At 38 years old, my husband and I had been thinking about giving up trying to have a child. That night we told ourselves to not get too excited as we scrolled through pictures of our silly attempts at getting our puppy to hold still with the stick. We reminded ourselves that, just in case, we should wait to tell our families...all while trying to come up with original & creative ways to tell them.
That night I went to sleep to the slight glow of my Husband's laptop, he was looking at nursery bedding.
At 9:15am I scrambled out of the shower to answer my cell. It was my Doctor.
I wasn't pregnant.
I just stood there, dripping wet, my mind went blank and my heart dropped.
Telling my Husband that we were not pregnant was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do.
I know we were only "pregnant" for 24 hours and that we didn't lose a child, but we did lose the dream of that child and all of the beautiful things we could have experienced with that child.
I will never use this product again, and I hope that this review helps prevent this from happening to other hopeful couples.

I used this test and was over the moon to see "Pregnant". As others have said, it was so exciting to be able to show it to my husband and not confuse him with lines he wouldn't understand. Unfortunately when I double-checked with other brands later, it turned out I was among those to receive a false positive.Seeing the word "Pregnant" made it seem so much more definitive, "unmistakable" just like the ads say. I wish I'd stuck with the traditional lines and allowed there to be an element of doubt. I completely got my hopes up, I thought it was really happening, I'm glad I only had a few hours of excitement before it was shattered. I understand about false negatives but I had no idea there was a likelihood of a false positive. I'll be sure to temper my excitement next time around.

Witch Hazel Dickinson Astringent Blue Label - 16 Oz
I love this witch hazel and use it as a base for a lot of things. It soothes scalp itchiness, works wonderfully as a toner, I've also used it mixed with tea tree oil and lavender as a natural liquid deodorant and mixed it with citronella oil and lavender as a bug repellent that also works fairly well to clean up hands when my family is out having a picnic.It's also pretty inexpensive. A very nice old fashioned remedy that comes in handy to have in your medicine cabinet!
I quit using and go back to my dickinson oil controlling astringent. this one is the best b/c is astringent contains witch flower extract, controls oil and reduce sizes of pore causing no irritation!
first i thought the TN blue label astingent and dickinson oil controlling astringent are pretty much the same thing, except the blue one is more valuable size. that's why i would give it tried, but i guess blue one doesn't suit for my skin. i got combination oil and sensitive skin. next time when i buy witch hazel product and i have to read the ingredients carefully. ^_^|| now i know the difference b/w dickinson yellow label, blue label and oil controling astrigent.

I started using this product after I saw a review online for good astringents and since I have issues with using certain products on my face. I've got sensitive skin as well so I have to be super careful what products I use to keep them clean. Tried this one after using astringent, and worked wonders! My acne dried up fast! Pair with moisturizer afterwards as it tends to dry the skin. This is the kind of thing you hope you never need, but with wackos out there in increasing numbers, I want something to give my dogs if I suspect poisoning even before I contact the vet.I'm told this is also good for food poisoning and upset stomach.

Redmond Clay is amazing!I cut myself far too frequently while sculpting and unfortunately some of the materials are not "non-toxic". I used to apply Neosporin or Bactine and it would take 1-2 weeks for a cut to heal. I had some powdered Redmond Clay and decided to mix it with water and apply it to a really nasty cut that was getting worse with Bactine.

I had a bad steam burn on my knee, with one of these on my knee only a small blister appeared after a bad burn. We have also used them on the kids for a burn from the stove.
My neighbor suffered a bad burn from starting a fire with gas, which exploded, these probably saved him from having skin grafts. (Even the Docs commented on how well he healed.)
But we used all the gel packs on him (he was bad!) and so ordered a new supply.
This kit gives you all the sizes you should need, unless you have a 'whole body' burn...(they have body size gel packs too.)

This is one of those items that have no competition. I use this container model in my personal truck. It's not bad but I wish the top was a bit better about not allowing sharps to potentially get out. That's the trade off for the smaller size. If you have the outer top clipped closed that's a non issue. Since it's in my truck I don't expect to get high use and if I end up working an accident and adding to it I just swap boxes. One can bathe or swim: Tegaderm (W) keeps any wound totally dry. What more can I say?Just clean the wound and apply gauze to it, peel the backing off the Tegaderm dressing and center over the gauze. There is a small paper frame on the outer edge of the bandage that peels right off after application to the skin. I am so sold on these that I keep several sizes of Tegaderm dressings on hand for any emergency that might arise. I cannot praise this product enough. No more bandages, ever, at my house!
