I teach CPR and First Aid classes and bought these for my son's preschool. They needed first aid kits for each classroom to take when they go on field trips. Each classroom has a larger more complete first aid kit in the room but they needed something portable. These are small, but they fit the essential items with room for keys and a cell phone. The fabric is thin and the zippers are not very durable, so I don't think they will hold up with regular use. But they are very affordable and would make good kits for company disaster teams or schools. Not something that is used every day, or even every week, but for occational use.

This tape has been a lifesaver. I recently had a motorcycle accident and lost several square feet of skin to abraisions. This tape made changing bandages twice a day MUCH easier. It cuts easily with scissors and ESPECIALLY well with a knife. It sticks well to moist (not wet) skin. It holds well even though it is light, thin, and strong. Finally, it can be removed with a minimum of effort WITHOUT ripping off body hair, WITHOUT much pain, and WITHOUT leaving any residue. I have used hundreds of yards of this tape and KNOW what I'm talking about. This tape has been a lifesaver.

This is an excellent product, I recommend, especially for long term use. I used on a site that I had to keep covered for over a month, and it was amazing. It stayed on really well, didn't leave lots of adhesive on my skin, and was very gentle on irritated skin from multiple bandage changes. This is what they used in the hospital on me, and it is very expensive everywhere else, so I highly recommend this product at this price. You can't go wrong!

My "Wound Care" specialist recommended the 3M Micropore Tape for me since I am very sensitive to just about every other tape\adhesive that has been tried in the past. This has been a really good find as after two weeks of use I haven't had any reaction and my condition will likely require use of the tape for several more months.

The tape is strong and holds very well. I like that it is perforated and can be hand torn into convenient sizes at about 2" increments. Like all long term use tapes, it will leave some sticky adhesive residue on your skin when it is removed, but it is fairly easy to remove by gently rubbing the area with a warm dampened washcloth.

We also use Box of 4 3M Micropore Surgical Tape 3" x 10 yds White 3M 1535-03 as well, with the same great results!

I must say that the kit came with a lot and I wanted something more substantial than a regular first aid kit. I did a lot of research and asked nurses and others about some differing first aid and EMT packs. Hypafix® Dressing Retention Sheets - 4 in x 10 yds Roll

after removing the post surgery dressing the day after surgery, i had a bandage on for maybe 8 hours. within that time my skin (on back) began to welt and blister from the adhesive. i called the dr that did the procedure asking about the tape used to secure the post surgical dressing. HYPAFIX! i had to keep a dressing on my wound for over 2 weeks and with hypafix my skin did NOT react in the slightest. even the area that was already damaged from the previous bandage tolerated the hypafix without any additional irritation. oh thank you God for hypafix! if you're like me and have skin that cannot tolerate bandage adhesive, give hypafix a try. i'm sold, and i tell everyone that i know about it. what's really cool about hypafix besides it's non-irritating adhesive, is it's great adhesion and flexability. it's like paper tape, but 100% stronger hold. i've since used it over my thumb, on my hand, and on my hairy chest (ouch pulling off!) and it always stayed in place, even after a workout/sweating. but the real draw here is it's non-irritating adhesive. if you've ever suffered a severe reaction to bandage adhesive you know what i'm talking about. i cannot say enough good things about this product. i've had many surgeries over the last few years and i never worried about the knife, i only worried about the misery of the post surgical bandages i'd have to put on, and the raw skin i'd have after a day or so. now i worry no longer.

I use this to hold various diabetic stuff to my skin (infusion set, tubing, glucose sensor). It's much more comfortable than most medical tapes. Softer, more flexible, and doesn't seem to irritate my skin quite so much.

The only drawback (very minor really) is that you can't tear it like regular cloth tape, you need to cut it.

The first time I took one of these I was feeling pretty well, I had to work in the morning which is difficult for me considering I usually work night shift. So I was joyed as I had a reason to pop one of these babies. I went to work, I had a can-do attitude, I even did extra (even though day shift is generally pretty fast paced where I work) and some-how I maintained a good mood (until the point where I crashed off the caffeine in which case I felt pretty agitated but it could be partly due to the fact that my ride came to pick me up about an hour late.) I used Tear Mender to set (glue) my dog's ears down. This product was recommended to remove the glue. Unfortunately, I played cheap and ordered this size. I didn't realize that the vial didn't just open...you have to break the glass vial! So by the time I carefully cracked the vial open a little and stuck a needle in to suck up the Detachol, I was left with 1/3cc. The product works, but the packaging and small quantity made it useless for me. Now I have to wait and spend more money to order a 0.5oz bottle or larger. This tape was recommended on a web site for taping dog ears. In particular, our puppy's ears lay flat though they should have stood up for the breed. The tape worked well and wasn't too sticky for the job. During play, our other dog did pull the tape off quite a few times so we ended up retaping every couple of days using one roll & part of another even though she is a small breed. We taped breathe right strips into her ears for about 10 days altogether. Removing them was easy. The puppy's ears stand perfectly now.
