Six years ago I discovered CALMOSEPTINE OINTMENT and I can tell you with 100% confidence in my reputation as an expert that CALMOSEPTINE OINTMENT is the ONLY effective skin barrier on the market today. (If there are others I have not found them yet) Although created for post surgical patients this ointment beats all other diaper creams hands down. Their buttocks are not completely protected from urine or feces. (I am not promoting a child staying in a diaper once they have urinated or defecated, however the acids in feces can irritate an infant's buttocks very quickly.)

CALMOSEPTINE OINTMENT is also excellent for bug bites, burns, sumac rashes and even hemorrhoids.

Unfortunately many medical professionals still do not know about this ointment and the relief and protection it can provide.

Some would say the price is costly but when weighed against the effectiveness of CALMOSPETINE the cost is a small price to pay for such a great preventive measure.

I have IBS coupled with occassioal hemorrhoids and this is the only product that not only soothes, it actually lasts! It had been one of those days...A rather routine day for us crohnies. I quickly awoke to that old familiar feeling. A little gurgle quickly turns into a mad dash to the toilet.Sadly, as I sat there, i knew something was missing. Where is my Calmoseptine? The email said it had been shipped. Had someone hi-jacked my mail box? Had the mailman kept it for himself? The burning was intense. DARN! Out of baby wipes, now what?

There are many aspects of Crohn's disease that patients find embarrassing so they are talked about very little. One of them happens to be skin irritation on your behind from constant trips to the bathroom. It's almost like an adult diaper rash. 2.5X Lighted Full Page Magnifier with Flexible Neck Floor Stand

This magnifier with light is really a bad, bad product. Here are the things I found wrong with it: 1. It is REALLY HARD to put together, and I am good at assembling things 2. The pole, which runs from the light to the base, IS NOT CONNECTED to the base. This means that every time you want to move the magnifier, you have to get down on the floor and pick it up by the heavy base. 3. And most important, the "magnifier" is actually only a thin plastic sheet (you can buy these anywhere magnifiers are sold for about $5.00. It did NOTHING in terms of magnifying. Any old hand held magnifier would do better.

I bought this for my mother. I can't tell you how inappropriate it was for her...or anyone, really. I couldn't quite imagine her, at 90 years old, getting on her hands and knees to move it. Nor could she see anything with this!

Further, I had to pay to have it shipped to me and $10.00 to return it to the company.

It is not a good product. It terribly warps the image of whatever you try to magnify, has sharp glare and just impossible to use. I also had to pay for shippping both ways.

Ezy Dose Four-a-day Weekly Maxi-pharmadose Medication Organizer

It is smaller than I expected and if you have LOTS of pills (especially large ones ie. flaxseed ) you will not be getting everyone of them in the cubes. I also found I had to get use to sliding out the trays. But overall, for the price, I am satisfied.

I had almost given up finding anything the right size. These are perfect for me. I recently had weight loss surgery and instead of all the pills I had to take for all my co-morbidities, I now have to take a load of vitamins each day, and some of them are very large sized. I have previous had the mid-size Pharmadose and they worked very well, when my pills were smaller. This came today and I was amazed and very pleased to find that my very large vitamins fit in the compartments! Using one of these is the only way I can remember to take my pills (whatever they might be) and the only way I can tell if I have already taken my pills. I ordered 2 to try and I might order 2 more to get a month's worth. They sent me 2 different colors, nice, but not necessary for me.

I am very happy with these.

We have used several of this model pill organizers in my family for many months now. We use separate organizers for morning and evening meds and load 4 weeks worth at a time. We had the larger units and decided to go to this smaller (5.25x8") unit. It is sometimes tight to get all meds and vitamins in. It is easy to load and fairly easy to empty a single selection of pills into the hand. You must firmly hold the plastic slide that opens the slot so it doesn't slip down and allow some pills from the next lower slot to also come out. Also when taking from the bottom row, the slider flips up since it is below the plastic support slot -an inconvenience, but not serious. It does have a lock to hold the plastic sliders closed. You must push a button on the right top to release a slider (you can elect to disable this). This was different from my previous larger organizer, but I came to like the feature. It prevents the organizer from slipping open, particularly when tossed into a suitcase for travel. Our previous larger version (same brand) lasted 16 years before the plastic trays where the pills sit began to crack. Overall we are pleased and haven't seen any other organizers that work as well and hold up. We would purchase the same product again.

