Velcro Rubber Tourniquet
These tourniquets are top notch. I purchesed some and passed them out to my fellow cadre and they have been a literal life saver during training. These save time rather than fumbling with Pembrose Drains to use as tourniquets. The velcro is durable and the elastic is perfect width to provied a tourniquet effect without too much discomfort. Suggestion is to machine wash but air dry or the velcro degrades.

For about 4 years, I have been using a 3 oz syringe to irrigate my nasal passages. The irrigation has cut down considerably on sinus infections, but none of the syringes lasted more than a month or two, sometimes even less. Without exception, the bulb separated at the seam where the upper and lower half were joined. This was regardless of whether I paid $2 or $6 each, they all had the seam and they all separated after what I thought was much too short a period of use.I ordered the Cara syringe because the product photo seemed to indicate there was no seam. I have been fooled by product photos before, but this time the syringe matches the photo. There is no seam Furthermore, the syringe has a 2 year warranty, which suggests the manufacturer expects it to last.
The confidence is justified. Or at least this syringe is far better than all those tried previously. As of this writing I have been using the syringe daily for 6 months and it shows no sign of weakness. I expect it to continue working for many more months.
Now my problem is what to do about all the likely unneeded syringes. Because I had experienced so much trouble previously, I ordered 6 of these syringes rather than one or two because I wanted to be prepared. Previously when ordering syringes I had order 4, 5, or 6 so it would not be necessary to order every month. But this time it appears that those 6 are likely to get me through a number of years.
The syringe is labeled as an ear syringe and has a guard on the nozzle to prevent it from being inserted too far in the ear, but it also works as a nasal syringe. I find that the spout goes into the nose as far as the other syringes by pressing the guard gently against the nose.
The spout diameter is not as large as those on the previous syringes, probably to prevent too much pressure on the ear drum. But this is making it a more effective syringe for my purposes. With the previous syringes, the liquid injected into a nasal passage either drained out of the same nostril or ended up in my mouth. However, with this syringe, very little is draining out of the nostril; most is going into the mouth or passing through to the other nostril. I am sure I am getting a better nasal irrigation with this syringe than with the others.
The bulb of this syringe is a bit softer than those on the previous products, but it sucks up more liquid than they did. And this bulb is more consistent than the others with respect a getting a good quantity of liquid each time.
I highly recommend this syringe.

I'm concerned that some reviews here seem to indicate that AEDs require a license or other specialized training to use. Most states require that users take an approved CPR class that includes AED training. Most CPR classes today offer this additional training. If you are concerned, call your local ambulance or fire department. They should have good information about the requirements (if any) in your area.AEDs save lives. They are very, very easy to use. They should be in every home and office in the United States. They are made to be virtually "idiot-proof." It is EXTREMELY unlikely that you could shock someone that didn't need to be shocked. They walk you through just what to do in a cardiac arrest emergency.
I have been a career paramedic for nearly a decade. I have managed dozens of cardiac arrests. Of the very few "saves" we have had, almost all of them involved the use of an AED before we arrived. CPR is important, but it's been overrated by TV. The #1 goal when the heart stops -whether you're in the operating room, emergency room, in an ambulance, or lying on your living room floor -is to defibrillate that heart in an attempt to get it to beat normally again.
An accepted statistic is that the chances of survival decrease by about 10% for every minute the patient is without a pulse. In most places, you're lucky if you can get an ambulance crew into your home in under 8-10 minutes. Factor in the time it takes you to realize what's going on and to call 911. You do the math. Even with CPR, without an AED it's just about hopeless.

I have an old 3rd deg burn on my ankle and this skin in this area is very fragile. I try to be careful with it but...when the skin tears or is scraped off I have to be very careful with it until it heals. Sling Bear
A simple small white bear...but when no one else has a broken arm, it's comforting to cuddle with this guy. My son was very upset not to be able to climb the rock wall in the last gym class of the year...this little bear made it a little more bearable (no pun intended). He's the size of a beanie baby teddy but not as well made. I think he'll hold up though.
Only have had a for a white see how it holds up for the next 6 weeks.

I have a couple of broken teeth and am waiting for a dental appointment. I saw this one day in one of the local pharmacies, and wanted to give it a try so my teeth (hopefully) wouldn't break before I could get them the attention they needed. When I used it, it was so very easy to use, just take the little paddle (I guess that's what it would be called), scoop up a small amount (it takes much less to fill a tooth than I expected) and put it in the broken tooth. I won't buy this product again because of the strong, unpleasant perfume scent. It didn't smell like lavender at all to me.

