Headache RelieverTM

Unlike what others have said (yes, I read all the reviews, good and bad, so I knew what I was getting), I LIKE this product. I was looking for a headache relief product that I could use for my migraines and my sinus headaches that I could use with heat (which I believe helps them better) and that I could wear on my head that would not fall off.

This product was made for that purpose. I just turned it around so that the heating pads that you insert were in the front, no problem. And as far as the "crackling noise" complaint of one person once you tighten the wrap securely on your head, there is no crackling noise no matter how you turn your head even if you lie down with it on (because I tested it out thoroughly to make sure).

However, the pads that came with it don't seem to stay very warm when heated up in the microwave for only 20 secs at a time, so I may experiment with making small buckwheat hull pads to insert which seem to hold heat for longer period of time.

I'm still planning on keeping the wrap though because its very convenient for lying in bed when you want to lie on your side and sleep when you are not feeling well, or if you just have to do things but still have a sinus headache and have to keep going.

I have suffered from migraines for so long that I will not let them stop me from doing work I need to do, I just endure the pain. The wrap will help me endure less pain while I work when I have a migraine or sinus headache. It is a blessing.

When I read that this was invented by a NASA scientist and leading neurologist ho specializes in the treatment of severe headaches I decided to give it a try. It's a fairly simple product, I could just use my own ice packs at home, but it's convenient to have it all strapped in, and from what I understand, it's the slight pressure of having it wrapped around your head that helps get the results. And the results are there! I'm usually hesitant about taking over the counter medications for headaches, because I'd be taking them every day, but not with this, I get back from work, put it on for a bit and I'm good to go. Love it! I wish they had different colors, that's the only suggestion I have.

Headache RelieverIt actually works really good because I can move around and do thing without it slipping. I am really happy with it except for the fact that the cold packs only stay cold for roughly 20-30 minutes and sometimes are too cold at first because I freeze mine. I bought an extra 3 pack of inserts and I just switch them out every 30 minutes and it works out fine! Overall I would recommended it to anyone who suffers from headaches and finds that cold therapy and pressure therapy works for them. I like that I can adjust the pressure of the band too. Sometimes I like it loose but other times the constant pressure helps along with the cold. I haven't tried it with the packs hot but I'm sure it would be good that way too!

I could have invented this. Terrific for when you have a migraine or feel one coming on. I have had the occipital nerve block shots where you get shots to the back of your skull to numb the pain and this helps to create that sensation. No more wrestling with holding an icepack in place. Cons are it doesn't stay cold much longer than an hour, luckily the packs only need about 20 min. to cool down. Also, when adjusting the velcro just stick a finger in your ear if you have a serious migraine for that brief second. Ugh. For the life of me I have no idea who would want their head to be hot during a migraine attack but that is also an option, that would make my head want to explode. I don't think I could still not use medication, but I think it is a great assistance during an attack.

Betadine skin cleanser

For some reason, I tend to get frequent infections on my skin. Bacteria have a field day with me. Betadine takes care of it, time after time. I haven't run into anything so far that Betadine hasn't been able to help with (including the initial stages of impetigo) or cure (including infected splinters and boils). Gentle on the skin, tough on bacteria.

For those out there that struggle with similar underarm issues especially when they exercise, you may want to try using this product to cleanse under the arms. It disinfects and kills bacteria that naturally accumulates under the arms. To most people this is simply manageable with soap and deodorant but to some it can be a challenge to control with typical methods. This product is very effective to control underarm "issues!" It is safe and with regular use there is even no need to use deodorant even when you exercise. At least this has been my experience. Deodorant can contain chemicals that are not very safe to our bodies, so using this skin cleanser is an added benefit if you worry about the use of deodorant.

I hope this helps someone out there that may be looking for an effective way to control this "issue" with their underarms. I added a link of some person that also used it with positive results.

We love this product! Well, as long as you get the right one. The pictures and descriptions for the product are all mixed up. The All TERRAIN Aloe Gel SKIN RELIEF is Paraben-Free. If you look closely at the pictures you will see the picture for it with the description of the SKIN REPAIR which is not. The picture for SKIN REPAIR is on the SKIN RELIEF product description I matched the tube pictures and received the wrong one because I didn't check the description closely enough. The SKIN REPAIR description says Paraben-Free, but the ingredients are correct and lists the parabens. They fixed it to my satisfaction when I called to return it. I like to keep cotton balls and cotton swabs in clear jars sitting on the bathroom cabinet because they are so much handier. As the jar empties it's a good reminder to buy more, so we never run out. I needed to replace my last jar (it was glass), and found these. They are perfect! They're study plastic jars, quite simple and very useful. The price is so reasonable, too, and came in a set of five! They are the perfect size for the cotton balls and swabs, but are also great for all kinds of things. Have had this jel in my medicine cabinet for several months and have used it on little burns. Today, I burned the heel of my hand taking a pan out of the oven. Oven had been set at 425 degrees... and that pan was HOT!!! Burn was about 1 1/2" long and 3/8" wide. Burn Free Emergency Burn Kit

I bought this kit via a live purchase, not online, but after recently having had to use it in a real burn semi-emergency, I simply must review it. At the time I was appalled at the price of a relatively small box with just these items in it. Now I think it was cheap at 10X the price! I've also purchased a bunch more of the small packs for my various other emergency kits at work, in the car and in my back pack.