My former pill organizer of the same brand just became too small when i was prescribed some large vitamins too. This next size up has much more space but doesn't take up much more counter or storage space. Thanks!

Swim n Play 4-Ounce Vinyl Liner Patch Kit

My kit was in like new condition when received. I used it to patch two holes in the bottom of a 24' above ground pool under 12,500 gallons of water. I applied the patches as per the directions and it worked like magic. I have since checked the patches (2 weeks later) and they are "welded" to the liner.

You basically cut a patch about 2 to 3 inches in diameter, squirt on a generous amount of glue then fold the patch in half like a taco. Take the patch down to the bottom of the pool (yes even under water) and firmly spread it over the hole. Squeeze out the excess glue to the edges. You will have to come up for air a few times but keep returning to the area and press the patch down working the glue out to the edge. After two or three times the patch is stuck and stuck good!!

The people having problems with this kit probably have an incompatible surface they are trying to bond too. The glue smells like a gelled MEK substance that actually melts the vinyl a bit.

I too received the product only to find the glue hard and unusable. After 15 min of searching the return policy and another 15 on the phone with customer service i was able to order a replacement without having to return the item and Amazon garanteed it will not be defective. The customer service was helpful.

This arrived in unusable condition. The adhesive is old, hard and unusable. Amazon.com says it cannot be returned and I'm trying to get them to credit my account.

It doesn't have a good smell, not bad either so it's not like a strong medicinal fragrance that people will notice or perfumy. It absorbs pretty quickly, it's kinda creamy not runny, a caramel color cream/paste type. Myrrh is an ancient, natural ointment which works for almost any skin problem. It is great for everything from dry skin to wounds. It also works very quickly. Better than anything you can get at the store. You may find it expensive, but it is well worth it. Especially because you only have to use a little bit. Mom's Medicine Chest Newborn Kit

I had a feeling I was in for disappointment when the mailman dropped off the package to my doorstep this afternoon. The box was startlingly small: too small to hold what in my mind seemed like a thorough and sturdy med kit.

Sure enough, when I opened it I was disgusted. I'd like to point out that this is NOT an inexpensive item: 42 dollars should at least have merited a shoebox-sized container, but sadly it isn't even that big and it's cheap plastic. Inside, the few items are as poorly proportioned as the box. They clearly state that these are not samples and are full sized. No, they are not. The contents are a sick joke: a tiny bottle of butt paste, a 30ml container of saline nose drops, 15ml of an off-brand acetaminophen bottle which included a dropper that was already broken, a 1 FL ounce bottle of simethicone drops (also off-brand)an extremely cheap digital thermometer (not even the type that can be used in the ear or under the arm), a useless paper book for newborn first aid, (Google is a lot better resource)the crappiest brush I have ever seen in my life, a cheap pacifier, and TWO alcohol swabs.

Now I need to go out and buy my own stuff.....except it won't fit into that piddly piece of junk they call a box.

I realize the baby item market is filled with ripoffs and gimmicks, but this by far is the biggest scam I've fallen victim to while shopping for baby items. Do yourself a favor: never click on this item again, go out and buy your own box and fill it with QUALITY medicines. Don't let this company rip you off blindly the way I was.

This stuff really works. I get a lot of dead skin between my toes. I put this stuff on, give it a few minutes to dry, and the dead skin is gone. It feels nice too. They use something very similar to this when they give pedicures, but you can do this at home.

The First Years American Red Cross On The Go First Aid Kit

While I like the idea of a First Aid Kit specific to infants and toddlers, there is nothing to this kit except a little gauze, band-aids, and cheap plastic tweezers. (And some alcohol wipes) The First Aid booklet is more of a pamphlet and contains the very basic stuff you learn in the 3rd grade Nothing too specific to infants or toddlers. I would have liked better quality items The tweezers are flimsy plastic and will not pull out much of anything. The same with the scissors. Go to your drug store and buy stainless steel tweezers and scissors, dressings, and a few saniwipes. You will pay less and get more use out of it.

On the bright side, the box looks nice and is pretty solid.
