or moisture resistant these are probably not a good choice. If you want to spend under $3 for an awesome Christmas present for a toddler, you have a winner.

Wrap-it Latex Free Bandages, Wrist Wrap, 6 Inch By 12 Inch

Wrap-it Latex Free Bandages, Wrist Wrap, Grape, 6 Inch By 12 InchI ordered this, hoping to hold an ice pack underneath for my wrist. It had no stretch whatsoever. I would not reccommend this size at all

I know this is not an approved usage of this bandage but I use them to wrap piano legs.

I have a couple of puppies that sometime mark the piano legs. I used to wrap the legs with other stuff but they made the piano so unsightly.

These are black and easy to put on and take off.

I put them in the mesh bag designed to wash lingerie in and put them in the laundry.

Works well.

This is the only thing I found that would cure my dry cracking and bleeding hands. Within around a week of use my hands were healed. The active ingredient benzalkonium chloride is just an antiseptic, I can't explain why it works so well, it just does. I haven't found anything else that works the same way. It is not greasy, washes off with water... needs to be applied frequently.

This lotion absorbs into the skin very good, doesn't leave a greasy feeling, and really helps heal dry cracked skin. I have a lot of problems with dry hands during the winter and this really heals and protects it also doesn't have a strong smell like a lot of other lotions.

This stuff works!

It turned my sandpaper hands to silky smooth in one week.

Best part is that its not greasy.

I felt like my fingers were falling apart from being a musician and a lot of household and moving chores.

This is the only thing that ever worked, and I went from looking like my skin was falling off, to healthy hands / fingers in 2 weeks.

There is nothing that compares. Seriously. Had a aerospace mechanic (lacking the right term for what she does, but you get the idea) recommend this to me on FB. She said it was the only thing that kept her hands healthy. I couldn't agree more after using it.

PFI64801 Dramamine Less Drowsy, 8 EA/PK

PFI64801 Dramamine Less Drowsy, 8 EA/PKI can get motion sickness within 5 minutes of being a passenger in a car or bus and non-drowsy Dramamine is the only motion sickness medicine that allows me to feel completely symptom-free and manage to stay awake.

Normal Dramamine works just as well for not getting sick while riding in the car, but I can't stay awake long enough to have a conversation, let alone share in the driving.

I have tried many kinds of motion sickness remedies, including herbal (ginger capsules work fairly well, but not well enough to make me happy)and Non-drowsy Dramamine is, by far, my favorite. Finding it in a store seems to be impossible lately, so I've decided it's worth the extra cost for shipping to have get it from Amazon.

Champion Therma-Kool Hot/Cold Compress

Champion Therma-Kool Hot/Cold Compress, 8' x 10'Years ago when I started experiencing moderate muscle spasms in my lower back the Chiropractor told me to ice my back for 15 minutes on & off which worked so well that I never had to visit him again. I would not use it until I was diagnosed but because my problem was nothing more than spasms it is a must have for me.

The first of June 2011 I,unfortunely, came down with the shingles, which is very painful. I could not find a cold compress anywhere.

Went on the internet and found the Champion Therma cold Compress from Amazon.com. I am into my 10th week still in pain, but the Compress has been my lifesaver for all these weeks.

Climb On! Sunblock

Climb On! SunblockI was looking for a chemical free non-nano sunscreenand was hoping to find one that would blend in enough to wear everydayeven under make up. This one does, and for that reason it's a keeper.

I have terrible photodermatitis and cannot go out in the sun at all without breaking out in a blotchy rash and red welts on my face. I even burn through the car window and under fluorescent lights. Finding a good daily sunscreen was essential, especially because I live in Texas and it's sunny all year round. On top of that, I have super sensitive skin and break out when I even look funny at a chemical. This is the only sunscreen I have ever tried -and I've tried many -that keeps me from burning and doesn't break me out. I even stopped wearing makeup and just use powder over the Climb On -it moisturizes beautifully, and has even given me back my peaches and cream complexion! yaaaayyyy! I cannot recommend this highly enough!

Buy Climb On! Sunblock Now

There is no expiration date printed on any part of the product. I have no idea if the product that is delivered to me has expired or not. So this product unfortunately goes to the trash.