The gel works by simply removing heat and halting the process of the burning. And it does it fast and very completely. It then also removes the pain and keeps the tissue supple so you don't rip off the damaged skin. That certainly lowers the risk of infection.

So how do I know?

I recently reached out and grabbed a bowl that had been in the oven. Both hands, full contact and then I couldn't just drop it because of the boiling liquid contents. Therefore I had to lower the bowl, albeit quickly, before I could remove my hands. All of my fingers had immediate burns and raised flesh, meaning blisters. And they were in serious pain.

I used my thumbs to open the box right in the emergency drawer next to the stove. I had to tear open the packet, and that was painful, but then blessed relief came as the gel came in contact with the skin. It was instantaneous. Within a minute or two the gel had already soaked in, indicating a significant burn and the pain started coming back so I finally got the bottle open and applied liberally. Again, relief. I reapplied several times over the next couple of hours but was amazed at how well this worked. Most of the blisters never really filled and some of the fingertips were just raw rather than blistered.

Yes, I did get some nasty blisters the shape of the rim of the bowl, but overall, it was far less than I would have expected. And, to top it off, the blisters went away really fast and seemed not as full. I can't recommend this product highly enough. It should be in every kitchen, handy and ready.

I like these because the regular magnums are too thick. Hard to break, and If you feel it getting dry just change it out.

When me and my husband do use condoms, which is rare now that I'm on a magnificent birth control, we used these or "Skyn." For a condom, it feels pretty decent. Not as great as going without one, but sometimes the occasion calls for one. However, if you're well endowed or if you're a girl and your husband/boyfriend is well-endowed, be careful with going too hard with these! One night the condom shredded. Completely broke from the tip to the base because he packs some heat! We didn't even notice until we were done because these condoms are so thin. Most tattoo shops recommend A&D Ointment, which I used on my first tattoo. A while ago, I got a scrape (not on my tattoo) and I figured that I would use some A&D on it since it supposedly helped to heal my tattoo. After a few days, nothing really seemed to change, I used some Bacitracin and it healed in a day. (I am not saying that you should use Bacitracin on your tattoo!) Considering that A&D didn't really help me heal very much, I went looking for other products and found this...

The first day you get your tattoo you are supposed to use the foam and the cream. The instructions don't make the most sense to me, but I'm guessing the foam is to clean it and the cream moisturizes. Again, it doesn't really say that the cream also helps heal your tattoo, but after using it I think it does it (and does it well).

I'm only two days into using the kit, but it seems to be working. The pain has gone down a ton (I had a 1/2 sleeve outlined with some of the background shaded) and I am not seeing any flaking of the ink at all. By the second day, the tattoo stopped 'leaking' ink. Everything seems to be scabbing up nicely.

It would appear that this kit really is helping things along. I will add more down the line, but I am very pleased with the kit.

Had my tattoo done six days ago and am using this kit since day one. So far the tattoo is healing very well and looks better than the other ones when healing. The biggest negative is the price... but if you spend $200 or more for a tattoo, what's another $30?

Give it a try... and follow the directions...

I Got a full sleeve(in color) done and i usually use TattooGoo but i wanted to try something different, saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. So far my tattoo is healing fine, but the foam soap doesn't last long (and not just because i have a sleeve) so this would be ideal for smaller pieces, the Lotion is THICK! Whoa, it has the consistency of toothpaste so the first day it was painful since my arm was sore and parts were swollen,so when using the lotion it will take longer than you would expect... trust me. There really is nothing much to say about this product. It basically speaks for itself and it is very effective. I used it on my first tattoo and I am impressed on how it sped up my healing and kept my new tat moisturized. The pictures of my tattoo are on the product page. I did a TON of research on aftercare and it seems that there's just as much contradiction between the professionals as there is with the amateurs. I had a special a&d ointment applied and saran wrapped for 3 hours until I got home. I immediately used the foam soap to wash off the ointment and then dried it by dabbing a soft towel on it to soak up the water AND MOISTURE which avoids the scabbing. Large Display Digital Thermometer Lumiscope

I have thyroid problems and learned from my studying the subject to take my temperature 3 times per day orally to find out what my metabolic rate was. Then I divide by 3, get the average temp for the day and put it on a chart. This is an amazing way to find out how you are doing with little cost. The key is, the thermometer will beep after a short time. Ignoring that beep, I take the temp for 5-7 minutes for a more accurate number. I learned this from reading the book "Stop the Thyroid Madness" found on Amazon.

This is the best thermometer I have found and it certainly has helped me get an assessment of where I am in my metabolic health. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this thermometer after it was recommended by Dr. Rind (the holistic physician) for taking basal body temperature for thyroid issues. It's never given me any problems. Already changed the battery too, which wasn't too bad...since it was the first time it was kind of hard to get apart.

Ok, so when I burned my wrist and needed to gauze it up, I had this tape in the first aid kit I brought to school. It worked very well. A few days later I needed tape to finish up a project, and that was all that was at my disposal. It worked like a charm. So far, this tape has been even more useful than duct tape. It's applications go so far beyond medical, it is a great tape to have around whenever you need something stuck up in a jiffy.

I use this tape as additional security for my colostomy bag and it does the job quite well.

It is unaffected while washing the area yet peels off nicely when removing.