Same product, just significantly cheaper in bulk.3M's 2" Micropore tape is probably the best tape available for routine use on the skin. It grips well even if there is hair on the surface, it removes without bringing any skin with it, and it generally leaves little if any residue.
It does absorb moisture pretty well without losing grip, although it doesn't shed that moisture easily; the tape will be sopping wet even if a bandage it secures isn't.

I bought two orders of these since you cannot find these band-aids in the regular stores anymore. They do have the one for blisters, but not the same as these are made thinner for scrapes. A while ago, I was mountain biking and had an encounter with a tree. Long story short, the side of my jaw scraped the tree and left a nice 1" gouge. It was not deep enough for stitches, but it was certainly boderline. After using these band-aids for minor scrapes on my arms and legs with great results, I decided to use on my face. Although it took like a month before I could go out without a band-aid on, it healed the wound with only a faint scar. What is also nice about these band-aids is that they are made to stick on for a few days before peeling / falling off. Of course, you will need to change more often if applied to an area that sweats more, but for those areas, it stays on for at least 2 days. TIP: Before applying the band-aid to the wound, warm it up in your hands to make it stickier to your skin (rubbing in between your hands works well while the paper backing is still on). Also, once applied onto the wound/skin, try not to peel off to re-position since it will not stick as well after it has picked up some of the oils from your skin.

I received this today but I can't wear it out of the box because the chain is too small for my head and there is no hasp.Cons:
The chain is not 24" it is 23.5 ". The extra half inch might have made the diff for me to use it as is.

Anywho, as far as size, it could be a quarter/three eights inch smaller in length and still do the job but I'm not really complaining, just sayin'. Better a tad too big, nez pas?
The diameter is slim but will handle .25 round or oblong tabs no problemo without them jamming up.
The seal looks worthy enough and I do like the top placement, it's at the end of the fob vice the top and is scored so it is easy to grasp and turn, even with wet hands. Yeah, I tested it.
One last, you can infer (imply?) from the price that it's made in China and you would be correct. Again, just sayin' for those of you like me who pay attention to where stuff you buy is made.
One last II, I'll cut the chain and use the fob until I can't stand looking at it in the mirror then search once more for the ever elusive Fob of Forever Beauty.

I do wish the necklace part was a little longer (it's 24" as received), I would be more comfortable if it were to be around 30". The reason for this is that if I want to take a nitro, I end up dumping all the pills either into my hand or spilling/losing them due to not being able to hold the carrier out where I can control it properly in the event of having a heart attack.

I had a problem with the shipping but that was USPS and has nothing to do with the quality of the case or the supplier. It is solid and even the ring between the case and chain was stainless steel which surprised me. Previous cases I have bought came apart and the top was all I had left because the ring was attached to the top. This type case doesn't separate.

I have tried many different brands and sizes but once I found these, they are the ones I buy and buy again.Perfect size for my needs. Thicker than regular gauze and more absorbent. WOW what a DEVASTATION it was to use these strips is all i can say. I am 38, I first took this "FSH" test in January 2011. I got a very faint pink line which said I had "normal" FSH levels. So I thought I was okay. Well after 6 months TTC, we finally went into the doctor. After drawing blood, I found out my FSH was elevated! Apparently, most of these OTC FSH tests tell you that you are normal if you your FSH is under 25...when normal is under 10-12 according to most doctors. I even took this test on the same day they did the blood FSH; again, the OTC test indicated I was normal, even though my lab work came back as abnormal and I will need to undergo treatment. I feel deceived...I could have been getting treatment earlier had this test really given me a true indicator of FSH. Spare yourself the heartbreak and false sense of security and ask your doctor to do a blood FSH test on Day 3.

25mIU/ml sensitivity is way too high to determine if you have an issue! My doctor said anything over 10-12 mIU/ml is considered a problem. The sensitivity level needs to be lower (like 10mIU/ml) in order to detect a true problem. Women can take this test and think they're good to go...when really they could have a high FSH of 20, which makes them pretty much infertile. So they'll put off going to the doctor because they think they're normal. When really their levels are much too high, and they need to go to the doctor!
Also FSH alone means nothing in testing. You also need to get the estrodiol level because estrodiol can falsely lower your FSH level anyway. Basically, take this test at entertainment level, it actually tells you nothing about your hormone level. Go to the doctor to get real results!

I had bought a box of the First Response pregnancy tests and the "fertility" test was included as an added bonus. After I started menstruating, I took the test and got a faint line, which is supposed to mean that I'm "normal". In researching this product, I found that it really does NOT give you any indication of whether or not you will be able to conceive. You would have to go to your OBGYN to have labs drawn (blood work) to get a specific level of your FSH (the hormone this test tests for). I would not pay money to do this test again.