Update: I received an email from the seller about this expiration date issue, wanna share:

"Hello Billur,

I wrote Climb on about their restock dates on their sunscreens, they told me the following:

"Yes, our ClimbOn! SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen has a shelf life of 1 year.

There is no date on the bottle because it is 1 year from date of purchase

(unless we find out the retailer sold very old product, in which case

we take it up with them.) It is 1 year from date of purchase because all of our

products are hand made in very small batches. We never have product older than a

week or two sitting here before being shipped, as a matter of fact product is

regularly made, packaged and shipped all within a couple of days.

Because our product is chemical free with no preservatives or synthetics,

the easiest way to tell if product is "too old" or "bad" is by smell."

I hope that helps you! I can tell you that our inventory at Amazon was purchased May 25th and in inventory around May 31st days later, your order was made on June 28th. So the if the shelf life is about a year it would be approximately 9 months from now. I am sorry for the confusion and ambiguity but perhaps this helps a bit.

Sincerely,"

3M Durapore Surgical Tape - 1' x 10 yds - Box of 12 - MMM15380MMM15381_bxI use this to tape three of my fingers to prevent any skin damage. Easy to use, tears well, does not leave to much adhesive stuck on your hand.

Durapore is an excellent tape that stays put, even on hairy areas. It has a silky feel and look, and strips can be torn by hand. I highly recommend it for anything that really needs to stay in place. Only downside is that the removal can be uncomfortable as it sticks so well...but nothing a little alcohol swab cannot handle or assist with.

Ivy Block Ivy Block Lotion

Ivy Block - 4 ozI am one of those fortunate 1% known as "hyper sensitive". I do not even need to come in contact with the plant to get an urushiol reaction. If a deer brushes past the plant and then sheds fur on the trail, I get it. Dust that gets through my clothes exposes me to it. Allergists across the west coast marvel at my sensitivity. Whoopee. And EVERY TIME I am exposed, I go on meds, or else ruin sheets with three week long oozing. I stockpile Prednisone. I have, therefore, created a system to cleanse myself of the resin as I hike or ride, and it usually works pretty well. I was recently doing some recon on some older trails, and I went through tons of oak, but I did not get any reaction. So I give this product a 4 star rating, as it seems like it did the job, but then, if it works, nothing happens, right? So nothing happened. I assume that it was because of the block, but I don't know for sure. Unlike Technu, it does not smell really wierd, and I think it even has SPF. I have added it to my voodoo ceremony against urushiol, and am optimistic... although I will not even consider ending my proven regimen of cleansing. Still be careful, but this does seem to provide a certain amount of protection. For those of you like me, remember to trust nothing, fully.

My husband and son are highly allergic to poision ivy and so I purchased this for them. We recently went on a hiking vacation in TN and poision ivy was everwhere! They both used the block and for the first time, got to enjoy the outdoors without getting the outbreak from the poision ivy. I would HIGHLY recommend this product. I am planning on buying them more for stocking stuffers for Christmas!

Let's just say, I used this product and my husband didn't. We both pulled poison ivy all morning. I did not get any rash, he did in about four different places, the most annoying was his eyelid....use the product.

I am somewhat sensitive to PI and poison oak -if I brush up against it I will get a rash, but I don't think I've gotten a rash from indirect contact with it. I am also an avid trail runner.

Last year I borrowed some Ivy Block from a friend before setting out on a trail run, and covered myself with the stuff. I had a pretty horrid accident where I tripped on a tree root, fell off a small cliff, and went rolling down a poison ivy-covered embankment. I was pretty messed up: twisted my knee, got some lovely bruises, and got a horrendous gouge taken out of my forearm. But I did not have a single speck of PI rash.

I now go through this stuff like I go through sunblock. Haven't gotten PI since.

I'm extremely allergic, and was excited about this product. I followed the directions on the lable, and applied it 15 min bf I went outside. I put it on with the intent of getting rid of the poison ivy in my yard. Once I started working I noticed that where I applied the lotion on my arms, it started to get warm and burn a little, after about 30 min. of working, the sensation was worrisome. I washed it off and the next day had a light poison ivy rash. It wasn't nearly as bad as it has been in the past, so it does work some, but not completely when in direct contact, and for me, not without some side effect.

