This is a great cream that immediately absorbs into the paw pads. Within ten seconds of rubbing it is absorbed enough that the animal cannot lick the product off. I have also used this on my old dog's dry, cracked nose, much to the same effect. Is softening the large callouses on his feet a little at a time... which is good, considering those are his shoes and I don't want his shoes to be too soft!

Five star. Not too runny, not too thick. No strange smells. Dogs (3 of them) don't seem to mind.

This works great for making my dog's rough paws smooth. He likes it when I put it on (usually after a bath so I remember to use it every now and then) and it soaks right in. His paws used to be so rough on the bottom before I started putting this cream on them (we use a walking/running path that has small pebbles and sand on it), and they continue to stay in good condition.