Cryopak Flexible Ice Blanket 16.5 x 11.66-Inch (6 Pack)

Cryopak Flexible Ice Blanket 16.5 x 11.66-InchAs a letter carrier in the southwest desert, It gets extremely hot in my mail truck. I use my cryopak in my lunch box to keep my food and water cool, then after lunch I sit on the ice packs, one at a time. They melt relatively fast when it's real hot, but they work really well at cooling off my seat, seeing as I sit all day. Sounds corny but it works for me, and when it is 105 degrees or more I'll try anything.

I thought I would pass along a new to me invention and use for the Cryopak Fex Ice Blanket.

I cut them into long thin stips and roll them in a wet dish towel, like this ==== ====.

Anyway, I pitch the wet towel into the freezer a few minutes before I go out for a run, hike or motorcycle ride. Then I wrap the contraption around my neck and stuff the ends in the front of my shirt. It rests on my carotid arteries in my neck and keeps me much, much more comfortable when it is blazing hot outside.

It also makes me able in quickly recover from what would be a totally overheated condition.

Of course you could accomplish the same thing with ice cubes. What a mess that makes when the cubes melt, not to mention not being inappropriate for women. (Think wet T-shirt contest)

Thanks!

Frank

i confess that i don't actually use this for chilling food but for migraine relief. when i have a migraine attack, the most soothing thing i can do without taking medication (which i often don't want to do either because i get migraines more often than i have pills per month or because i have already medicated two or three days that week) is apply an ice pack to my temples and the surrounding area. i sleep with an ice pack on my pillow often, and these are great. i usually wrap one in a tea towel or other thin towel to keep the condensation away from my skin directly (which would be painfully cold after a while) and feel instant relief as soon as it touches my skin. i just love it. the only thing i wish is that it stayed frozen longer. i've had ice packs before that are just solid and filled with gel that stay partially frozen even until morning. this is thawed a few hours into the night, and sometimes i wake up wanting more cold. but that's a minor complaint. i still use them and would buy them again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I have used this product for many applications for many years. My wife, a retired nurse, has had total knee replacements on both her knees. Post-surgery, icing of the knee to reduce internal swelling, both on the top and on the bottom of the knee, is an important component of rehabilitation and recovery. Two Cryopaks, secured with an ace bandage, fufill this requirement nicely.

Nexcare Nexcare Comfort Flexible Fabric Bandage Latex Free Assorted Sizes

3M 576-30PB 30 Count Comfort BandagesI love Nexcare brand COMFORT bandages. They are somewhat velvety on the exterior and once you have them on for a few minutes they warm up to the skin and then form fit very well. You can actually forget they are on because they feel so natural after a few minutes. They move well on areas that you flex too. They adhere very well to both skin and to themselves if you are taping a finger or toe for example, and they stay on until you are ready to take them off. Best of all, someone finally had the common sense to design the bandage with full coverage around THE SIDES of the gauze area, where you need it, to avoid dust and germs from getting under the bandage and onto the wound. I have always hated that about regular brand bandages. The area around the side had no protection. I would often sacrifice another bandage, cut off the tape ends and then tape over the bandage on the sides to completely protect the wound from germs. Thanks Nexcare, for a great, common sense designed product.

Duracell Size 675 Zinc Air Hearing Aid Batteries (24 batteries)

Duracell Size 675 Zinc Air Hearing Aid BatteriesInitially only received 12 of 24 batteries ordered. They responded quickly and I received the other 12 batteries shortly after. Although the batterries will expire soon, ordered on Jan 27, 2013 and they expire March 2013. If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.

I had used Duracell batteries in my BTE hearing aid for many years, and used to be satisfied with them. Not anymore. The last 24 batteries were the worst yet. Most of them only lasted for one day, and I had to put in a new battery every morning. I switched to a different brand, and they last for six or seven days. I won't be using the Duracell batteries again, because they are much lower quality then they used to be.
